Old Mother Hubbard Crunchy Classic Snacks for Dogs, Mini, Chick'N'Apples

I occasionally like to break up cookies for smaller treats, and this flavor is the best for that. My two dogs like all of the Mother Hubbard flavors, but these are the easiest to break.

The description says Mini(for smaller dogs)the other reviews have been unfair to the manufacturer, especially since larger sizes are sold. The treats are all natural, wheat free, and made from healthy ingredients. Brody's favorite flavor is ChickNApples (chicken, apples, egg and carrots) and gets super excited when he sees the bag come down from the shelf. His next favorite in the peanut butter flavored. We have a 10 year old Lab who is arthritic in her hips and Old Mother Hubbard offers a Hip and Joint treat 3 a day is equal to her Rx. She loves the treats where she knows when a pill is being offered, even rolled in sliced meat or cheese.

Going back to the size of treats, Brody is toy poodle/shih tzu and weighs 13 lbs. The minis are perfect for his little mouth and I even break the mini into 2 pieces so he thinks he's getting more. Even my lab welcomes the bonus of the mini when she's inside at treat time.

When the package says "mini", it means it. These thin bone shaped treats are maybe an inch long and perfect for small dogs. I don't feel guilty rewarding my Cavalier Spaniels (they weigh about 20 pounds each) with these gems a couple of times a day. The ingredients are wholesome and my dogs love them. The only issue I have is that I think there are a few more broken treats as a result of the shipping than there would be otherwise, but it's not so bad as to avoid the convenience. Besides, the dogs like the broken pieces just as much as the whole ones.

I am very disappointed in what I received today... I expected a larger bag and these bones are nothing for a chocolate lab. very disappointed that Old Mother Hubbard does not have large wheat free biscuits for big dogs.... End of story!
