Simple Solution Washable Diapers

Per the last reviewer, all dogs are different. I have to agree, this diaper wrap (aka cumberbund) is more for the occasional "leaker." My dog is almost 14 and is on alot of medicine including diuretics. While awake he would never pee, however, when sound asleep he may leak, sometimes quite a bit. You really should purchase the pads that go with the wrap: When used both together the system works great. (You can also used regular sanitary napkins-my girlfriend lent me a couple-something I never thought would happen :-) I can now have my dog sit or lay with me on the furniture and not have to worry about him leaking on the fabric or on a rug or the wood floors.

Again all dogs are different and he barely seems to notice that he has the wrap on. He was used to it immediately. I sized the wrap according to his waist size and not his body weight. Had I gotten the wrap sized according to body weight it would have been too small and possibly uncomfortable. It does shrink somewhat in the wash as well.

One other thing it stays on great with a very wide velcro band closure. The wideness of the band allows you to adjust looser or tighter as needed.

Our chow was starting to have little 'droplets' accidents. We saw this item and tried it out....before doing any research! Well, we lucked out!

This item is perfect, it fits her perfectly and haven't had any problems since. We bought the pupster liners, just to see what the 'recommended' product looked like, and human feminine liners/pads are doing the job just wonderfully for way cheaper.

Hopefully this will keep her around and enjoying life without her being embarassed. I say this because when she would let out a few drops, she would turn around immediately and start licking up her mess.

She is partially deaf and blind, so she's very skittish when we try to put it on her, so we distract her by giving her medicine in a turkey frank, while putting it on her and that seems to work as well.

She's 16 years old and has declining health, but still has some pep in her step.

Now I know they have the bands for the boys, but it did recommend that a size bigger would fit the boys. I have a yorkshire terrier who gets excited really easily and pees all over from it. This diaper fit big but just the way his anatomy is he can still pee outside of it....and DON"T buy the 'pads' that go with it. All they are, are a bunch of women's over priced pantyliners. That is exactly what they are. So I gave this 3 stars becasue it would have worked better for a girl and only catches some of the excitable urine.

I just ordered my fourth one of these diapers. I have a dog who has a malignant tumor in her urethra this caused her to lose her "early warning system" when she has to pee, and she just isn't making it to the door anymore. She also needs to pee pretty frequently. For a couple of months we were running around after her jumping up the moment she jumped up to try to get her out the door. I was so hesitant to go the diaper route. A big black lab wearing a diaper just seemed odd. I was so wrong. Life is simpler now. We see her assume the position and pee right into the diaper (which we attach a Poise pad to). We just let her go ahead and pee. No more frantic runs to try to get her out the door, no more concerns in the car. Even if she has a bowel movement it isn't too bad the diaper seems to have a bit of room in the bottom of it that it sort of falls down and doesn't smash up against her hair. Sometimes a bit will get on the diaper so I have to wash it, but it's not bad. Also, if she is lying in her bed and pees, it will not all go into the Poise pad. It will go out the side and get the diaper wet so again I have to wash the diaper. I have some weewee pads in her bed, so that captures the pee that leaks out. It's all good much much much easier than it was before the diaper.

Size is important my dog is about 55lbs. I had originally ordered an XL for her, and it can slip down and become positioned incorrectly. The LARGEs I have ordered fit much better nice and snug, no slipping.

The loop the D-ring for the leash was attached to got ripped off within a few days. I managed to somehow make do by sewing some scrap ribbon on for the leash. Then the light got shorter, limited only to the area immediately next to the switch.

Got mine today and it has some kind of short. Won't stay lit even with a new battery, so it's going back. Too bad, I like the look and construction.

The quality appears good. It's a much lighter blue than I had hoped. The light also appears to work fine, but I'll be curious to see how it holds-up ove time.

This crate is large enough for our St. Bernard with enough room to spare for a person to climb in with him! We've had the crate 2 months and overall, are very happy with it. The dog loves it he has room to stretch out and stand up and opts to take his naps in it. For the price, we think the crate is great value, sturdy enough and surprisingly portable if a little unwieldy for one person. First off, do not remove any of the pins that are already put in place. My boyfriend made that mistake. It took us an hour to get this thing together. And, you definatly need two people to do it. There was one part that was bent but it seemed to be ok. I will definatly be securing all the edges with zip ties. It doesn't seem that only the pins will do the job. On a better note, I would order this again. I don't know if my dog(White Shepherd)is going through his terrible two's or what but he destroyed my couch. So this is the reason I got it. He loves it!!

They sent it all the way to Alaska. no dents/bends. easy to put together/didn't read the instructions. might be easier with 2 people. very heavy, not very portable unless you are on steriods. didn't buy the pan because I have a smaller cage and the pan is cracked/leaking. I will have a metal pan made. the only large cage I could get shipped to Alaska without extremely high shiping rates added on. would rather have 2-door with a side door for more options in placement because it is huge. fits my Great Dane well.

The collar arrived quickly and came with complete instructions. I could barely feel the #1 setting, so I started there on my miniture Schnauzer. She couldn't feel #1 either, but responded immediately when we got to #3. She is a perfect dog when on a leash, but totally ignores me when not leashed. She has a powerfull chasing instinct, and will run 200 yards down to the road to chase a car. I'm hoping that I can get her to stop chasing cars before she gets killed, and now I have a better chance.

We got a pug/beagle mix just under a year old that is a very smart dog. Problem is he is just so excitable and if you bring out some treats to try to teach him a trick he wasn't able to sit still with the excitment. I think he loves having this collar on because he knows he usually gets treats when he wears it. It's great that he doesn't associate the collar with pain, but with rewards! I highly recommend starting at the lowest level and slowly working your way up just until you notice your dog feels it. We tested it on ourselves to get an understanding of what our dog would feel, the shock isn't that bad on a 5 or 6, which is what we usually set it on for our dog.

It really works, even if I am in the house and the dog is somewhat near the house, she can till feel it (and stop barking). The only problem is that when we need it we can't find the remote, but that is our problem not the device's. Definitely recommend it.

This product surprised me! I gave it 3 stars because ive only been using it 2 days and am not sure of the battery life, however it only uses 2 AAA batteries in the collar, so its cheap to replace. I used the tone button first then if my dog won't respond (she likes to run out of our yard) then i hit vibrate. Thats all that is needed for our 12pound mutt. The shock is a bit much for her size, but it comes with 2 different sized prong sets, so if your dog has thick fur it still works great. I have used it on our boxer, who just happens to be the perfect size to steal food off the table, and the vibrate got a response, but the shock was needed for her and didn't seem to hurt her. Just confused her a bit till she noticed she would be shocked if she didn't listen to "NO!" and then a tone. Great for the price and got free shipping so im very happy. Don't recomend for dogs larger than 50 pounds, may not be enough to get them to respond. Very happy with the range. Worked well even when my small dog got to the other side of the neighbors yard, and our yards are large, she was in direct line of sight though, don't know if that matters.

I purchased this collar for my 9 lbs dog. I thought it was an appropriate size for him but turns out it is way too big. I don't like the battery part of this collar because when not using it, you have to take the battery out by unscrewing the contacts, otherwise it will stay on. Also, when delivering a stimulation, either a shock or vibrate, you have no control over the length of the stimulus. It goes for about a second and half or so, which is too long for my liking. I would not recomend this collar for a dog smaller than 20 lbs. I have experience with other collars that are rechargable and you can control the length and strength of the stimulus.

Product perfect and works well for the price. My Pomeranian was a wondered and this remote trainer brought him right under control. I only ever had to low shock him one time and the rest I use vibrate. I am able to take him on off leash walks with my other two dogs and he is just as well mannered and behaved as they are. What a pleasure. I don't think it is waterproof, but he has jumped in ponds a couple of times and it still works just fine. I am at the point know that he just needs to wear the collar and is voice controlled. I am SO pleased. The collar is a little big, but I was able to rig it to fit. Luckily my pom is a large pom.

I got this knowing it wasn't a top of the line one, and it actually exceeded my expectations. It does the job, and we rarely need to use the shock button. We got it for our small dog who barks and jumps, and we just followed th recommendations of sing verbal commands, then pushing vibrate first then shock. Now, not only does vibrate work wonders with him, he seems to almost stop and think when he has the collar on and barks far less. One thing to remember is to make sure you sync them after you put fresh batteries in, or it won't work until you do. I forgot to do this once and their customer service was very good and helped me out. Also, one reviewer had said that you can't turn the collar off, but it does sort of go to sleep, and turns back on when moved, so that has not been a problem. I would highly recommend this collar!

It was easy to order and easy to hook up and use. I have had problems with keeping the batteries up. It goes through batteries pretty fast if it is used constantly. It does the job I want it to do, calm down the dog and stop it from barking. I would recommend it.

Buyer beware. This purchase was a waste of money. It implies that a dog can be trained to respond to various musical melodies--lot's of luck. The dog collar receiver is a monstrosity that was bulky for my dog and looked stupid. The two mile range is but wishful thinking. The instructions only explain what each button does. There is no insight on how to use it. Forget it.

This is quite useless as a pet correction gadget. Dogs will ignore the voice coming from the collar after a while, as you are not standing there for the dog to associate the voice with someone.

I bought this at a dollar store for two bucks. As I expected, the battery in the collar unit was nearly dead, it only functions best when plugged in or its internal PL503040 3.7v polymmer battery replaced. So if your dog gets lost, the thing is quite useless, unless you keep it turned off. Still good for short term FRS communications.

However, the other half of this novelty is that it seems to be using GMRS / FRS network. It picked up a couple of chatters while I tried it in the Long Beach Marina area. Both transmitters were too weak to make any understandable response back to them one guy told me to throw the piece of rubbish away and get a REAL GMRS radio from a pawn shop!

It's still useful for short-distance communications around the house like adjusting the antenna, or checking the fuse box. There are other GMRS gadget pairs that are cheaper.

It was a good patent idea on paper, however, it was poorly executed. If it was properly executed with durable/replaceable collar batteries, it would have been too expensive or too bulky for the dog.

I loved this idea so much that when I saw it, I invested about $10K into it. The product was apparently doing well and about to show up in all the major pet stores, and an extension of this great technology was also going to be used by the military for tracking their front line troops in action. I kept stopping by various pet stores to get some feedback, but they never did get the product. Next, I see that this small startup company has sponsored the winning chuckwagon at the Calgary Stampede for $210,000.00, outbidding all the major oil companies for this privilege, and getting the total VIP treatment for all their executives and entourage at the biggest party on Earth. Finally, I see this dude walking down the sidewalk in a yellow silk jacket with the HearNow logo on it, it was the main scammer Gerard Besaw's son Jarret Besaw, he had been promoted to be the Australian Sales Manager. Although they hadn't yet sold ten units in their own town, it was time to become global. Gotta think big! I suspect he used my $10K to fly there first class and stay in a five star accomodation long enough to see the sites in that country. I'm embarrassed to have been conned by these grifters. They were fined $100,000 by the Alberta Securities Commission but pocketed the rest of their $6.6 million other than their Stampede party costs. I think there should be more severe consequences for such blatant fraud. They continue to walk freely among us, living in Calgary, but using their offshore bank accounts to vacation. Sheisters!

Looks like the 5 star review is from the manufacturer. I got the product after I had 3 weeks experience with a good quality trainer. Of course, for given price one can not expect a lot, but at least it should be usable. One never know when the transmitter is working and when it is sleeping. In such a situation the training itself is more less not possible. The device has many features, but it looks to me like the quantity is beating the quality. After 1 week of rare usage it stopped to work. Or I can say, it was working within 50 cm distance only. I do not know if it was battery or HW failure. It does not matter, because it either case it is ranking the product as very poor.

Thought I had done my due diligence on this product prior to purchase but boy was I way off the mark. This thing is cheap and useless. It's made entirely of plastic, weighs all but 2 oz. and NEVER works properly. It's like a bad toy. I find I have to manipulate the batteries to sync the receiver with the remote every time I want to use it. And you have to basically dismantle the receiver just to install the batteries. I just purchased another set of batteries for the remote and they are already dead. The batteries for the remote are those small specialty batteries so you have to go to a specialty store like Radio Shack just to buy them, and on top of that they're expensive. There is no troubleshooting option available so if the thing doesn't work as described you're pretty much screwed. I would strongly encourage you to refrain from purchasing this product. There HAS to be a better product out there. Don't waste your money!!

Lightest Long Line Ever: 25' Outdoor Line

I have access to a large yard but it's not fenced in. This lead lets my dog run around but gives me peace of mind since I can step on it to stop her from, say, chasing a cat out of the yard ;). It's great for teaching recall, too.

Edit: After reading another review I wanted to say that this is not meant as a tie-out! It's for supervised play and training. If you're looking for something as a tie-out you'll need a thicker material.

I purchased this item over a year ago. It has held up so nicely! It still looks brand new even though I use it often while walking my dog through open fields or letting her swim in the river while I stand on the shore holding the other end.

It's a good length and weighs practically nothing. When my dog drags this line through the mud, I just toss it in a mesh laundry bag, throw it in the washing machine, and hang it to dry. Good as new!

My 10 lb. mini-poodle chewed through the lead and nearly was hit by a car when I tried to catch him. Scared me to death. I've gone through two cable leads, they coil up a lot and the plastic coating doesn't last. Is there a another option for a small dog who loves to hang out outside? I've attached his lead to the inside next to the sliding patio door. He lets me know when he wants out. I hook him up and off he goes. I need a long lead that he can't chew through but isn't too heavy. I was hoping this was the answer but it was a near disaster. The nylon lead is very flimsy and only has a clasp at one end which is also small and flimsy.
