It's pretty hard to find a good deal on a large size dog house that matches the decor in your yard. This one hit the spot. It is all natural wood that looks and feels great. It comes in pieces in a box and all you have to do is screw them together. The screws have pre-drilled holes so you can't make mistakes. I gave this a four stars instead of five because the wood could have been a little thicker, and it could have had some water proofing/shingles for the roof. The floor is raised off the ground to keep your pet dry, but they don't mention that he legs are adjustable to keep the house level. Each leg has a plastic covered screw that allows you to adjust its height. Overall this is a great dog house for a large breed dog like a Yellow Lab.

This is a relatively light weight but sound structure. Clean lines and natural material blends well outside. Passed the pet litmus test the dog and cats like it and use it a lot. I'd rather have a slightly smaller opening as I suspect it will allow rain in, but haven't had it long enough to test. If so, I can put a shelter over it easily. The weather here in Sacramento is a good match for this structure. The dog uses it even in hot weather as the wood floor is very good thermal barrier. I'm very pleased with this product as I did my homework and this is a good fit. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the material is fairly light. On the flip side, lighter weight is a plus as it is easy to move.

We have this on my covered porch, which can get some wind blown rain. I don't know how well it would stand up to full exposure of elements. The roof is made so water won't leak. The legs are a nice touch to keep it up off the wet surface. Very easy to put together, like an Ikea shelf, especially with a power screw driver. Has a nice woodsy, cabiny look to it. I'd buy it again.

This dog house really does look great, which is important for our HOA (no igloos allowed). It took about 15 minutes to unbox and assemble, and it seems to be good quality. I really like the adjustable feet for uneven surfaces. I'm giving it 4 stars now because I don't know how it will stand up to the elements, but if it's still in good shape next year, I'll update.

Our dog loves this bed as much as we do! She loves sleeping on the fleece side and even goes in her cage on her own since we got this particular crate pad! It is also odor-free! Spotty Potty Trainer Bells and Bags

Only wish it was a bit longer. Deliver took a little longer than I would have liked, but I loved that it came with a little poopy bag carrier for when I take my dogs on walks. Didn't realized it came with that.

This is a good length fabric with several bells to make potty training easy. The dogs barely have to touch it to get my attention and I let them out. It is sturdy and has stood up to heavy use.

It took about a week for my dog to learn to ring it. Sometimes she rings it because she knows her friends are outside but i know when she rings it because she needs to potty. Its great! Its not too quiet but it doesnt ring forever after she shakes it. I used the bag holder as a treat holder because it zips all the way closed. too bad she got a hold of it and ripped it to shreds. oh well! great product!!

This item was poorly made the snap that holds the strap to the door came off in my hand upon opening. Not sure who decided to put a snap on this item in the first place they don't hold up to sheering forces well at all (like a dog yanking on it). Velcro is needed badly here!

I ended up tying it to the door handle with a simple knot. It works fine and the dog started getting the hang of it in a matter of days just beware of the quality here!

My puppy got the hang of it in 2 days! She does it all the time now. I've stopped using the pads.

The only complaint would be that the bells aren't loud enough. It works if you are on the same floor but i cant hear it upstairs.

But I would still buy the product. Its affrodable and works. I'm thinking of getting a louder bell and hanging it along with these bells.

I would reccomend it.

Tri-Tronics Sport Combo G3 Training Collar

This collar is a fantastic aid for training dogs, as long as you read the manual. It is imperative that you know what you are doing and only utilize the stimulation in appropriate conditions. I also advise testing out the stimulation levels on your arm so you know what kind of shock your dog is getting on their neck. I appreciate the extra levels because I never want to use too much power, but the operation of this particular transmitter can take some getting used to. You want to find a stimulation level that gets your dogs attention, but the dog SHOULD NOT yelp or even make any noise. (The manual for the old one suggested that after your dog was used to wearing the collar on and off for two weeks with no stimulation you can hide somewhere out of sight and test the lowest level of stimulation. If their ears perk up, or they cock their head, then you have a baseline.)

As for the product itself, this COMBO model's transmitter is a little more confusing than the BASIC or UPLAND models, as it has more levels of stimulation (and as such one more dial on the front.) My older model had just two buttons and a single dial. In this case, the added complexity coincides with added features, and as such, is excusable. As with my previous Tri-Tronics collar, it is basically bulletproof. You can submerge it, take it to the beach, do whatever you want to it, and it will keep on working.

One gripe is that the transmitter is not rechargeable instead it takes 9v batteries but some people might prefer that, so it is not worth taking off a star. All told, I highly recommend this collar on the condition that you take it upon yourself to learn how to use it properly. If you use it responsibly, you will see marked results. (If you do not, you will have a scared dog that simply stands next to you in terror when you put the collar on...)

This training collar allowed my six year old son to connect with a dog I have had for nearly a year and he had been scared to death of! In just a thirty minute session they were hanging out with each other like best friends. Our female border collie had a terrible habit of jumping up on him, tearing his clothes and painfully scratching. All is gone with this collar. Extramely humane when used correctly. Even the dog seems to have a happier outlook now that she understands her boundaries.

As far as theproduct itself, the transmitter and recieving collar are rugged and well made. Made in USA too!

Jumped in the lake with the Sport Combo still attached to my belt. As this is a primary tool for retriever training and states that it is waterproof, I find it completely unacceptable that the unit allowed enough water into the transmitter to corrode the battery and short the internal electronics.

I give three stars because it did work as advertised in all other areas. It deserves a HUGE knock because many hunters use this product in environments where the unit will be continuously submerged, as all retrievers are water dogs and wherever the dog goes, the owners are close by. I only had the unit for one day, it had not been knocked around, and I even purchased the protective carrying case for it for about $15.

I contacted Tri Tronics and they stated that the transmitter was waterproof but should not be submerged for long periods of time. They immediately shipped a replacement transmitter to me and said that a return package for the damaged transmitter would be enclosed in the box that the replacement would come in.

I recently purchased the Sport Combo G3 collar from my breeder/trainer. Now my dog was trained for 2 months by the trainer before my picking her up and using this collar. I first must say, that my puppy before training and after training was a complete 180. This definitely gave me the head start I needed. Over the past few days, I have been using the G3 collar (only when necessary however keeping it on her most of the time). Most of the time she will react with a simple "no", as she knows what the consequences are. I use one of the lowest settings (which I have applied to myself first), which seems to do the trick. I think that these collars, when used correctly (and not abusively) make a big difference in the training of one's dog.

It has the ability to train 3 dogs at once (a feature I don't use), but is also water proof (which will be nice when at the dog beach or any other wet weather).

Update (04/01/2013)

I have now had this collar for over 6 months and still love it. I have it on my lab all of the time (whether I need to use it or not)., except when I have to leave her or when she goes to sleep for the night. It seems that just having the collar on has an effect on my dogs behavior. It has really resulted in so much more freedom for her. I take her in the car on multiple occasions, and take her to the park at night and dog beach (which being waterproof is a great feature) as well. She is very well behaved off leash, and will remain in a sit positions when other dogs approach until I let her know its ok to run over to them. However, she was initially trained by the breeder. I would never have another lab without one if these.

I got the liners for my French Bulldog babies...it seems to have worked alright for the first use (Keeping the urine from seeping to the floor underneath) then after you wash the liner a couple of times it NO longer absorbs the urine and keeps it from soaking your floor under it. For the price...I would not recommend this product. If you need something for a ONE time use...then it would be great. The one thing that I did like about the liner's is: it really does "stick" to the floor.

I bought this collar because our dog is an escape artist from his collar and we needed something that could be easily adjusted. The collar is also very thick and strong so the dogs have yet to chew completely through them, they did chew the ends off but did not effect the collars performance at all.

Innotek Rechargeable In-Ground Pet Fencing System

I installed this around my house for my 2 small dogs. The installation was easy as I had an edger to cut a line in the grass and used a shovel to cut into the ground at an angle, then lifted the ground and shoved the wire in. Although I only used about 3/4 of the roll of wire, there were not enough flags so I had to buy extra flags at a local pet store. If you have any kind of sizable area (5000 sq. ft or more), the wire may be enough, but think about ordering EXTRA FLAGS.

Installation and hooking up to the control unit was relatively easy and took about 4 hours with edging, wire installation, and flag insertion. I installed the fence in a "square" area around my property, crossing my driveway at an expansion joint (concrete driveway). The control unit is mounted in my garage.

I'm currently training according to the included CD, which is a critical part of successfully using this type of fence. The collar unit is just the right size for my 15lb shihtzu, but is slightly big for my 9lb chihuahua...I wish they made more streamlined/smaller collar units that work with this system, but after reading reviews of other systems and how often batteries had to be replaced (proprietary, nonetheless), I thought having rechargable collars would be much more convenient.

I ordered this package and also an additional collar since I have 2 dogs. The collar that came with the package was DOA, but the extra collar I ordered worked right out of the box, even though it was low on charge. The instructions stated to charge the collar for at least 14hrs initially. I had the defective collar on the charger for almost 20 hours, and it would not take a charge (green light didn't blink on the defective collar, but working collar was blinking red indicating low charge). I reported this to Amazon, and they sent out another whole package with next day delivery at no charge, and I swapped out the collars. Thanks Amazon, although you could have just sent out an extra collar package and I could have swapped it with that instead, saving you on shipping costs!

What could be better?

1. More flags

2. Containment area setting (how close to the wire before collars "fire") isn't very precise...at minimum the collar will fire 2-3" from the wire, anything more than minimum setting it will fire 12" from the wire...not very precise.

3. More streamlined collars/smaller units

4. Only 2 settings for shock level...low is too low, high is too high (I tested it on myself, not my dogs since we're only training without shocks at this time).

5. Installation instructions could be more descriptive.

With that said, for the price, this system is a pretty complete package and installation should be easy for those do-it-yourself types.

Here's the deal with this product...I think it would work OK, but only under certain conditions. First, you have to have the time and patience to train your dog not to go near the boundary. Of course, if you can do that, you might not need this system at all. The second thing is, if you dog has a thick coat, this product may not work. Even after ordering the longer contacts specifically designed for long-haired dogs, it was still hit or miss. And...if your dog runs at the boundary, he or she can easily run right through the shock zone. No matter what the company says, the system simply cannot respond quick enough to beat a fast dog to the punch. Again, all of this could probably be eliminated if you have a very trainable breed. If you have a breed that is very independent minded, such as the dogs we have, I suggest putting up an old-fashioned fence...which I'll be doing this weekend.

This system works great. My dog tried to out smart me by running past the boundary but I reworked the fence so she would have to pass the boundary wire 3 times to escape. She doesn't think being shocked 3 times is worth leaving our property anymore. The rechargeable collars are great. I had this system 4 years now and still love it.

This version of a wire in the ground invisible fence system is easy to install. It could even be used, connected to the bottom of an existing fence, to train a dog not to dig out under a fence. The hardest part of installation is digging a very thin line in the ground about two inches deep to place the wire antenna around the property you wish to secure. The instructions are very clear as to how to connect all the parts.

It also has a nice number of adjustments to vary the strength and size of the boundary field and the strength of the correction.

The instructional DVD is excellent. It's clear, concise and to the point. As a retired veterinarian, I cannot emphasize strongly enough just how important it is to train your dog correctly from the beginning. If you follow the training instructions completely, you will succeed. If you don't, you will fail and will have wasted your money. 'Nuff said.

There is an advantage to having a rechargeable collar in that an owner can just recharge the unit overnight and does not have to chase all over looking for a specialized replacement battery. Unfortunately, this particular system has the collar recharger as an integral part of the central control unit. Since most of us install the system in an out-of-the-way corner of the garage, it becomes inconvenient to faithfully recharge the collar. However, it must be said a dog who is completely trained with this system might be permitted out in the yard without the collar or with a dead battery and may be trained well enough to stay within the limits of the system anyway. I've done that with my own dog, but, I do periodically send her out with a fully charged collar to "retrain" her.

One last comment, please remember this device will train your dog to stay within the boundary you choose. Unlike a real fence, IT CANNOT KEEP AN ANIMAL OR PERSON INTENT ON DOING YOUR DOG HARM OUT OF YOUR YARD.

Putting the wire beneath the ground was A LOT of work, but now that it's done, we're glad. Changes I would make include:

(1)Stronger flags--ours were plastic and broke when we had to keep moving them (every time someone mowed the lawn, they got mown over or moved).

(2)When you are testing where you hear the signal so that you can put the flags down, you get a signal at different places each time you try. For example, I tested, found my spot, put a flag down; did the whole front yard this way. When I re-tested, or checked myself, the signal would sound at a different spot--even a foot forward or backward of the previous spot. And it's not just me; my son just said the same thing two days ago, when testing so he could fix the wire, and we've had this fence in for 5 months!

(3)Higher shock levels? Our German shepherd SO FAR is scared of the shock, but there is one corner of the yard--I don't know if it's the snow pile or what--but he runs through and gets out. Now we've put a snow fence there to stop him. SO FAR.

Price was OK; charging the battery goes well (although I wish it didn't take 14 hours, for the dog's sake, because we have to coop him up on the deck!); and otherwise--until our dog figures it out--the fence is working fine.

COMMENTS ADDED JULY 28, 2012: I am now getting the product ready to sell. Our tough German Shepherd got through it too many times, and finally it was no use. We had to put up a REAL fence. And he's getting through that, too--pushing through the bottom. So we have to try to correct that...!

3 Pocket Training Apron

I do commercial fleet washing and have to carry up to 40 keys to different vehicles at a time. Some of our customer locations are pretty large. I needed an apron that was large enough to carry a ring of keys and have a pocket to put them in after I park each vehicle, plus a pocket for other things like a pen, my notebook, etc. This fit the bill. I love the hook too. Because the pockets are a little on the small side, I am able to hook my key ring on the hook and it works very well.

This product is durable enough to last a long time. The clasp is tough too! The only warning I have is DO NOT pick up the apron by the belt if it is open-it will pull completely out of the apron!

I definately suggest this product to everyone who needs a durable apron.

Wee-Wee Diaper Garment

Our Jack Russell Mags uses this when it's that time. It stays on her pretty well. She hated wearing it at first and would stick her but up at us to take it off. We kept it on her and it stays on her pretty good. She's a pretty active dog and our other Jack keeps trying to steal it. Anyway, I recommend it if you can find it for about 15 bucks. It'll stay pretty good if you get the right size. Mags is about 20 lbs and is a parson jack russell terrier. We use the medium for her. Fits pretty good.

My little rescue yorkie is having a hard time pottie training. I tried diapers they don't fit right; i tried other bloomers; they don't fit right; these fit her perfectly. She is 6.3 lbs and the XSmall works great. Very easy to put on. The velcro tabs on both sides are an excellent solution to making these fit. I put in a maxi pad for absorption. She fidgeted when i put them on at first but after a few days of getting used to having these on, she's now comfortable with them. My mom has an elderly teacup poodle who also had this problem. Her poodle is 5 lbs and I gave her 3 of these in X Small. They fit her teacup poodle great. Be sure to get the Four Paws Wee Wee. There is another brand that looks like these but they run much larger and do not fit as well.

I bought 1 for my Service Dog for when she is in heat, I buy Feminine Hygiene pads (Poise) & use them with this bladder control garment for doggy heat & it works like a charm, only problem was that when it was in the wash my doggy had to be locked in the bathroom until the laundry was done so I bought an extra. The only Con is the sewing does not hold up well with repeated washing's & Velcro is cheap & wears out after about 6 to 9 months but I can sew & its not a problem & I plan to buy more.

We bought one of these and put them on our front door. We followed the directions for days, weeks, months! But still (its been almost a year) our dog doesn't voluntarily ring the bell when she needs to go outside.

We can say "outside! Ring the bells!" and she runs over to the door and rings the bells and gets all excited cause she knows we are going outside. Yet she will NEVER ring them on her own! I have tried putting peanut butter on the bells to get her to go up to them on her own and then took her outside, but still she wouldn't do it again. We have tried to reward her with treats (she is a pound dog so she is very food oriented) and she happily rings the bell on command but will not do it on her own.

We still use them, consistently, as the package says EVERY time we take her outside. Either these Poochie Bells don't work or our dog just doesn't understand the concept. "Ring Bells. Go Outside". Even when she has had an upset tummy she has not rung the bells! I would love any insight...

These beds are overall pretty nice. The demensions seem a little off for the standard wire dog kennel but the one I ordered was only about an inch smaller than my kennel so my dog didn't seem to mind and slept well overall. I like that there are several colors to choose from as well. Shipping took a long time as they said it was on backorder which was somewhat annoying but I wasn't in a hurry to get it so it ended up not being that big of deal.

The harness seems to be very well built, there are 3 rings to attach a lead from, one on the top and one on each side. It's just slightly too big for her though, even when tightened up as far as it goes. She's just over a year, and around 40lbs, I know she'll grow into it eventually. It has padding in every area that would rub on a dog, and she seems to love it. Had the harness for several weeks now, and I'm very satisfied.

This works great for my dog as a preventative, he peed in it once and that was during a really bad storm. We've been using it for about a month maybe two and that was the only mishap. If however, your dog will pee with a wrap on its not the best...it did leak all the way through though it might work for just a little pee. I like that the material is soft and he can move in it but he really doesn't like it. Overall it works for me, its done the job of stopping him marking in the house and doesn't irritate his skin. It is well made and super adjustable so i can leave it loose and i can just throw the whole thing in the wash.

I ordered a similar harness a couple of years ago for my little Yorkie. It fit perfectly. In an attempt to purchase a replacement, I tried this product only to discover that it has a very wide neck section that, no matter what size I order, is just too wide and therefore rides too high on the neck of the animal. The chest adjustment is too small on the size small and too large on the size medium. My vet. assures me that the problem is not the dog! She couldn't get them to fit either!

PoochPad PoochPant Male Wrap

I have an elderly incontinent dog, so I have tried several male wraps. This one is definitely the best in that the fabric provides more protection against leaking through. Be aware, however, that the sizes do not correspond to the sizing chart. I have a 17-pound Westie, and he needs a medium when his coat is cut short. As he gets closer to grooming time (longer coat), it is almost impossible to close the medium around him.

I love the pads made by poochpads and use them with the plastic tray for one of my female dogs. I tried the female poochpad pants and found them so stiff they were not an option. Thus, I never bothered trying the male version. With five males who mark like crazy I have used cloth male wraps which require an incontinence pad with their heavy piddling. That works, though the material does get wet.

Recently looking online the pictures of the male wrap looked less stiff so I tried one and like it fine. It does get soggy with my males when they are in them for several hours inside but they dry and can be reused a couple of times before I wash them along with the cloth type wraps.

I plan to get a couple more of the poochpad wraps just to eliminate the need to keep buying the drugstore incontinence pads to put into the cloth wraps.

The elastic edges concern me some for the comfort level for the dog and nothing I have tried so far is ideal but this product is a good compromise and the quality of the Poochpad products is quite good.

My black lab-mix was recently paralyzed and tends to "leak" on occasion. The PoochPads work WAY better than the Simple Solution male wrap I initially purchased at a pet retailer. The PoochPads absorb a LOT of urine and stay in place quite well. If your pet needs a little protection, definitely choose this brand.

Suggestion to future customers avoid putting your product in the dryer because of shrinkage. I found that air drying was best.

I previous had another product but this product is much better. The Velcro is strong so the dog cannot easily tear it off. I also have not had any problems with leakage. I have been very satisfied with this product.

Nice product that these are waterproof for my incontinent dog but the medium was too small and the large was too big, so I could not use either. They need more sizes.....
