Bought this as a christmas gift, supplier is As Seen On TV Products () rather than Amazon. The supplier sent me just the base (no collar, CD, spray refill, batteries, etc). Also, the box was retaped with scotch tape and the corners were dented, indicating to me that they sold me a refurbished or opened-box unit. I called them to arrange for a return and re-fulfillment. Instead, they offered to send me the collar. I declined because I wanted exactly what I ordered: the entire system, and what they sent me was in poor shape, which I cannot gift. They then requested that I return the item at my own expense ($ USPS) and they would then ship out a new one. I requested that they pay for shipping since this was their mistake. They refused, offering to pay my shipping but not send me out a new 'system' like I ordered. When I checked my credit card statement, they of course did not refund the shipping costs. I was unable to file a A-Z claim with Amazon since their records show a refund of the original price was issued.

I recommend that you avoid doing business with As Seen On TV Products. Buy this product from another source.

Simple Solution Washable Diapers

Per the last reviewer, all dogs are different. I have to agree, this diaper wrap (aka cumberbund) is more for the occasional "leaker." My dog is almost 14 and is on alot of medicine including diuretics. While awake he would never pee, however, when sound asleep he may leak, sometimes quite a bit. You really should purchase the pads that go with the wrap: When used both together the system works great. (You can also used regular sanitary napkins-my girlfriend lent me a couple-something I never thought would happen :-) I can now have my dog sit or lay with me on the furniture and not have to worry about him leaking on the fabric or on a rug or the wood floors.

Again all dogs are different and he barely seems to notice that he has the wrap on. He was used to it immediately. I sized the wrap according to his waist size and not his body weight. Had I gotten the wrap sized according to body weight it would have been too small and possibly uncomfortable. It does shrink somewhat in the wash as well.

One other thing it stays on great with a very wide velcro band closure. The wideness of the band allows you to adjust looser or tighter as needed.

Our chow was starting to have little 'droplets' accidents. We saw this item and tried it out....before doing any research! Well, we lucked out!

This item is perfect, it fits her perfectly and haven't had any problems since. We bought the pupster liners, just to see what the 'recommended' product looked like, and human feminine liners/pads are doing the job just wonderfully for way cheaper.

Hopefully this will keep her around and enjoying life without her being embarassed. I say this because when she would let out a few drops, she would turn around immediately and start licking up her mess.

She is partially deaf and blind, so she's very skittish when we try to put it on her, so we distract her by giving her medicine in a turkey frank, while putting it on her and that seems to work as well.

She's 16 years old and has declining health, but still has some pep in her step.

Now I know they have the bands for the boys, but it did recommend that a size bigger would fit the boys. I have a yorkshire terrier who gets excited really easily and pees all over from it. This diaper fit big but just the way his anatomy is he can still pee outside of it....and DON"T buy the 'pads' that go with it. All they are, are a bunch of women's over priced pantyliners. That is exactly what they are. So I gave this 3 stars becasue it would have worked better for a girl and only catches some of the excitable urine.

I just ordered my fourth one of these diapers. I have a dog who has a malignant tumor in her urethra this caused her to lose her "early warning system" when she has to pee, and she just isn't making it to the door anymore. She also needs to pee pretty frequently. For a couple of months we were running around after her jumping up the moment she jumped up to try to get her out the door. I was so hesitant to go the diaper route. A big black lab wearing a diaper just seemed odd. I was so wrong. Life is simpler now. We see her assume the position and pee right into the diaper (which we attach a Poise pad to). We just let her go ahead and pee. No more frantic runs to try to get her out the door, no more concerns in the car. Even if she has a bowel movement it isn't too bad the diaper seems to have a bit of room in the bottom of it that it sort of falls down and doesn't smash up against her hair. Sometimes a bit will get on the diaper so I have to wash it, but it's not bad. Also, if she is lying in her bed and pees, it will not all go into the Poise pad. It will go out the side and get the diaper wet so again I have to wash the diaper. I have some weewee pads in her bed, so that captures the pee that leaks out. It's all good much much much easier than it was before the diaper.

Size is important my dog is about 55lbs. I had originally ordered an XL for her, and it can slip down and become positioned incorrectly. The LARGEs I have ordered fit much better nice and snug, no slipping.

Kyjen Outward Hound Treat N Ball Bag, Green

Easy to carry around, easy to get treats out of, dog recognizes bag and knows we're about to do training exercises/pays attention better. Like the fact that it will carry a ball too. I use it on walks and at the dog park and would definitely recommend. Oh, also has a nice small front pocket I put my keys and my pup's clicker in which is also nice when we go on walks.

This is my second Outward Hound bag the first was lost when it fell off on a walk....and this one will likely meet the same fate one day. This is a redesign of the prior bag which had a small pocket on the front and only the clip on the back. Here's the good and the bad:

Good: Addition of velcro strip on back

Bad: I wish there were two strips, one vertical, one horizontal so that it fit a greater variety of pants, belts etc.

Good: Better closure for treats yet access seems easier and bag seems deeper

Bad: Elimination of small front pocket (where I kept my poop bag, until used of course).

Bad and not improved shallow clip, doesn't stay where attached.

So....the bag attaches easily to jeans or other pants that might have a loop for the velcro strip. But it's difficult to attach it to sweats or yoga pants. If you use just the clip the bag will fall off on the first walk....although amazingly my first bag lasted nearly a year! This clip seems less secure though.

My dog ate my last treat bag. I had it for years and can't find one like it. This one had such good reviews I thought I'd give it a try, but I hate it and will be replacing it as soon as I find another good one. The belt hook is so tiny that it's useless. If I bend over, the bag falls off and the treats spill everywhere. The little inside closure is awkward and difficult to loosen quickly. By the time I open it to dig a treat out my dog has given up on me! Perhaps it works better for balls but it's a terrible treat bag if you are trying to train your dog.

This one is holding up much better (although it's only been a couple of months and we generally use this on weekends only) than the other Kyjen treat bag we purchased. This is a nice lead, but the material is stiff and feels a bit sticky. That may wear off with time, but unfortunately whatever is on it makes the dogs want to chew--they have gone through 2..... They are so thin that it doesn't take much for the pups to be able to chew right through them.

PLEASE: DO NOT BUY THIS COLLAR!!!!!

WOULD GIVE THIS A ZERO if allowed. Today this product malfunctioned and repeatedly shocked my dog, which provoked a dog fight with my other dog. As I write this, I have just finished cleaning & dressing puncture wounds & will have to make a trip to the vet for a thorough examination. It will be who knows how long before the dogs will reach their previous comfort level with one another, if ever. It's just a good thing I have never left the dogs alone and unattended when wearing these collars. First thing after breaking up the dog fight, separating into closed-door rooms and assessing the damages and cleaning & dressing wounds, THESE COLLARS WENT INTO THE TRASH.

PREVIOUS REVIEW: This might have worked well if the directions had been correct. The directions say to start at lowest level, which I did. After researching the use of these types of collars, I found that starting at the lowest level and working up only serves to gradually increase the dog's tolerance to the corrections as the levels are raised. I can't really comment on its effectiveness (if used correctly and not according to the directions that came with it) because as a result of going by the directions the dog's tolerance level increased so even the highest setting became ineffective. I might wait until some months have passed and try again, only correctly this time, and then update these comments. The collar's pros are that it is very lightweight and easy to adjust the size. Took a couple minutes to locate the itsy-bitsy lever inside the battery compartment that adjusts the correction level; that could have been marked better, either in the instructions or on the unit itself.

**WARNING: If your dog will be swimming or getting wet with this collar on, DO NOT BUY IT!** More info below.

I recently had a very expensive training collar set die on me and, not wanting to spend another $200 to replace it, I bought this as a stop-gap, seeing as barking is usually coupled with my dogs' bad behavior. If anything, I could fake them into thinking I was always watching their bad deeds. And it works like a charm! They could swear I'm omnipresent wherever they wander.

First, these collars come with cheap non-alkaline batteries, so buy decent batteries when you place the order. Once you install alkaline batteries, these collars will last a good long time (at least two weeks).

The directions are not very helpful for these things, but the adjustment screw varies the shock level, not the bark detection level. Apparently bark detection is hard coded in this collar. Luckily, it is nearly perfect in detecting true barks, and the rare times it has a false trigger, it just sends a warning beep, not a shock, on the first detection, so your dog isn't punished for wearing a collar while being a good dog.

On the note of warnings, this collar has a great warning system, which goes from a quick warning beep on the first bark, to a long warning on the second bark, to a shock and beep on the third. Granted, a determined barker will figure out two barks are always "allowed" before a shock, but for my dog he found counting was just not worth the effort and became a nice, quiet dog any time the collar is on. Note, this collar will not detect growling, so they can still be dogs and alert you, just without a house rumbling bark like my lab has.

**IMPORTANT!! The collars themselves are NOT WATERPROOF, which is where the real trouble comes in. If your dog gets wet while wearing this collar, you have a very real chance it will short it out. This alone wouldn't be awful, but these don't just short out and die, they short out and go into a constant shock cycle, shocking your dog over and over until you either figure out what is wrong and remove it or the battery dies!! Note, it can take up to two hours for the batteries to die while in the shock loop! Imagine being electrocuted for two hours straight!

**ALSO IMPORTANT!! If your dog ever goes swimming with this collar on, the same shock loop WILL happen, and the collar will never recover, even after being dried out. I made this mistake, drying out my last collar, only to have to going into t random shock loop a couple of hours into my dog wearing it. He started to hide next to me with his "I'm sorry!" look, and I didn't know why.. ends up he was in a shock loop, yet the collar wasn't beeping to warn me it was happening! VERY, VERY BAD!

Now, if your dog will not get wet while wearing this collar, it is a great, reliable collar which has a wonderful battery life, is very cheap, adjustable for different stubbornness dogs and allows you to train your dogs without always having a remote in-hand.

Now, as for recommending it.. that depends. If your dog will be around water, then absolutely not! If there is a risk of this collar getting wet, then absolutely not! If, however, you plan to use it inside, or at the dog park, or while walking in areas where your dog can't swim, then this collar is fabulous for a very low price. I highly recommend it for anyone with a "yipper" type dog, as your neighbors will thank you for it. Nobody wants to listen to a neighbor's dog bark incessantly. Be a good neighbor and buy this, or a waterproof version of a bark collar.

Berk collars such as this are a win-win for everyone, including your dog, as it won't get animal control called on it.

Our first order never worked, so we swapped it out with a replacement. That one would not hold a charge.It completely died after one bark. Not sure what the issue is, I have had this collar before a few years back and it was great but now that I replaced it with the exact same thing, the quality really went down. 2 defective collars?!These are just plain junk! It's unfortunate because they used to be great collars, whoever is manufacturing them now killed a once awesome product

Carlson Tuffy Metal Expandable Pet Gate

I like the gate over all, but it's not real obvious how to lock it in place. In some places we have to push it in tight for it to fit while it is already in its locked position.

Very sturdy and the cat door gives my cats plenty of room. Testing it our today to make sure the dog can't get through.
