Wooden Bone Design Gate

I really like the look and stability of this gate, and it's perfect for my two aging large dogs. However, my minature daschund tried to jump up on it and his head went through the top of the bone cut-out, then he slid down into the narrow middle part of the bone cut-out and panicked. After several attempts to dislodge his head from the gate while he was flailing with hysterics we got a saw out to cut the gate apart. He finally writhed around on his side and slipped the gate before we had to cut it, but it was terrifying to listen to him scream. Use only around small dogs that don't jump.

The product is of solid quality in comparison to other gates I have purchased. The gate's color fits perfectly into my decor. The delivery time of the gate exceeded my expectations.

Gate is exactly as shown. Solidly made, heavy enough wouldn't fall over if someone brushed up against it and neither of my big dogs can easily push it with their noses (or at least they haven't figured it out yet). It's a bit shorter in length than I expected (should have gotten the measuring tape out first!)I ended up attaching to the wall on one side and a bookshelf on the other. It's being used to block the entrance to a stairway that is quite open, so there's nothing to back the gate up on either end. With the smaller dog it wouldn't necessarily be a problem, however with my two larger dogs, they could lean on it and knock it over. I would highly recommend this over some of the other gates similarly priced or even the cheaper ones that look okay but turn out to be rather flimsy.
