I bought this thinking it would help shut my dog up. I have a Morkie that like to bark a lot. I tried one of the bark collars but that didn't do squat.

This honestly didn't help, he was still able to bark even with it on. It's the perfect size for him, wasn't too big. Maybe hes just a ventriloquist. Either way, it looked terrible on him, I felt bad for even having it on him. Reminded me of "The Silence of the Lambs"

But the functionality of the product is to keep your dog from biting and barking, which I'm sure it would stop him from biting, so it does half of its job. "Permits drinking and panting" great for long term, and probably a must, but for the barking side of things, I think having the extra slack allows them to bark.

Over all it's really a decent product. It might work better on bigger dogs, but the XS size still allows barking on small dogs.

decent muzzle but still enough room for the dog to chew and get into stuff, wish the part where the mouth is was adjustable.

Bought this for Service Dog Training & its a bit big on my 50 lbs. Blk Lab Service Dog trainee but she is young & will grow into it, when I ordered it the sizing info was a tad lacking so it was a gamble. I'am sure amazon would have let me return it but the cost for it was less than what it cost me in gas to drive it to the post office & lucky for me my Grannie taught this ole boy to sew & with a few stitches its fits good as new. My opinion is this is more of a 60 to 70 pound fit range for adult dogs like Rotts.
