Much easier to manuever my dog with this. My wife thought it bothered him too much though so we got a gentle leader harness. Harness doesn't work as well as the head leader, but my dog does seem more comfortable with it. I have been told that it depends on the dog whether to use the head leader or not. Some dogs are fine with it others are not.
