Dean and Tyler Soft Touch Dog Leash, Brown 6-Feet by 3/4-Inch Width With Brown Handle And Solid Bras

I have been buying leather leashes for 13 years and this one stands out. The padded handle is very comfortable and the best feature. I also am impressed with the sturdy brass clip. The brass clip is an important feature to me because my last one (different brand) broke and my dog ended up nipping a horse. My dog is 88 pounds and very strong so I need a heavy duty clip. The leather looks and feels like it is good quality. It does not run and it doesn't have a yucky leather smell.

This leash is everything as advertised, well priced, well built and looks great on my dog. I have two other leather leashes that seem softer and more bendable. Maybe with time this will be better. Right now it is stiff.

This is a really nice leash, but I am returning it because 3/4" is too wide (I double the leash as I walk the dog and cannot comfortably grip it at this width). I need a 1/2" width, but unfortunately, Dean & Tyler does not sell a 1/2" width leash on amazon.com.
