Very strong collar (I have the pulling dog to prove it). Yet the edges of the nylon are soft and don't wear off the fur, unlike the Lupine brand collars. Highly recommend. P.S. Do NOT ever leave a martingale collar on your dog when you are not with him...it can choke or strangle him if it gets caught on something. Yes, it DOES happen!

I needed a martingale collar for a dog who can back out of a collar unless it is too tight. I also didn't want one of the wider collars for this girleven tho she is 85lb the wider collar I had on her before was too much. Since there is no clasp remember to measure the widest part of their head rather than the neck. This collar would easily fit a larger than 85lb lab.

I got the pink and the color was pretty true to the photo. I might have preferred it to be a little more pale but it is not bright or anything. The little dots on it are heart shaped but this is subtle so it's cute without being over the top in my opinion. The only thing I don't like is the black plastic on the slinding part. I feel it will be durable but metal would look nicer on the pink. Also the thickness of the webbing means it is a little bulky. I'm sure this makes it stronger but have had thinner webbing that is perfectly adequate for large dogs. This is just my preference. I would still recommend it to anyone!
