I have a 3 month old Pomeranian puppy (almost 5 pounds) and purchased this harness based on very good reviews of other sizes. Tightened all the way, it fit my little guy pretty well. Pros and cons:PROS:
1) VERY easy to put on! I'd previously tried the Puppia harness. It was a struggle to get on, especially over his head (too tight over the head, but fit nicely once you got it past the head). He didn't get excited to see the Puppia harness. The Easy Walk Harness was so easy to put on and take off that he got excited to see it.. it meant going outside!
2) Very lightweight and didn't rub him anywhere he seemed very comfy with the Easy Walk Harness. He completely forgot he was wearing it sometimes.
CONS:
1) NOT very chewproof his sharp puppy teeth chewed right through this harness.
2) Biggest Con, and why I will not be buying another one: The leash hooks in the front, on the chest. Toy dogs are SO close to the ground already that placement here was VERY annoying when we were walking. He constantly stepped over his leash, got tangled in it, tripped over it, etc. The leash got filthy fast, and walking him was not pleasant for him or I, as I was constantly having to stop and get him untangled. The leash was right in his face the entire time and he got very annoyed with it and would bark at it. It would hit or rub on his face the entire time... I felt bad for him.
I can see how this harness would be a great idea for a larger dog that is off the ground a little more, but it isn't a great idea for a little dog like a Pomeranian. I recently purchased a halter where the leash hooks onto his back. Our walks will be easier.
