got this a day or so ago and already seeing an effect in the problem behaviors of mine and my parents dogs. the remote can be programmed to work with 2 more receivers which you can buy individually from their store as i am going to do. vibrate catches the attention most of the time but is not as strong as a shock. came in a nice case with charger and easy to read instructions. always start on low settings to see what works best for you. this is the best bang for my buck that i have seen as of yet. it works fine so i haven't had to test the warranty. item was bought through amazon from the manufacturer and delivery was extremely fast.

I have had this collar for approximately 1 week so a lot remains to be seen. The only con I have found so far and it may be specific to my dog is the vibrate feature is not really that strong and doesn't get her attention very well. The beep and shock work well and I only had to use the shock a total of 3 time to break behaviors i have been trying to stop for months. I now just give the command and if I don't get an immediate response I give the command along with the tone and she does exactly what I am telling her. The highest shock I used is level 3 and I tested the levels on myself so I knew what I was doing to her. 3 is where it started to go from annoying/uncomfortable to a little painful for me. It comes in a soft case and the collar is very long and easy to trim so it will fit any medium to very large dog. All in all so far it is a good alternative to the more expensive collars.

The collar was fine for about a week. I took him to the river and it was fine for about 30 minutes. Next thing I know, I hear it beeping over and over again then before I can get to him it started to shock him over and over again. It took me about a minute to catch him to get it off of him. I immediately turned it off and then it would not turn back on. I can only guess that water got into it. I believe this collar would be fine if you do not plan on taking your dog in water and I would never leave it on your dog unsupervised. I have returned the collar and received a full refund.

I used a $150 remote training collar with my last dog and loved it so I decided to get another. Didn't want to pay so much this time around so I shopped a bit. Took a chance on this one liking the features having vibrate, beep and shock, glad I did. It works just as expected. I tested it on myself all the way up to level seven and it surprised me but didn't hurt. For people new to these types of collars it's a similar sensation to muscle stimulators they use for massage.

Pros: Easy to use, intuitive, works well. My dog responds well to it and I rarely have to use the shock feature as she knows what might happen after the beep.

Cons: The vibration is weak but I considered that a bonus feature anyway. It does get her attention sometimes and it's nice at the dog park when she jumps up on people I can hit that and they don't know I'm operating it if I want to go stealth.

Conclusion: I'm just as happy about this purchase if not more so than the Innotek I bought previously. My dog does know when she is wearing it though. I have a stubborn pit I got from rescue a month ago and when she is being a rascal I put it on and immediately she sits pretty. :) I haven't fully tested the waterproof feature... I just bought that as insurance for when she meets a puddle or I have the hose out. For $10 more why not. Works just as well as the last collar I bought at half the price with the added feature of vibrate, I consider that a good value.

So we have been using this for about 3 weeks when my Sheppard decided that he wanted to play in a rain storm and go romping through the mud and water. The next thing I know, he is running around crazy yelping. I finally got to him and man it puts out a nice whomp. After getting hit a couple of times myself I finally managed to get it off of him. The Sheppard was a rescue and we were making great headway with training and stopping his bad habits. Now he will not allow any sort of collar to be put on him. These things are NOT WATERPROOF!!!! When they fail they fail in a negative manner, they do not have a fail safe mode. Just because it is written, do not believe it, IT IS NOT WATERPROOF. ABSOLUTELY NO CONTACT WITH COMPANY AFTER REPEATED EMAILS AND ATTEMPTS TO CALL. THIS IS A POC THAT DOES NOT WORK IF IT GETS DAMP AND THE COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
