Nature's Miracle No-Stress Cat Calming Spray

Nature's Miracle No-Stress Cat Calming SprayThey may not be able to say that, but I sure can. I rescued a 4 week old kitten from my backyard, who was already feral. She hid so much I barely caught glimpses of her. My 13 year old cats were a little on edge also. I had the option of this and the plug in version from Feliway. I tried this spray first. I rolled up a washcloth, and secured it with a rubber band. I sprayed the cloth and just threw it in the middle of the room. The bottle will say you need to spray it every day, but cats can smell very well and mine were still playing with this rag a week later, despite no additional sprays. Three weeks later and as I am writing this, the kitten is stretched out behind my head on the couch napping. She "asks" to be pet. The older cats are not only less stressed, but they try to play with the kitten also. It should be re-named: "Happy-Cats." It mysteriously ends up in different rooms... I understand that this spray is very good for kennels, play rugs, cat scratch posts, stuffed animals and just the wall or door. It has a very light "spa" scent to it, which my sensitive sense of smell doesn't detect except briefly as I am spraying it onto something. A bottle goes a very long way. I recommend re-spraying about 1/week. If you have a feral, try the plug-in simultaneously. If you simply have a stressed cat, this bottle should suffice. READ THE LABELand DO NOT spray it directly on your cat. Cats are people too. Now cat owners have more than luck on their side.

I recently adopted a 1 yr-old cat from a local shelter. She had been neglected by her former owners at a crucial phase of social development and terrorized by the family dog, so she came to my home sick, terrified and withdrawn in the corner of her crate for four days. I then decided to pick up Nature's Miracle No Stress Calming Spray at a retail pet store, in hopes that it would help her to feel safe in my bathroom, before introducing her to my other cat and the rest of the house. The spray was $9.99, about 30% more than Amazon's price.

Day 1 of using No Stress Spray: Upon spraying the bedding and the towel on top of the wire crate, I noticed an almost-immediate difference in the cat's temperament. Her posture was less rigid, and I could hear her batting a ball-bell around later that evening. Her food dish was empty the following morning, and she had successfully used the litter box. I have since been applying the spray every other day. One spray on top of the crate, one spray on her bedding, and one spray to a blanket with hot h20 bottle in the opposite corner of the bathroom.

Days 6 & 7: She started purring and became receptive to chin scratches, pets, and rolled over for belly rubs.

Day 10: I found her out of the crate for the 1st time, snuggled up in the blanket next to the hot water bottle, and she came out of hiding for interactive play.

I haven't tried other pheromone plug-ins, collars or sprays, but I'm fortunate to have found such a wonderful and effective product at such a reasonable price! The others that I've seen have range in price from $12 to $36, and only last for 3 weeks to 1 month. In my opinion, this spray really works! It is worth the money, and I will purchase it again, that is, if I ever reach the end of this bottle.

We just moved and our calico was not liking the house, so we tried to find something that would calm her down. She was very hissy and not at all pleasant to be around for about a week, and we found this. It works really well. we spray it on her favorite places to lay, and she remains content throughout the day now. She is not at all dopey like some of the triptofan products made her feel. It doesn't have that strong of an odor, and she doesn't seem to mind the smell, and I don't either. It wares away in about half an hour (the smell). She might even like it a little bit. She is definitely a little more stress-free with this product!

My cat usually gets terribly car sick, so I have started spraying this in her carrier cage and she has calmed down considerably. I plan on using it on her cross country plane ride, and I am confident she will be relaxed with this!

The product works great as long as my cats don't see or hear me spray it and it has dried all the way before i let them come in contact with it. Once it has dried however my cats sniff it out and sleep right where i sprayed it. We mostly purchased the spray to prepare them for a frequent 2 hour car ride they go on but i have found myself using it in the morning as well if they want to wake up and raise havoc before i'm ready to be up.
