luv luv luv my new bungee leash. my dog's not a "pupee" per se, but she does have a tendency to want to mush across the tundra. she's only 47 pounds tho, and i wonder if i'd want to use it for a much larger dog who might pull more. I love the way the dogs turn to me & immediately come to me. One of my dogs won't even attempt to bark at the window or door. The other one still tries. It's also a good recall tool.

I own two 4 year old Tibetan Terriers and barking is their music. Sometimes the barking decibels reached annoying peaks and the territorial barking they emitted when seeing a passing dog was downright embarrassing. One little blast of Pet Corrector changed all that: I want them to bark as watchdogs but I want them to stop when I say to. Now all I have to say is "Oh, no" and they behave like Lassie, then of course they must be rewarded with enthusiastic Good Dogs. My only criticism is that I have ordered several cans of Pet Corrector from Amazon over the past weeks (to give to friends with problem dogs) and never have I received the so-called book of instructions.

our puppy wouldn't have anything to do with the tray or pads...well except to sleep on it! The product itself was exactly what was advertised it just didn't work for our dog. She's a border collie if that makes any difference.

I think it is a great product but for some reason my puppy thinks it is a bed. She is a small breed. If you do buy it though and reside in Canada make sure you buy at least 50 pads because it is difficult to buy good pads that fit. I do like Richell and they make quality items.

Dean and Tyler DT Freedom Muzzle, Size No. 26 - Dalmatian Female

This is only the second muzzle I've owned. I have a 4 1/2 year old Golden Retriever, and after a little "incident" with another, smaller dog in my apartment complex, I decided to start putting a muzzle on whenever I take her out. I say this so that you understand she hasn't grown up wearing muzzles at all.

The first muzzle I got was a different one from Dean & Tyler, and while the quality was great, it fit too snug around her snout to allow her to open her mouth and pant. Not only can this become bad for dogs (if left like that for extended periods, not being able to pant causes over-heating in dogs), but she hated it with a passion and constantly tried pulling the muzzle off. I figured she just wasn't used to having to wear one.

Then I found out about the DT Freedom line of muzzles. I bought this muzzle to replace the regular DT muzzle I had, when I saw that it was designed to let them open their mouths and pant. She has no problem with it! The very first time I put it on, she just sat there patiently with her tail wagging, waiting for me to put on her collar and leash to go outside.

One thing though, DEFINITELY watch the sizing on the muzzle. I recommend going to the official Dean & Tyler website, they have pages explaining in great detail how to properly measure your dog for a muzzle and they have all the muzzles laid out in a nice chart showing each muzzle's dimensions. And they encourage you to contact them if you have any questions or concerns at all about sizing muzzles.

If you buy it from their official website, they also offer free standard shipping, making the total price currently cheaper than buying it with standard shipping from Amazon. They say on the website that, in addition to standard shipping time, each muzzle is made to order and can take up to 10 days just to craft before shipping (you get an email telling you to contact them if you need it urgently and don't want to wait 10 days). BUT I ordered mine on a Saturday and received it the following Saturday, without needing to contact them or pay for faster shipping.

All in all, I couldn't be happier.

Great Muzzle. You really should call Tyler and Dean and discuss the sizing. Will likely require sending them photos of the dog as well but that is what it takes...

I bought this muzzle about 6 months ago. I have a 'mutt' dog of little known origin, so measuring was an absolute must for this product, though I strongly recommend you measure twice for any dog! I originally got the pitbull female size, and it was way too big for my dog. I had been using a cloth grooming muzzle for a while as my dog is fearful and will attack dogs when they get to close to him. However, the cloth muzzle was very uncomfortable and my dog was constantly trying to get it off. It also rubbed away some of his fur on his snout, which was unsightly and obviously itchy/painful for the dog. I was slightly skeptical about how well my dog would keep the Dt Freedom on, but amazingly he has never once tried to get it off! That being said, it would not be particularly hard for him to pull off if he wanted to do so. This might be because he was hard to fit. There is no more rubbed off fur. The best thing about this muzzle is that it really does let him open his mouth, drink, pant, etc. It also lets him go through the motions of snapping, thus letting us correct the behavior (he now rarely snaps). The only thing I would change about it is how well it stays on. I have considered adding a strap that goes around the dog's neck like a collar so that it could not come off if he wanted it to. This would make me feel more comfortable taking him to a dog park for socialization. This really is a great muzzle for everyday, long term use!

Gentle Leader Quick Release Headcollar: Medium, Fawn

After, one of my young 46 lb pit bulls (ball of muscle ) snapped my wrist backward, while on a collar and leash, at the vet's and sent me to the emergency room, I started using the Gentle Leader. The greatest thing, I have ever found. People are amazed when the little 5'2" lady walks thru PetSmart with the two hulking Pit Bulls now over 68 lbs. each with just a head halter on and a continuously slack leash.

It is amazing that something so simple, so tiny, so fragile looking, and so humane could affect so much change, so quickly, and so easily.

Doesn't really work, cheaply made, Not worth the money, disappointed in the gentle lead quick release headcollar....do not buy it.

Guardian Gear® 6' Cotton Training Leads for Dogs

I was disappointed to say the least. I currently use another 6 inch 100% cotton lead that I purchased from a dog trainer for about the same price. That lead is thick and very soft and my favorite lead to use because it does not dig into my hand when my young beagle pulls on it. It is just the right length (I find 5 feet leads too short). It has begun to fray, however, because our dog gnawed on it, so I wanted to find a replacement. The lead I bought from Amazon turned out to be much thinner and doesn't feel like 100% cotton. All I know is that it hurts my hand, so I don't use it anymore for our beagle.

I had a four foot leash that was just a bit too short. It was really soft, but I wanted something longer. My dog has a bad habit of pulling sometimes, I admit that. I've been training him to walk beside me. I let him go to the bathroom a bit farther away from me. Sometimes I don't want to go onto the grass (some irresponsible dog owners don't pick up after their dogs) and a longer leash would allow me to let him sniff around at a reasonable distance without him pulling me. And don't worry. I always pick up after my dog.

I bought the leash in black and the length is good. I definitely like the extra two feet. My old leash was not long enough. The only problem is the leash is not soft at all. It really hurts my hand when I correct my dog when he strays a bit too far or when he pulls. The material is a bit too rough. I'm not going to return it because it's just not worth paying the shipping to send it back, and I'm not going to return my dog! I guess there's more training to do, but I still wish it was softer. Maybe it'll soften up after a few uses. Hopefully!

Edited to Add: I'm getting used to the leash. It doesn't hurt my hand as much now. I added one star. I do wish it was a bit softer, but it's not as rough as when I first used it.

My only complaint is with myself I should have bought a ten foot lead so my inquisitive terrier wouldn't be struggling to go a few feet farther into the brush.

This product arrived quickly and is as pictured HOWEVER even tho' the package clearly says 6' it is about 3" short of 6'.

The old biscuits were great, I gave them to my dog for years and then Nutro changed the packaging, and kept the price the same while lowering the amount of biscuits by 50%. The new formula has 11% protein as opposed to 20% in the previous formula, they have more fat content than the old biscuits, they took out the polyphosphate which is the ingredient that reduces tartar and they are hard as a rock now. The new packaging doesn't even work right. The resealable seam ripped off like it wasn't even glued. Stay away from this product. Unless Nutro realizes its mistake and starts valuing its customers more than its bottom line, I wouldn't buy anything with their name on it.

This is a great product for keeping your dogs teeth clean and healthy...I have had 4 Corgi's now since 1992 and I have never had to have their teeth clean the vet always tells me how healthy their mouths are and how great their teeth look...the first 2 each lived to be 10 they had other health issues but nothing at all to do with their teeth or gums...I have 2 Corgi's now that are almost 3 and they have both gotten excellent checkup reports recently...

Blue Buffalo Chicken Bits Dog Treats, 4-Ounce

These are great treats with healthy (well, healthy as far as treats go) ingredients, and my dog loves them. They're moist, but not sticky or gooey, so you can keep a couple in your pocket with no worries. They break apart easily, so they're really good for smaller dogs. The only downside is that if you don't keep them sealed in the bag, they get hard. The price on amazon is basically the same as you'll find at PetSmart or Petco.

These treats are great...only 3 calories each, so our dag can have them often and we don't have to worry about het getting too pudgy. The important thing is that these are Made in the USA...that's important! Many brands of dog food and dog treats are made in China and overseas countries that have no guidelines or regulations, and are terrible for your dog. Don't buy any treats, food or rawhides that aren't explicitly maked Made in USA. Your dog will love these!
