Guardian Cotton Web Training Pet Lead Leash - Green

Guardian Gear 50-Feet Cotton Web Dog Training Lead, GreenWas looking for a light weight training lead longer than the 30ft found in most pet stores. This product is perfect for recall training at distances. Cotton material is light and doesn't tangle up in itself. Would certainly recommend this lead and Grooming for prompt shipping.

We bought this leash for our Australian Shepherd. He needs some work to do and plenty of exercise, but we have no nearby enclosed areas for him to run around in. Fortunately, there's a nearby clearing, but we wanted to keep him on a leash for both legal and safety reasons. (There's a street nearby, though it's usually quite calm.)

This 50' lead allows for us to throw the ball a reasonable distance while still holding onto it, or a bit farther while still being able to step on it or grab it if necessary. I think that if I had one comment about it, I'd request a slightly larger clip, but that's only a minor complaint. It fits securely and we don't mind getting it dirty since it's relatively inexpensive and easy to wash.

This is a good training lease. The material dries easy, since my dog loves the water. It is a bit slippery to hold onto and will burn you if the dog runs, so make sure you have a firm hold on the loop at the end.

It was perfect for my mutt. He's quite big and heavy, but this leash was durable enough to handle him. Since he likes to stray too far at times, it was a good thing to have around for walking on trails or exploring wildlife. Very good purchase.

The first time we used this it tore near the middle! Would not recommend! Wouldn't want this to happen at a time you rally needed the dog to be contained.

Premier Pet Come with me Kitty Harness

Premier Pet Come with me Kitty Harness Large Royal BlueI was thrilled to get the Kitty Harness and be able to get our 2 year old tom out of the house. I followed the instructions and he accepted the harness without a problem and on the second day I took him outside. We did this for three more consecutive days without incident because the harness appeared to work as advertised. On the fourth day, we had been outside about 30 minutes when something spooked him and he lunged stretching the leash to full length and he squirmed half way out of the harness. Before I could catch him, he lunged again and got free. That was three weeks ago and we have not seen him since. If you purchase this item, I suggest you adjust it to near strangling tightness.

Excellent!

We live on a busy road, and my Maine Coons are always trying to sneak outside. This is a great product. They are large cats and powerful, yet this leash can hold them.

They wait by the door and get vewry excited when I pull down the "Come with me Kitty" leashes. The male nags me all day until it is time for "walkies". It is a neighborhood oddity though, walking a giant cat

We bought this for our cat when he was a couple of months old and we all love it. The first time we put the harness on him, he did resist. But once he got used to it, he was okay. Next we connected the leash and took him outside. Remember, cats are different than dogs so you have to be patient. We coaxed him along using a long string. Now we take him for walks through our town, to the playground where he can slide down the slide. He has truly become the talk of the town and has even "stopped traffic" literally as people stop and back up to get a second look. No one can believe that a cat will walk on a leash. The leash is a bit short, but we simply attach our dog's leash to it if we want to let the cat explore the yard while we do yard work. It's great. The harness really supports the cat's breastbone in case they jump off something higher than the leash is long. If you use the harness and leash to "tie out" your cat, for your own peace of mind and the safety of your pet, never leave your cat unattended.

I'm glad I bought this particular harness/leash set for my kitten (he's one-eyed and I can't leave him to wander outside on his own)for several reasons. The harness itself seems to be very comfortable to my kitten (no single collar around the neck to choke him when he gets excited and tries to run) and it's adjustable so it will fit him for a good while. I also like the bungee-style leash...he can run (just not too far!) and jump and the leash has enough give to it so he doesn't get strangled or jerked to a sudden stop. It's a little difficult to put on at first if you have a cat in the "chewing" stage but once they get used to it, it's easier to get it on and off.

I bought this harness for my slender cat of barely 9 lbs. He is definitely an average, if not small, cat, when I

compare him to my friends' adult male cats. Yet, the medium adjusted to its loosest setting did not fit him (unless it was really quite tight). The sizing guidelines should be more clear.

Clip-On Weave Wire Guides (for 6-pole weave set)

Clip-On Weave Wire GuidesThese training wires are very nice and on a par with those at the facility where we train. They have been very helpful in training my new agility partner.

Works as advertised, as a training aid teaching my agility partner "go weave!". Although we've been very pleased with everything else we've purchased from affordableagility.com, (practice tire, jumps set, weave poles, etc.), we were disappointed in this clip-on product. The blue clips fixed to the ends of each wire aren't attached at the same angle, so when they're clipped onto their appropriate weave poles, the wires curl and sag. Perhaps it's just the aesthetics of it in the eye of the humans. Our dog seems to be respecting the wires, as intended.

55 ct Gridlock Housebreaking 24" x 24" Wee Wee pads

55 ct Gridlock Housebreaking 24' x 24' Wee Wee padsThey are really sturdy, yet absorbable and dry faster keeping odors at bay. I place them around the cat box and under the litter inside the cat box, since my cat is really old and sometimes doesn't make it to the box.

I also use these at the bottom of my guinea pig cage. My guinea pigs aren't tempted to eat the edges on these like the blue plastic lined wee wee pads.

I ONLY WISH they made a larger size 36" x 36" plus+ for larger areas or larger dogs. We need them for young AND geriatric "roaming" animals.

We have tried every brand and style of these available on the market. These are by far the best. As others have said, they stay flat, their edges are more sturdy and the "moisture" doesn't go through. The best available at any retail store is nowhere near as good as these.

With four dachshunds who cannot be made to go out in the rain (or wind, or cold, or . . . those with doxies understand) no matter what the incentive, we use wee wee pads regularly. These seem to hold more than the others we've tried. Unless it's a very small puppy, the output is more than the other pads can handle. When the pad is wet, the backing doesn't separate from the padding and the wetness is less likely to seep over the edges. They are also sturdier nails, even the cat's, don't shred them into bits. I recommend these over any other brand or style.

I bought this last week for my puppy and it is wonderful, While I waited for the arrival I bought a different brand and I noticed the difference right away. The quality of Gridlock is outstanding. I recommend it.

I have bought a lot of varied pads with varied prices; I find most are flimsier than I want. We have 2 Chis and 1 Shih Tzu, the Shi Tzu, in particular likes to tear the corners for play I guess...she actually respects these and doesn't try that with them. These lay nicely, are so much better constructed and don't leak all the way through as many do. Just wish my local stores carried them as the shipping costs are a bit hefty but when I weigh the cost against the 50 for 13.99 at Wally World, the cost for an excellent product is not too bad (I buy 100 at a time), actually 200 last time as I saved shipping costs by doing so.

I have tried other brands of pads. Gridlock pads stay flat when wet. Other pads tend to "clump" when they are wet. I'll only use gridlock!!!

Dog Dazer II Ultrasonic Dog Deterrent

Dog Dazer II Ultrasonic Dog DeterrentI have two unsocialized and untrained german sheperds that live next door to me. They have been barking and charging the fence at me and my son for the last year. They had completely taken control of my being able to enjoy my yard. Two calls to animal control and talking to their owner did not help. I was at my wits end. I bought the Dazer II and received it within three days. It worked the first time I used it. The dogs immediately turned around and ran to the other side of the yard when I used it. It does not appear to hurt them, but they hate the noise. Probably as much as I hate the noise they make. I have used it on them three times, and my son used it twice. They now associate the noise with me or my son. When they see us in the yard now they will not come near the fence. They just sit quietly and stare. No more barking or charging the fence. I could not be happier! Thank you for enableing me to enjoy my home again.

I saw this product in the SkyMall magazine aboard a United Airlines flight about 3.5 years ago and immediately thought of my neighbors three...count em three...Shelties. Shelties are small collies which are known for barking a lot. Her dogs are the bane of the neighborhood. I've thought about using a bazooka or a hand gernade several times, but figured that might get me in a bit of trouble and didn't seem very humane. Plus, I actually like my neighbor...just not her noisy dogs. When I saw the Dazzer II, I thought "great idea...humane...I hate those dogs...how fast can I get this modern marvel?" Three years ago, this was a very new product and cost $75, but I thought it would be worth the investment just to save my sanity for a few hours.

I got the device and used it from a second story window of my house towards the target Sheltie which was about 25 feet away. I was amazed when all three dogs stopped barking and immediately took off. It seemed to scare them. I was in pure delight...for about 3 days. Every time they would start barking, I'd daze em and they would immediately leave the area. After 3 days, the party ended. They became used to the device. Now, when I daze them, they freak out and start barking MORE...A LOT MORE...spinning around and yapping like they are insane.

This device might be good for people with chance encounters with aggressive dogs (like runners or walkers around neighborhoods), but my experience has been it doesn't work as effectively and consistently as advertised. I've tried it on my Boxers and another neighbor's Lab, and they just stare at me.

Personally, I think this is just an electronic dog whistle. It may work for some dogs, but I'd recommend caution and do a little more research on the product. My experience is this may not work for many dogs. I would not recommend this product.

My neighbor's Chihuahua barks nonstop when they are not at home. From 6:30am until sometimes 10pm. The dog sits at the fence, facing my house and barks the piercing small-dog bark that carries quite a distance. I have canceled outdoor activities countless times over the past year. I had quit enjoying my back patio and working in my garden.

I have driven the five miles to Animal Services repeated times and asked them when they are going to serve the neighbor a citation. Another neighbor and I have filled out formal complaint forms twice. I've phoned Animal Services at least twenty times. At times, the barking is so frustrating that I've called the sheriff's department too. A.S. says, "We're going to take care of that," but nothing gets done. I don't know if they're under-funded or what, but I finally had to take matters into my own hands.

I ordered Dog Dazer II even though I was a bit bitter about having to use money from my tight budget to train someone else's dog, but Dog Dazer works! The Dazer emits a noise that annoys the dog; it doesn't hurt the animal. When the dog started barking at me, I aimed it at the dog and pushed the button while saying "No!" It took a few times before the dog realized that every time he barked, he was going to hear that noise. After only two sessions, the dog has stopped barking.

I now spend all morning outside gardening. I am able to sit on my patio undisturbed for the first time in almost a year. The Chihuahua sits in the sun watching me, but the barking has stopped.

Wow! This thing is great. Our neighbor's black lab goes absolutely crazy when anyone visits and walks down the driveway and if they are contractors working on something he WILL NOT let up. The Dazer arrived this morning and as luck would have it, the garage door repairman arrived an hour later. Right away the dog started going nuts so I zapped him with a short burst and he stopped but started up again. I zapped him again and he stopped barking and looked all around with a puzzled look on his face as if to say "what the heck". He started to bark one more time and the 3rd zap stopped him in his tracks and he retreated to the other side of his yard and didn't bark again. My only regret is that I didn't get one of these a long time ago.

Dog with a big mouth next door was absolutely terrified of this product the first few tries. Actually fell down trying to run backward the first time. Then after a week or so he was less bothered. Now it just sends him into a rage of barking after he backs up about 15 or 20 feet from the fence.

ValuePad 672 23x24 28 gram Bonus Pack Puppy PadsThey are alright for small jobs with dogs. Soak through is a major problem. Look for something thicker, but you get what you pay for.

Since I am a senior now and my wife will soon be in few more years our two newest puppies are trained to go inside as our two oldest both 13+ have been let outside since they were puppies. They will continue to do so till they are gone. But with our two newest puppies we decided it's much more convenient and safer to keep them indoors. As any more with the misquitoes, rabid animals, pet nappers, nasty weather and for our own personal safety we made a large purchase of these puppy pads and will gladly purchase more as needed. We are very pleased with our purchase and will buy from the same seller as long we are still here!
