This was recommend to me by a trainer. I decided to try it because my dog weighs 75 pounds and sometimes he will jump around on a walk if he sees another dog. I'm very happy with the results. You just need to make the adjustments for the correct fit. With this one they are able to easily open mouth to pant and take treats. My dog now walks better on the leash and if he does jump or pull, he is much easier to manage. I even take my 2 dogs for a walk together now because I feel more confident handling them. In the past I would walk them one at a time. I definitely recommend this product.

I have a 4 1/2 Month old Alaskan malamute. My vet recommend the snoot loop to me. Works great. Make sure to follow the fitting directions. After a week I have seen such a huge improvement that I have decide to get one for my black lab as well. I have tried the gentle leader(didn't have good luck with that) and anti pull harness (worked good but takes time to put on) I have found this very fast to put on and it works great. The first few days was a little tough, she looked like a marlin on a hook. But once she got use to the idea that I was the one taking her for a walk she calmed down. Our multiple daily walks are now very peaceful for both dog and human.

yes it gives *maybe* a little more control but the hassle of fitting is not worth the slight difference. if you have a dog that pulls, go to Larz and get a solid, chiropractic-designed harness, or go with a simple Gentle Leader and you can't go wrong. this snoot loop did NOTHING to hamper the dogs pulling like a plowhorse on leash.
