My pug does not like a harness that goes over his head. He likes stepping into and out of this harness. It is easy to click on and off. He prefers this harness over all others I have tried. I highly recommend it, especially for pugs, who have delicate necks and should not wear neck collars.

My little fella loves his crate cover. He already loves to snuggle up in his crate throughout the day. The cover helps block the light so he can sleep while we are doing things around the house. One note for cleaning it though...Don't put the cover in the dryer at all. It will shrink.

This product looks exactly like the picture. I purchased this for a friend who uses it as a sleeping area for the cats. I paired it with the purple crate and it just make the place look happy. I do love this item, although I should have read the description more than looking at the picture. This item that comes will be PINK not PURPLE which is what I really wanted. But it still is a good product and my little Zoey loves it anyway. It is a nice cushion for the dog and the cover makes the crate look better than a crate just sitting there and offers privacy for the dog who loves it. Zoey on the other hand likes to see so we have put the cover away for later use.

I just purchased 2 of these for my young cats so I would have something to take them to the vet in. They were delivered today and I can't believe the quality of this product. It is sturdy, well-designed and comes with step by step instructions protected in a plastic sleeve. The cats took to them right away. The designers thought of everything including a safety clip to ensure that the front flap stays zipped and Velcro patches so you can roll up the flap and keep it open so they can play in it. Our cats are 12 lbs and 13 lbs respectively, and they are just the right size for them.

We were skeptical of putting a teething yellow lab pup in a fabric crate, but when we saw this in a local store, we were impressed! Very sturdy and tight! Extemely well made.

We bought the E36, even though it was a little small for a full size labrador retriever, and we're glad we did. It's perfect for him now; he's 9 weeks old and he took to it like a den. He walks right in when he's tired. A few minor corrections about not mouthing it, along with a few great toys and rawhide chews, and he's been absolutely fine. He loves it.

It's surprisingly nice to be able to open the top as well. We can pick him right up and carry him outside after a nap.

I would recommend using a little softened bar soap on the zippers, because they're very tight. And of course, I can't recommend leaving a teething pup in it for long hours. Nor would you put an aggresive or vicious animal in this crate.

We keep it right in our bedroom and the zipper jingles when he scratches the door. We get up and lift him out and bring him to the door. Fabulous!

By the time he outgrows this crate, he probably won't need it, but I may have to buy him the larger one anyway just because he loves it!

I had looked everywhere to find this crate in the older style model which the company changed about a year ago. The description when I ordered it said it had the stake tie down straps which is specifically what I wanted to secure crates on a rack in my van for travel to shows and the pictures showed the larger mesh window areas of the older model which provide better ventilation. What I got was the newer model which doesn't have tie down straps and has smaller mesh windows. The picture still shows the larger mesh window area and stake tie down straps, which is not what the newer model has. The description has now been changed to reflect the newer mode, but picture has not been changed. Amazon should make sure their pictures and description reflect exactly what they are selling!

This brand crate is well made and holds up well as I have three of the older model this size and two of a larger size model. I do not like the changes the company made to the newer version though being smaller mesh windows on sides and no tie down straps.

I recently adopted a 5 month old female German Shepherd / Doberman puppy and needed a crate to carry in the car or keep at the office, etc... I've got one of the Midwest metal crates (42") that works great but it's tremendously heavy to move around frequently!

Insert the Firstrax Port-A-Crate (36"). I'd been considering the Noz2Noz crates but was afraid that she would tear the crate apart after seeing some of the pictures people had posted online. This crate was about half the cost of the N2N crate (I got this crate for $50 direct from Amazon) and seemed to fit the bill perfectly for a worthwhile "test" crate.

Pros:

-Light weight (couple lbs max)

-Great build / fabric quality

-Easy to put up / break down

-Sturdy buckles to keep folded / closed

-Excellent ventilation without being too open like a metal crate

-Top zips open for easy access for stubborn dogs / water bowls / etc...

-Definitely gives the dog that "den" feeling

Cons:

-Soft crate is easily destroyed by a determined / untrained dog

-No removable layer on the bottom makes it difficult to clean if there are any "accidents"

Unlike some of the other reviewers, I didn't experience any funky smells when I opened it up.

Combine the light weight with the cost and build quality and this crate is a definite winner! My roommate bought one for his dog; it's a LOT more convenient than breaking down the metal crate for portability.

I gave it the 4 star rating primarily because of the difficulty in cleaning it. It there was a removable layer in the bottom (I suppose a crate mat would help) that would make it 5 stars.

PS: The folded down crate makes a great impromptu barrier for dogs that want to go upstairs when they're not supposed to! :-)

I've purchased two of these so far. The original design from several years ago was navy with larger rectangular side windows, four short straps on the bottom corners with metal grommets, and it came with a shoulder strap in addition to the carrying handle. It's been used numerous times over the years to transport cats to/from the vet, take them to the kennel, etc, and for that purpose it's just about perfect. When we first got it, our vet was really impressed and wanted to know where we found it. The price was reasonable, and years later it still looks almost brand new (even though the cats it has been used to transport, one at a time of course, both have sharp front claws). We just fold the carrier up and pack it away when not being used.

I would rate the original design 5 stars, but strangely, the company decided to change the product a while back. The one I purchased more recently is beige and has small dog-bone-shaped side windows, no bottom straps, and doesn't come with the shoulder strap either. It seems just as sturdy and is far superior to the cheaper carrier (different brand) I bought in the meantime which basically fell apart after only a few uses, but I think the earlier revision was a little better. I don't think the cats are going to get a dog complex from the bone-shaped windows or anything, but it's still mildly annoying, and the shoulder strap and tie downs were kind of handy.

The other thing I find puzzling is the description of this item as a "pet home" which makes it sound like it's intended for continuous use. I wouldn't really recommend that for either cats or dogs, as the fabric construction and folding design wouldn't be of much benefit if it's just sitting in one place, and it's obviously not as durable or escape-resistant as a standard metal or plastic pet crate. I'd just call it a folding pet carrier and leave it at that. Great for transporting pets in town, or local travel, moves, etc.

If I could find the old version available somewhere, I'd prefer that, but the new version is still the best carrier I've found for my purposes and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone else with similar needs. The 20 inch model seems just the right size for our cats.

I bought the x small size for my 6 lb Chiweenie, it was still just a tad too big. I measured her before I bought it and she is just a little over 11" from collar to base of tail. It fits snug enough she can't get out of it unless she starts chewing on the part that goes around her neck because she is able to fit her lower jaw under it to get it in her mouth, so she has gotten it off once but I was able to break her of the chewing habbit. The hole for the tale is too big so to prevent leakage I have had to use a saftey pin and a doggie pad to help block the extra space. I can not leave it on her all the time, because she hates to wear it and when it is on her she refuses to move or even eat. It is also a pain to take it on and off to let her ouside to potty, when she comes back inside I have to chase her to get it back on her.

The Tell Bell has worked extremely well for us as we have used it for almost a year now. We have been so exceedingly thrilled with our Tell Bell that we have purchased numerous Tell Bells for friends! I've been truly impressed with the quality and innovative design specifically made for dogs, which makes it comfortable to ring. A cheap bell from the store was not designed for a dog's paw and seems like it would annoy their paw when they stepped on it. It always brings a smile to our faces.

We have 2 Tell Bells, one at the garage door, and the other at the back door. We've successfully trained our dog to ring the bell at the garage door when she has to go potty, and the other bell at back door when she wants to go outside and play. Right after she learned to ring the bell, all of my kids walked out of the garage door to go play, and she whacked at the bell over and over again because she wanted to go outside to play with them. The Tell Bell works well! We give the Tell Bell the highest recommendation possible. It's a quality product with a remarkably effective training technique that has worked well for us, as well as the numerous people we have given it to as a gift.

We had relatives coming for a visit and their dog was coming with them. I asked if the dog was potty trained. She said yes and the dog uses a specially designed doorbell that sits by the door called Tell Bell. I have very nice doors that I did not want scratched and new carpet so I was not thrilled, but knew that the relatives were exceptionally clean people and would never let a dog stay in the house that was not "potty trained".

When the family put the Tell Bell by the door, I found it adorable! And sure enough, the dog hit the bell and went outside. No howling, no scratching!

Adorable! In fact, we offered to watch their dog while they visited elsewhere. We've bought a Tell Bell ourselves and it always makes our guests smile every time the Tell Bell rings.

We are told the people made the Tell Bell to stop sooooo many dogs from going into shelters. Many dogs go into shelters because the owners can not get the dogs potty trained. The people who made Tell Bell hope the Tell Bell would help keep the dogs out of the shelters. If you don't have a Tell Bell trained dog, then get it Tell Bell trained. You will never have a problem in finding someone to watch your dog. I wish everyone would do this so there would be less dogs at animal shelters. What a great fun way to love your dog even more.

After 6 months of consistent trying, our (admittedly a little slow) 10 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel still didn't get the hang of the Tell Bell. He knew the bell would be rung before the door would open, but he would always stand by the door and wait for us to help him ring it.

I think the main problem is it takes too much coordination for a small dog to strike the bell in the right place and with enough force to actually ring it (the button is about the size of his paw, and it doesn't make much noise unless it is pushed sharply straight down).

In the end we replaced the $25 tell bell with a $1-ish jingle bell tied from the door handle on a string, hung just above the ground. We put a treat right under the bell so he had to move (ring) it to get his treat, and one week later he is already ringing it on his own when he wants to go outside.

At least six months with the Tell Bell taught him what "Ring your bell," means, even if he couldn't actually do it ;-)

The photo of this bell makes it look larger than it is. It's the size of a bell you'd see on a hotel counter. That's cool for small dogs, but my German Shepherd mutes it as he rings it. I gave it to my friend who has a toy poodle and it works well for him. I ended up getting a bell like is on the top of the old country store doors...which mounts to the wall and is on a curved flexible hanger. Sergeant rings it easily and it works as good as the tell bell...although the tell bell's portability is good if you have a small dog.

A lot of these reviews are fake. Dig a little deeper into their username and see that they only review this item multiple times.

My small 6 month old puppy who is clicker trained at first used the bell. Then out of no where she regressed and refuses to ring the bell even after a lot of coercion (bribery). This is a dog who understands the "touch" command, closes doors, and jumps through hoops. By no means is this a dumb puppy but she seems not to get the tell bell.

The urine is absorbed into the pad but the moisture soaks right through the plastic liner.

I went through a box of the Nature's Miracle pads in a matter of days.

If you use a cloth, moisture resistant pad first and then place one of these pads on top, that might work.

Or, double up the pads placing one on to of another.

Otherwise, I would not recommend these pads.

I went back to Wee Wee brand (Four Paws): the plastic liner does not allow moisture to soak through.

I have two dogs that are aging and have various health problems; both of them use the pads.

I wasn't sure how to rate these. I have bought these puppy pads for at least a year. These are the only ones I tried and they absorb the fastest, don't leak, and don't smell. I was upset when our store stopped carrying them, so I ordered them online. For some reason this box just isn't as good. They don't hold as much, and they smell. They are the exact same brand, type, etc. I really hope this isn't how they are, maybe I just got some from a bad run. If my next box is like this I will look for a new brand. It's really disappointing, they are normally the best.

This product is absolutely outstanding. I woulld give it 6 stars if I could...We have more than one cat that seem to have problems locating the litter box to pee, and placing one of these in front of the box is all that is needed to give them a place they will seek out and use (instead of the carpet in our familty room). These pads have a very high capacity for absorbing liquid and they prevent any tracking that might happen,,,, as advertised. We have a tile floor, where the litter box is located, so I tape the edges of the pad to the floor with clear packing tape...it helps keep the pad stable when the cats try to 'cover it up' with their paws..It is amazing how heavy the 'used pads' are after the cats have had a chance to use them..And despite the amount of urine that is in the pad, they do not leak when rolling them up to dispose of..and there is NO odor....This product has truly solved a problem we have had that has been intractable for a year or more. Would definitely recommend!

These are solid white on both sides and you have to study them very carefully to make sure you put the absorbent side up, else you end up with a waterproof surface and end up with spills onto the floor. There are better designed products out there. In other brands I buy the top facing absorbent side is white in the center, with a blue trim and the side that faces the floor is solid blue. This serves 2 purposes. First the dog can me clearly see the blue edge to help guide targeting, and second is that having solid blue on the bottom side makes it easy to avoid making a mistake when changing them in a hurry.

I was excited to see Nature's Miracle made pads, no tracking pads at that. Unfortunately, I'm quite disappointed in the product. I have a 3 month old pug...so its not a large puppy at all..5lbs maybe. I figured I could get away with changing them fully once, twice a day tops. To my dismay, they have to be changed almost every time he pees....they leak clean through. They also don't absorb the urine odor like I thought they would. Unfortunately, I would not recommend these unless they are used for a dog that has the occasional accident.

Slip Leash in Black

We have these for volunteer walking dogs at the humane society and also have one for our dog at home. With the shelter dogs, we can either use it just around the neck, or make a harness, depending on the individual dog's needs. With our dog, we use it high on her neck and she's very easy to control and heel properly.

The 6 ft black Mendota slip lead was much less flexible and less soft than the 4-ft woodlands (color) Mendota slip lead. The weave is much tighter and it is more difficult to adjust the leather slide. For some this might be seen as an advantage, but I prefer the softer, looser weave--the leather slide on the Woodlands-colored Mendota 4-ft lead holds fine, and I have large German Shepherds. All in all, I really like the leads but am puzzled and somewhat disappointed that the black one is not as flexible/soft as the woodlands one. Both are 1/2" leads and both were ordered within a month of each other.

I ordered this slip lead because I volunteer at a local humane society, and they prefer we use this kind of leash to walk the dogs. I have found it to be very well made and durable. I use it several hours a day, six days a week, and it is still working well. I have seen no signs of fraying. I also like the smoothness of the lead, as it helps it to release as soon as the dog ceases pulling (I have found others tend to continue to hold tension because of the roughness of the rope). I highly recommend this product and believe any other purchasers will be satisfied with its performance.

I love this lead. I had purchased one from a different company, but the lead was not soft and it kept wearing down my dog's neck hair and leaving sores on my hand. This one is both soft and strong, which is all that I wanted. I looked for ages before finding this exact one. I travel a lot w/ my dog. I don't have to worry about this lead getting caught on something; I can just leave it on him all the time in the car, which saved trying to catch him to put a leash on him before he jumped out of the car (now he stays nicely until I tell him he can come out, but there were some very scary moments before). The adjustable tab also allows me to keep the 'collar' part of the lead at the top of his neck, where it should be. I will buy many, many more of these leads in the years to come. One thing to keep in mind when choosin a size the length of the lead appears to have been measured from tip-to-tip, meaning: if you get a 4' lead for a short dog, the dog may be dangling at the end of the lead. My dog is about 18-20" high, and there is not a whole lot of lead left over. Hope this helps...now get walking!

We bought this for our german shep and it worked within the first 15 minutes, no lie!! He got the first shock, and he was scared for a bit. It took about an hour until he learned his boundaries and now we're a much more peaceful household. Once he hears the first beep he backs up. We bought this because he was relentless when we were sitting on our couch. We eat most meals there and watch a lot of tv together there and he just doesn't stop with wanting attention. He's actually a number of times come up and taken food right off of our plates! He would also insist that you play with him actually lobbing his toys at our faces. We're not cruel, he is just relentless! He never, ever stops. He had cut his foot once and was bleeding. We didn't notice right away because he just kept on coming and coming with his toys! He never takes naps, ever! So, we got this, he got a buzz once and we actually got to sit in peace and watch tv and eat. The little disc doesn't have to be permantly affixed and the barrier level is totally adjustable so we can take it down when we're ready to play. My couch is clean and we get peace and he's learning boundaries. We're all happier. The only problem we've had was the collar where the 2 plastic prongs are that snap it on, one broke off, but we're getting it replaced, and even without it, he's still staying off the couch and is waiting to be asked to play instead of being a bully about it.

Product came as promised and, more importantly, came with good directions for training my dog to use them. It's a little early to tell if it will work, also I may need to get a second set since it's a town house with two floors and we spend a lot of time on the second floor. He has hit the bells a couple of times so I believe that it will be a good system once he has completely learned to use them.

Cute product and my dog actually uses them! We had him pretty much potty trained in the first week we got them!
