The photo being shown for this product is of the carton that holds 100 count. Besides the photo, there is no mention in the product details of the number of pads in the package. I therefore only assumed it was what was shown in the photo. It seemed to be a great deal and was also shippable under Amazon Prime. However, upon receipt of my order today, what was shipped was the package with only 30 count. I will be returning it back to Amazon tomorrow. Needless to say, this is a gross misrepresentation by the seller and tarnishes the Amazon Prime brand.

The previous reviewer does a disservice rating these pads on the number of pads in the package, rather than on the product. These are the best pads I've found so far. They absorb more liquid than the many other brands I've tried, minimizing tracking. I highly recommend them!

Simple Solution Washable Diapers

Per the last reviewer, all dogs are different. I have to agree, this diaper wrap (aka cumberbund) is more for the occasional "leaker." My dog is almost 14 and is on alot of medicine including diuretics. While awake he would never pee, however, when sound asleep he may leak, sometimes quite a bit. You really should purchase the pads that go with the wrap: When used both together the system works great. (You can also used regular sanitary napkins-my girlfriend lent me a couple-something I never thought would happen :-) I can now have my dog sit or lay with me on the furniture and not have to worry about him leaking on the fabric or on a rug or the wood floors.

Again all dogs are different and he barely seems to notice that he has the wrap on. He was used to it immediately. I sized the wrap according to his waist size and not his body weight. Had I gotten the wrap sized according to body weight it would have been too small and possibly uncomfortable. It does shrink somewhat in the wash as well.

One other thing it stays on great with a very wide velcro band closure. The wideness of the band allows you to adjust looser or tighter as needed.

For us, it's a god send. Hope this review helps!

Our chow was starting to have little 'droplets' accidents. We saw this item and tried it out....before doing any research! Well, we lucked out!

This item is perfect, it fits her perfectly and haven't had any problems since. We bought the pupster liners, just to see what the 'recommended' product looked like, and human feminine liners/pads are doing the job just wonderfully for way cheaper.

Hopefully this will keep her around and enjoying life without her being embarassed. I say this because when she would let out a few drops, she would turn around immediately and start licking up her mess.

She is partially deaf and blind, so she's very skittish when we try to put it on her, so we distract her by giving her medicine in a turkey frank, while putting it on her and that seems to work as well.

She's 16 years old and has declining health, but still has some pep in her step.

Now I know they have the bands for the boys, but it did recommend that a size bigger would fit the boys. I have a yorkshire terrier who gets excited really easily and pees all over from it. This diaper fit big but just the way his anatomy is he can still pee outside of it....and DON"T buy the 'pads' that go with it. All they are, are a bunch of women's over priced pantyliners. That is exactly what they are. So I gave this 3 stars becasue it would have worked better for a girl and only catches some of the excitable urine.

I just ordered my fourth one of these diapers. I have a dog who has a malignant tumor in her urethra this caused her to lose her "early warning system" when she has to pee, and she just isn't making it to the door anymore. She also needs to pee pretty frequently. For a couple of months we were running around after her jumping up the moment she jumped up to try to get her out the door. I was so hesitant to go the diaper route. A big black lab wearing a diaper just seemed odd. I was so wrong. Life is simpler now. We see her assume the position and pee right into the diaper (which we attach a Poise pad to). We just let her go ahead and pee. No more frantic runs to try to get her out the door, no more concerns in the car. Even if she has a bowel movement it isn't too bad the diaper seems to have a bit of room in the bottom of it that it sort of falls down and doesn't smash up against her hair. Sometimes a bit will get on the diaper so I have to wash it, but it's not bad. Also, if she is lying in her bed and pees, it will not all go into the Poise pad. It will go out the side and get the diaper wet so again I have to wash the diaper. I have some weewee pads in her bed, so that captures the pee that leaks out. It's all good much much much easier than it was before the diaper.

Size is important my dog is about 55lbs. I had originally ordered an XL for her, and it can slip down and become positioned incorrectly. The LARGEs I have ordered fit much better nice and snug, no slipping.

Yeowww Catnip Tub, 4-Ounce

I have four of those cat critters and all four of them absolutely love this catnip. I had tried some of the much more expensive, organically grown catnip, that comes in a lovely and very small tin, and the kitters liked it ok. They gave the expensive tinned stuff three stars.

I was not very happy with it because it did not keep the kitters occupied for very long. That is what I, personally, am looking for...some catnip that makes them happy and keeps them doing happy things so that I can read a book or unload the dishwasher without someone coming over to be entertained. Don't get me wrong, I love to entertain the kids. BUT, there are times when a mom has to get something necessary done. I know that life can be tough, but sometimes Mom has to do some real work to put the catfood on the table. And, that is what the Catnip is for...to keep those kitters entertained while Mom works. So Mom wants some of that good old time catnip which keeps her babies happy for 30 or more minutes.

With the tinned stuff still staring me in the face, I went back to Amazon to find something more effective. The "YEOWWW! CATNIP" got some very good reviews and was very reasonably priced, so I ordered some. It arrived in two days.

This is what happened:

The "Top Dog" Cat has her very own playground mat with a built in scratching pad in the mat and arches that go above her head with dangling balls that hang from the arches. She expects her catnip, which she eats, to go on the scratching area, so that is where it went.

Mr. Trinity has his own private piece of furniture by the dining room window. He prefers that the upper berth have his catnip on it. So that is where I placed it.

The kittens have a cat tree by another window and prefer to have their treat dribbled up and down the various layers so that they can scramble madly about when they are intoxicated with their nip. It was so.

Kitties were brought to their various places to play. I watched for a few minutes then high tailed it into the kitchen to put kitty dinners in the correct bowls and unload the dishwasher. I might even have time to start my dinner if I was very lucky.

Miss Top Dog found her mat and began to eat immediately. I stayed as her eyes glazed over and then took Mr. Trinity to his berth. His grey kitty nose took a deep sniff and he hopped up and began to wallow and rub his back. Next the kittens were delivered to their tree. A brief stop was made at the food dish, then love of the green stuff took over. The black one hopped to shelf number three and headed up and the striped one lunged for the pole and began to shimmy. I zoomed toward the kitchen. I passed by Mr. Trinity in time to see him make a lunge toward his tail which made him fall to the floor. He was too inebriated to feel embarrassed. Top Dog was drooling, rolling on her back and randomly batting at overhead balls.

Ah, the dishwasher was unloaded and the correct kitty dietary delight was in the appropriate bowl. My dinner made it to the microwave. I peeked. Miss kitty had found Dah Bird and was rolling and pouncing on it. Trinity was back up on the berth playing with his cat toys. The Microwave dinged and I gabbed my dinner and a book. Sat down. Ate dinner. Watched the news. Turned off TV and began the book. It was too quiet...

Top queen had fallen asleep while lying on Dah Bird. Trinity was vegged looking out the windown. The kittens were still playing on the tree but their speed was slowing.

It was a Miracle. Everyone was happy, including me. 45 minutes passed with no kitty needing to be held, fed, played with or scratched. I could NOT believe it. Peace reigned. They all fell asleep.

This is a true story. I am not making it up. All four creatures took to the catnip, played until they wore themselves out and then took a nap. I will be sticking with this brand of Nip. No more stuff in fancy tins for me and my kitters. We are "Yeowwww!" Brand people. We all recommend it and hope you and yours have as great an experience as we did!

What can I say about this catnip ! IT'S HUGE ! I won't need to replace this for atleast 2 years ! SOX , my cat , loves it ! He tries to get into it when I'm not looking ! He loves to eat it and the aroma drives him crazy !

Well my cats usually go ape over cat nip...they liked this nip but didn't get as enthusiastic as they typically do. It's a good price for the size, which is why I purchased it. My two girls found this catnip just okay. But for the price you can't really beat it. I bought the 4oz tub so it'll last me probably a whole year. I'm keeping most of it in the freezer as another reviewer has said they are doing. Good idea.

Unfortunately, I ordered this with a few other items. I say unfortunately because when it arrived, I received an empty tub and a box full of catnip. I don't know if the lid was defective or what, but after I poured what I could back into the tub, I had a hard time getting it on securely.

Here's how I know it was good catnip. UPS dropped the box off by my garage since I wasn't home to pick it up. When I pulled into the driveway that night, there were 2 cats hanging around by my garage door. When I got the box inside and opened it up, my cat was there instantly and fought me every step of the way as I tried to get the other items out.

It was a comical situation, and I was able to salvage about 3/4 of the catnip from the box, but my purchase experience wasn't perfect so I took off a couple stars.

This is a very sturdy remote controlled humane bird launcher. It also has a beeper so you can find it once you place it in tall grass. I train daily (pro) so have a lot of experience with launchers.

Pros:

*Sturdy metal frame.

*Opens on the end so you don't have to try to put the bird in as you close the top. Very easy to put the bird in the end.

*It has tabs on the bottom corners if you want to mount the launcher to something though that is not necessary.

*You can control the launcher from long distances. I frequently use mine at distances up to 700 yards.

*The remote transmitter has 16 settings so you can control up to 16 different launchers though I don't see a reason for more than 2 or 3. Additional launchers are available at most stores that carry D.T. as well as online.

*The transmitter is very small so it is easy to hang around your neck comfortably it comes with a lanyard.

*Very easy to set up and add more launchers.

*Easy to find after you have used it to train your dog since it has a pager/beeper function. Very important when training in tall grasses.

*Launches the bird humanely about 8 feet or so in the air so strong springs.

*Battery life is very, very, long weeks, even if used daily. The launcher and transmitter use simple 9 volt alkaline batteries. The launcher turns itself off after 2 hours if you forget to turn it off.

*It's very quiet compared to others launchers.

*Holds up to 2 quail if wanted or one pigeon. Get the pheasant sized launcher if you want to launch big birds.

Cons:

*The launcher nor the transmitter are water proof. They are water resistant it seems but don't leave it out in the rain. If you accidentally do, don't try to turn it on. Take the battery out and let it dry in a warm area for several days.

*Don't store the launcher in direct sunlight as the sun will cause the launching pad stitches to disintegrate over time.

Overall, it's very tough and if you take care of it, it WILL last for many years. Plus the D.T. systems service department is in Dallas and they have a fast turnaround if it ever breaks.

The DT 500 series launchers work very well.Easy to load birds and they have a nice beeper feature to find the launcher in tall grass. The launch is pretty quite and gives the bird a good toss. Only negative is it seems to eat batteries fairly quickly. Other than that no complaints.

Himalayan Dog Chew, Large 3.5 oz

ATTENTION: Don't throw the treat away as others have, read below:

I first learned of this treat from a booth at the Portland Pet Expo, and it has turned out to be an excellent, safe chew for our golden retriever puppy. When we first gave it to her, she absolutely loved it and chewed it for 15+ minutes straight, which was quite an attention span for our then 11 week old puppy. The pet expo sold samples at a discount, but said the retail price for this size chew was ~$24, so I was glad to find it on amazon for so much less.

The himalayan chew is a combination of cow and goat cheeses, which is smoked for 7 months to produce a very hard chew which softens with puppy slobber. It does not stain, smell, or splinter. The only potential risk is a choking hazard as the chew gets small (what bone doesn't have this risk?). However, we learned a trick at the pet expo that most people here don't know:

DON'T throw away the treat. When it gets so small you worry about choking, take it away and let it dry then microwave it for 10-15 seconds. The small chunck will get 3+ times larger, and will be less dense as a result. Now it is safe again to give to your pet as a quick treat. This way there is no waste, and your pet enjoys every last bit of it.

EDIT: I have noticed it takes more like a minute in the microwave to fully expand. Your results may vary depending on the microwave power just keep an eye on it and stop when it is no longer expanding.

Now that we have had two himalayan chews around the house for five weeks, our golden isn't quite as crazy about it as when we first got it, but she will still happily chew it over most of her toys and treats, and she hasn't finished either one yet. She still won't chew it for more than 15-20 minutes at a time, so it has time to dry out and harden again between chewing sessions. For larger dogs and more agressive chewers, I would expect that it wouldn't last nearly as long since it will stay softer as they keep chewing for longer times.

I bought this at my local high end pet food shop for $9. I brought it home, and gave it to the pup on the patio. My dog is a 70 lbs lab/pit mix around 1 year old. The good: he loved it and didn't upset his stomach at all. The not so great: lasted about 90 minutes, in two sessions. I gave it to him on day one for an hour, and he finished about 30% of it, then I took it away and saved the rest for the next day, which only took him like half an hour to seal the deal (nothing left whatsoever). It's fun for a try, but at $9, I think I won't buy too many more.

I am now on my third package of Himilayan dog chews from Amazon. They are amazing and you can't beat the free shipping from the suppliers on Amazon! My search for a long lasting chew started when our lab/doberman puppy was only about 3-4 months old. I had read so many good things about bully sticks so I ordered them and then just about threw up when I smelled them! I tried to look over it, gave it to our pup (who loved it) but then not only did it smell while he was eating it, but his breath was stinky for a while afterwards! Plus, I'd say the bully stick didn't seem to last much longer than a regular (non-stinky) rawhide. Then I ordered the Himilayan dog chew. He wasn't sure how to approach it since it is literally rock hard. But, then he started scrapping it with his teeth. He isn't the type of dog to take big bites so he's never gotten any big hunks off of it. One chew last weeks since we usually save it for an after dinner snack/entertainment (1-2 hours at a time). Not only does the Himalyan dog chew last a really long time, it also barely smells at all unless you hold it to your nose! And, at that, it's just a smoked gouda type smell so it's not repulsive like a bully stick. Plus, it seems to keep our pups breath smelling much better than if he doesn't have it! We had actually taken a Himalayan dog chew with us on a road trip to my parents house and their dog (9 year old lab mix) actually snuck into our bag and stole the cheese! This is actually a very surprising thing because their dog has NEVER been a chewer. If given something hard, she actually just hides it and never eats it. So, to see her take the cheese and bite small pieces off, I knew she must have loved it! On our next visit I made sure to have an extra piece of cheese just for her. Needless to say, I cannot recommend trying this out enough! If it ends up your dog didn't like it, you just tried one more item in an attempt to make them happy. If they love it though, you will have found a great investment in your dogs health and happiness! Our pup LOVES his cheese!

I did not purchase through this seller. However, this product is a must have for anyone who has a dog with allergies. We found our shepherd puppy that was allergic to any kinds of proteins in the meat family except fish. Being a shepherd, he is an aggressive chewer and could not have any kind of chew treats; there are none with fish. He had no interest in non-food chew toys, and was destroying our house until I found these. He can tolerate the yak's milk they are made from just fine and he loves them. Shepherd Mouth Whistle - Nickel Silver

There is a bit of a learning curve, and it doesn't come with instructions, but I played with this for an afternoon and watched a couple of You Tube videos, and figured it out. One piece of advice worth considering from a more experienced user is to get proficient with this before you start training your dog to it, otherwise you both will get frustrated.

WACKYwalk'r Urban Dog Leash - Medium - Pink

I just bought this leash and have had it for a few days now. I absolutely love it thus far. There is no more jerk on my dog's neck, as the leash stretches. It's super cute and I love its look. I bought the medium size for my 15 pound poodle. That would put him on the low end of the size chart, so I haven't seen it stretch that much longer than it's original length. I'll let you know how it holds up over time, but so far, it's been my favorite leash I've owned. Definitely recommend!

Petmate Deluxe Edition Wire Dog Kennel

I bought this crate for a new puppy about 6 months ago. It has a couple of features that are nice. The rubber feet are great for damping down noise and saving the floor, and the multiple doors are great for reaching in from the top, etc. But I've stopped using it because it's so flimsy. The rounded corners are part of the front and back panels, and don't line up with the sides at all. On my crate, which is 25 inches high, there's just a single hook in the middle holding the side to the front, and there are 1 inch gaps at the top and bottom. Also, the back, which is designed to fold into the crate for storage, has such a shallow catch at the top that it actually fell into the crate onto the puppy a couple of times.

This could be a nice crate if all the pieces fit together better, and had much better joins between the pieces, but as it is, I think it's dangerous.

I have this product for my dog, it appeared sturdy however my husky easily bent the wire in multiple places, was able to undo the latch and was found with her head squished between open joints, This product was not well welded or assembled. I contacted the company and they were less than caring or helpful and stated "dogs are strong". I've also found sites in which other dogs have met their unfortunate end due to this poorly made product. If you care about your pet avoid this product like the plague.

I have both a Midwest Ultimate and a Petmate Deluxe crate and have been very happy with both.

The Petmate has heavy gauge wires spaced every 1.5" and absolutely is not "flimsy". Also, the hammertone finish and curved edges make it very attractive. The top door doesn't really make much sense to me, however. In comparison the Midwest doesn't look as nice and seems to be similarly strong. One advantage of the Midwest is that it has a door at each end that open up in different directions and a side door so there is more flexibility in placement. Either crate is very well made and you can see it if you compare them to "value" crates that use thin wire spaced further apart. Both products are very nice.

My son has a 3 yr old Husky mix dog. He was a good dog except he loved to run the neighborhood any chance he could get. A fenced in back yard did not stop him--he dug under the fence with help from the neighbors dog on the other side! In one afternoon working with him we were able to have him in the yard without a leash and he did not try to run. Since then we are able to take him outside without fear of him running and getting hit by a car. My son said it is a joy to be able to play with him outside and know he will stay in the yard unless he is permitted to leave. Going in and out our door is no longer a challenge as he does as he is told. The best part seems to be that just having the collar on him is enough to keep him calm and doing as he is told. My only wish is that my son had gotten it sooner!

Collar worked as advertised. It appears to be made of quality materials. The battery has adequate duration lasting several days when using it intermittently every day. Our dog is extremely high will-power and does not respond to lower levels of shock. We did use a professional trainer to introduce her to the collar. Not necessary but a good idea. Length of the collar can accomodate a very large dog and cannot be trimmed which leaves a long loop hanging. Turning the collar on and off can be a little confusing. All-in -all a very satisfactory product.

This product has probably saved our dogs life. He was constantly trying to run off and since using the collar he no longer attempts to run off. We take him outside without a leash allowing him to run free. He knows his borders and he obeys commands. What a wonderful training tool.

These collars and training set up are effective.

Use:

One Chihuahua, to train to stay in the yard

Two large breed muts, for barking at everything that goes by our fence.

Pros: I love the vibrating feature! I have only had to use the electrical impulses once on the chihuahua. A quick tap on the vibrator and she turns away from the fence. It works just as well on the larger dogs, one being a Doberman something mix.

It fits both sized dogs (I trimmed the collar down)

The price! For about 1/4 of the price this collar works just as well as the more expesive collars. (I can only speak to ranges from 1/5 to 3/4 of an acre, works just fine)

Cons: I suppose this is to be expected for the price, the material the actual collar is made from is, well, lower quality and not as pliable. The collar still works just fine, but when you are trying to get it on quickly, it can be a bit more of a challenge.

This would be a great harness, but for two things. Sizing adjustability and the non-detachable tether. As for sizing adjustability, it does run small and this would MUCH BETTER fit a broad chested dog (ie: rounder dog) than my female German Shepherd Dog with a deep, narrow chest and shape. It will not properly fit a dog with a small waist, such as my female GSD or a greyhound. There is not much fit adjustment, it either fits or doesn't. A different size wouldn't help. In addition, due to the construction, if you have a dog with pointy ears, such as a GSD, you either have to severely flex and flatten their ears or darn near break their front legs to slip this on. This needs a way to open it up more to get it on them. It's tightly over the head or tightly pull the legs through. Neither one my dog enjoyed and neither did I and it was very difficult. Folding a dog's pointy ears repeatedly in this manner could lead to ear hematomas. The tether is not removable and is much too short for a large dog. If it could be removed, I could have put a longer one on. Also, it is dangling around when you wish to let the dog in or out of the vehicle, potentially snagging your dog on the way in or out and injuring them. The good thing was, it is made very sturdy. I do believe it might really hold a dog in a big crash, PROVIDED it fit your dog properly. It did not fit mine.

I love the Ruff Rider car harnesses but this new design is incredibly difficult to put on and remove, especially if you have a dog with arthritic knees. The dog has to lift each front leg to step into the harness and removing it seems extremely uncomfortable. You have to push your poor dog's head down to the floor to slip the harness off. My 10-year-old lab hates it and runs the other way when she sees me come towards her with it.

Their previous design (with a buckle under the tummy) was much better.

Unfortunately, we need to find another harness.

I used this for exactly one day. The biggest issues are that it is difficult to get on, uncomfortable for the dog once on, and the durability is lacking.

I had assumed that it had a nylon clip either at the chest or back area, so that you could slip the neck portion over the dog's head, and then simply click the strap together behind the dog's front legs. Instead, you actually have to step the dog's front legs through the straps, one at a time. This is neither quick nor fun when leaning over the side of a Jeep's bed. I can only imagine how difficult this would be in the confined space of a car's rear seating area. For the record, my dog is very, very calm. The kind of dog that just looks mournful when the vet takes his temperature, and doesn't move. He dutifully allowed me to put it on him, but it's an arduous process, nonetheless. If your dog is anything less than absolutely calm, you will have a tough time with this.

Due to how long it took to get this contraption on my dog, I opted to leave it on him as I ran my errands around town, and use it as a harness collar for his leash. Big mistake. He hated it. And that's saying something for a dog that tolerates a thermometer in an uncomfortable place. I turned my back to pay for something at a register, and he took that brief opportunity to chew right through one of the main straps. Which, upon closer inspection, is made of a soft, loose-weave nylon, not at all tough and durable tight-weave nylon generally used for seatbelts or climbing harnesses.

So around four hours in, this was a pricy experiment that went wrong. If I were to redesign it, I'd put a nylon or metal clip so that it could easily be slipped on and off a dog, and I'd construct it from much tougher, thicker nylon. The comfort factor wouldn't be such a big deal if it was easy to take off, meaning it was only worn when the dog was in the car...

I bought this for my 18 month old, 104 lb, bullmastiff puppy. I was going to buy the Xtra Large, but she measured right in the middle of the "Large" size based on the web-sites instructions: 25" around her neck and 35" around her torso right behind her front legs. It does fit, but snugly. I can't imagine a dog any larger being comfortable in it. She seems comfortable enough, but I do worry that it might chafe if worn for a long time. Unlike other reviewers, I did not find it too difficult to figure out how to put it on her, head first, but getting the second leg in is a bit of a struggle and if your dog is not co-operative you both might find it frustrating.

I have only used it once in the car so far. Because I have three other large dogs, the "puppy" has to sit in the front passenger seat and I wanted to be sure that she wouldn't be thrown, or throw herself in the case of an accident or distraction. The tether seems a bit short, but I am not sure I have the best adjustment on the seat belt. Bullmastiffs have a tendency to push back when you try to move them and so it was hard to maneuver her into the best position to attach it to the belt. Still a work in progress. I worry about the air bag, so eventually she will be moved to the back and I think the seat belt will be easier to adjust there.

The good points: It is extremely well made and I have no doubt it would hold her in case of an accident. Also, the larger sizes have a cross piece at the breast, the purpose of which is not clear, but it does make it easier to orient the straps when you are putting it on the dog. I can see how it could be confusing in the smaller sizes that lack the cross strap.

I would definitely recommend this to secure a dog in the car, especially if you can figure out the right size and have a cooperative dog. But absolutely go up a size if your measurements are above the mid-point for any size.
