I have trained my dog with bells at the door for many years, but I had used a ribbon I put bells on. My ribbon was effective, but too quiet. This product comes with nice large bells that are easy to hear. I am pleased with the quality of the sewing also. If you are training your dog with bells, you need to take your dog outside at regular intervals and show the dog that they can ring the bell first, then give a treat so that they know Bells=Rewards. My dog took about a week to learn and now she is loving the fact she can get our attention to take her out when she needs to.

These bells are very well made and they make a great sound. They're long enough for even the smallest dog.Our 7 month old mixed breed dog used to nip to let us know that it was time to go out for a walk.
