It is the perfect loudness for my two cats even though one typically does not like sudden noises.
I like that this clicker has a section on the end for a key chain or string if you choose to use one.
Thus far I find no negatives about this clicker. This clicker was too quiet for my use. You can't hear it outdoors hardly at all. I also bought the "blue one" and it is much better.I had this and it was a good investment for dog training. If it doesn't work you are probably the one to blame, this does what it was made to do: MARK THE BEHAVIORI wanted a quieter clicker. This is the best I could find. This works great but the part to attach it to key rings, etc, is very flimsy and I have to keep taping it. Definitely a design flaw.I use this with my cat and she quickly got the idea. So this product CAN be used with cats. I've taught her "paw up," "paw down," "touch," "touch this," "lay," and "sit," all effectively with this product as help.
