My dog is solidly trained to go on pee pads, so I cannot comment on how well does the whole "scent" attracts dog thing. Other than that, this pad is a good size, and my dog doesn't have problem going on it. The pad dries fast, and I have less of the "wet paws print" problem compares to other name brands. I usually can leave the pads in for 1-2 days before I have to change it out. Backing is always dry and no leak through. Overall, I am very happy with these pads and would buy again. It would be better if the shipping is lower, but it is still a very good value item even with shipping included.

I've tried nearly every brand out there, and these are the best, by far! They're super absorbant and my dog immediately took to using the pads instead of shunning them, as she did many of the other brands I've tried. I also found the Ware River people to be very friendly, exceptionally customer service oriented, and great to work with!

We have used several brands of piddle pads in the past and all of them were pretty decent. These however, were the most absorbent that we have ever used. We appreciated this feature when we were traveling over the holidays. It gave us peace of mind that there would be no piddle leakage in our hotel room. We also like the fact that these pads are made in the USA!

16" Flat Leather Tug 2-handles

This could be a very nice tug but the handles on both ends are ridiculously short. I've worked with police K9's and have done Schutzhund for years and I do not think I've come across many tugs with basically useless handles like this one. I am a 120 pound, 5-7 female and I have smaller hands obviously yet I can barely hold onto the ends of this thing even with simple tug games with my GSD. Each nylon webbed side needs to be at 2" longer (heck i would settle for an inch longer!) and it would be much improved. Maybe I got a defective one because the one in the picture does not have tiny little handles on it. Disappointed, because this would be great if it were not for the handles.

I purchased this for my two large dogs to train them not to go ballistic when someone rings the doorbell. I don't need to use the shock feature, the audible beep startles them enough. I wanted one remote to control two separate collars independently. This was shipped quickly and was easy enough to set up, but only worked a couple of weeks before the remote malfunctioned. Instead of beeping Collar One or Collar Two, every action would affect both collars. Amazon promptly sent me a new one, so we'll see how long this works.

Beyond the remote malfunction however, the collars themselves are very cheap plastic and ultra long. I have two 100 pound dogs and the collars have a good 5 inches of excess material. And the eyelets are similarly cheap. There are very sharp edges enough to draw a bit of blood while I was handling one so I had to file them down before putting them on my dogs. I would advise spending a bit more to get something of higher quality.

These products appear to be very low quality. This is the second order that I am returning for replacement. The first set I ordered one of the collar was DOA (wouldn't turn on at all). I returned it for replacement and on the second set one of the collars stopped pairing with the remote after approximately one week. (you have to re-pair the collars with the remote every time after you charge them) I am returning this item for replacement one more time but if I have any more problems I am simply going to return them for a refund. When the collars do work they work fine, but getting them to work or to stay working is the issue. Buyer beware.

I bought this product mainly because I have 2 dogs that I want to train (sometimes together) and I want to be able to train them "off leash" so the range was important to me.

First, the product claims "Solid remote range of up to 400-yard". The range I experienced was more like 4 feet. Any more than that and I had little reliability (and yes, the batteries were fresh and/or charged). In fairness though, I'm not certain the range was 100% at fault here as it only seemed to have about a 70% reliability rate even within a couple feet. My guess is that the transmitter simply didn't send the signal properly all of the time.

Second, training 2 dogs at once can be hard with this remote. The transmitter can handle up to 3 receivers but can only send to one at a time. As you see in the picture there are icons that represent the (up to 3) dogs/receivers you're working with and a side button to switch between them. The indicator itself is a tiny, and I mean TINY blue LED telling you which receiver is currently active. When you're walking/moving it's very hard to see at a glance and even more difficult in daylight. The button also tended to skip receivers so it was difficult to keep track without checking constantly. I would have it on Dog 1, press once to go to Dog 2 and find that it is actually on Dog 3 etc.

Even when the switcher worked correctly, which in fairness was about 80% of the time, I found it difficult to operate quickly with 2 dogs. Correcting one, then trying to quickly switch and correct the other was difficult but probably could be done with practice if the switch could be relied upon.

When it did work though, it was highly effective. I like the fact that it had 7 shock levels as well as a tone and a vibrate. One of my dogs needed a level 4-5 while the other responded to lvl 1, so that was nice to have.

Overall though, it just didn't work well enough or reliably enough for us so it has to go back.

Ruff Riders Roadie Canine Vehicle Safety and Training Harness - Size Small2

I was skeptical when searching for a seatbelt for my dog. I've never used a seatbelt with a dog before, but it seemed like a prudent idea. Looking around, there are a lot of choices, and it's not clear the differences between them. I decided on the Roadie even though there aren't many reviews on Amazon for it because whenever I went to chat boards to find people with recommendations, this was always one of their top ones.

But I have to admit, I was a little skeptical. It was more than I was expecting to spend. In the end, though, I think it was worth the extra money. It's really well made. When you take it out of the package, it feels like a person's seatbelt. And it fit my dog really well.

I will say, go to the Ruff Riders Roadie website and make sure you measure your dog carefully before deciding on a size. My dog is about 20 lbs, and is right in the middle of all of the measurements for the Small2, and it fits her perfectly (if it were any smaller, it wouldn't fit). So, it seems like if your dog is at the top of the measurement range, you should probably go with the next size up because there are no buckles on the main part of the seatbelt. The buckles on it seem to be just to hold it snug to them if it's a little loose. The main part of it is not adjustable.

First of all, it is really annoying that, at the time of this review, Amazon has all the different sizes of the Ruff Rider Roadie broken out as separate listings rather than as one listing with different size options.

A note about the sizing: be sure to consult not just Amazon, but the Ruff Rider website, as the sizing information is more detailed on the Ruff Rider site. Basically, there are two smalls, two mediums, etc. Be sure to measure carefully my dog measured for a Small 2, but at 48 lbs., I would never have expected her to be a small in anything. Also, go up a size if they are even close to the borderline. She was right in the middle of the range for this size but could probably stand to go up a size.

I ordered two of these, a Small 2 for my 48 lb. dog and a Medium 1 for my boyfriend's dog. Note that the medium had an extra adjustment strap on the chest (although we didn't find it useful) and had wider straps. Importantly, we were not able to fit my seatbelt buckles through the loops in the Small 2, but they fit just fine through the Medium 1. This means we had to use a large carabiner for the Small 2 to properly attach it to the car. *A note about carabiners*: if you are not already familiar with carabiners through rock climbing or related sports, be sure to familiarize yourself with them before using one for this purpose. You need to get a real one with a locking closure, not a novelty one, and it needs to be rated for the appropriate amount of force (usually given in kilonewtons). It takes a pretty heavy duty one to adequately attach your Ruff Rider Roadie (if needed), as 50+ lbs. of dog in an accident at 70 mph can exert a much greater amount of force than a person slipping and falling from a rock ledge.

The primary design flaw I encountered is that the dog can step on the seat belt buckle (accidentally or otherwise), thus releasing both the belt and their Roadie. A solution to this would be to use a high-quality carabiner to attach the Roadie to your vehicle's car seat attachments, circumventing the seat belt entirely.

Having said all that about sizing and attaching the product to the car, I have to say that the overall construction of this product is great. It is strong and the stitching is strong. I did a lot of research into this before making a purchase, because I was going on a cross-country roadtrip and wanted to keep my dogs safe in the event of an accident and also keep myself and my boyfriend safe 100 lbs. of dogs flying forward in an accident is not safe for anyone. I discovered that because dog seatbelts don't have to be approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or anything like that, the quality can be really inadequate. Most are probably fine for keeping your dog from jumping around the car, but are not sufficient to protect you and your dog in an accident. For example, plastic buckles are unlikely to hold up in a high-speed impact. The manufacturers of sub-par products probably know this but are hoping that their customers either don't care about this aspect or won't apply critical thinking skills to the situation.

Both of our dogs seemed to not mind this product, even when being walked in it out of the car. My dog is squirmy but had no issues putting it on via setting it over her head first then pulling her legs through. However, she was able to back out of it once when I was getting her out of the car.

Altogether, I was really impressed with the quality of this product, particularly its construction. It's worth the money to keep your dogs, yourself, and your family safe in the car.

Our first Boxer went through at least four roadies (out grew them). I gave them to friends as she out grew them. My favorite was the sheep shin lined one. Also liked the way they clipped at the shoulder vs this style that has to slip over the head. Very hard to get on!!!!! It is not pleasant for the dog. You want your dog to enjoy the roadie not dread it! Once on it is comfortable I think.

I purchased this product after reading many reviews on here and other sites. Though some reviews were negative against it, the majority were positive. Before purchasing this, my dog, a 4-month old English Shepherd would inhale his food like it was his last and only supper. It would literally take him 30 seconds to whiff down a 1 1/2 cups of dry dog food. I don't think he even tasted it! The first time I used this product, it took him 15 minutes. I thought, "Yes!!" Big mistake as it was premature. Over the next 7 days, he reduced his eating time down to about 2 minutes for the same amount! And, no, he doesn't flip the feeder upside down. It's just that he's "figured out" how to scarf down his food efficiently using this "devise". While this might work for some dogs, I unfortunately am back to the drawing board to find a product that will truly slow him down. The product itself is of excellent quality, is wide and heavy enough so as not easily "flippable". However, if your dog has a large snout, this might not be a wise use of money, as the spacing between the "blades of grass" are not wide enough to get a large snout down. Thus, your dog will have to resort to using his tongue like a lizard to get his morsels. I may revert back to this feeder, once my dog and his snout gets larger. Who knows, by then, he might just flip the entire feeder over, which is a good thing to keep in mind. If you have a smart dog and he paws this feeder upside down, that's it. The game is up. Fortunately, after my dog did this one time, we relocated the feeder in such a manner where he couldn't do this again.

First off: I love this feeder and so does my dog. It elongated dinner time from 90 seconds to well over 10 Minutes and the dog is not gagging anymore after an especially intense feeding time.

The material is nice very smooth, well finished hard plastic, my dog has not yet tried to chew it. It's dishwasher safe.

Buyers, beware: it's fairly large (about 16" long by 11-1/2" wide) and the "grass" is up to 3" tall. My medium sized dog needed to get used to a technique to get his food pebbles out of it but it was a great game and still results in eat/play time.

However, while smaller dogs with a longer snout should be OK with this, I do not recommend this product for pugs or other small dogs with short noses, they might not be able to reach the food. Larger dogs with short snouts should be OK due to longer tongues.

This product is MUCH LARGER than I ever anticipated it would be I think that is the only drawback ---the manufacturer says one size works for all dog breeds and sizes, but I beg to differ and I think it would be great if they made a smaller version for toy size dogs.

That said, it does work to slow down the eating process, though my little ones like to use their paws to move the food around. I also have a couple of dogs who are "scared" of it right now and so they won't go near it, even when the food is in the "plate"... I figure eventually they will get hungry enough to overcome those issues... and in the meantime the other dogs like it just fine. I have purchased several of these because we are a multiple dog household, and after just a couple of feedings, I think this is a product that will definitely help with the gobblers in our pack.

I do recommend this, but I think it is more for dogs over 20lbs. and it's kind of strange to use with tiny 4 to 6 lb. dogs.

I have purchased several of these for myself and as gifts for other dog owners. It can be adjusted to fit on your waist which makes it easy to get treats fast when training. The only issue II have is with the clasp for opening and shutting the top. It works great but maybe because i use it alot, it breaks so it doesn't stay closed. Works as described, but the seam of the Cordura fabric at the opening scratches my knuckles each time I reach into the pouch. Also, a rounded bottom instead of a square one would make it easier to fish out treats. The tiny cubes of treats that we use for our smallish dog get trapped down in the bottom corners of the pouch where it's heard to get them out as fast as necessary to reward the dog correctly. These two design issues are the reason I'm not giving this 5 stars.

I read the reviews (2) for this before ordering. I like the design of the pouch and hope the metal spring thing that opens and closes does not break as one reviewer said it did. I do not find that the material scratches my knuckles as another reviewer said it did. I wear it low on my waist, actually at my hip, thigh area, to make it easy to reach and does not spill when open while bending over to my dog. I love the 2 extra little pockets. The clicker is not very loud, but I have never used a clicker before to know how loud they should be. Overall, so far I really like it!

This is a very nice kit. It holds loads of treats. The clicker could be louder, but I did purchase a separate one that was reported by many to be 'too loud', and it was really no louder than the one that came with the kit. The little wrist band to hold the clicker is very useful. The kit is well made, easy to put on and take off, and it's very easy to get treats out since the opening at the top of the pouch stays open by itself. I have no complaints whatsoever with this kit.

I was very disappointed in the quality of these pads.

The urine is absorbed into the pad but the moisture soaks right through the plastic liner.

I went through a box of the Nature's Miracle pads in a matter of days.

If you use a cloth, moisture resistant pad first and then place one of these pads on top, that might work.

Or, double up the pads placing one on to of another.

Otherwise, I would not recommend these pads.

I went back to Wee Wee brand (Four Paws): the plastic liner does not allow moisture to soak through.

I have two dogs that are aging and have various health problems; both of them use the pads.

I wasn't sure how to rate these. I have bought these puppy pads for at least a year. These are the only ones I tried and they absorb the fastest, don't leak, and don't smell. I was upset when our store stopped carrying them, so I ordered them online. For some reason this box just isn't as good. They don't hold as much, and they smell. They are the exact same brand, type, etc. I really hope this isn't how they are, maybe I just got some from a bad run. If my next box is like this I will look for a new brand. It's really disappointing, they are normally the best.

This product is absolutely outstanding. I woulld give it 6 stars if I could...We have more than one cat that seem to have problems locating the litter box to pee, and placing one of these in front of the box is all that is needed to give them a place they will seek out and use (instead of the carpet in our familty room). These pads have a very high capacity for absorbing liquid and they prevent any tracking that might happen,,,, as advertised. We have a tile floor, where the litter box is located, so I tape the edges of the pad to the floor with clear packing tape...it helps keep the pad stable when the cats try to 'cover it up' with their paws..It is amazing how heavy the 'used pads' are after the cats have had a chance to use them..And despite the amount of urine that is in the pad, they do not leak when rolling them up to dispose of..and there is NO odor....This product has truly solved a problem we have had that has been intractable for a year or more. Would definitely recommend!

These are solid white on both sides and you have to study them very carefully to make sure you put the absorbent side up, else you end up with a waterproof surface and end up with spills onto the floor. There are better designed products out there. In other brands I buy the top facing absorbent side is white in the center, with a blue trim and the side that faces the floor is solid blue. This serves 2 purposes. First the dog can me clearly see the blue edge to help guide targeting, and second is that having solid blue on the bottom side makes it easy to avoid making a mistake when changing them in a hurry.

I was excited to see Nature's Miracle made pads, no tracking pads at that. Unfortunately, I'm quite disappointed in the product. I have a 3 month old pug...so its not a large puppy at all..5lbs maybe. I figured I could get away with changing them fully once, twice a day tops. To my dismay, they have to be changed almost every time he pees....they leak clean through. They also don't absorb the urine odor like I thought they would. Unfortunately, I would not recommend these unless they are used for a dog that has the occasional accident.

I have a 17 year old miniature poodle and have been buy these diapers for over a year. They were great! However, within the last couple of months, the quality has gone down, way down. They leak and don't last through the night any longer. In a side-by-side comparison with the original product, the current diapers are smaller and have significantly less absorbent --all for the same price! I don't know why, but it seems that over the past few months they have changed the way they make the diapers. The tape tabs seem to break off. So I put a diaper on the dog at night and it breaks and comes off while she sleeps. I think they should go back to the old way of manufacturing them.

I'm going to add some more info now that we've had the Ssscat for awhile. I took it down from 5 stars to 4 mostly because it doesn't always work. As you can see in the video with the second cat. I thought it was because of the batteries but after testing with fresh/more powerful batteries I found that it simply works when it wants too.

The reason I still give it 4 stars is because it's put fear into my cats and simply placing in an area I don't want them to be seems to be enough to keep them away.

So all in all, it's done what we need it to do even if it doesn't always work the way it's supposed to, however it is a bit overpriced for something that doesn't always work.

The Ssscat does what it says it senses your cat, and then lets loose a spray and an alarm squeal. We have a very bad cat, but after a few encounters with this thing, he has stayed off the countertops. We recently got a second, so that we can have one for the dining room table and one for the baby's bassinet, and they're working fine as well. (You can call me a control freak, but there's something very satisfying about hearing the spray & alarm at 2 in the morning, followed by the sounds of a running cat.)

A couple pieces of advice: (1) You will need 4 AAA batteries per unit. (2) The spray is good for a few months to a year, depending on how many times you forget the unit is there and spray yourself. At that point, you can either buy the refill can or just rely on the sound alarm. (3) The alarm usually goes off once after you arm the unit, while it's "warming up." To avoid wasting a spray, I set it to "sound only" until the warm up alarm is over, then turn it to the "sound + spray" setting.

One of our cats likes to piddle on the futon in our porch. I have two ssscats set up in there. Now she stays away even though they are not turned on. She just has to see them and she runs. It is a safe, effective, and humane way to deal with any kitties who might have a favorite spot to pee, other than the litter box.

I assembled and set this item up on my kitchen counter. I wanted to train my cat to believe that the universe would punish him for intruding upon the place where food comes from. My wife and I hid around the corner, and got ready for some laughs. The cat jumped on the counter, and went about his business knocking down food items for the other cat, who I suspect is the actual brains of the operation. The SSSCAT sat silently, implicitly advocating the intrusion through inaction; like the Vatican during the Holocaust.

Finally, I grabbed my coffee can full of pennies, and did what had to be done. The SSSCAT responded by spraying me with air, from about 10 feet away.

And that's the SSSCAT for you. It has deterred the cat approximately zero times for every dozen times it sprays a human. We don't go near the counters anymore. Conversely, our cat has doubled his countergoing efforts; possibly to mock our attempts to curtail the incursions, for he knows good and well that the SSSCAT is on his side.

I predict at this point that the SSSCAT will eventually deplete itself and end up in the trash. I certainly don't plan to buy any refills.

And maybe someday down the road, my wife and I will re-learn how to approach the kitchen counter without fear.

10-Foot Open Tunnel

My puppy and I have been loving this tunnel for about two weeks. I set it up on the backyard patio so my pup can run thru it as we train. Its only been about 2 weeks, but the fabric that encases the wire hoop is quickly decomposing the wire is exposed. This is not on the inside due to the dog, its the outside apparently due to the elements. Sure you would think this would break down after spending maybe a full hot summer in the sun, but 2 weeks during fairly mild weather on a dry surface? You would think this material would be more resilient for outdoor use.

Pet Convincer - Dog Training Device - Air

This device definitely will make a dog avoid what you want them to. In fact they are scared witless around it. I use it to keep my 100 lb. German Shepherd away from the goat pen gate because his prey instinct is a little too high, and there have been damages to the animals. But, especially on anxious fear biters like GS pups, I would never use this for anything that involved people, children, babies or anything the dog might be involved in for work. Never use it except as a last resort and for a serious problem. The dog will get very neurotic if you do. You will need to buy the box of extra cartridges because you will have to repeat this intervention every so often.

My wife and I did not buy this from Amazon, but we did acquire one recently to help curtail barking at the window when someone walks by.

We have a 4 y.o. shepherd mix and an 8 y.o. collie mix. The shepherd is scared of just the Pet convincer being in our hand, and if we click the safety lock she gets away from the window immediately. The collie takes a bit more to break his attention, but a short burst of about 1/2 of a second is all it takes to make him jump and run from the window.

We have a Norwegian Elkhound-known for their barking. We have tried the zap collar, citronella spray collar and training even bribary with his favorite treats. Nothing helped us with his barking. Although I know the Pet Convincer is intended to be used to curb unwanted behaviors in one's own dog, I bought it to repel off-leash dogs who are allowed by their owners to come barreling over to my dog and harrass him while he's minding his own business on our (leashed and legal!) walks. Spray repellents can be tricky on windy days, ultrasonic devices bother MY dog as well as the problem dog, but this device suits my needs totally. Note: I did some positive reinforcement training with my dog to desensitize him to the noise. Now when a furry tornado comes our way, I turn to face them, hit the trigger (the sound is like a forceful snake hiss ) and I stamp my foot and that's usually enough to send them back the way they came and we can enjoy our walk in peace!
