The two organizations that I am familar with the standard is 24" between poles. The two sets I purchased are 20" between poles.
The quality of the product is good, but the spacing of the petsafe will not allow the speed neccesary to really train for competition. Thank You

Buy PetSafe Agility Weave Poles Now
I teach Canine Good Citizenship and my students always want an advanced class. So I decided to get some "light" agility equipment. We have a great time with the PetSafe equipment. This is not competition equipment, but for training and play. These pieces are easy to assemble and disassemble. Are actually very sturdy and well put together. And most of allthe price is right!I was really excited to try this out with my border collie rescue. However, the "portable" aspect means they don't stay together well. My already nervous dog bumps into them when he is weaving and knocks them over, making him nervous about the poles. I wish I had spent a bit more money to buy a better set.I had a little trouble doing this myself, but the dogs loved it. First time I lured them with a treat, now they like to show off. I have two large German Shepards and a Ridgeback and it was a bit tight for them but I was able to add some longer pieces of pvc to further the poles a bit. Easy to move about so I can mow and disassembles with ease. Perfect for me, my dogs are in better shape than myself.
