These collars are great, and recommended by our dog's trainer. The chain martingale releases pressure easily, so when the dog relaxes his pull, the collar relaxes pressure. Nylon versions tend to get stuck in a 'choke' position and we HATED seeing our dog yelp from fear of his own collar. This collar, on the other hand, is perfect. And the quick release lets our double-coated shiba inu go 'naked' at night so his fur doesn't mat around his neck.And the colors are great!
