The photo being shown for this product is of the carton that holds 100 count. Besides the photo, there is no mention in the product details of the number of pads in the package. I therefore only assumed it was what was shown in the photo. It seemed to be a great deal and was also shippable under Amazon Prime. However, upon receipt of my order today, what was shipped was the package with only 30 count. I will be returning it back to Amazon tomorrow. Needless to say, this is a gross misrepresentation by the seller and tarnishes the Amazon Prime brand.

The previous reviewer does a disservice rating these pads on the number of pads in the package, rather than on the product. These are the best pads I've found so far. They absorb more liquid than the many other brands I've tried, minimizing tracking. I highly recommend them!

Bark Control Collar

Was excited to get this for my son's barking boxer. The only huge problem with this device is the battery dies very quickly.

I turned the device off each and every time the boxer was inside, which was most of the time.

My father has a boder collie that is stubborn. She is very intelligent, and barks agressively when she does not get her way. The petsafe collar (with new batteries) does not even compare to how effective this is. This collar definately outsmarted her.

She lets out a yelp.... then is quiet.

Because of the pain that this inflicts, we obviously do not leave it on her all of the time. Just when she is in the car (on a cool summer day), or when she is too agressive (vocally)in the house (even after hours of "working" or playing frisbee in their 3 acre yard).

I really reccomend this brand and collar.

Just for shiggles, i wore this collar and barked. It was bearable. I think the dog yelps because it is a little bitch (28 pound female).

Gentle Leader Easy Walk Harness - Small, Purple

I liked the idea of this harness. The logic behind the design makes sense to me, and I like it much better than a choke collar of any sort. I was thrilled to find purple from a private seller on Amazon as it is not readily available. My dog is right in between a small and a medium with a 19" girth, so the small size I ordered is pretty much adjusted as big as it goes.

The harness works as promised. I noticed that my 18 lb schnauzer's pulling was immediately stopped when she'd hit the end of the leash. Fitting instructions come with the harness as well as training tips (brief, but helpful).

My only worry is that I wonder if it will chafe behind her elbows. The girth fits rather snug (per directions) and when pulling on the chest strap, it pulls the girth forward behind the front legs. The tag does warn about chaffing when running with your dog in the harness. So, it's definitely something I'll want to keep an eye on.

Overall, I do like the harness and am pleased that I don't have my little dog dragging on my arm any longer! Looking forward to having time to actually "train" her with the harness. It is simply a band aid right now.

I have a 20 pound bichon shih tzu dog, and last year, it fit him well, and he never pulled while we were walking. I live in Iowa, so we tend to sit around in the house during the winter. I went to put his harness on, and its too small. So I'm going to have to buy a medium. He used to pull so hard, he d be coughing and it was not a pleasant walk. I put the halter on him and within about five minutes, we were walking side by side.

The front latch only made it difficult for my dog. It just twisted to the side and did not "tighten in the chest" as advertised. Only confused my dog as she kept getting turned around. Quick return. A normal step-in harness with a top latch works so much better. 13lb dog.

This harness works great, I can actually enjoy walking with my dog now. He has stopped pulling, because when he does, the harness makes him turn around towards me and he stops. Without this harness, walks were horrible, because he pulled so hard he would be walking on his hind legs, and my arm and shoulder would hurt after our walks, and he is not a big dog, he only weighs 13 lbs. I would recommend this harness to anyone who has a dog, who is a puller.

Thundershirt Dog Anxiety Treatment

Our older dalmation has severe thunderstorm anxiety. She shivers, hides, pants, and whines. It is terrible! I was another skeptical shopper, but willing to try the Thundershirt after reading about it in my Yahoo group. Some people in the group were getting good results.

I'll admit, I was a little skeptical about how well this shirt would work for our 11 year old black lab mix, Mollie. She has ALWAYS been deathly afraid of thunder when a storm blows up, she paces, pants, trembles uncontrollably, and is just generally very, VERY anxious. Finding that it calmed her nervousness dramatically, she built a smaller-sized version for herself that she used while in college and beyond.

Remembering this from the movie, I decided to get a Thundershirt for Mollie. Well, let me tell you, it works wonders, at least for our Girl. In fact, it is thundering outside as I type this and Mollie, with her pink rugby-style Thundershirt on is laying calmly on the floor in her bed beside me. No panting, trembling or pacing. Oh, and as an aside, unlike some other reviewer's dogs, our Mollie has no problem moving around & relaxing when wearing her Thundershirt. The key, I think, is to be sure & order the correct size by measuring your dog around the deepest part of their chest. Doing this caused me to order one size larger than I would have guessed she needed. Also, don't put it on too tightly! Finally, while the material could cause her to be hot, we run the air conditioning in our house consistently at 72° and she is comfortable while wearing it.

We didn't buy our thundershirt for "thunderstorms". We read that the shirt was supposed to help ALL anxiety problems. We have a two-year old Lab/Golden Retriever mix. We love him to death, but since the day we got him (he was ten weeks old)he got very anxious whenever we had to leave him alone or take him for a drive. We recorded him on our webcam whenever we left. We would leave him kongs of frozen canned dog food or peanut butter, or any type of food that would take him a while to finish off. Once the food was eaten and he realized he was alone, he would start to pant, start crying, then start howling up toward the ceiling, calling for us. The crate just wouldn't work. We made it his "happy place" by putting toys and food in it. He happily goes into the crate to rest when we are home, but as soon as we left, he would howl, bark, and try to break out of the crate. What we did then was put a gate up and left him in the kitchen so that he had more room. The barking lessened, but he still did it. Whenever he laid down in the recorded videos we had of him, his head would be up and his ears would be back. Our main problem was when he barked, we didn't want him getting the neighbors angry...he has a LOUD bark, especially when he's anxious. We tried the thundershirt. We put it on him, he didn't try to chew it off or get uncomfortable. We recorded him with it on and we left for an hour. While in the shirt, he simply went next to the gate and laid down. After watching the whole video, he didn't bark a SINGLE time. That made us so happy that he felt like he was being hugged, so he didn't bark. The only thing I don't like is, as I said earlier, whenever we leave, we leave him food to work on in his kongs. Since we have had the shirt and we leave him, he seems to lose interest in his food. He just chills out and lays down with no barking. I like that he gets mellow, I guess that's what it's SUPPOSED to do, but for our extremely food-motivated dog to NOT touch his food when we put him in the thundershirt is odd. I don't know, it just seems like he's drugged or something while in the thundershirt. It doesn't hurt him, his personality just gets really mellow which is what you want if you don't want your dog to be anxious during stressful times for them. I would recommend if you are using this shirt for crate training or seperation anxiety, record your pooch while you are gone and see how he reacts when you aren't there. It was just nice to see that this shirt is not JUST for thunderstorms. If the shirt doesn't work, then return it with the money-back guarantee.

Purchased this for my miniature schnauzer who is a worrier, not because of thunder. She likes to get worked up in the evening about the people walking the neighborhood, bunnies in the yard, the cat, etc. She ends up running from window to window like a loon, whining and shrill barking. I got the large size crate (recommended for Golden Retrievers and Chows) for my 85 pound German Shepherd. This crate is roomy to put it nicely. There is enough room in the crate for both of my dogs (the 85 lb shepherd and another 70 pound shepherd) side by side. The crate is almost as big as my large kitchen table! As long as you aren't short on space, this is great but if you have a small apartment this crate is really going to limit your space. It seemed to have thick gauge wires when I saw it at the store but after taking on a road trip where it had to be folded and it got kneeled on while packing it up, the wires are bent. It still functions when open, but the clips that are designed to hold it shut when folded are mangled beyond repair. In it's defense though, the big dog inside paws it when she wants out and she hasn't damaged it. The three doors make it more versatile but each door only opens one direction so you still have to be thoughtful about where you are placing it, especially with it's size. It is very easy to remove the doors and put them back on. It's very roomy and luxurious, but very large and heavy and could definately have thicker gauge wires to make it more durable.

I'm not sure I could recommend this crate due to the poor quality of the pan on the floor. I have had my crate for just over a year and the crate itself has held up well, even with my 100 lb. Newfoundland sleeping in it every night. The problem is the pan has cracked in several places and when I checked the price of a replacement pan I was appalled that it would cost around $65 just for that cheap plastic pan. In reading other reviews on different sites I see that it is common for the pan to crack.

I bought 2 36" crates for my 50 lb dogs. They were shipped in the original boxes, which were beat up a little during delivery, but the crates were not damaged at all. It took me less than 5 minutes to set up the crates. It was a bit like a puzzle, but not difficult to do. Just to give you a little background, I'm a 5'1" 118lb female and yes, the crates are heavy, but that's the point. HEAVY duty wires will be heavy. It was awkward moving them when they were set up but hey, the crates are larger than I am and it was easy enough for me to do! Folded up, I can certainly carry them and put them in the trunk by myself (not to be mean, but maybe some people should lift some weights). I like that both of them fit easily into the trunk of our Altima. I am thinking of taking the two side doors off and sandwiching the two crates together. My dogs like to sleep together and they can go back and forth if they want some space. I actually wanted to get one large crate for both of them, but it wouldn't fit into the trunk and my husband wanted the dogs to have more room.

PROS: 3 removable doors, pewter finish, easy to set up, appears to be made of heavy duty wire (my dogs are not chewers, but we will have to see how well they last with repeated use--breaking down for travel and nightly use for sleeping), plastic pan slides out easily but can also be locked into place

Things to consider: One of the hooks was bent, but I used some pliers to bend it back easily (I also used cardboard to protect the pewter finish), one of the door latches sticks a little (but it's not a big deal), the doors are a little difficult to put back on because you have to line it up perfectly (but also not a big deal)

CONS: None that I know of but again, we'll see how well they last with use.

I purchased the 24" crate for my toy breed dog that should be arriving this spring. This crate is intended for a Morkie (Yorkshire/Maltese Mix). I expect the dog to reach an adult weight of 8 to 11 lbs based on his parents' size. The 24" crate should suffice for the dog's entire life. The included divider will allow me to create just enough space for the dog as he grows (so as to avoid soiling in the crate). Tip: dogs will not defecate in their crate if there is just enough space for them to sleep/stand up/stretch out. I tested this crate with my mother's dogs (a yorkshire terrier at 10 lbs, and a bichon frise at 14 lbs) and both were able to stand up and sleep in the crate comfortably. Also, these two dogs love to stretch out in all sorts of positions when they sleep, and the crate accommodated them well.

On to the crate itself...this crate arrives folded down. There are two clips that hold the crate in its locked position. Unlock these clips and the crate's ceiling and 2 walls lift up creating a box. Then lift the remaining two walls, and you're set. The crate is sturdy when assembled. The pan is sufficient...I see that some people had problems with their pan cracking, but I imagine that it should not be a problem for smaller, lighter breeds.

I plan to purchase a crate cover that will complete the den like feeling dogs love. Keep in mind that you will need to purchase some type of bed to place in this crate. I strongly recommend purchasing the "west paw nature nap" available here on amazon. It costs more than the typical fleece bumper bed you typically buy for crates, but it lasts forever! My mother's dogs are 11 years old and we bought their west paw beds 6 years ago. The beds have been washed numerous times and they still appear new.

I strongly recommend this crate, both for its material and design. Having a door on the side wall allows placement options in my home. I'm currently in Manhattan, New York City, so having this placement option in my apartment is very important for me. The third door is nice to have, as well. I'll update this in 8 to 10 months and share my experience with the crate.

I got one of these several months ago to keep the cat off the counters. As far as i know, it's working. I never see the cat up there. It also keeps the dogs out of any area or room i don't want them in.

When i first read about this concept on the web, i read about the SSSCAT product by Premier and i came to Amazon to buy it, but i read reviews in which the users reported that there was an older version of the product that had both a sound alarm and the spray of air, with the option to use sound only. SSSCAT was advertised as having both features, but users reported it had air spray only, no alarm. Apparently no one updated the page on Amazon after they discontinued the alarm. There were disappointed reviewers complaining that the product was not correctly described in the ad, and also, that the alarm option was not available anymore.

I really wanted the alarm, with the option of sound only. The spray uses up the supply of air pretty fast, and then it costs $20 including shipping to get another can of air, that doesn't last very long. I was very disappointed that the Premier product took this feature away. That's when a search led to the discovery of StayAway. True enough, the spray ran out very quick when i first got it. I had to buy a new one and during the long period between buying the refill and receiving it, there was no continuity of the cat's training. But since then, i have used mostly the alarm/sound only and not the spray, and have not run out of spray again, after a very long time, months.

After considerable review of the different manufacturers of this type of product I chose Contech specifically because their customer reviews indicated it was a better product, i.e. better quality, performance, etc. compared to the competition. I'll relate my experience and let you be the judge. I ordered two of the StayAway Pet Deterrents and they arrived promptly. The product is easy to assemble and place into immediate use. However the motion sensors on both units proved to be hypersensitive. Instead of limiting their sensing range out to 3 feet (the manufacturer's specifications) they detected movement and activated at a range clear out to 15 feet. So now you can't walk through our living room at all without them activating. I contacted customer service who were very friendly and the rep told me she had not heard of such a problem and would consult with one of their engineers and call me back which she did in a timely fashion. She stated that the engineer indicated that it was a bad sensor within the unit and they promptly shipped me 2 new units at no cost. I now have 4 units and they all have the same exact problem. They all fire at a range out to 15 feet. Unfortunately in my case the excess sensing range renders them very impractical unless I want to be purchasing the expensive refill canisters every week and putting up with the annoying blast every time we walk through the living room (high traffic area). I'm sure that the product normally works as advertised. Every manufacturer produces a lemon from time to time. But 4 units all performing outside their specifications indicates to me their is no quality control going on and neither did their customer service take the time to ensure they were sending me a properly functioning replacement.

After all the great reviews from other purchasers, I figured I'd give it a go. I bought the thing, set it up, and placed it in the doorway to my kitchen. The cat either walks right past it or the stupid "cat deterrent" goes off like three seconds after the cat has walked in front of it. How is that supposed to help the cat stay out of an area?

I have had the most exciting experience with this product to train my cat. I mean, I love her to death, but sometimes she is such a pain. I usually buy Fat Cat Kitty Hoots Big Mama's Scratchy Box Double Wide Purple but when I bought a cat tree I thought I wouldn't need this anymore. My cat proved me wrong when he started going after the office chair. Not wanting to wait for shipping, I bought the Kong scratcher at a local pet store and he seems to like it just as well as the Fat Cat. This is good news since he didn't like the generic PetSmart version.

When I first put it down, he rolls around in the catnip and falls asleep. I don't refresh the catnip but I see him everyday, at least once, go over to the box to either scratch or lie on it. He especially likes to go over to it when we come home for a good scratch and stretch before greeting us. The doublewide box perfectly fits his 11 pound frame.

The Fat Cat scratcher is tackier looking as it's purple with yellow tassels. Beige, this is more neutral looking and isn't such an eyesore. It's not as easy to flip the cardboard because it's more secured on the Kong version. Also, the Kong box warped. so it pooches out on the sides of the cardboard a bit.

My girl kitty doesn't usually scratch the box. She seems to prefer the upright posts on the cat tree but she'll come lie on it and chew on the edges.

Every cat has their own preferences... this is a cheap potential solution to save the furniture.

I thought I was ordering the refill for the incline Kong Scratcher. This product is what was brought up when I put "Kong Refill" in the search engine. Now with that said, I still like the product. I just leaned it against something and the cats took to it immediately. My incline had been used so much (and reversed) that they couldn't use it the way it was intended. The local pet store is selling this scratcher for $11.99 for 1. They also think this is a refill for the incline scratcher. Kong CS2 is just a scratcher, not a refill. I saved money buying 2 of these.

Our cat is 13 and has never really loved any scratching furniture we've bought her. But when we put down a new area rug, she nearly decimated it in 2 nights. So we ordered a Kong. We have 3 cats and we've used cardboard scratchers for them before. Usually, about 2-3 weeks after we put one out, we need to flip it over and give them the second side. With the Kong scratcher, we've had it out for over a month now and haven't had to flip it over. The cats also seemed to enjoy the catnip that the Kong comes with a lot more than other brands.

Santa brought this for two labs and a yorkie. The labs were great with it and I'd rate it full stars for them. However, the yorkie saved his for later and then choked on his piece while eating it and was unable to pull it out of his mouth on his own. Thankfully his human was nearby and (with difficulty) was able to pull it out. So I recommend it as a treat...but with careful supervision with a small dog.

My dog loves these jerky treats. She gets especially "wiggly" when we go for them. The bag is larger than I expected which is nice. You should know these are fairly "soft" treats so these are not the treats for you if you want something to occupy the dogs attention and/or time. I will buy these again.

Ours is a rescue dog who is as finicky as we've ever seen... and his breath becomes a problem. Luckily he LOVES Yip Yaps! They are like candy to him and they do give temporary relief of his 'dog-breath'. And our order through Amazon was the least expensive (by far) way to get this product.

This product has changed over the years... we don't feel for the better. They used to be denser, crunchier and more to the container. Our dog still enjoys them but does not 'freak out' for them like he used to.

I was a bit skeptical when we first saw these in PetsMart. My dog is still young and has not yet experienced TRUE bad doggie breath, but I'm fighting a war before it begins. She absolutely loved it, and it made her breath smell just like fresh rosemary. Now anytime she is even in the deadest of sleep and she hears that tin jingle she comes running.

Also, I've noticed that it doesnt only fight the breath on the spot, but usually we give her 2 at a time, as treats for a trick or two, and we've noticed her breath smells great for atleast 2-3 days

Our dogs still love them and beg for them, but they don't do a thing for their breath. In the past the Yip Yaps were white and had a peppermint smell to them. And now they are brown and have a meaty smell. I really don't like the change that was made. But as I said our dogs still love them. I would no longer call them breath fresheners. If anything, they add to the bad breath.

Yip Yaps are difficult to find in our area; and when I do they are expensive. The price was a bit less than what I would pay if I could find and that included S&H. The order came very quickly and I had no problems with the seller. Actually got a discount card to use with my next order! I would definitely check out their store next time I need something for our pets.
