The only way to turn it on or off is to actually unscrew the metal prongs, pull off the rubber seal (not waterproof) and REMOVE the batteries. If you forget? Tough luck your batteries will be dead the next day. We got so annoyed dealing with this that we ditched it.

This was a complete waste of money.I have an Australian Shepherd who didn't even know he had a collar on.It does absolutely nothing,plus you can't shut it off.You have to take it apart and take the batteries out.SAVE YOUR MONEY.

this is just what i needed. the only problem it has is the noise it makes for warnings or whatever is stupid. its a bird chirping. i dont know how they think that will get the dogs attention
