These chicken strips are a very easy and natural way to calm down my dog. When she gets anxious, she is 65 lbs of quivering and unmovable. But, if I give her a few of the mellow mutt chicken strips 10-15 mins. before a car ride, or a storm, she thinks she is getting a great treat and it does just as it implies...mellows. I break them up into bite size chews...my dog tends to swallow big chunks and the strips are tough and hard, they get stuck in her throat. I cannot let her see me put the treats away or she will sit and whine at the cupboard where they are stored. I think she knows they make her feel better!

Our dogs are all nuts about these treats. Not completely convinced they have the claimed effect on our pooches especially our Jack Russell but even Valium would do much for him.
