The weight and strength of this lead is high quality, as is the clasp. We have a 13-lb., white miniature poodle who doesn't need anything nearly this strong, but I loved the pattern and it's not too heavy. Pattern is reflective silver. My husband is a good sport about walking the little guy, and this lead provides the gravitas Scooter needs to keep his little paws on the ground.
