If you think you need them it is absolutely worth it. I have two Siberian huskie who behave wonderfully but I wanted to prove breeders and trainers wrong and really enjoy the joys of having two beautiful dogs and get them to walk off leash and play at the park with little to no issue and I will say after three weeks of use with the collars and book I mentioned above ="success" a 1/2 mile walk in central Tempe arizona to the park and back no issues 99% of the time. A quick "NIC" and they are behaving a again!!!!
IMPORTANT!!!!I will say do your research do not think this is a problem fixer it's not!!!!!! It's a training tool you have to put in the work with your pets not just zap your dog when they dont do what you want.

I have a siberian husky and a german shepherd mix. Both of them have a hard time listening when they are outside on my brother's huge property. These collars work well. We don't use the shock setting, just vibrate. For now that seems to be enough to get their attention. If you have a very furry dog like a husky you will need to order extra long prongs for the collars. Worth the money.Read Best Reviews of Dogtra FieldStar Remote Training Collar Here
We have 2 dogs and you can control both easily. We bought this on because we had an earlier version for our other 2 dogs. When we got 2 more dogs we got the new version for then. The new version is big improvement because you don't have to switch between the dogs you can control both at the same time.My shepherd mix was very difficult to train and showed signs of aggression shortly after I adopted her from a shelter in South Central Los Angeles...little did I know the adventures we'd share. She was hard to handle and didnt pay attention, so I put her into a 5 week"boot camp.". She came home very well trained and with a Dogtra collar on her, and a matching collar for my other dog, who usually listens....The dog trainers taught me how/when to use the remote. That was 7 years ago. We have used the collars every day. My dogs loves to swim in the ocean, creeks, algae ponds. The collars have lasted incredibly well. The original batteries still hold the charges well. The dog still has a strong prey drive, and the collar makes me more comfortable when I walk her off leash that she won't just take off after a deer or sniff up a skunk. One stimulation and she stops what she is doing and races back to me. Now, she is a very good listener and just having the collar on her is more than enough. I am only on this site to buy a new coupler for the charger...the vacuum ran over it and stripped the wire, not really a fault of the product.
