I love the colors and the pattern! Its perfect for my dog. Its a little bigger than expected but it still fits her. I bought a large in another pattern also for my other dog that has a slightly bigger neck and is still growing. According to the description, it should fit him since i measured his neck before ordering. But it is too big so I will have to return it to get a size medium. I would just take a few inches off your measurements and go with that.

This collar is great. It shows their spunky personalities. And its wide so its comfortable when it tightens as they pull. I had problems with other tightening collars i have tried where they will stay tight, it wouldnt release when they stop pulling so its just constantly choking. This one is perfect!!! It only tightens as needed and only as much as needed. Its well made and the colors are vibrant. It doesnt look cheap. Ive only had it for a few days but i totally love it. i cant find collars like this at my local petsmart. Will definitely buy more in different patters. they are so pretty!

The item arrived in the condition described. The only problem is the sizing guide. Although the item fits my dog, as her measurements are large according to the packaging, she is a doberman, and has a small neck. If you own a grey hound, dobi, etc. order both the medium and large to see which will fit your "dog-baby" better.

I have a chihuahua (used to have 3 at one time ~ rescued seniors) all who use piddle pads when it's too cold outside, or if I am away for more than 3-4 hours. We purchased this system due to the fact that we have 5 acres of open land and lots of neighboring cows for our dogs to chase. With my 2 older dogs, who have always been able to run loose, we took about two weeks of training them as instructed. They had no problem in learning. We then brought a young dog to our home who had always been enclosed in a yard with chain link fencing. Trained one very briefly, on lowest setting it ran thru boundary fencing, turned up the power, and along with the flags, the dog never ventures near boundary. Two very young strays, with whom we could not train due to the fact that they would not do the leash....put the collars on them, they accidentally went into boundary, with our visual supervision over a period of about a week, and they did not attempt doing that again. We then had to put boundary fencing around the area of where we park our cars, due to the destructive natures of the younger dogs who scratched several cars chasing a cat, they do not enter the boundary zone....in fact, when flags went up, they totally understood their meaning!!! excellent product that works with any age or stubborness of dogs. i highly recommend this product. Also, works just as well after water exposure, as our dogs love the pond, water does not affect the products effectiveness. i give this system 5 stars.

We already have the sport dog in ground fence system and love it! We got this collar for our little dog who is less than 20lbs. It is big on him but can be cut down to size. It fits our Husky perfectly. The little dog was able to get used to it quickly. I had contemplated the smaller versions but with proprietary batteries, it seemed like a poor idea. These collars take a standard 9v and the batteries have lasted nearly a year so far in our other collar without replacement. It is a good system, but not for dogs under 20lbs for sure even though they say as long as their over 10lbs.

I love the invisible fence system these people sell, it was easy to instal and maintain. My only gripe would be on the collars themselves. The screws absolutely suck. Maybe it is just my dogs or even me, but the screws get dirt/sand/debris lodged into the head of the screw and just underneath enough to make turning the screw a pain in the rear. When I need to change the battery, I try to clean the screws out to the best of my ability so I can get a screwdriver in. This is a pain and it seems like there should be a better way. If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to let me know.

I have the full setup from Sport Dog, the underground fence sending unit and four collars. If you click on my name you can read my review on the whole setup. These Collars are by far the best on the market. They are adjustable as far as the correction goes which allows you to turn the shock up or down or to vibrate only. The material the collar is made from is bright orange, somewhat reflective, and very durable material. The collar uses a regular 9 volt battery which last a long time, at least a year. Many of the other collars from other companies use large watch batteries which only last a few months. My collars have had plenty of abuse and water time. They are still working just as they did when they were new.

If you have a large dog and are looking for an underground fence collar, this is by far the best one available.

Awesome collar and in-ground fence system! We bought a second collar when we got our second dog and the receiver works great! We have two big golden retrievers (86 and 90 lbs) who like to run, play and visit with everyone so it was essential that we keep them contained. The collar has adjustable shock/warn strengths. We had to amp it up when the flags disappeared during the snowy weather but we can turn it down now that they've learned not to go past the boundary. One REALLY nice thing is that the battery is a regular one that you can buy anywhere and is much less expensive than some of the little disc batteries required for products like this.

Two reasons to not give it a five star rating: (1) For the amount of money you spend on just one collar, it would have been nice to have the receiver be a little bit smaller. It's just kind of bulky but I would think more so on smaller dogs. (but then the battery would have to be smaller and probably more expensive) (2) We have had the fence system for a few years now and the collar that comes with the receiver cracks and needs to be replaced about once a year. Perhaps not though with more docile dogs but ours play with each other every day and sometimes they get a little rough.

We have been using these pads for our ten-pound chihuaua for about a month. For 3 1/2 years we had used Dry Paws disposable pads (we think they are the best disposables) in a pad holder. If we had known about the EZwhelp pads we would have used them from the beginning. They are sturdy, absorbent, and can be washed and dried on the hottest settings. They also look tidier than a peed-on disposable as the stains are not as obvious. The liquid seems to be well absorbed through the top layer into the middle, absorbent layer, and there is definitely no soaking through to the floor. I like to have six of them on hand and use about one per day (sometimes more frequently). I hang the soiled ones in the garage to air and dry, and when I put the last clean one down I wash and dry the others. So simple, and so much better than sending all those disposables to the landfill. I hate to think how many we have already sent there, but happy no more will go except for the occasional one used for travel. AND, over time the EZwhelp pads will end up costing less than disposables and take up less storage space than the disposables, which we were ordering 100 at time. Definitely the way to go for a pad-trained dog. The 20"X27" works fine for our already pad-trained ten pounder.

I have two dogs that I rescued from Mississippi. One is a Yorkie and the other is a Yorkiepoo. Apparently the woman who owned them never bothered to house train them to go to the bathroom outside. So I bought three of these pads, and the dogs are great in using them. They hold their urine without leaking through. I bought three of them so I can rotate and wash them as needed. I would recommend these for anyone trying to house break a dog.

I have purchased several of these piddle pads in different sizes. I have used them for a couple of years now. I have an indoor Yorkie who uses piddle pads. Most piddle pads on the market are either white or have unattractive prints that scream piddle pad. These are a neutral brown, unobtrusive and don't clash with most decors.

They are thin but as absorbent as any other cloth piddle pads. They launder well. Many cloth piddle pads get all puckery after laundering and don't lie flat after a few washings. I was them on normal and max spin but dry them on the lowest setting. Even my oldest ones still look nearly new. My sister and sister in law (both have multiple Yorkies) also use them and like them. I like them and will buy more in the future.

We have a little Yorkie that doesn't want to be house trained! Started out with disposable pads but could quickly see that was going to get real expensive! Besides, she likes to chew on and shred the disposables. I do change the pad daily probably wouldn't be necessary. They seem to hold the smell in better than the disposables. The color is great! You have to look really close to see if she even used it! I bought 5 of the smaller size to start with. They are actually a wee bit too small. I bought 3 of this size and they are just the right size! I intend to get a few more so I don't wear my washing machine out washing them! I got a rubber maid container with a lid and use it to put the soiled pads in. Works great, can't smell a thing until you remove the lid to add another soiled pad! I also found that putting a small towel under the pad really helps the pad to absorb the urine better. I highly recommend these pads.

These are a great alternative to the disposable piddle pads and far more affordable then other competitive brands (ie Pooch Pads, which are also great but pricey!). I still have an EZwhelp pad that was given to me by my dog's breeder 2 years ago and it's held up well multiple machine washings and all :).

The 20" x 27" pads are very small, even for dogs under 10 lbs, so these are better suited for puppies. The one my breeder gave me is this size and I use it as a temporary backup when it's time to laundry the others. Go directly to the EZwhelp site and you can find larger sizes at equally reasonable prices, though shipping is not included. My dog is just under 10lbs and 27"x32" is a perfect size for him, taking into consideration the available space in my foyer as well. I just ordered 4 new ones so I can minimize the frequency of washings (the dirty ones go into a plastic bag in the basement until it's time to wash them) and with shipping, each pad came to $9.82 not bad!

Long term, these will definitely save you money (disposables are expensive!) and I find these are much more absorbent to boot. I still use the disposables for traveling, but having transitioned completely over to reusable pads has saved me about $30 a month which I now use to splurge on fun toys for my little buddy ;).

Lentek Super Bark Free Pro Series Dog Training Device

My neighbour has a pair of yapping dachshunds. Yap yap yap yap all day long. When I saw this device I saw a light at the end of the tunnel. The reviews for this items were mixed, some people rave about it, some people say it is a waste of time. I am ever the optimist and so purchased one anyway.

It arrived and I slotted in 4 D size batterys and discovered all the problems:

1) Doesn't turn on. This is not described in the product manual. The device has a ON time and and OFF time, when it passes the ON time it switches on and when it passes the OFF time it switches off, obvious, what is less obvious is the fact that the time has to pass the ON time in order to turn on, that is to say that it is not aware of being between the on and off times, the on time is the switch so unless it passes that time it will remain off!

2) The microphone is useless, it doesn't get set off unless the dogs were 6 feet away barking at the device directly. This was on the maximum sensitivity level. When it did go off, far from scaring the dogs they barked more, in fact, I had to turn it off just to shut them up.

3) Barking doesn't set it off, but wind does, so when it was windy the device would set off and the dogs would run out barking again.

4) Not waterproof as it claims. I found my device making a strange buzzing clicking noise, it hadn't been raining but a small amount of dew had run into the device and caused it to break.

5) Fake Speakers. I took it apart to see if I could fix it and discovered that 2 of the 4 speakers are fake.

So to conclude this device has 2 small ultrasonic speakers, not 4 as shown. It annoys dogs and seems to make them bark more. The microphone is useless except for detecting wind blowing. Despite the waterproof claim it breaks if it gets wet.

Well done Super Bark Free Pro! Save your money by simply leaning out of the window and shouting "Would you shut those dogs up NOW, I am trying to sleep".

I sympathise with anyone who lives next to yapping dogs, but sorry this isn't the answer.

I will give it 1 star for the unbelievable cheek of putting 4 speakers on the front and only actually having 2 inside!

As for the reviews on other sites were people raved about this item, based on my experience I am dubious of their authenticity.

My neighbor's two large dogs bark all day and night, without stop. I work at home and couldn't concentrate or sleep. After just two days or so of using this, the dogs kept themselves on the other side of my neighbor's house as well as decreased their amount of barking by at least 90 percent. I hardly ever hear them.

The timer must be set, which can be a pain, but I set it to only go off for one minute a day so it is basically on all the time. I know when the battery is low (about 3 times per year) as the amount of noise from the dogs starts to gradually increase.

The only downside is that the LCD display (used to set the timer) has faded due to sunlight, but this is normal for LCD displays. Unfortunately, I seem to have thrown away the power cord which would have allowed me to change the batteries with having to reset the timer, so I have to buy a new one. My only recommendation is that you cover the LCD display with duct tape to prevent fading.

The way this thing turns on and off is ridiculous! There is no power on button or switch. You have to program the time. Then you program when you want it to turn on. Then you program when you want it to turn off. BUT... then you must wait until the current time passes the "on" time before it will be on, even if your current time is between the on time and off time to begin with. When I first set mine, the current time was 2pm. I set it to come on at 7am and go off at 5pm so I assumed this would power the unit on and I could begin making the sensitivity adjustments. Wrong. I couldn't start making the adjustments until the next day. How ridiculous is that? A simple on/off switch would be better for most people. Also, the way the programing works is that you can not change only one time. For instance, say you realize that you need to change the "on" time, but that the current time and off time are correct. It doesn't matter. You must go through the whole sequence, setting the time, the on time and the off time all over again.

I was so disgusted that I couldn't just turn it on, that I immeditely returned it. So I can't tell you how well it works if it's actually ever turned on. I never got that far with mine.

I bought this to try to control my neighbors neglected dog that is left outside most of the day, and barks at anyone, or anything that it hears, or sees throughout the day including my family whenever we're in our backyard.

As stated in another review this unit looks as if it has 4 speakers, but actually only the bottom 2 speakers work, the other 2 must have been put there to make the unit look more powerful than their lower priced model the Lentek Bark Free Pro, but in all reality as stated on the Lentek web page, the lower priced Lentek Bark Free Pro model actually has a larger coverage area.The description on Amazon and many other sites say it has a 50ft range, but the mfg says it will only cover up to 20 ft.

It will detect a bark from 50', but if it's coverage area is only 20' so what good is that?.

As for the product itself, I'm using it through a 6' stockade fence which the mfg doesn't reccomend, but I have the speakers placed so that they let the sound go through the spaces between the slats(I hung it sidways).

I did notice at first the dog was startled by the sound, but I'm begining to think she's getting used to it, as she's back to my side of the yard again, and doesn't really seem to get bothered when the thing goes off.

It has been a little more quiet throughout the day when we are inside so the boredom barking has gone down a little, so I will give the unit credit for that.

I paid 48.00 shipped, it comes with a 50' power cord, and will also uses 4 d batteries.Not many positive reviews to be found on any of theese ultrasonic bark deterrents, but the fake speaker thing, and the lower coverage range makes me wonder about this company.One would think that coverage would be an important feature.

I guess Lentek knows most people looking at theese products are in dire need of a resolution so they add "Super" + 20 bucks, and make it look more technically advanced, thinking that desperate people will jump on it,just like myself.For 25 dollars I'd have no problem keeping this unit, but for 50 I'll see how it goes, and maybe return.

I only give it 2 stars because the mfgs attempt at misleading consumers, otherwise I'd give it 3 since it does seem to work a little.Not exactly as good as I hoped, but even a little is something.

I have seen a few positive reviews for the bird house unit, so if I return this one I will give that one a shot, even though it's a few more dollars.

January 11, 2011: After trying two of these, I found (as others have noted) that the timer mechanism on this device is defective, rendering the product unreliable. Though the device may deter barking when it is powered on, the timer mechanism is so unpredictable that you will never know whether it is "on" unless you stand in your yard all day and stare at it [though seeing the power light in daylight is nearly impossible]. You simply cannot expect it to be on at the proper time.

The manufacturer has confirmed to me that the product is flawed and cannot give an estimate as to when a reliable replacement will be available. I recommend to Amazon buyers that you steer clear of this device until you see some positive reviews posted AFTER this date. And to Amazon, I say: take this product out of your inventory!

Gentle Spray Citronella Refill

This was purchased as an extra.

The spray sense collar works well.

The spray is not offensive to humans, very mild odor.

The unscented spray didn't work so I thought the citronella might have that extra kick. I was wrong. The only benefit it that if they bark a lot outside the bugs noticeably stay away. So that's nice.

KONG Naturals Double Scratcher Cat Toy

I usually buy Fat Cat Kitty Hoots Big Mama's Scratchy Box Double Wide Purple but when I bought a cat tree I thought I wouldn't need this anymore. My cat proved me wrong when he started going after the office chair. Not wanting to wait for shipping, I bought the Kong scratcher at a local pet store and he seems to like it just as well as the Fat Cat. This is good news since he didn't like the generic PetSmart version.

When I first put it down, he rolls around in the catnip and falls asleep. I don't refresh the catnip but I see him everyday, at least once, go over to the box to either scratch or lie on it. He especially likes to go over to it when we come home for a good scratch and stretch before greeting us. The doublewide box perfectly fits his 11 pound frame.

The Fat Cat scratcher is tackier looking as it's purple with yellow tassels. Beige, this is more neutral looking and isn't such an eyesore. It's not as easy to flip the cardboard because it's more secured on the Kong version. Also, the Kong box warped. so it pooches out on the sides of the cardboard a bit.

My girl kitty doesn't usually scratch the box. She seems to prefer the upright posts on the cat tree but she'll come lie on it and chew on the edges.

Every cat has their own preferences... this is a cheap potential solution to save the furniture.

I thought I was ordering the refill for the incline Kong Scratcher. This product is what was brought up when I put "Kong Refill" in the search engine. Now with that said, I still like the product. I just leaned it against something and the cats took to it immediately. My incline had been used so much (and reversed) that they couldn't use it the way it was intended. The local pet store is selling this scratcher for $11.99 for 1. They also think this is a refill for the incline scratcher. Kong CS2 is just a scratcher, not a refill. I saved money buying 2 of these.

We have 3 cats and we've used cardboard scratchers for them before. Usually, about 2-3 weeks after we put one out, we need to flip it over and give them the second side. great product!!! purchased this product by hearing about it through web advertisements. jumped on the company site and watched the infomercial so to speak, thought i would give this product a try on my pet stains (some of which were already set in the carpet). I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! the reusable bottle and the tablets are so easy to put together and better for the economy. on the pet stains i have tried other products and they have not gotten out the set in stains like this product has done. it even removees the set in stains that the other products had left behind from their use. great product!!! works on every pet stain, and i have a carpet that is hard to get stains out! works amazing!!!!!!!

Fizzion is absolutely the best product for removing pet odor! Just used it this weekend on carpets in three rooms that had the most stubborn cat urine odor problem. Had tried for literally years to remove these odors, using every product out there and they either did not work or the odor came back in less the 24 hours we always ended up disappointed and very frustrated. We were at the end of our rope and thought that nothing was ever going to truly work. BUT then quite by accident we heard about Fizzion, looked it up online, liked what we read (and the cheap price, especially compared to what we had spent on other products!) and the many positive reviews and decided to give it a try. WOW! It worked! We mixed up a gallon using four tablets, used it instead of water in our Bissel Pro Heat carpet cleaner and it did the job like no other ever has! We just keep walking around with smiles on our faces and can't believe the odor is finally gone! We've already ordered more so we will never be out! We highly recommend Fizzion and encourage everyone with any pet odor problem to buy this and use it with confidence it will be the best decision you have ever made. Very light and fresh, not overpowering as so many of them are the scent also vanishes very quickly even if you use a lot, which we did (it took two gallons to thoroughly remove the odor from the three rooms).

It gets both stains and odors out that other cleaners haven't been able to. It actually smells really good when spraying it as well. They do trick you into thinking you will be getting more than you actually are on Amazon though.. This is just an empty spray bottle and two tablets.. and it takes both tablets to fill the bottle. In other words you actually get one full bottle (After mixing water and tablets) and no refill whatsoever, and they trick you into thinking you get two refills with clever wording. (Telling you it is a 2-pack refill but not that it takes 2 tabs or the initial bottle is empty.)
