it is easy enough to assemble and use

although with that transmitter model you don't have a remote turn on/off you use the "buzz" button while touching transmitter to the receiver.

also light will stay on even if the receiver is turned off.

so brightness if you are looking directly at it it's kinda bright looking.

but if your dog has a long or even medium coat it is mostly hidden.

Before buying this (and after) I've been using a normal human headlamp (petzl) to walk the dog at night we usually go out really late and with an almost black dog off leash you need some way to know where the dog is, and for that this thing (the Tracer) does not help much.

And I am not talking about 1/2 mile more like 30 feet in a neighborhood with no street lights and some grass filled empty lots can't see him.

So I am still using the head lamp not super-bright just an old petzl with 3 leds and 3 AAA batteries, for any medium sized dog it's not too heavy, and even if you can't see the petzl you can see the bright spot on the ground it sort of points at the dog's feet a little more forward and it would look like he is lighting his way with a headlamp.

so while I would have preferred a single rechargeable unit with light and control collar there are cheaper and more visible things you can do.

I recommend these lights for walking your dogs at night. The lights were easy to install. You will need a phillips screwdriver with a small head. Definitely worth the money.

I have a cat the urinates in alot of inappropriate places the back patio and garage among them. I spray this product on the places he pees and it seems to help. He is no longer peeing on the patio. It does smell bad but it goes away quickly outside and in the garage.

Along with training, this spray offers an initial repulsion for our dog. However, upon first spraying, the entire room had a strong chemical smell. This subsided after about 5 minutes (not bad). I bought several new throw rugs, and purchased this to keep the dog off them once and for all. I got 2 cans, and sprayed a light even spray morning and night. It had some effect, but not what I hoped for. The can sprays a super fine mist, so you must go over the area several times, using the 1st can up quickly. (I am looking for something in a powder form-something that will stay in the rug a little longer.)

After patching the hole my puppy chewed in the wall, I sprayed this product, Simple Solution, liberally over the patch. Came home today and she had chewed the exact same place. I think hair spray would have had a better result at less money. This product is a complete and utter consumer rip-off!

I have a male dog that lifts his leg. No reason other then marking in the house, drives me crazy. The older version was not as fine a spray and I think I liked that better. Great dog toy. It would be fairly simple to make one of these, but if you can get it decently priced like i did, it is well worth it. I am in a apt and tied this on the upper deck on my patio. it has a little 4in bungy that allows it give and go for your dog. The only complaint was the rope with balls was pretty cheap and my dog tore through it in about a week. The big positive is that it is really easy to just replace the rope. You can pretty much get any kind of rope to replace. I just bought a larger more sturdy rope for it and it has lasted almost the past year.

This particular design was an upgrade over previous ones that I have used. I experienced the indentical issue a previous reviewer mentioned. I used it on a Basset Hound we had that barked through out the night. It was very effective as other ones we have used in the past. We are a dog daycare and boarding facility that prefers to use a more humane method for bark control when we have the ocassional dog that never quite settles down for the night. The dog we used it on should have been pretty easy on the unit. The next morning the entire thing was split along the edge and appears to be defective. I was hoping for something stronger than previous models, but this in no way met my expectations. I will be contacting the manufacturer to return.

I bought this to replace another collar (same make and model) that had gotten damaged after about 6 months of use. The old collar still worked, but not as well as it had when brand new. The new collar I purchased broke immediately. The housing cracked and wouldn't hold the spray. I purchased another one locally and the same thing happened. I don't know why the first collar performed so well and the 2 after it didn't. Perhaps they altered the design slightly or part of the manufacturing process. Anyway, my dog got used to the spray collar after awhile and stopped responding to it. I finally had to buy a static collar, which I have found to be remarkably effective.

UPDATE! I've bought 4 of these, 2 were red, 2 were blue. 1 red one broke within 6 months, and now a blue one has broken in 4 months. The red one stopped working completely (changed the batteries and everything) and the blue one has 1 working light and the rest are completely dead. At first if I twisted the blue collar I could get the other lights to briefly work but then they would go out again. This indicates to me very cheap wiring. I already knew it was of cheap construction at the battery casing, but now with the light issue I know the wiring is really poor. The sad part is I only used these on walks and never attached a leash to them. So for the wiring to become disconnected or severed just from my dogs walking around in them really indicates very poor quality. I would not recommend this product at all anymore. I've changed my rating to 1 start because of that.

It's very bright and seems to be of pretty sturdy construction (metal clip). Its a bit hard to press down and activate, but I like that because that way my dogs wont deactivate them by running around. I've had them for about a month, and so far a very solid product. I'm thinking about buy 4 more and attaching them at 3 points evenly along a collar. That way they're lite up from all angles. Its probably over kill, as 1 really does the job....but its just something I'm thinking about.

This is the 2nd LED dog collar I've bought in the last year and I am quite pleased with the blue version. The first one I purchased was the red version of this collar. I really prefer the blue to the red, as its MUCH brighter. Having 2 golden retrievers their fur has a way of obscuring the lights. With the blue version the light has no trouble being seen, even through the fur. I found the red ones to not quite get the job done because of the fur issue, thus that's why I bought the blue version. Even without putting either collar on my dogs the blue version is still much brighter than the red.

I walk both my goldens on a trail along a local bayou at 5am, way before the sun comes up. These suckers really help me see where my dogs are while off lease (no worries, no roads or cars anywhere nearby).

Only 2 negative things I will say about them is they really go through their batteries at a decent rate (usually last around 3 maybe 4 weeks 1/2 hour walk every day) and the battery casing is made out of cheaper plastic. I highly recommend buying the 'Bluecell 25 pack of the CR2025 lithium button cell battery' sold on amazon (buying these type of batteries in stores is MUCH more expensive!!). Its a pretty easy deal to change the batteries out...you just need a small phillips head screwdriver (the size that you would use to work on the inside of a computer) to remove the screw from the plastic casing and then put in 2 new batteries. I use the screwdriver to push out the old ones and slide the new ones in place. Just be careful with the plastic casing when you're putting it back together. As I mentioned its pretty cheap plastic and can break if you manhandle it...plus the wiring seems delicate as well. The hinge that keeps it together at one end is a plastic bar that fits into a plastic fitting, so if you don't have it set correctly when you screw it back together you can break the bar. Its really not a big deal at all if you just take your time and be careful with it.

I only use this collar as a light device, not a primary collar, so I don't attach leashes to it. I still leave my dogs other collars on and attach the leash to that. I don't want to risk the chance of putting additional pressure on the collar with having a leash attached and my dogs pulling on it (usually only when they see a cat or squirrel). I'm not saying you couldn't, I just haven't tried to because I want these suckers to last and the only reason I have them is for a light device.

UPDATE! For whatever reason these blue LED collars batteries last WAY longer than the red LED collars. I have no idea if they started putting in better batteries from the start or what. But I've been using them daily now for just over 3 months and haven't had to replace the batteries yet. I probably will later this week as it seems like they're slightly less bright then when I started. But still, its a HUGE improvement over the red LED collars I had before.

This collar was awesome when I took it out of the package and put it on my dogs. It is bright, colorful, LED, and has three light settings. I was so excited (being a sucker for flashing lights). However, the on/off button was poorly located. Everytime my dogs scratched, layed down, played, etc... they would turn the collars on themselves. The batteries lasted almost a whole week. Ok I understand that when you leave something on, the batteries run dead. So I gave the collars the benefit of the doubt, and bought new batteries. Each collar takes two batteries at $1.50 a battery. I replaced the batteries and much to my complete disappointment, one collar had only one LED work on it. The other collar didn't work at all. My inspection of the collars concluded that with all of the playing, scratching, etc... the battery compartment was easily compromised, being made of thin plastic. This more than likely allowed water/dirt inside the battery compartment, shorting out the electrical wiring. Will not buy another one. This is a cheap, cheap, cheap collar until they relocate the battery compartment (on/off button), and make it out of something a little more durable than thin plastic.

Don't waste your money on this. All you will get is an expensive dog collar. It doesn't do anything. Not sure if it is broken. Put it together, put it on the dog and hit the button. Nothing. Tried it when the dog was asleep, again, nothing. Plastic and cheap.

When I first opened the box I was oddly irritated that it was wrapped in clear tape that shredded all the design of the box that made it look ugly. But that is totally irrelevant. He paid no mind to it but when it was on his neck he seemed a little more agitated but every time I buzzed it I gave him a treat and he very soon figured out that he would get a treat with a buzz hence why I love it. It's small and for first time use perfect. I even bought rechargeable triple AAA batteries as suggested by other users due to low battery life.

The great thing is that you can also attach it to a regular collar and works just at good.

I choked on the price every time I came here to look at this, but in the end I decided that if it really kept my dog in the fence, it would well more than pay for itself. Thank goodness, it keeps our sneak of a dog on the right side of the fence. At first he would try to take it off and was generally displeased with the arrangement, but he doesn't even seem to notice it now, and I don't have to make a run for it when his bathroom break turns into a jailbreak.

Little tip, buy a cheap $3 collar with a buckle to just leave in the puppy bumper. 1. You'll use it a lot more because of the convenience. 2. If they do somehow manage to get it off and get lost, you want to make sure their tags are still on them by being on a separate collar.

This product has given our little dog much more freedom. Because she was small enough to go through our picket fence she could not have the run of the yard. She was either on a leash or cable. In regard to the review about the hassle of putting it on their collar while they wait, we simply got a second collar that we leave attached to the bumper. I thought this was a great idea! However, you have to have the collar looped through it, and it's not so easy to do that with an anxious dog wanting to go out! Also, if you don't use the collar, which is not included, it's just a snap and comes off easy. In addition, my dogs thought they were chew toys and one of them would chew on the others bumper. Needless to say... we used them maybe a total of 1 week and they've been in a drawer since then... guess I should list them for sale as "like new".

I never used cat box liners, always thinking they were wasteful and put unnecessary plastic into the environment. Then my cat started peeing on my laundry as it sat in the basket in the closet. This is a decent treat bag in my opinion. The pouch rarely stays open long enough for me to grab a treat the slightest touch closes it. Which is sometimes a good thing! With other bags I'd bend over and lose treats or a dog would be able to grab them, which is why this is still a good bag. But I do wish it stayed open better. Other than that there's a VERY small zip pocket on the inner side (I can only fit my driver's license in there), and a velcro pouch on the front side (I use it for poop bags, keys and my clicker for training). Really not room for anything else. If I need to carry more than usual, I will put the treats in a ziplock baggy first then put them in the main pouch so I can also throw other stuff in that pocket without worrying about crumbs.

Overall, it's nice and durable and in my opinion worth the money. But I also think it's not the best pouch out there still looking for that one.

I volunteer at the Denver Dumb Friends League (largest animal shelter in Colorado) and was looking for a treat bag to hold not only treats but other items that I need to have during my shift. If you are training a dog and are working towards a high rate of reinforcement or need to keep track of the number treats, this is not the bag you need.

The bag is huge and can fit hundreds of the size treat that I use for training, way more than I need. Unfortunately unless you have that many treats in the bag they are hard to get out because the inside of the bag has very deep corners where the treats like to hide.

I would have preferred a smaller bag with no corners for the treats to get lost in. I bought this as a novice trainer so did not realize what a good bag for quick treating would look like so I take some responsibility but my hand gets lost in this bag trying to find treats hidden in the corners and it several seconds (1 second is preferred) between the time I click and can reliably treat my dog.

My next bag will certainly be smaller with no corners.

However, when I first put mine in use, I immediately noticed that the top opening or "mouth" of the bag is somewhat difficult to get into, and it does not stay open well when you want it to. There is a steel strip on each side of the opening that causes the mouth to spring shut in a somewhat forceful manner. It is difficult to get the mouth to stay open-it always wants to spring shut. If I had to do it all over again, I would just buy a treat bag with an open mouth-it would be much easier than dealing with this bag.

Pet Convincer - Dog Training Device - Air

This device definitely will make a dog avoid what you want them to. In fact they are scared witless around it. I use it to keep my 100 lb. German Shepherd away from the goat pen gate because his prey instinct is a little too high, and there have been damages to the animals. But, especially on anxious fear biters like GS pups, I would never use this for anything that involved people, children, babies or anything the dog might be involved in for work. Never use it except as a last resort and for a serious problem. The dog will get very neurotic if you do. You will need to buy the box of extra cartridges because you will have to repeat this intervention every so often.

My wife and I did not buy this from Amazon, but we did acquire one recently to help curtail barking at the window when someone walks by.

We have a 4 y.o. shepherd mix and an 8 y.o. collie mix. The shepherd is scared of just the Pet convincer being in our hand, and if we click the safety lock she gets away from the window immediately. The collie takes a bit more to break his attention, but a short burst of about 1/2 of a second is all it takes to make him jump and run from the window.

We have a Norwegian Elkhound-known for their barking. We have tried the zap collar, citronella spray collar and training even bribary with his favorite treats. Nothing helped us with his barking. Although I know the Pet Convincer is intended to be used to curb unwanted behaviors in one's own dog, I bought it to repel off-leash dogs who are allowed by their owners to come barreling over to my dog and harrass him while he's minding his own business on our (leashed and legal!) walks. Spray repellents can be tricky on windy days, ultrasonic devices bother MY dog as well as the problem dog, but this device suits my needs totally. Note: I did some positive reinforcement training with my dog to desensitize him to the noise. Now when a furry tornado comes our way, I turn to face them, hit the trigger (the sound is like a forceful snake hiss ) and I stamp my foot and that's usually enough to send them back the way they came and we can enjoy our walk in peace!

Yes, my pups love these chewy treats and I love the fact that they are made in the USA. I'm currently using them for training treats since they are so popular, and since my pups are still small (13 pounds and 7 pounds) I break them into three pieces. Now this would be a ridiculous thing to do with a big dog, but with the pups it takes them some time to eat even a third (about the size of a Chiclet) because they are chewy.

Made from Chicken, Brown rice, barley flour, cane molasses, vegetable glycerin, chicken liver, gelatin, apples, carrots, salt, phosphoric acid, sorbic acid (as a preservative) mixed tocopherols (also a perservative) glucosamine hydrocholoride, and chondroitin sulfate.

A 10-30 pound dog should get 2 treats/day. This is graduated up to 5 for a dog over 95 pounds.

These snacks stay soft in their resealable bag or in sealed baggies, have a pleasant but not overwhelming smell that my girls really like, and taste delicious according to my shelties. I appreciate it that they are very easy to break in half or into quarters even with my arthritic fingers and make terrific training treats and rewards that I can be sure are not loaded with calories. I wish more dog foods and snacks provided calorie and nutritional information like the kind on packaged foods for humans.

Bought these for my little Pomeranian so that I could give her lots of treats without making her a little fatty. She's still slim and active and enjoys these treats to no end! One tip I would give is to be sure that you do not let them dry out. If you don't seal the bag perfectly before putting it away they become hard and ashy :( My dog still eats them, obviously, she doesn't care! But she liked them much more when they were soft. This happened as I neared the end of my first bag, so next time I just kept most sealed up and just took out some in a smaller ziplock for more active use. (Since I treated her every day, going to the main package open/closing it was multiple times to risk the whole batch!) Other than that, which isn't really their fault, totally my fault! I recommend these for sure! It's much better than giving your dog human food or high calorie treats they don't need!

My puppy loves these treats. My husband and I sometimes break them up even smaller and that's so easy to do because they are soft. They smell nice and meaty too. I am glad they offer a low calorie option.

If anyone else is worried about their dog gaining weight, this product is a good option and I've also purchased 1/2 calorie treats from another brand. He likes both a lot.

Tip: you can also give dogs some of their daily rationed food as "treats" while training ...if they eat kibble. (My boy eats raw and canned food but he gets kibble or treats like Old Mother Hubbard Snacks during training)

My dog is a 10 yr old corgi mix, she has the long basset hound shape & is prone to pinching nerves & joint aches, the vet had given me some glucosamine chews when she had a seizure, that worked great, but I didn't want to spend the money to keep up with those. I was very skeptical regarding the efficacy of this product but am delighted to report my skepticism was misplaced. All I can say is WOW.

Nature's Miracle, Simple Solution all of those products that come in big. heavy gallon jugs, cost a fortune (especially when you consider what you're cleaning up doesn't it just bug the daylights out of you to spend upwards of $20 $30 a gallon just to clean up urine?), and take up much-needed storage space are replaced by this one product that weighs ounces. We have hard surfaces and five animals, three cats and one dog. One dog is 16yrs old and a little senile; another a puppy. Between the two of them alone there's plenty of cleanup to do.

To use, fill the empty container (included with Fizzion Concentrated Cleaner (32 oz)) or another sturdy 32oz spray bottle with warm water. The tablets dissolve faster in warm water. Once they've dissolved, it's ready for use.

I have worked in dog rescue for many years and have cared for nine family dogs of our own. I have rescue dogs that aren't housetrained and in some cases they have repeatedly urinated on carpet until I can get them trained. Sometimes one will inspire the others to go in the same place and it can be horrible. I just found this product last week and it is unbelievable! I had a large stain that I worked on for a week with a variety of supposedly wonder products but had no luck removing it completely. Read about Fizzion in a newsletter I receive and figured I didn't have anything to lose....inexpensive, pet safe, works when everything else fails. Bingo! How I love products that do what they promise. Old stains, new stains, makes no difference. Gone in a flash with no gross perfume or chemical smell. I'm hooked. Will never be without this. The best!

Update to my original review above: I've found that this product tends to lose its efficacy when it sits around for awhile so unless you have major messes quite frequently I'd suggest cutting the tablet in half and using only 8 oz. of water. Still works great and I have no complaints as to its ability to remove stains.

Theres nothing I can add to the effectiveness of Fizzion for pet cleanup, especially cats that's been said. I'm hooked for life.

What I found is that there's so much more you can use Fizzion for. Around the toilet, especially with boys and men, there's always this over-spray and misses. I now use Fizzion to clean that up spraying the walls and all around. I also use it to clean the toilet in between bleaching. I ran out of counter cleaner one day after cleaning up after the pets and found it works great. I found the ants, the bain my kitchen, appears to not be on the counter so I guess Fizzion gets rid of the odors that attracts them. I've now stopped buying the expensive cleaner for counters. I have one in my bathroom now and one in the kitchen.

I've been wondering how it works as a spray to get rid of room odors. The smell is pleasant and I think it would work. Going to try that next. I'm finding there's no limit for this product!
