Arm & Hammer Floor Protection Pads, 36-Count

Arm & Hammer Floor Protection Pads, 36-CountI'm using (was using) these pads for light use of a stud cat. Previously, they were adequate for this, however I recently purchased two packages of the "30% larger" which is what I had before of the same brand. Arm & Hammer was the only brand of puppy pads I could find that didn't state on the package that it contains an "attractant" odor, which I don't want. The new ones are white on white meaning the absorbent pad is the same color as the backing paper. Very difficult to determine which side should be up. What a mess if you get it wrong. Many of the pads also had sections of the absorbent are missing. I have since switched to a pads the same size, marketed for both humans and pets (http://www.amazon.com/Tranquility-Peach-Sheet-Underpads-Size/dp/B000FD8KAO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1296413855&sr=8-1) and the difference is amazing. More expensive, but you get what you pay for. I tested the two different pads side-by-side and the Arm and Hammer pad, even with absorbent area intact, leaked badly.

These pads are very thin but absorb quite a bit of pee. They are just the

right size for my ugodog pan. I do have to fold them a little bit on the ends

to fit. As with any pad I suggest you have some time of pan underneath, because

puppies and dogs sometimes can pour rivers, and no pad can absorb a river.

I have a 13 year old maltese who has been raised on the training pads, over the years I have used many different types of the pads, the arm and hammer are by far the worst i have ever used. Interesting the picture on the package doesn't even resemble the product.

These are good diapers for dogs, but I thought they were gonna be a little bit more thick. The brand is good, so they serve well their purpose.

I have been using these pads for the last 4 years. In the past, I have bought other brands but my dogs would shred them and pee to the side of them. I am gone for long hours during the day and my dogs use them when not at home to let them out. My dogs are 15 and 20 lbs. They may be little but they go pretty frequently. These Arm and Hammer pads have been the only brand they will use and are very absorbant, stay in place, and have never disappointed me.
