My dog really looks forward to these treats. We have tried other brands that she refuses to eat after a few days. And they work on my lawn too. With a female dog you have to be careful of brown/ yellow splotches on your lawn and these treats help eliminate those unsightly spots.

These treats work better than nothing at all I suppose but we still have some yellowing. Previously, I had some treats that were a meaty flavor and the female dog liked them better than these. I have a male who will eat anything. However, I am told it is only the female dogs that cause the yellowing of grass. That said, I have not researched this. . .

There are a lot of cat treats on the market. Some my cats like, some they don't. PureBites Chicken treats are made of real, freeze dried chicken. The package says it is made in the USA. So, they appear to be safe, quality controlled, and healthy. The are a bit more pricey than some other treats, but my cats lick up every morsel. I highly recommend the product. If you can't find the "Cat" treats, look for it in Dog treats. Same product, just a little "bigger pieces" which are easily broken or cut into a smaller size for cats.

I chose this product because it is a great treat for a diabetic or a fat cat. Real chicken nothing else, so it is very low in carbs but high in protein. My cats go crazy for it too, they apparently love the taste.

My cat is on a prescription diet for bladder stones. She can no longer eat regular cat food. I tried this brand because my cat had a tooth pulled and it was hard to bite hard food. This freeze dried chicken is white meat and easy to chew and swallow. I've never seen my cat react so favorably to a treat before! She goes nuts over this! It's not a soft food, but a freeze dried texture. It is a treat, not a substitute for food. But it's healthy and with no additives! Better value online at Amazon too.

Product works well but you have to replace the batteries every 2 weeks. Also the turn on/off button on the collar is placed so that an active dog can accidently turn off the receiver.

A Few thing I don't like about this product:

-The collar loosens and has come off by itself. It may seem like an innovative collar design to have both a buckle and a clasp, but it's not. It's a very cheap collar. As another reviewer stated, it's worth buying a quality collar to replace the el-cheapo one that comes with the device. (Hey, I bought one from the grocery store for 4 dollars that is higher quality). Also, because it's very important to have a dog bark collar that is snug, but not overly tight or too loose, a buckle is terrible idea. The holes in the collar are at about 1 inch increments so your most likely not going to get the best fit. Buy a collar that allows for a custom fit.

-Other reviewer's mention that the collar repeatedly shocks their dog for no reason at all. I've also experienced this and it was due to user error. I had my mini-aussie sitting in the truck next to me and I was talking in her ear telling her she's a good girl and I saw her head bob as it does when she is getting a static correction. I looked at the collar and the setting was set to 'test'. She was getting shocked each time I talked to her. Setting it to off or a regular setting fixed the problem. Kind of a design mistake if you ask me. I don't like the thought that I could accidentally leave the device on test while I'm in a hurry to get out the door and my dog gets shocked the rest of the day. It's the lowest setting shock, but just moving or slight sounds set it off. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T LEAVE IT ON TEST MODE.

-The RFA-97 proprietary batteries. While they are not going to break the bank at 4 for ~13 dollars plus shipping, it does add up. (My first battery was depleted in aprox. 6 weeks of continuous usage). Another reviewer briefly mentions that she was able to pry the battery out and replaced it. I have not done this and instead was able to find a company on ebay that mentioned their website rfa97 (I don't want to directly link, but you can search for RFA67 Battery Holder). disclaimer: I have not yet used this product, so I can't comment on it. But I can say that it will save me money because it uses the ubiquitous cr-2032 watch batteries. Shame on pet safe for profiteering on a battery revenue.

What I like about the collar:

-Seems to work better then my other cheaper pet safe model. I was using a cheaper brand for a while but lost it around the house. (fell into the couch cushions!) I still needed a bark collar, so I spent a long time reading reviews before I settled on the pdc-300. I have to say that it has been a night and day change with my dog. She used to herd other dogs and not care about the static correction on the cheaper model, but this model has 3 levels of adaptive correction and when it's on 2 of 3, one bark is enough and she quiets down. The collar works from the start and keeps her calm to avoid escalation of her barking. I was about to get kicked out of the place I"m living because of her, and just today my landlord said she has seen a huge improvement.

**KEEP IN MIND static correction is not a substitute for exercising your dog. Your dog may be barking because he/she is bored. Exercise your dog for at least 45mins-2 hours a day (depending on breed) and keep it up. In a few weeks you will see the difference Exercise is fun for you and your dog. Yes, you do have the time. Just because it gets dark outside when you come home is no excuse. Train your dog to run on a treadmill or buy an LED meteorlite ball that lights up the night (also sold on amazon) and play fetch with your dog in the dark.

I gave the product a 3 out of 5 stars due to what I view as shortcomings of the product. However, it's better than most of the collars on the market, so I would still recommend it.

I bought one of the collar as pictured directly from the PetSafe website. It was the best I've had of three different types of bark collars because it doesn't fire when the dog shakes his head, and the adjustable dial gives me control over the severity of the "reminder" the dog receives. A school play yard is adjacent to my backyard, and the dogs would bark hysterically whenever the children were outside, driving my wonderful neighbors nuts. It worked so well on my younger Schnauzer that I decided to get another one for the older Schnauzer. The new collar arrived with a different buckle arrangement than the one in the picture. It has the black plastic snap fastener, a metal buckle, holes for the buckle tongue to go through, and a black plastic holder for the excess strap. All this gear on a little mini Schnauzer neck is not a pretty sight! The holder piece broke, so I have to weave the excess strap under the collar so it doesn't flap around. Now, the good news: Amazon.com is sending me a free replacement, and I don't have to send back the one I have until the new one arrives! Way to go, Amazon.com!

Just a note for the unaware: smart dogs who really want to bark quickly learn that they can bark through the series of six shocks at the first (mildest) level, then they won't get shocked again for quite some time. That's a safety feature built into the collar, and can make one think the collar isn't working. This particular problem can be overcome by adjusting it up a notch on this collar! A nice feature!

Another note: DO NOT LEAVE THE COLLAR ON THE DOG FOR MORE THAN 12 HOURS AT A TIME. My grandson was at a customer's house and noticed a neglected dog in the back yard that never had the collar removed. He had developed sores on his neck from the contact points. The owner was reported to the animal safety people. ... The collar itself is not cruel, but owners sure can be! I've used the collar on my dog for over five years, being careful to remove it every night, and there is no sign of injury from it.

Update, 12/28/11 The metal buckle on the second collar mentioned above wore out the collar. The working part the box with battery still works great, but the collar is shot. There are no replacement collars available, so I had to buy a regular collar to adapt for the use. The first replacement had a snap collar and a fairly wide band, which is what i wanted. I had to disassemble the collar to remove the metal ring that I was afraid might make contact with the prongs and cause inadvertent zaps. After doing that, I discovered that the snap buckle with it's sturdy metal casing was so heavy that it caused the collar to spin on the dog's neck, getting the control box out of position and rendering the collar ineffective. Second collar, plastic snap buckle, MUCH effort getting three holes through the collar to place the control box, and we have a successful replacement. When the collar needs replacing again, I will take it to a shoe-repair place to have the holes put in it. Beats buying a whole new collar!

This is an excellent collar/training system.. PetSafe is a reliable company that takes pet care seriously. My dogs took to the collars so well, they only need to wear them as a reminder a few hours a week. They actually go the hang of it after just one doorbell/bark session and actually stayed away from the door the entire time they had the collars on. If the kids get the dogs going, all I have to do is grab a collar and show them and they settle down immediately. There is an intimidation factor present and it works wonderfully. The nylon section is strong and durable and I have had nothing but good luck with the product. I would highly recommend it to anyone who cringes every time a visitor rings your doorbell or a squirrel passes by. It truly helps them keep control without you lifting a finger. Excellent product!

I have 3 dogs (2 mini-dachshunds and a mutt), and decided to invest in this for the instigator of the bark-fest that takes place at my house daily. I tried an ultra-sonic device that didnt do anything, along with other behavioral things. My husband was ready to get rid of the dogs and I was getting a little nutty. This was worth every penny.

I started on the weakest setting and that worked fine for my dog. When the collar gave a "correction", my dog yelped, and would run into her kennel, which made me feel horrible. It took only about 3 "corrections" over the course of the week to transform my dog into being a church mouse.

Since my other dogs took up the barking given up by the instigator, I rotated it among my 3... until the mutt got ahold of it and chewed off the dial....

A couple of things... You have to buy the special batteries by Petsafe for this, which is sort of a pain. It is also rather bulky for smaller dogs.

Precision Pet Products Little Stinker Housebreaking Pads

I use these pads for my chihuahua while I'm not at home. This are the best pads that I have used. I first used them to train my dog. After I moved, I could no longer find them sold in stores so I bought a brand from Petco. There is such a difference between the two pads. Little Stinker is thicker and absorbs better than the other pads. Also, the pads could be used for a few days without having to change them every day. Once my dog used the other potty pads I had to change them immediately or else they would smell so bad. Just wish the price wasn't so high but it is well worth the cost.

I think I have tried almost all pads sold by Amazon, this is how I would rate them:

Prevail: (Super Absorbent, best, Fluff, very good)

Precision Pet: (Good, too expensive)

Iris (pretty good, cheap, too small)

Out (cheap but not that good)

Hartz (same as above)

Arm & Hammer (worst)

If you have a small dog, then these pads are pretty good, my dog is quite old and weights 32 lbs. I need to put several pads and find the Prevail Super Absorbent to be the best by far for about the same price as these. I will not pay over $40 for a pad of this size again. I took a star off for price and another for size, which is still larger than all the other ones mentioned but not nearly as large as Prevail for about the same price.

My yorkie-poo has been getting these bones for about a year now. They are literally the ONLY thing we've found that completely neutralized his breath when it gets stinky. I bought an individual Z-Bone dental chew, Carrot Crunch flavor, from my local pet store before deciding to order the large size. I wanted to be sure my miniature poodle would like them. I am so glad I did test it out. When I gave it to him, he didn't seem too interested in it at first. He left it for several hours before finally deciding to eat it. The next morning, bright and early, we awoke to him vomiting in his crate. Looking at the vomit, I could see small chunks of the Z-Bone dental chew. I guess I should have watched him closer to see that he was thoroughly chewing the bone (he's never had this problem before). Since he didn't, he wasn't able to digest it. So, I recommend buying the individual one first then watching your dog to be sure he chews it well. They seem like a great product, but just not the right one for my dog. I will stick to Get Naked dental chews. He really likes them and digests those just fine.

Dog Tricks Volume 2 - Dog & Puppy Training DVD

I purchased Volume 1 and 2 of the Dog Tricks DVD, and as I said about the first one, the Instruction is very clear and simple. My Dog has pretty much mastered all the tricks in volume 2 and he loves the time we spend training for the tricks and the attention he gets when he completes them.

This video is best used in conjunction with other methods. They are short clips on how to get a specific response from your dog. It's not really a "training" video. Assuming you already have some training experience or skills in place (and let's hope you do because this doesn't teach "sit, stay or off" which are needed immediately when you get home from the SPCA or breeder with your dog) this is an amazing video to get your dog to do some specific things very quickly. For me, it has been a great supplement to training classes as well as books. The training methods are kind and fun for both person and dog. They are tricks, some useful, some just cute.

Big disappointment. I wish I could get my money back. These DVDs show trained dogs doing tricks but if you have an untrained dog you would do much better with something like the Bow Wow series by Virginia Broitman and Sherri Lippman.

I've been training my dogs, going to obedience school plus working with videos like Train Your Dog The Positive Gentle Method (which my dogs and I highly recommend) so we felt ready to learn tricks and tried this video.

Well, for the price you'd think it would be... easy to follow, but no. Instead of showing how it's done, it's narrated. The narrator's talking about what to do, but the video being shown is the dog chewing treats or something else that doesn't really help much. Most of the video were just short clips put together instead of showing the process of how it's done.

As for the narrated instructions, it would be like reading a book on how to teach tricks, so I'd suggest, just get a book. You can check out this one The Everything Dog Training and Tricks Book I also found a lot of free videos to watch on line that are more helpful.

Last thing, the video is soo short, maybe like 20 minutes or so, with 10 tricks!

To the trainer, if you ever read this comment, maybe you can put together a more step-by-step video, something like how they did the Train Your Dog video but on tricks. Thanks!

Steel Coated Dog Collar in Purple

I bought 3 of these Choker Chains in the 26" Length in Pink, Purple & Blue. The Choker Chains are Very Sturdy & thick, BUT the Color Coating on them could stand some Improvement! When I Received the Chains in the mail, All 3 Chains had Paint chipped off of them & missing! Disappointing!!! The Color of the chains are Awesome....but the technique used in bonding the paint to the metal chains could stand to be Improved!! Other than the Color chipping off of these chains, they're a good Sturdy Choker. Just be forewarned....the paint WILL Chip off of these!

I initially ordered this one size smaller and the quality was great. Reordered 1 size larger and a total of 5 of this type in different sizes and colors. Paint quality was not great. On 3 of them the paint must not have dried before they put it in the plastic hangers, as those three had very sharp paint edges sticking up. The colors are all beautiful (I ordered electric blue, candy apple red, bubble gum pink, purple, and lime green.) What a shame there isn't better quality control on this product. Incidently, as the length goes up; the the links are larger and much heavier. The 20 inch collar I bought is actually quite heavy a little too heavy, I think, for the gentler breeds

My dog loves these treats, he even loves the crinkly sound of the pouch while I'm opening it.

They are not the most nutritious dog treat. I've been using them to encourage good behavior in my dog.

These contain chicken liver, chicken by-products, corn, glycerin and high fructose corn syrup.

My dog is much happier with these treats than I am. It pays to read the labels.

Because there are better dog treats, I won't be buying them again.

I wouldn't recommend them above other snacks and treats.

My maltese, Riley loves these treats! We first saw them at our vet and then I was searching for them in stores. They are not available everywhere. They are a real hit at my house, even my Golden Retriever loves them.

I was very excited to find these tiny training treats for our 5 month old silky terrier. When it arrived, I saw that they contain propylene glycol (a toxin found in antifreeze and low-quality dog food). "Super cool entertainment for my border collie". She loves it when I throw her toy balls through it for a game of chase. It took her two days to get brave enough to enter it (imagine me and my husband trying to crawl through the tunnel to demonstrate how fun it was to a dog (it was hilarious) Isabelle, our dog would just stare at us as if we were nuts; then we finally enticed her by throwing her toys in the tunnel), now she's hooked. I like storing the tunnel away after usage because she gets mega excited when I bring it out to the back yard (this means obvious playtime for her)). The quality is good, I've had it for five months during the florida springtime winds and now the very warm spring weather...it still looks new so far (we use it a lot). ". In fact, just writing this review makes me want to go outside and play tunnel ball with Isabelle again, so I will. Enjoy!

I got this tunnel for my dog's birthday, which is super corny but he really likes tunnels. For the price, it's not a bad investment but it is not made of durable fabric so you have to treat it with care. It has a large enough opening for my 60 lb dog to run through without any issues. It comes with some stakes and ties so that you can secure it to the ground because the material is so lightweight that a dog running through will cause it to move. It also comes in a handy dandy storage case which is made of the same not-durable material as the tunnel. Mine has already ripped. Pack it up when it's not in use and don't leave it outdoors! Good for once in awhile fun, not durable enough for heavy or everyday use.

I was satisfied about the entire product. First off, the price was fairly low for an 18 ft agility tunnel. Second, the product arrived quickly and right on the estimated arrival date. It came in a large but thin cardboard box, which was sealed only by tape but it was enough tape so that the product did not open during travel. The carrying case has a zipper and is the same blue color as the tunnel. It has 2 black crafty handles right by the zipper, which makes it really easy to carry. The stakes came in a blue bag, probably slightly smaller than or equal to the size of a ruler. I recommend using the stakes otherwise your tunnel will definitely move when your dogs are inside. The actual tunnel itself is amazing. It has loops on the sides so you can put the stakes through into the ground. The opening is big enough that I could even crawl through very comfortably. It is also durable, my dogs can run through without tearing it everytime they use it. Although it is durable, I do not recommend leaving it out after each use because the dogs could easily damage it if they do not have proper supervision (i.e. drag it, tear it with their teeth, jump on top and bend the coil inside, etc). The tunnel has strings attached that allow you to tie the tunnel up so it can fit in its carrying case. Very easy to store. Overall, I am very pleased with the product, and my dogs love it too.

looks just like the picture. 18' long and 24" diameter just as described... fabric is pretty thin, but that is expected at this price. build quality seems pretty good and the carrying case is a nice bonus. dogs like it just as much as the professional agility tunnels and had no problem using it.

It is not very sturdy. Maybe would be fine for very small dogs, but my lab used it only a few times and it's already coming apart at the seams.

On the surface there isn't anything special about this clicker. You press the button you get a nice clear "click" noise, pretty normal for a clicker. BUT the thing that makes this clicker so much more then other clickers is the finger strap! It stretches and fits any finger or thumb you want it on. Now you are set! You can press it with another finger, your thumb, the palm of your hand, your thigh, the table that is near, or whatever.

You won't drop this clicker, or not have it exactly where you need it to be when you are training. It is always exactly where you need it to be, no fumbling, no juggling it and trying to hold it with the same fingers trying to hold a treat, a leash, a target or whatever.

When training it is so important to pay attention to your dog so that you can catch the right moment to click so the dog knows the exact second that he did the right behavior. With other clickers you have to keep a bit of your mind thinking about where is the clicker, is it where I need it to be so I can hit that button at the exact moment I need to, am I going to drop it when I have to juggle other training items, treats, etc?

With this clicker there is one less distraction, one less worry, one less item to drop or hold onto. It's always exactly where you put it, always exactly where you need it to be.

I had been using the StarMark clicker which was chewed up by the puppy when I carelessly mis-placed it. While searching for another StarMark, came across this clicker, I thought it's an excellent concept because one can free up the hand without holding onto the clicker all the time. The main problem is the clicking sound is way too soft, you had to literally hold it in front of the dog. Try the StarMark and you will see the huge difference. We cannot do out door training as the sound is way too soft. Back to StarMark again, but this time, I am modifying it to allow straping onto my finger.

I love the convenience of having the clicker attached to my finger and the shape fits well in the same hand with the leash.

There are two issues with this clicker. First is that the click is quite soft. I have insulated my other clickers to soften the sound, but this is even softer. It's not a big deal at home, but when traffic and other loud noises come up, the dog can't always hear it. I keep another clicker with me just in case, when I'm training outside.

The second issue is that the band is tight. I have average sized female fingers and the band cut off circulation causing pain (and the color of my fingers matched the clicker!). I have found a convenient way to wear it without this being too much a problem, and I would buy it again.

I have 3 of these clickers. No matter what position I place them in prior to clicking, the buttons get stuck under the rim of the circle and opps......no click. No behavior marked. Missed opportunity. It doesn't happen every time, but, it happens often. In one training session of about 10 min, all three had gotten stuck. I love the design, but the quality just doesn't work for me. I have a different one that clips onto anything, on this site it is sold as petco clicker. It was the same price as the others and I have never had an issue with it. It also has a crisper click sound to it. I prefer that brand and if it came with free shipping, I would order several from this site.

I would not purchase this brand of clicker, it's made too cheaply. I am able to get the button out with fiddling, but, three to five minutes later, where's the dog????

Good idea but far too quiet to use anywhere but in a place with no noise at all. If your dog is afraid of the clicker noise, this might be a good choice because it is so quiet. If you have a crazed,leaping dog like mine, this is just too soft.

PetSafe Pet Door Replacement Flap

Since this is a replacement flap for PetSafe patio panel dog door, the product should not be a surprise it's just like the flap that came with the patio door panel when it was new. However, the Amazon description gives the wrong dimensions. Likely this will put a number of people off from buying one. Anyway, compare by the model number and you should be good to go.

This flap worked perfect as a replacement for my old ripped flap. I really wish the product description included the dimensions, it would hav been helpful to know I was ordering the right size. The approximate opening size is 8.5" wide by 11.5" tall.

My old flap was curled around the edges and the magnets didn't work right when it got cold out. Needless to say in the winter it leaked a lot of air. I ordered the large flap. It fits perfect in a 10.25 by 15.5 inch opening. Was a good deal with free shipping.

Pretty pricy for a piece of plastic! Each web site had a slightly different size listed for this model # of door flap & even within the same ad there were several discrepancies in the measurements. After measuring my door numerous times (even removing the door to make sure I had accurate numbers) I felt this was the correct flap. Mine did not have the brand name on it but after reviewing the sizes available for sale I was sure this had to be the one. It fit well except it was 1/4'" short. If you run into this problem you might try what I did, which was to remove the bottom rail, drill new screw holes ¼" up & reattach the bottom rail to meet the bottom edge of the flap. Otherwise it is the same quality of an original "Petsafe" flap which seems to last about 3-4 years. I currently have installed in my home one "petsafe" model for a sliding patio door & 2 other generic doggie doors. All flaps seem to warp leak or tear after about 3-4 years.
