I personally try to avoid dog collars or leads with plastic parts. I made an exception with this leash because even if the plastic adjuster breaks the leash would be an intact 6' leash. The padding where you hold this leash is extremely soft and comfortable and is the same kind of padding in many of Kakadu's collars. The price is right. The webbing is very soft and appears to be of a very good quality. If only it came in purple to match the dog's padded collar also from Kakadu. Note: Kakadu is an Australian manufacturer.

I have a 13# jack russell. The clip on this leash is almost as big as she is. :)

That said, i LOVE this leash. it adjusts easily, but stays in place and is incredibly durable. I will order this again, maybe in another color.
