I got this leash because my nearly 60 pound lab/pit mix dog (Daisy) nearly pulled my arm out of its socket at times with the longer leash we had bought. This leash allows me to keep better control over her, and since it is shorter, Daisy stays near my side. It's a sturdy leash, and I love the easy on clasp feature. I just have to slap it against her collar ring, and it clips right on without any trouble. The handle is nice and large so I can put my arm through it. Also, there is room on the leash for my "Bags on Board" dispenser. It is extremely important to pick up after one's dog when walking around, and so being able to use the dispenser on this leash makes cleaning up very convenient.
