Watch Buddy at play with one of these little gadgets, and you'll see that the bird forgets about everything else in the world, just for those few moments. Buddy gets rough with it, and he eventually broke the mirror on one of them, but the mirror is plastic, not glass, so I don't see a problem there. The only danger I would anticipate would be if you mount the toy to the side or top of a cage, because the vigorous grabbing and playing could cause the toy to swing back and hit the bird. I decided to leave the phone loose to prevent that happening. It's hard to tell whether Buddy hates it with a passion or if he is just playing. Birds do get totally involved in games just as kids do, and Buddy's feathers display the same way when we are playing tug of war with old socks or old feathers, or even playing catch with socks.

My African Grey loves this thing... For the beating it takes it's holding up very well. It can be a bit obnoxious so I don't leave it in his cage 24/7

ROSCOE, my big male blue and gold macaw, is a large male bird and destroys any toy he gets. Immediately, he loved this toy because of the large buttons, flashing lights, and pre-recorded sounds/phrases: HELLO!; I LOVE YOU!; [laughing sounds]; and another phrase we can't understand. However, the first thing ROSCOE did is to try to split the toy in two, which he successfully would have until I stopped him. Thus, my advice for customers with large and strong parrots, including macaws, is to watch and monitor playtime with this VERY COOL toy -because, while it is designed for large parrots with its big buttons, it can be easily cracked in half like a big red nut. Right now, ROSCOE is calling to me so that I will play with the new toy again -he loves it!

POST SCRIPT [THREE DAYS LATER]: My macaw broke off the mirror and then yanked out the inner wiring within two minutes of unmonitored playtime. This toy is broken and now in the trash, but it was fun for three days. WAS IT WORTH EIGHT DOLLARS?!

I actually bought this for one of my 3 parrots and they are all fighting over it. So of course I ordered 2 more!! (on its way) I have in the past bought children's toy phones but they are boring to my parrots. As with ALL parrot toys, yes you need to monitor them while they play with it. My birds just love to smack the heck out of the phone but some may try to chew it up. I am happy with this product.

This is a fantastic system to use when training crazy young puppies and dogs! It keeps your dog safely attached to you, leaving both of your hands free to Click your clicker, give hand signals, and treat your dog! This product feels very sturdy and well made. The leash material is very thick and feels like it will stand up well to prolonged use. All of the buckles and the leash clasp feel sturdy as well. The leash clasp can unbuckle from the leash itself (as you can see in the stock photo) so you can let your dog roam or swim, and then hook them back up after. The leash section itself can also unbuckle, allowing you to use it just like a normal leash and is adjustable from 22" 40".

As a group dog class instructor, this has become an invaluable tool for me. I can hook my demo dog to me, and gesture with my hands while giving demonstrations, without one of my hands being tied up holding a leash.

I also recommend this product to clients that are having trouble with leash pulling, as it helps prevent you from allowing your dog to pull your arm in different directions. You're strongest at your trunk (around hips, waist) so it gives you better control of a pulling dog and they are less likely to pull you over, though I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with lower back issues.

I also love this for hiking trips when my dog can't be off leash because I can adjust how much leash to give him and it's almost like he is off leash, but I still have 2 hands free to take photos. I haven't bought any of the accessory leashes, but I'm seriously considering the bungee leash for hikes as well.

I would definitely buy this product again and recommend it to all of my dog training clients.

My male Rottweiler has allergies and can have these snacks without worry. Unfortunately, they are hard to find, extremely expensive at more than $10 a bag (about 14 small bones,) and the shipping and handling costs are KILLER. Omega Paw is not at all interested in making the product more easily accessible or selling in bulk. Frustrating.

Although only one of my dogs has allergies, I give these to all of them. Despite the fact that they have berries in them, I have not noticed any stains on my carpet. One thing, though, if you have aggressive chewers, they go pretty quickly.

My dog has a very sensitive stomach and is on an almost vegetarian diet. He LOVES these bones! I was afraid they would only last about one minute, but he gets about 15-30 minutes of chewing pleasure from them, so they are a great snack for him. Every dog is different, so some might just devout it in a couple of minutes, others will get longer. My dog is probably a medium chewer...he was a really destructive chewer when he was young. Now we are sitting here with $170.00 worth of something that is going to be an ongoing fight. I've only had the collar for a week and only now had the chance to use it in the field ... all I can say is WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I should say that my dog already knew basic commands like "Come", "Sit", "Stay", "Heel", and "Down" but getting him to do those things off-lease was a real challenge. With the radio collar, things are a snap. Games of fetch are now actually fun for both of us. He used to run after the ball, catch it, but then proceed to not come back with it. Prompts of treats didn't help past the first one or two throws. After only two "tickles" on the lowest setting (and we really are talking a "tickle" here ... I tested it on myself and the lowest setting is far less than you might get from a shock from walking on synthetic or wook carpeting), he now makes a bee line back to me after only getting the tone prompt. With only one tickle at the lowest setting, he's even heeling off lease as we walk home from throwing the ball. Truly ... if you have a dog who already knows basic commands and you'd like to be able to take him off-lease for games (or hunting as the product description states) this is a wonderful product. This is not a substitute for training but is a very effective supplement to it. All my dog needed was the reinforcement that I meant the commands I was giving him even off-lease.

An additional kudos to the Petsafe company ... the originally shipped transmitter (the part that looks like a little FRS radio) was defective making the set essentially useless. One call to Petsafe and they replaced the transmitter with a new one with no problelm.

I had owned one before (the 400) and this one is much better, better range and my dog really listens to this. I am not cruel in using this I mainly use the short zap button which is enough to remind her to listen and I don't have to turn it up onto the max setting. She is a very strong willed dog and refuses to listen sometimes and needs to be reminded. Many times the tone alone is enough to get her attention. The charge lasts longer on this unit than my old one also, expensive but a very good buy if you need help in controlling a strong willed dog. Just be careful, don't let the kids use this (they may deliver too much shock and hold the buttons too long) and make sure you are not cruel in it's use. This is a tool which if used right will make a world of difference in you dog's behavior. There are times when you need control but you can't catch up to the dog or it is too far away to want to listen. I am happy with this purchase and would reccommend it.

I've had the Sport Dog training collar for 2 weeks now. It was a replacement for a "cheap" ($100) one from W.Mart that used watch batteries on the collar and a 9V on the transmitter. After buying more batteries than I care to admit, I finally bought this one. Both the receiver and transmitter batteries recharge by a wall plug (at the same time) and the unit is waterproof which is great. The dog responds well to one of the low settings and has quickly gotten used to the tone to avoid the zap. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating was that the batteries need to be recharged every other day if you leave it on. It's not an issue, I would just prefer to have larger capicity batteries. Add that to the lifetime warranty and it has been a good deal so far.

I was looking for a training collar for my large dogs. I bought this along with the Add-a-dog collar because I had been told good things about this brand. When I received the product, however, I was disappointed to find that there was only one mode available when you had two collars attached. In this mode, I could only shock each dogI could not warn them with a pager or tone. While I think this product would work great with just one dog, (there are a lot of different settings), it is not a great two dog system. Also, to switch back and forth between one dog use and two dog use, you have to insert a sharp point in the back of the transmitter to reset the whole unit. I decided to go with something better.

My dog Nikki absolutely LOVES these. She likes the liver ones alot, too, but has grown tired of the carrot ones. But as for these, she'd cross the desert for one. So you should definitely buy them and give them to Nikki, especially if you live on the edge of the desert. Just face the desert, hold one up--she's a sighthound--and yell, "Nikki! Peanut Chiplet!" She will appreciate it. You can give some to your dog, too, as Nikki's not the jealous type.

Perhaps the reason these are so good is they are basically unadulterated food. They say it's just five ingredients (peanut butter, whole wheat flour, whole rolled oats, bran and water, but judging from how noisy they are (crunchy), there's not much water in them.

My dog loved the Liver Chiplets, but won't even try these. Also, they are much larger and harder than the liver chiplets I used to get, but cant seem to find anymore. I totally wasted my money.

We purchased the peanut flavor chiplets when the regular flavor was out of stock. Our dog seems to like the peanut flavor equally as well as the regular flavor (What dog doesn't like peanut butter??). The only negative is that these chiplets arrived with an air bubble in center of each chiplet, probably formed during the baking process. We cut each chiplet in half to help the dog control her weight. When we try to cut these chiplets in half, the air bubble causes the chiplet to crumble, which creates a mess. Otherwise, the dog loves the product.

great product!!! purchased this product by hearing about it through web advertisements. jumped on the company site and watched the infomercial so to speak, thought i would give this product a try on my pet stains (some of which were already set in the carpet). Fizzion is absolutely the best product for removing pet odor! Just used it this weekend on carpets in three rooms that had the most stubborn cat urine odor problem. It gets both stains and odors out that other cleaners haven't been able to. It actually smells really good when spraying it as well. They do trick you into thinking you will be getting more than you actually are on Amazon though.. This is just an empty spray bottle and two tablets.. and it takes both tablets to fill the bottle. In other words you actually get one full bottle (After mixing water and tablets) and no refill whatsoever, and they trick you into thinking you get two refills with clever wording.
