This 10 oz bag is huge, 12" x 10" x 4", and it seems to last forever. You get so much because the product is dried, light as air, so it takes a lot of the treats to make ten ounces.

I am so happy to find treats that are dried, but have the dog-appeal of moist jerky treats. My dogs are quite spoiled, they turn up their nose at any kind of crunchy dog treat, until now. This is the first dry treat they have ever gotten excited about. And boy, do they get excited. I have 3 dogs, and when I open up the bag their eyes bulge, they quiver and quake....they cannot wait to get these treats! My smallest dog who is usually quite timid, nearly took my fingers off.

The treats are easy to snap into whatever size you need, and they don't leave a greasy mess anywhere.

I am delighted they are made in the USA!!! I stopped buying any China-made treats due to concerns for my dog's health. When shopping, be sure to check not only who is distributing, but where the product is made, and where the meat comes from. It's usually in tiny print on the bottom of the back of the bag, unless they are made in USA-that is usually proudly stamped on front.

The bag says these lamb lungs are at least 72% protein, 6% fat, 2% fiber and 10% moisture. All natural, no artifical colors, flavors, or preservatives. They come from Merrick Pet Care in Amarillo, TX. Merrick has been in business making dog treats for more than 20 years. I am delighted to give them my repeat business!

I ordered the Merrick lamb lung treats on the advice of a dog agility friend who had great success with them. My dog has been blowing her contacts in agility trials, and my friend suggested using these special treats ONLY when training the dog walk, A-frame, table, and see-saw. After just two training sessions, my dog is once again racing to the contacts and sticking them. My fingers are crossed that this behavior will carry over to the trials, but with the help of a clicker and these apparently very appealing treats, I'm seeing renewed confidence and enthusiasm. They're expensive, but are a bargain compared to the wasted trial entry fees and travel costs. I'm also going to use them as I begin very basic obedience training with our new rescue dog.

Our 170# Landseer Newfoundland is crazy for these! They're large, so I usually break them up and put in a baggie for the car so they'll last longer. The problem that people are having is in all likelihood due to user error. I made that same error because I read the reviews of other buyers and just assumed that what they wrote was accurate. The problem that they, and I, had is that they didn't read the product instructions. The collar and barrier look simple enough that you'd expect them to be plug and play, but they are not. You have to program the barrier to signal the collars. I suggest reading the instructions before buying new batteries as they have some good stuff in there that could be quite useful if you have multiple dogs. I have 2 dogs and one of them thinks of the furniture as his own to lay on or eat as he sees fit. Not anymore. The product doesn't work as advertised, it works better. The dogs remember the "correction" after only one go and if you move the barrier, they may not know the new spot, but they will remember that beeping sound that comes before the "correction" and will immediately turn around. It gets my stamp of approval.

I got this product for my cats to keep them out of my finished basement. It works very well when the collars are on the cats. I had them on for a month. However, the cats are stubborn and go back to their old ways when the collars are removed. It is something that I will have to repeat wear on them.

This worked great for our scotty dog but was a dismal failure for our Husky mutt. The prongs aren't long enough to reach through the fur of the Husky. This was the dog who keeps sneaking upstairs and peeing in my sons room on the carpet.

I used this product to keep the cats out of the kitchen. When it worked it did a good job. After about three days the batteries started dying. I changed the batteries and found a broken piece which secured the batteries to the reciever. The reciever never worked after the batteries were changed. You get what you paid for and I got a cheaply made reciever.

I got the liners for my French Bulldog babies...it seems to have worked alright for the first use (Keeping the urine from seeping to the floor underneath) then after you wash the liner a couple of times it NO longer absorbs the urine and keeps it from soaking your floor under it. For the price...I would not recommend this product. If you need something for a ONE time use...then it would be great. The one thing that I did like about the liner's is: it really does "stick" to the floor.

I won't rant and rave about the benefits and drawbacks of using a headcollar each dog is different and responds differently to various training tools, and I'm assuming that you've found this product based off your own research and recommendations from trainers and friends.

The hard part is deciding which headcollar type to use. In the past decade, I've used several different headcollars, including the Halti, the Gentle Leader, the Petmate AKC Headcollar, and the Holt. In my opinion, the Holt is the sturdiest, most comfortable, and most flexible headcollar of the whole bunch, and is a worthy successor to my previous favorite, the Halti.

The Halti was, previously, the best halter for a very simple reason: it had side-straps on either side of the dog's face that prevented the noseband from riding up a dog's face and digging into the dog's eyes. It also worked without cinching the dog's mouth shut, like the Gentle Leader. However, the noseband was not padded, and while I made my own homemade padding for the noseband, it was at least very wide to prevent the material from biting into the dog's skin (unlike the Gentle Leader). The Halti generally came only in black, though colors could be found online. The Halti, despite being designed to function loose (and allowing a dog the full use of its mouth), often made your dog look "vicious" by wearing a "muzzle", particularly in the black color. Prior to the holt, this was the most comfortable.

HALTI PROS: comfort, looseness, prevents noseband from riding up, safety buckle connects to collar

HALTI CONS: limited colors, no padded noseband, can not be cinched tight for short-nose breeds

Gentle Leader Head Collar, Size: Small, Color: Royal Blue

The Gentle Leader, however, was the choice for short-nosed breeds. The Halti suffered when a shorter-snouted dog pawed at the noseband to remove it. The Gentle Leader's design cinched the dog's mouth closed with a locking mechanism, allowing it to be used snugly on short-nosed breeds. For standard-shaped noses, the cinching could be kept more loose to allow for more comfort. It did not have the side straps like the Halti, so it could ride up into the dog's eyes. The noseband was narrow and not padded (unless you shell out extra $ for the premium version not found in stores), so it bit into the dog's skin at the top of the nose. However, it came in multiple colors which helped it look less like a muzzle.

Petmate 3/4-Inch by 16-24-Inch Medium AKC Padded Dog Halter, Brown

New to the game was the Petmate AKC-branded headcollar. This came in many colors and was pre-fitted with a fleece padded noseband. The noseband color is always brown, and there are additional options for colors of the straps. This headcollar looked the least like a muzzle. However, the locking mechanism was not sturdy and would often slide, allowing dogs (even long-nosed breeds) to paw the noseband off their face. It also did not come with a safety strap to connect the headcollar to a dog's normal buckle collar (though one could be homemade very easily). It also buckles underneath the neck, rather than on the side of the face. The Petmate headcollar can also ride up into the eyes of your dog.

PETMATE AKC PROS: color choices, fleece padded noseband

PETMATE AKC CONS: loose & slide-able lock, no safety strap to connect to collar, rides up into eyes.

Coastal Holt Dog Walking Collar, Blue, Size 0

Now, onto the Holt. The Holt is identical to the Halti except for two key features: a "camlock" and a foam-padded noseband. The camlock is a very tight locking mechanism that does NOT budge when the dog paws at the noseband. It is a great tool to keep the headcollar ON your dog. For short-nosed breeds, the camlock can be set tight and will stay in place. It has the same great features of the halti to prevent the noseband from riding up into the eyes, and the safety strap to connect the headcollar to a buckle collar. In addition, the noseband is padded with black foam material, not fleece, and is extremely soft and comfortable. It is sewn on the underside of the headcollar, and does not interrupt the color (can not be seen while the dog is wearing the headcollar). The Holt comes in a variety of colors, including red, pink, and blue.

HOLT PROS: extremely comfortable, foam padded noseband, noseband doesn't ride up into eyes, camlock keeps noseband in place even with short-nosed breeds, multiple colors

HOLT CONS: ???

If you are considering a headcollar to train your dog, I highly recommend the Holt for all breeds. It is a worthy successor to the Halti and, thus far, I have found no drawbacks.

I bought this item to try because my 150-pound Doberman boy constantly pulls me when I put a regular collar on him. With this item, he doesn't pull. I had tried another head halter from another store, however, it rubbed and chaffed him across the bridge of his nose. THIS halter DOES NOT DO THAT! It's a soft, fleece type material that doesn't bother him whatsoever. I baby and spoil my huge doberman boy, and he gets only the best. Well, this product IS the best. Our dog freaked out the first time we put it on her. She did not like the nose part at all and ran around the house in circles until she got it off of herself. The second time, I put it on her and ran her straight out the door, and didnt stop running until she stopped fighting the collar, which was about a minute, then, she could care less that it was on her. Normally on walks, she would act like a psycho dog and drag me down the street and would act nuts when people, cars, or other dogs went past. We have had several dogs in the past, but Tinkerbell is just hard headed and she would lose her mind the second she got out of the door. This collar improved her manners on walks 100%! The way it fits around the neck and muzzle makes it almost impossible for her to pull me, and when she would try and run towards other dogs and people, a gentle correction got her right back on track. The item works but it requires constant attention to prevent harm to my dog. It tends to ride up to her eyes and I feel this is dangerous. It does work for keeping my dog in check but it is a fitting nightmare.

despite the positive reviews, which is why I purchased this item, I had to return it. I properly hooked the collar around her neck, looped the nose portion up over her nose & tightened it, then attached the leash to the ring provided. Once we set off on the walk I notice she tries to wiggle out of it but I tell her 'no' & she settles down pretty quick. When we see another dog & she starts to pull I pull back & tell her 'no' & the head halter does indeed work & pull her head toward me, so I think good this will work, except I notice as more pulls happen during the walk that the nose portion, which already fairly close to her eyes pulls up as she struggles to pull her head away and comes up across her eye. Once I see it happens several times during a couple of walks, I relaize I can't keep it because I don't want her eyeball scraped, damaged or needing to be removed because of theis item. After the 1st time it happened I double checked the nose loop, re-adjusted it & tightened it a bit more, but she pulls her head & wiggles differently each time & the nose loop just doesn't stay still & lie flat thru all of that. Should give it a 1 for being dangerous, in my opinion, but I gave it a 2 for effort as it does work but there's not enough control/structure in the nose loop to keep it from wiggling around & pulling this way & that & I can't risk eye injury. I guess it's back to the pinchy collar thing until she's been trained enough (she's in classes) to stop pulling & ignore outside stimuli almost entirely. BTWthe pinchy collar still does not stop her from pulling as she's very focused.

Lightest Long Line Ever: 25' Outdoor Line

I have access to a large yard but it's not fenced in. This lead lets my dog run around but gives me peace of mind since I can step on it to stop her from, say, chasing a cat out of the yard ;). It's great for teaching recall, too.

Edit: After reading another review I wanted to say that this is not meant as a tie-out! It's for supervised play and training. If you're looking for something as a tie-out you'll need a thicker material.

I purchased this item over a year ago. It has held up so nicely! It still looks brand new even though I use it often while walking my dog through open fields or letting her swim in the river while I stand on the shore holding the other end.

It's a good length and weighs practically nothing. When my dog drags this line through the mud, I just toss it in a mesh laundry bag, throw it in the washing machine, and hang it to dry. Good as new!

My 10 lb. mini-poodle chewed through the lead and nearly was hit by a car when I tried to catch him. Scared me to death. I've gone through two cable leads, they coil up a lot and the plastic coating doesn't last. Is there a another option for a small dog who loves to hang out outside? I've attached his lead to the inside next to the sliding patio door. He lets me know when he wants out. I hook him up and off he goes. I need a long lead that he can't chew through but isn't too heavy. I was hoping this was the answer but it was a near disaster. The nylon lead is very flimsy and only has a clasp at one end which is also small and flimsy.

My Black labs LOVE these things! They will fetch all day long or unitl I get tired of throwing them. They are easy to throw, provide a good and varied bounce and hold up pretty well. They are not a chew toy, although one of my labs thinks it okay to bite off the rope, bummer. When that happens, they get a shorter throw, but they don't care. After lots of fetching and abuse, the cover begins to come off. After the cover is torn completely off and the tug of war between the two dogs it ends up in two pieces. Time for another. I buy these a dozen at a time! They last as well as anything else I have purchased. To purchase locally they cost $14.99. What a rip! Great company service and excellent delivery time.

I bought the large version of this toy for my lab/shepard mix who is 65 pounds. My dog can go through toys pretty quickly so I tend to stick with brands that create the most durable toys to make my money last a little longer. The rope on this toy is made of nylon, not canvas like some of the other kong toys, and because it is made of nylon my dog ripped through the toy in less than 5 minutes. I literally opened the toy and by the time I turned around it was in two pieces. I gave it two stars because I was still able to use the fetch part of the toy without the rope.

My dogs love the Air Kong Line. It is a great item to play fetch with and with the shape of theis toy both dogs try to pull on it to bring it back. Unlike the other review, mine has lasted several months without much wear and tear (it is quite dirty though). All in all I would say that this is a great item for fetch and the dog park. The balls are also great as they are close to indestructable for my dogs but still sqeak to drive them nuts.

My Lab mix had the rope detached from the tennis ball material in less than 20 minutes. In the same time, she'd broken some of the individual strands of the nylon rope, so if one thing hadn't broken something else would have. Not durable, not recommended.

Only complaint, it breaks easily. I have two smaller dogs that wrestle and play all the time. They are constantly getting at each other's collars to try and pin the other. It took about a week of that before the lights stopped working due to this. Now it's just a nice looking green collar.
