Little Stinker Housebreaking Pads 100 Pk

This is the best wee wee pad on the market, bar none. We have tried different ones over the last 8 months and always come back to this brand. These pads are the thickest and the most absorbent and our dog actually prefers them to the other brands (sounds crazy but it isnt). With these pads she uses the whole pad; with others she goes on the edges. Because these are thicker and more absorbent, my floor never gets wet from leakage like other pads. Although these are a little more expensive, they are worth it. Our dog is an indoor dog because we live in a walk up and it is too difficult to keep going down and up the stairs so this is her bathroom and they are wonderful never an odor. Of course, our dog is a 4 pound Yorkie.

The skinnier one is plenty strong enough for just about any dog. Might want to use the wider one on a dog that is so big and strong s/he wouldn't otherwise know s/he was on a leash.

Red Dingo Dog Lead, Small, Orange

I was attracted to these leads for their good quality nylon. They are supple and oh so strong. The second attraction was the big choice of colors. When you have a few dogs like I do, individual lead/collar by colors become important.

After using these leads/collars for several months, they have yet to fail me.

A negative point about the design is when several leads are held together, they tend to knot easily at the loop end. I think the problem lies in the change of material, when the lead ends with nylon & the handlers loop, of a much softer material.

out of the 3 leashes we have hanging near the door, this is the one I use for longer walks. It adjustable so to keep my dog closer durning the walk and get be let out longer (adjustable luggage style strap) so when it's her time to sniff around. Oh, and I love the comfy handle.

Does not have an option for a beep while running and then a hawk scream while on point. Beeper collar is very loud. I had to stuff the speaker with cotton balls and cover with tape. Overall good quality , but really wanted the beep while running and the hawk scream on point. Have not been able to see where this is available.

Spotty Potty Trainer Bells and Bags

Only wish it was a bit longer. Deliver took a little longer than I would have liked, but I loved that it came with a little poopy bag carrier for when I take my dogs on walks. Didn't realized it came with that.

This is a good length fabric with several bells to make potty training easy. The dogs barely have to touch it to get my attention and I let them out. It is sturdy and has stood up to heavy use.

It took about a week for my dog to learn to ring it. Sometimes she rings it because she knows her friends are outside but i know when she rings it because she needs to potty. Its great! Its not too quiet but it doesnt ring forever after she shakes it. I used the bag holder as a treat holder because it zips all the way closed. too bad she got a hold of it and ripped it to shreds. oh well! great product!!

This item was poorly made the snap that holds the strap to the door came off in my hand upon opening. Not sure who decided to put a snap on this item in the first place they don't hold up to sheering forces well at all (like a dog yanking on it). Velcro is needed badly here!

I ended up tying it to the door handle with a simple knot. It works fine and the dog started getting the hang of it in a matter of days just beware of the quality here!

My puppy got the hang of it in 2 days! She does it all the time now. I've stopped using the pads.

The only complaint would be that the bells aren't loud enough. It works if you are on the same floor but i cant hear it upstairs.

But I would still buy the product. Its affrodable and works. I'm thinking of getting a louder bell and hanging it along with these bells.

I would reccomend it.

Green-Um Treats - 70 gm - For Dogs & Cats

I have used the treat version for a few years now and think they do a good job. Our dogs (smaller sized) love them.

We tried all the grass protective brands, and we found that greenums work best for our dog and our lawn. The treat form is the easiest to administer to a dog who doesn't like pills. He really likes greenums they're like a little treat before breakfast and dinner. And, oddly enough, the treats are cheaper (per day) than the pills. Good deal.

Edit: My dog likes this brand and they are highly effective, but on my last purchase, the treats reeked of rancid oils. They were within the expiration date, so they were either a defective batch or they had been stored improperly.

I had done my research on Sport Dog products and Ive been very happy thus far. I own the Sport Dog 400 collar system. We have used one of these before on a larger Newfie mix with some success. We adopted a three-year old Lab mix and this form of lead was more troublesome than helpful. So, I guess it can work with some dogs but definitely is not a cure all solution.

After trying dog obedience classes without any success, we purchased the Multivet Spray Commander for our black lab/rat terrier mix. The results were immediate. It's a little tricky to get into the swing of training and our dog slumped around like we had beaten her for the first couple of days. One of our biggest challenges with her is that she became aggressive toward other animals and very territorial. Within a week of using this product, she no longer constantly harasses our ferret. She's also decided that the cat is her friend and not her enemy. Last night they were actually curled up together on the couch sleeping. Before using the Spray Commander this would have *never* happened.

The main thing in using this for training is that you have to be consistent. Remember to always reward good behavior and to never fail to correct bad behavior. Also, the only reason I can't give it five stars is that the remote is a little touchy. Keeping it on hand is one thing, keeping it in your pocket is quite another. I've accidentally sprayed her a couple of times when she's done nothing wrong. Needless to say, she got extra belly rubs and lovins for my mistakes. Also, the collar tends to loosen itself without some fancy threading through the buckle.

I'd only recommend the citronella scent for outdoor training. It's a really strong scent and a little much for inside training. I'm sure it will be great this summer though. Some spritzing around the camper this summer should keep the mosquitoes away. (When the collar is off the dog, of course!)

The product arrived defective. It just plain didn't work.

I contacted the manufacturer, who ignored all requests. They told me twice that they would send me return information, and it never came. I even gave them a fax number.

This Amazon seller is even worse. They take forever to ship the product out, and wanted me to pay return shipping to Canada myself because their product was defective.

Stay away. As far away as you can. Buy another product, especially one from a different manufacturer or seller.

I'm very happy with my Multivet Spray Commander. It's a great training tool for my 7mo.old puppy. I also have an older dog and a cat. When the puppy gets into one of my other pets food or space I just use the remote to give her a warning beep to stop her inappropriate behavior and she usually stops, but if she continues I press the spray button on the remote and she stops her bad behavior immediately. I really like this product because it is very versitable and humane. It can also be used to stop her from barking, begging, getting on furniture, etc. This product has been very effective for me and I would highly recommend it.

J'ai acheté le collier Spray commander pour mon Labrador de 5 mois et je ne le regrette pas. Je devais lui dire "non", relever la plante, lui dire "non" encore, ramasser la terre avec le balai, lui dire "non lâche le balai", lui enlever la terre de la bouche, lui dire "non, donne le porte poussière", aller le reconduire au tapis et lui dire de rester, revenir ramasser la terre, lui dire "tapis", remettre la terre dans le pot, ranger le balai et lui dire encore "non" et retourner relever la plante !!!!!! Avec le Spay commander, 2 petits jets ont suffis ! Après seulement un mois et une seule bouteille utilisée le collier est maintenant utilisé 90% du temps au renforcement positif ! Le système Spray commander est à mon avis un outil positif pour le chien et pour le maître lorsqu'utilisé intelligemment. Le seul point négatif: la grosseur du système. Pour mon Labrador je trouve ça gros alors pour un petit chien....

This mat reminds me of those office mats you put under your office chair. One side is smooth and the other is spikey. You place it on your sofa/chair with the spikes up.

My pug, loves to snuggle up on my brand new rocking chair. Since I did not want to use a ScatMat (seems too cruel) and I could not find a similar product small enough for a chair, I purchased the X-Mat. I put the X-Mat on the chair and gently placed the pug's paws on it while saying no (I only had to do this once) and it's worked miracles. She has not jumped up once. She will pull herself up on the edge and look at the chair but will not jump on it. It's such a simple, cheap item, I love it. Very easy to remove when I want to sit. It hasn't happened to me yet, but remember to remove the X-Mat when you want to use the chair. It's pretty spikey.

After owning 3 of these mats for about 5 years now, my cat mocks these. She frequently sits/stands/lays on them (on top of the sofa). She's a pretty fluffy cat, so maybe it's more "massaging" than annoying for her?! They might work for you, but I will not buy again.

This is a very simple and effective solution. Just set it down, and the cats stay away.

One of our cats had a horrible habit of scratching on the front door in the middle of the night. We use Soft Paws, so she did't do any damage to the door or the paint, but the sound was loud enough to wake us up. We were so desperate that we started putting chairs in front of the door before going to bed. Eventually, we realized we needed to drape a blanket across the back of the chairs so that she couldn't scrtatch from underneath. Then we started putting pillows in the seats so she couldn't reach above the chair backs. The point of all this, in case you're wondering, is that this cat was very persistant.

Then a veterinarian friend told us about the X-Mat. Now instead of creating an elaborate blocade in front of the doors each night, we just put two X-Mats down side by side. They span the width of the door, and our cat stays away. We've been sleeping through the night ever since.

If we have one complaint, it's that the X-Mat sticks up too high to stay in place when we open the door. But moving the mats each night is a lot easier than any other solution we've found.

Elite Little Dog In-Ground Fence Receiver Collar

Though I agree with the other reviewers that battery life is short on this collar, it is nonetheless an extraordinary system! We have 2 beagles who are escape artists and rather stubborn and this system works fantastic for them! Training was a breeze both dogs figured it out quickly, even when we extended their area after 4 months of use. It's been now about 7 months that we have the system and couldn't be happier! We can rest assured that our pets are safe when we are away at work during the day.

For the batteries I read about this trick. Reuse the battery casing and just remove the little battery that is inside. I get replacements online for 4 batteries including shipping for about $8. That is a sweet deal! Look for "3V Lithium Battery 2L76 CR1/3 N 1/3N" batteries you can find them as cheap as $1.50 a piece. I simply removed the little plastic ringlet on the bottom of the casing that kept the battery in place, removed the battery, inserted the new one, and voila! Works like magic and is even easier to fit into the collar without the extra piece.

Don't let the other reviews about the batteries discourage you from using this great system. I highly recommend it.

The collar has a great design and worked great on our small dog for about a month; however, the company placed a flashing light on the model which eats the battery in about a month. The replacement batteries are specially made by the company to fit the collar and run about $10.00. Therefore, once you buy the collar to keep the collar operating for your dog you are looking at spending about $120 a year. The company has a slightly larger collar that does not have the flashing light that we use on our other small dog. Those batteries are also specially made by the company, but the battery lasts quite some time (over a year). Although our other dog is bright and once he got popped a time or two does not come near the boundaries. I wish I would have never bought this product.

I've had one of these on our little dog for 3 months now and have gone through 3 batteries. The dog gets close enough to the fence to make the collar beep maybe once a week at the most, and the dog is smart so it has only been shocked a couple of times.

You've been warned.. if you buy one of these you'll most likely be spending $100/year on batteries. You can hack the little battery holder apart and put in a standard CR-1/3N battery and save about $2/month, but it's not easy cutting the battery holder apart. I'm looking for a small 3v rechargeable battery I can sneak in there.

I got this leash because my nearly 60 pound lab/pit mix dog (Daisy) nearly pulled my arm out of its socket at times with the longer leash we had bought. This leash allows me to keep better control over her, and since it is shorter, Daisy stays near my side. It's a sturdy leash, and I love the easy on clasp feature. I just have to slap it against her collar ring, and it clips right on without any trouble. The handle is nice and large so I can put my arm through it. Also, there is room on the leash for my "Bags on Board" dispenser. It is extremely important to pick up after one's dog when walking around, and so being able to use the dispenser on this leash makes cleaning up very convenient. I usually buy Simple Solutions Small Sized for up to 15 pounds and waist size of 9 to 13 inches. They fit super well, but cost more, so I wanted to try the Alfie belly band. When I got them they looked super cute. Nicely made, but I noticed they looked way to small without even trying them on. The measurements that is listed Small, Waist 10.5 12.5 inches (4" Wide) which is only 1/2 inch smaller than simple solutions. Simple solutions allow 2 inches of valcro to overlap and Alfie only allow for an 18th of an in valcro to over lap, which is not enough to hold the wrap together. Since it is a size problem I would have to pay for return shipping even though I ordered the right size according to the measurements they had listed. Anyway buy a bigger size if you were going to order them.

This product, the dog tweeter, does not work. I was using it on my 5 month old doberman/Australian sheep dog and the noise did not bother him at all. The noise is not very loud and it doesn't seem to bother the dog when it sounds.

This product does nothing that I can see, the dog does not respond to the whistle.My dog appears to not notice this whistle,and it takes a lot of pulling to get it to whistle and is not at all loud.

Put it on my dog to take her to the dogpark and before we got in the gate it fell apart and my dog was off on her own. Thankfully was able to get her before she got to far, but this item is a piece of junk. Not recommended.
