This small tray is the best thing since sliced bread!

Pads we use: 22 x 22

We own three dogs, two of which are younger than three years old. I trained our second youngest to use his wee wee pads two days after bringing him home (when he was only three months old) and he uses them flawlessly. We took our youngest dog in at the age of 10 months, however, and she wasn't pad trained very well. Everytime she saw our older dog use his wee wee pad she'd follow suit but almost always missed. We tried to run out with her in the mornings and evenings to ensure we wouldn't get stuck wiping tiles and floors but sometimes we couldn't avoid the mess and I was becoming increasingly frustrated. She knew she could use the pad but she just couldn't get it in the middle! We tried using two pads, changing its position, its location, and spraying the middle of the pad with liquid training products, but nothing worked.

Convinced that there had to be a way to get her to wee in the middle of the pad, I searched and found that people recommended using a tray the most, so I searched through Amazon and found this one here. It was slightly cheaper than most trays I'd found, it was a good size, and it looked cute. The holder arrived quickly and came in a sealed bag with instructions. Because it was so new to her, she refused to use it for a few days but as soon as she saw our older dog use it too, she followed suit. As soon as we noticed that she was starting to go on it, we'd be ready to praise her. She's now using it without an issue (for both #1 and #2!!), she always tinkles RIGHT ON IT, and our floors have seen at least 90% less accidents.

The pads we use are much larger than the tray but I fold the sides under and it holds on to it perfectly! If your dog is tearing up his/her pads or missing the pad altogher, I totally recommend this pad holder/tray.

I bought this and I was scared that it would be too small. But it wasnt at all. A great size for my puppy who's about 12lbs.

I have a puppy pad placed near the side door, but the wind would blow the pad away when we opened the door. Now it stays in place with the holder.

This product is excellent! It held the pad in place, no leaks whatsoever. But even with a small 5 pound chihuahua it was too small. She fit on it fine but if yours likes to move around as mine does to, "pick the perfect spot", to go potty this would not be for you. I would order from this seller again, fast shipping!

We had been using the prong collar for our puppy. Then the vet said that she prefers the "gentle leader". So I looked it up and found the Holt walking collar as an alternative. The strap that goes over the dog's snout has nice padding and a soft fabric which the gentle leader doesn't have.

I did take the advice of another reviewer get yourself ready for the walk first (it's winter, so I'm gearing up with coat, hat, gloves). When you are ready to start walking, put the collar on the dog. My dog did successfully get it off of her face a few times within the first 5-10 minutes of the walk. After that though, it was like we'd been walking with this type of collar for months! She picked it up very quickly. (I had also tightened the part that goes round the snout so it was harder to get off.)

As for performance of the product it's amazing! No pulling or jolting away from the human. This is a much gentler way to control your dog on a walk! I was skeptical of the vet when she said that people never go back once they try this method she is 100% right! I will never go back! Five starts in every aspect!

I purchased the 10-13" puppy bumper for my 10lb Shih Tzu and it works wonders. Old Mother Hubbard Snacks for Dogs Soft and Chewy Bitz

I was first introduced to this snack at my dog's training classes at petco. He really enjoys them! The pieces are really tiny but you can tell that it is made from quality ingredients (it also smells really bad), but my dog loves it. I highly recommend this product as it is a quality product that is actually healthy for your pup!

PureBites Beef Liver Dog Treats,

I always buy Made in the USA treats for my dog as well as dog foods since I lost my Airedale due to melamine poisoning with chinese ingredients in dog food. These liver treats cost a bit more but are worth it...pup loves them.

Our Shitzu is very picky when it comes to treats, which is good I guess. Only puppy sized Milkbones and Dried Liver Treats. We used a different brand in the past, but tried PureBites and he loves them, just as much. The other brand sells them in a hard plastic (reusable)container and the PureBites are in a bag/pouch. Not sure if that contributes to more breakage of pieces or if it's just they way they are processed. Since our pooch is a small dog, he doesn't need "big bites", so these are just fine for him. Price per ounce seems better on the PureBites too.

My dandie dinmont puppy behaved beautifully in puppy class because of these treats. He was mesmerized. I cut one treat up into tiny "motivating" pieces and he absolutely loves them. Each big piece is only 10 calories. Just a great product.

These liver treats are awesome!! My dog loves them and they definitely make a nice reward especially after getting his nails cut. My dog is also kind of a picky eater and he doesn't really like his dog food, but since he's allergic to potatoes he doesn't have very many options to what kind of dog food he eats. To coax him to eat his food, sometimes I'll get a piece of these treats, crush it up and sprinkle it over his food. He seriously is the best eater after the liver treats are all over his kibbles. I also gave these treats to my cousins chihuahua whos also a really picky eater. She a little worse than my dog, she doesn't like any kind of treats, but she'll eat these! Looks like the 5 star review is from the manufacturer. I got the product after I had 3 weeks experience with a good quality trainer. Of course, for given price one can not expect a lot, but at least it should be usable. One never know when the transmitter is working and when it is sleeping. In such a situation the training itself is more less not possible. The device has many features, but it looks to me like the quantity is beating the quality. After 1 week of rare usage it stopped to work. Or I can say, it was working within 50 cm distance only. I do not know if it was battery or HW failure. It does not matter, because it either case it is ranking the product as very poor.

Thought I had done my due diligence on this product prior to purchase but boy was I way off the mark. This thing is cheap and useless. It's made entirely of plastic, weighs all but 2 oz. and NEVER works properly. It's like a bad toy. I find I have to manipulate the batteries to sync the receiver with the remote every time I want to use it. And you have to basically dismantle the receiver just to install the batteries. I just purchased another set of batteries for the remote and they are already dead. The batteries for the remote are those small specialty batteries so you have to go to a specialty store like Radio Shack just to buy them, and on top of that they're expensive. There is no troubleshooting option available so if the thing doesn't work as described you're pretty much screwed. I would strongly encourage you to refrain from purchasing this product. There HAS to be a better product out there. Don't waste your money!!

Liver Bits Treats for Dogs (4 oz)

The value of these treats is quite good & they smell exactly like chopped liver or pate. The pieces are on the larger side, so I break them up into smaller bits for my 5-lb puppy, but they still take awhile for her to chew them up so they're not good for training like I'd hoped. If she was a bigger dog, I suspect I'd be giving the full 5 stars

They are easy to break up into even smaller pieces and I can put them in her treat balls that she loves to play with.

My dogs like these treats well enough. At least when there isn't (parchment?) paper stuck to the back of them. And at least a third of the treats had this problem.

I'd feed them to the dogs and they'd take a bite and if it had paper they'd spit it back out. Some treat.

I could peel the paper off some of the treats. If I couldn't peel it off I tried to cut off and the treat would crumble into dust.

Not a fan.

My son has a 3 yr old Husky mix dog. He was a good dog except he loved to run the neighborhood any chance he could get. A fenced in back yard did not stop him--he dug under the fence with help from the neighbors dog on the other side! In one afternoon working with him we were able to have him in the yard without a leash and he did not try to run. Since then we are able to take him outside without fear of him running and getting hit by a car. My son said it is a joy to be able to play with him outside and know he will stay in the yard unless he is permitted to leave. Going in and out our door is no longer a challenge as he does as he is told. The best part seems to be that just having the collar on him is enough to keep him calm and doing as he is told. My only wish is that my son had gotten it sooner!

Collar worked as advertised. It appears to be made of quality materials. The battery has adequate duration lasting several days when using it intermittently every day. Our dog is extremely high will-power and does not respond to lower levels of shock. We did use a professional trainer to introduce her to the collar. Not necessary but a good idea. Length of the collar can accomodate a very large dog and cannot be trimmed which leaves a long loop hanging. Turning the collar on and off can be a little confusing. All-in -all a very satisfactory product.

This product has probably saved our dogs life. He was constantly trying to run off and since using the collar he no longer attempts to run off. We take him outside without a leash allowing him to run free. He knows his borders and he obeys commands. What a wonderful training tool.

These collars and training set up are effective.

Use:

One Chihuahua, to train to stay in the yard

Two large breed muts, for barking at everything that goes by our fence.

Pros: I love the vibrating feature! I have only had to use the electrical impulses once on the chihuahua. A quick tap on the vibrator and she turns away from the fence. It works just as well on the larger dogs, one being a Doberman something mix.

It fits both sized dogs (I trimmed the collar down)

The price! For about 1/4 of the price this collar works just as well as the more expesive collars. (I can only speak to ranges from 1/5 to 3/4 of an acre, works just fine)

Cons: I suppose this is to be expected for the price, the material the actual collar is made from is, well, lower quality and not as pliable. The collar still works just fine, but when you are trying to get it on quickly, it can be a bit more of a challenge.
