This was a lifesaver for myself and my dachshunds. I have wrought iron fences and tried the electric route with no luck and this solved the problem. My first one did split in half as I saw had happened with someone else but this was after time and the company sent me another one. I am ordering another one now as the replacement has split in numerous places but this is after some serious wear and tear and cleaning. I might have rated it a 4 on that the fabric could be more durable, but it deserves a 5 rating as this product solved a huge problem. The dogs do not even seem to notice it and it doesn't bother them at all.
