We use this lead with our 60lb weimeraner who wants to go get love from everyone we pass on a walk. It keeps her close, feels great in the hand, looks good and is strong. Great product.

I have a service dog and so I needed a high quality, good looking short leash.

It's well-built, strong..HOWEVER..the dye job on the leather was scraped off the first time I used it. Now it looks terrible.

It's too bad...the manufacturer has a quality product but it looks terrible after the superficial "paint" (dye) wore off on first use.

Despite the previous review, this ball CANNOT get stuck on a dogs tongue (there was a recall of a different toy a while back, but it WAS NOT this one.) The Amaze-A-Ball is great! It has half-walls inside of it so the dog really has to work to get the treats over and between the sections and out the other end of the ball. It is very sturdy also. It won't stand up to a dog trying to shred it, but my dogs are more interested in getting the treats out (and trying to rip the holes bigger) but there's been no damage to this in almost a year! I'm buying another one.

Almost 4 years later and this ball is still in perfect condition. I've used it with over a dozen clients' dogs and it is still in one piece. I recommend these all the time! The only downside is that they are "easy" for dogs who are already very accustomed to food dispensing toys. I like to use these for dogs new to the food-toys world, as they will succeed and therefor keep trying more quickly than a more difficult toy like a Tug a Jug or Buster Cube. These are still one of my favorites!!

the ball is soft enough for my Boston Terrier to pick up and carry. The hole is too large for dog "food" for which I had ordered it. She loves the ball and likes playing with it. It is tough for she chews on it.

I purchased one of these years ago and my dogs LOVE it! I wanted another and was pleased to see them available on Amazon. They are durable-good for large dogs. I have Chesapeakes and Saint Bernards-this one has lasted through two Chessies and now belongs to my three Saint Bernard puppies and they LOVE it! It bounces if you wanted to toss it (empty, of course!) or just allow your dog to roll it around on the floor or in a crate. I will fill it and give it to my older Chessie as a comfort toy in his crate during thunderstorms.

Other treat balls that are made of two halves scare me-if your dog gets it apart-it could be splintered or broken. This one is easy to fill and takes treats from really small up to large dog kibble. The only small issue is not a design flaw as much as a puppy "quirk", but sometimes my puppies drop it in their large water dish and if the inside gets wet, you have to wait a day or two for it to really dry out before filling it. Another reason for me to get another one!

This ball is the best! My dog absolutely loves it. I have bought other treat dispenser toys and my dog has become a pro at getting treats out in a matter of seconds, which defeats the purpose of working for it and giving the dog mental stimulation. This ball with the maze inside solves the problem by making it more of a challenge to get the treats out and can keep an active dog busy for a while, which is nice.

I lost our previous ball and couldn't find a replacement in the stores nearby anywhere and my dog and I really missed it, we had this ball for about 2 years and it held up well (Boston Terrier) so I will be purchasing a couple here, so glad I found it!

This is a great treat ball, soft rubber so it rolls and bumps and silently as possible indoors. Even the largest size is fine for a puppy unless you have a toy or teacup size.

I put the treats in through the large hole and then roll the ball side to side to ensure they all get to the bottom. I feed my pup in part of his breakfast in this every day.

The maze inside makes sure it takes a bit to get it out, but it is easy enough that he doesn't get frustrated even when he is super hungry.

GREAT toy, easy loading, I like it better than the Omgega treat ball cause the material is softer and thus quieter on the wood floors. Likely not for strong chewers. The Everlasting Fun Ball is better if you have a heavy chewer or want a long lasting treat ball.

We use these for our elderly tiny poodle she weighs only 5 lbs but has a very tiny waist as poodles do. We put liners in her diapers for overnight but it's not required during the day. An important thing I learned is this you MUST stick the tabs on a special band at the top of the diaper on her back.. It's not easy to see but it's got a rather dull look to it and is about 1 1/2 in. wide. If you miss the band and stick it to the plastic you will not be able to reuse the diaper because the plastic will stick like glue to the tabs. So watch for that band at the very upper part of the back of the diaper. You also have to push open the opening for her tail but it's there just look for it. We were paying 7.99 at a pet shop. Then I found them at an online shop PetEdge.com for only 4.99. I ordered 8 packs. Even with the shipping and a "minimum order charge" they are still cheaper than the 7.99 we were paying locally (plus tax) and FAR CHEAPER than Amazon. They are exactly the same diaper. This is the only brand I can find that comes in Mini. Don't even try the cloth cover diapers with liners it gets wet every time and they are very expensive. Even with buying the little liner pads for these Mini's they still come out cheaper than what we were paying and SO MUCH cheaper than Amazon. Give these a try if you need this mini size. They fit much better than the X-Small we were using when we couldn't locate the Mini. I'm happy to have found PetEdge to get them at a much better price.

Some reviewers mentioned the click was too loud. And I must admit it is indeed loud. I was very aprehensive about purchasing it because of this problem. However, I heard so much praise about clicker training that I bought it with the intention of muffling the sound by adhering some sound absorbing materials to the clicker to reduce the loudness of the click. Well, as soon as I got my hands on it I discovered an easy way to reduce the loudness of the click. Here is how:

Simply place the clicker with the orange button facing down on or just before that fatty tissue part of your palm that the thumb extends out of. Then apply firm pressure to the back side of the clicker by folding your four fingers on top the clicker. Make the pressure just firm enough so that clicker sound holes are pressing against the fatty tissue of your palm, then when needed just apply a little more pressure with the four fingers on the back of the clicker to make it click. If you have the clicker positioned at the proper angle the lanyard hole will be inline with the middle of your wrist.

Don't waste time with the cheap dog-bone clickers. This is reliable and you never find you're mashing the "wrong end" and failing to make the noise precisely when you need to. This was just the right clicker for me and my GSMD puppy when we were both learning marker/clicker training technique. That said, I finally switched to using my voice (I follow Ed Frawley's training advice and now YES! takes the place of click). Why? because with a leash, treats, and other gear there's one less thing to manage by hand, I never misplace my voice, and am always prepared to emit the behavior marker at the correct time! The switch from clicker to voice was no problem for either me or my dog, and there are still uses for these excellent clickers in training.

OK, I was anxious to get started so first I went to Petsmart to buy it in person. But they didn't have it, so I ended up buying one of those little bone ones. DON'T DO THAT! It broke within five minutes of using it.

I did some reading on the clicker method of training and was so excited to begin with our 10 month old dachshund and 9 year old yellow headed Amazon that I ran out and bought one of those yellow dog bone ones at PetCo. It was a piece of junk; not loud enough to use outside when doing leash training and it could barely be heard over normal house hold conversations.

So, I found this one on Amazon and in reading the reviews another person had the same problem with the dog bone ones. So I ordered it and just got it today and it is a wonderful clicker. Fits nicely into your hand, the button is easy to find and it makes a nice loud click that can be heard inside and out over normal conversations yet it is not so loud as to scare our somewhat skittish parrot.

I would recommend this highly.

Yes, this does click. It's sturdy and others have said it is loud. Loud worked for me because I have 6 dogs and when 6 dogs start barking most clickers just won't do. However; One day, while fiddling with a Snapple cap, it clicked. My dogs reacted to the clicking sound just as they did to the clicker. Love it. This works great for me as I have a Boxer and a Boston Terrier which are quite different in height. The leash allows me to set it longer for the little dog so that each of them has the same amount of lead. Much heavier duty than I thought. Love the swivel no more getting tangled.

I have a 50 lb. lab/Pitt mix and a 10 lb. toy poodle. I just got the leash in the mail today and tried it out; what a difference this will make for me. I have been walking the dogs with two separate retractable leashes that would continuously get tangled up especially if while walking we encountered another dog. This leash is adjustable so that I can lengthen the leash for one dog or shorten it. I was a little concerned about purchasing the leash due to the reviews mentioning that the coupler was too heavy for toy breeds but I don't find the leash to be heavy for my 10 lb. toy poodle.

I own two huskies, who walk fairly well on a leash. I thought this item would make it alot easier for me to walk the two together, but I was wrong. The clip that does the adjustment of the lenght isn't strong enough. It was constantly allowing slippage and the lenght that I had set between the two dogs was becoming larger. Very happy with the IRIS 8 panel pen. We purchased the pen for our yorkie poo puppy to have a safe place to play, since we also have a large lab. It is roomy and spacious enough . The sides are pretty tall making it slightly difficult to bend over and pick the puppy up ( there is a door) It's very lightweight (plastic, but durable) making it easy to move around.

Training Handle Leash (Black Bones)

I love the size and length of this leash. It's exactly right. I can keep my dog at my side very easily, but I don't need constant tension on the leash while walking normally.

Unfortunately, the actual fabric of the handle is rough and will start to chafe your hand if you use it for too long. It also doesn't feel as durable as a regular nylon leash.

I wasn't crazy about all the kiddy designs, either, but that wasn't a big deal. I would have given it 5 stars if it were made out of a more skin-friendly material.

I never used cat box liners, always thinking they were wasteful and put unnecessary plastic into the environment. Then my cat started peeing on my laundry as it sat in the basket in the closet. I decided he needed to have a scrupulously clean litter box, and, being a busy person, I really need to have a speedy cleanup option I don't have time to take the litter box outside, wash it out, make sure it's dry... you get the picture. I ordered this at the same time I ordered the Puphead Dog Potty so that I could have a replacement while washing/ drying the grass. This fits size-wise, but the grass is thicker and sharper than the original. My dog was starting to use the dog potty, but then refused to even walk on it when I put this one on. Put a real snag on the training.

The only grass replacement I've been able to find that appears to not be an imitation "Pup Head". So far I've wasted $95 on other mats including "potty patch" that claim to be the original grass potty mat. They lie. Nasty plastic grass is what I got from the others. This company's grass mat is the closest to real grass AND actually fits the tray the way it's suppose to. From ordering to arriving was pretty quick & we are happy to have new mats that don't stink. We got 5 years out of the 2 original mats by washing and alternating every 2 weeks (for a 5lb pup) and sprinkling baking soda on the tray & bottom of mat--so purchasing 2 mats at once really helps so that one can completely dry in between washings. Also---don't try any of those enzyme cleaners out there---in an attempt to use the old mats longer I finally broke down to use an enzyme cleaner & even after rewashing with dish detergent (our regular wash soap) & multiple rinses we couldn't get the enzyme out & it irritated our pups feet so bad she began to chew her nails off! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is that the construction doesn't seem to be quite as sturdy as the 1st mats---but I won't really be able to tell until we wash multiple times. This is the best.

Just a short review here. Well made leash but do be aware that it is **heavy**. Have had numerous chain leashes in the past and the thin ones like this were not this heavy. So if you're getting it for a small dog or small pup who chews leashes, just beware that it's got some pretty good weight to it.

My only complaint is that the clip that hooks to the collar is very small, we use a harness that has two loops to attach the armholes together at the back, and this clip cannot fit them. We had to buy a small carabiner as an extension of sorts... but other than that this is a very high quality leash!

This is the perfect leash for your aggressive/nervous chewer.

I went through two leashes, one of which only lasted less than a week, and a harness before I got this leash. I knew I needed something stronger than the average nylon leashes and was trying to decide between metal and mountain climbing rope. The metal ones I had seen prior to finding this one was a cable and didn't look very space efficient. I had wanted a 6' leash, since I"m used to longer leashes, but figured, since my dog always walks right next to me, that it'd be fine, if not better, to use a shorter leash.

A nice unexpected outcome of this leash is that since it uses chains, it can fold up into a very small pile. Very efficient with space. My dog hasn't even thought of trying to chew it after he tried the first time. The chain itself is solidly build, and pretty nice looking.

Reason for 4 instead of 5 stars:

The handle is horribly made. It's a very, very cheap looking piece of nylon that isn't very comfortable to hold for long periods of time. I often find myself just holding the strap instead of using the loop.

And this isn't necessarily a con for the manufacturer, but more so a tradeoff with having a metal chain leash. Don't expect to loop the chain around your hand like you would a nylon, leather, or rope leash. The metal is very uncomfortable around your knuckles when an unexpected tug happens from your dog.

Cat Toilet Training System By Litter Kwitter - Teach Your Cat to Use the Toilet - With Instructional

This product would be 5 stars if I didn't think that it needs to have an ice cream tub, or some other pan in my toilet, McGiver-ing the thing so it works right. I researched how best to potty train my cats, and decided to try the litter kwitter, as it seemed the most sturdy. I, like other reviewers, felt that the step where the hole is first introduced was too big a step. Here are my tips that I think really help you to avoid any accidents, by creating steps that they don't tell you about that have worked for me.

After every time I made a change, either moving their cat box, or changing a ring, I waited a week at least before moving on to a new step. I originally started out by moving their cat box right up next to the toilet. I then put some phone books under it, so they had to step up to get in it. I then put their cat box on an ice chest with stuff inside to weight it down (in case they jumped into it) that made the entrance the same height as the toilet seat, so my cats would actually jump up on the seat to walk into their box (with the lid either up or down, they didn't seem to care). I then used the litter kwitter on the toilet, but did not initially take away their box, because I wanted them to learn that there were TWO places where they could do their business. These starting steps REALLY helped me, as I have a kitten whose brain hasn't quite caught up with the rest of her yet, and she isn't the fastest learner.

I was worried that she would fall through the hole once I changed to the amber ring, because she was so used to the toilet being a solid surface that she could stand on. I decided to improvise, and came up with a solution. I measured my toilet rim's interior diameter and bought a roasting pan (the aluminum ones you buy from your local grocery store.) I then drew a bunch of holes on the bottom of the pan. I decided that when I switched to the amber ring that I would place this underneath, so that if she fell in, she would not fall on the water. I also added some litter, so if she felt down there with her paw, she would realize that she could go to the bathroom in the hole, and not just on the rim, as she kept trying to do. There is nothing funnier than watching your cat play twister on your toilet trying desperately to make their poop land on that tiny ring with the litter on it.

The pan worked really well, but I realized that I could have done this from day 1, and not had to buy this system at all. I ended up just getting rid of the litter kwitter, and slowly cutting holes in the pan, starting with a very tiny hole at first. I slowly cut bigger and bigger holes, until the bottom was gone, and then I removed it completely. I really liked the pan idea, because I could have the toilet seat down. I figured that if they were going to be going with the seat down anyways, they might as well get used to balancing on it. The big con is that my older cat is a big 15 lb male cat, and when he would stand in the pan, and not on the rim, the pan would sink down, so it was more like a bowl than a pan. This was fine, as the pan's lip was big enough that as the pan warped from being bent, it did not fall in. I did use the green ring when this started happening, hoping it would help, but I ended up taking it away again because he likes to stand with his back paws INSIDE the toilet (not in the water, but still inside), even to this day. It also scratched the porcelain on the inside of my toilet rim, but I'm not too worried about it, as it's only a tiny scratch. I didn't have any problems with kitties going on the carpet, but I also took it REALLY slow.

The other plus about using the trays is that they are SUPER cheap, so you can buy two or three, just in case you need to go back a step, but have already cut the holes in it. I would recommend either going the cheap but flimsy way of using the roasting pan, or buying this, which is more expensive, but more sturdy, and adding something as an intermediary step. I have a friend who used a large plastic bowl (like a mixing bowl, or a popcorn bowl) which she filled with water, instead of cutting holes in it, which would be sturdier and wouldn't scratch your toilet. She slowly decreased the amount of litter in the pan (this teaches them not to dig in their litter, or they will get poop on their paws) and slowly replaced the litter with water. This helps if your cat is freaked out by the water in the toilet. That way they will learn not to stand in the hole, or they will get wet, and they will get used to hanging their butt over water. You then increase the amount of water in the bowl/pan, until the bowl/pan is full, then remove the bowl/pan. She trained her cat fast, because by the time she was done, he was already used to standing on the rim over a large bowl of water.

***Oh, and if you have a cat who has urinary or G.I. tract issues, you DO NOT want to toilet train it, as you probably need to monitor how often they relieve themselves.

P.S. I kept the empty litter box next to the toilet the whole time. My younger cat pooped in there once, but stopped when she realized I wasn't going to clean the box. I think this kept her from finding a nice courner of my apartment to go to the bathroom in.

Update: I bought a new handle for my toilet that is an automatic flusher. This senses the cats and flushes a few seconds after the cats move away from it, which worked great...for about a day! My younger cat apparently loves to watch the water flush down the toilet, so she would jump up and down between the floor and toilet in order to activate the motion sensor in the handle, making it flush repeatedly, and I had to take it out. Recently my older cat was diagnosed with a condition that makes him get crystals in his urine unless he's on a special (and expensive) medicated diet. As a result I had to bring out the old litter box again and keep the lid down on the toilet so he would start going in the box again. He now almost never goes in the toilet, but he will if I don't keep the litter box super clean. My younger kitten switches between the two, depending on her mood, so I guess that shows that cats really don't mind using the toilet.

This product is an absolute waste of money; I highly recommend that you look for other alternatives. I tell you this after trying to use it myself (two kittens) and giving it to my friend to use (four cats of various ages). No one had any luck with it. But keep reading, we DID find other systems to use.

The design and promotional videos all seem logical: just use this thing that puts a hole in the middle, and the cats will use that! Then make the hole bigger! In reality, there are a number of problems with the Litter Kwitter.

The first problem with the product is the first step: replace the cat's litter box with the Litter Kwitter on the floor. This shows the poor design of the product: cats are used to burying their mess, and the Litter Kwitter isn't deep enough for the poo to be buried. The first day I used this, there was cat poo all over the bathroom floor and walls, because the kittens could not figure out how to clean their mess. Further, my friend's cats were uncomfortable with the awkward ridge in the middle of the Litter Kwitter.

The other problems are similar: the whole premise is to put a giant hole in the middle of the litter box, which is completely unnatural for your kitten. Also, they sell a "multicat system" that has intermediate tray sizes, and many reviews I found online complained that these tray sizes are not included in the product. The bottom line: As shipped, the product goes from a too-shallow litter box where poo cannot be buried, to the same litter box with a giant hole in the middle, instead of intermediate hole sizes.

I searched for a number of systems and I found this one to be highly reviewed, but then I read a number of reviews where people compliment the system without having fully trained their cats. My gosh, just read some testimonials on the website for the product! They say things like "I'm soooo looking forward to the end of the litter box" and "It sounds like a great concept. I'll try anything" and "Congratulations on a great idea by the way, whether it works or not, I think it's a brilliant concept." These are ACTUAL COMMENTS that the site has posted as TESTIMONIAL! Clearly, these people don't even know if the system works yet, and I'm quite sure that it probably didn't. Let me tell you that this system is not logical.

After further research, I found another system that cost me about $4.00, and I trained my two four-month-old kittens within 4-5 weeks. The system is The Toilet Trained Cat (The Toilet Trained Cat), and frankly I didn't even buy it because I found it online (about 80% of it, which was enough) and its system makes more sense. The premise of The Toilet Trained Cat is that you use an aluminum foil roasting pan within the toilet, and put a small hole in it. Unlike Litter Kwitter, you put the hole in the corner, not the center. Gradually, you increase the hole size until the cat needs to balance on the toilet while going in the litter/water. Further, the idea of this system is that the cat will eventually "miss", which means they will go in the toilet. Litter Kwitter assumes that a cat is immediately willing to go in the water and not the litter. This is ridiculous.

I am in no way affiliated with The Toilet Trained Cat; I simply find that its system is more logical and much, much cheaper. My cats and my friend's cats are proof that Litter Kwitter has serious design issues. My cats are proof that The Toilet Trained Cat is a better system.

We were quite skeptical about the Litter Kwitter after buying a "CityKitty" a few months earlier which we threw out after a few weeks because there was no way of taking a step back after we physically cut out a larger hole in the plastic. It also was quite "wobbly" for the cat to stand on. Now I know why the Litter Kwitter costs twice the price...it's made of high-quality plastic (the same material as what hard-hats are made of according to the manufacturer) and it's 3 rings mean you can go back a step if needed.

Anyway, after asking the very patient folks at Cleverlad Pets 8 questions about the product, we finally decided to buy one and we are very impressed with our cat's progress in using it most of the time after a few weeks.

After getting him to use the tray on the floor for a couple of weeks with the red ring, we moved it up onto the toilet and then changed to the orange ring on week 3...I think we probably were a little too impatient with our expectations at that point, because went a couple of times on the floor next to the toilet bowl, and became ultra-fascinated by the hole where I think he could see his relfection in the water! At this point, we reverted back to the red tray for a few days until he was using it consistently again before changing back to the orange ring.

To cut a long story short, we're now onto the Green (go) ring and "Jeebus" is using it about 90% of the time after about 6 weeks of training.

We absolutely love not having to clean up a stinky litter tray anymore, or worrying about what germs Jeebus has on his paws from scratching through the litter.

After years of dealing with the dirty cat box, and Roo's bad habit of doing #2 on the floor if it wasn't cleaned to her satisfaction (and it never was), we're well on our way to her using the toilet! This system has the advantage of being very sturdy to hold up even large cats and being re-usable for future cats or if you move and need a refresher course. But nothing's perfect -be prepared for it to take time, maybe longer than they suggest. Each cat is different. Roo is stubborn and hates changes, so we've had to take it really SLOW! She's been in training now for 3-1/2 months. But once she got over her resistance to a hole in the 2nd potty pan, she quickly figured out that all the waste goes away with the flush, which very much appealed to her. She's on pan #3 now and hopefully will graduate to the toilet seat soon.

I have some advisements for anyone wanting to try it --

1Since you are supposed to start out with the system on the floor after switching it out with the old litter pan, you should use a litter liner over the whole thing and put the litter in that, especially if your cat pees around the edges of his/her litter box. It will leak on the floor if you don't, which is definitely no fun to clean up. The liner will prevent that. No problem once it's up on the toilet -any leaks go into the toilet then and a liner would defeat the purpose.

2Also, make a change to a scoopable, flushable litter at the outset, even before changing from the old litter pan. It'll make it easier. It's hard to get soiled litter out with a large litter scoop, esp. if it doesn't clump, partly due to the raised rings that train the cat where the next hole rim will be, etc. A narrower scoop would help if you can find one or jerry-rig something.

3Of the flushable litters on the market, I recommend Swheat Scoop brand, which is finely flaked wheat chaff, and very similar in texture to clay scoopable litter. It clumps, if a bit loosely, which the paper pellet flushables don't at all. Some cats don't like the lumpy texture of the paper pellets either. If the new stuff is close in texture to what they used before, it will help. (We had set-backs partly because I couldn't get the Swheat Scoop 'til we were already into the system several weeks.)

It takes patience, esp. with only one bathroom, but it's worth it. Lots of encouragement, and a little bribery, help, too. (Remember that cats are mercenary little creatures -kittens are easy when they're still young enough to care what you want. Grown ones usually don't give a damn.) Then no more smell, no more fuss, and the coolest cat on the block. Easier to do with kittens and easy-going cats. Older, stubborn, or particularly difficult ones (you know if you have one -Roo's 95% Siamese) may take longer. Don't be discouraged by that. Even tho' it's taking us 4 months (or more?) instead of 6-8 weeks as the product's makers indicate, the end result is still worth it!

I live in a loft with 2 cats and one toilet, so even the act of toilet training is messy. One cat is larger and older, but he has no problem with the toilet (in fact with a regular litter box he always perched on the edge to poo). The younger one however, is a digger. He will toss his litter all over the bathroom. Needless to say, he's not to happy with a litter-free system. He pees in the toilet, but continues to poo on the floor (its been about 3-4 months now).

I started with a cheap toilet seat screwed into a litter box with a jar in the center (so they couldn't stand in the box). This allowed me to skip the red ring and go right to orange. The problem, as everyone stated was that it DID NOT fit my standard toilet (I suppose by "standard" they mean Australian standard). I thought I got it until a cat jumped on it and it popped off--he wasn't happy. I had to remove the plastic pieces that are supposed to "secure" it. Now I put rubber grips on the underside and clamped the back corners to my toilet. This phase is already not worth the cost.

If your cat is a scooper be prepared for a serious mess! After filling orange with litter, he scooped all of the litter either on the floor or in the hole. Then he realized there was no litter for him to poo in and he got upset and went on the floor...this still continues months later. They seemed to get a hang of orange (minus the poo on the floor) so I switched to green and the jump is WAY too much. They want you to pay an extra $15 for the in between rings--it should come with it for $60!!

Luckily the older cat has pretty much been ready for complete removal. But my little guy is not having it. The bottom line is if your cat likes it, it'll work. This system completely depends on your cat.

For a cheaper option, I recommend buying those big turkey roasting pans and cutting holes in them as your cat progresses. They're cheap, disposable and actually fit your toilet (tho you may need to secure it from shifting)!

I live on a corner lot with a 26 foot wrought iron gate that goes across my driveway. I remarried on 1/2/12 and inherited 2 miniture Australian Sheperds (brothers who are 5 years old). In total...Tristan had to be shocked 4 times....and Teddy only 2. Today, neither one of my dogs bark at anything outside! I have removed the training collars and they are back to wearing their TAGG GPS collars. Barking problem solved! I am a very technical person and the manual/instructions are pretty cryptic...but once I completely figured out how the controller works...it is really simple to operate. I never tried another product...but this one worked perfectly for me.

It has 9 shock levels but I gess no.1 is just perfect to train. It causes a dramatic reaction in your pet so you wont need more power.

I broke the first one ordered and received a replacement order. One of the receivers blew out after a week and would not work after that. These may work on smaller dogs but after the initial few attempts, my pit bull was not bothered by it. As a matter of fact, he would sit there and look at me after the beep, as if to say bring it on and hardly flinched when it was turned up full strength.

Let me tell you from the start the problems with this collar; When you press the shock button it actually takes three seconds before the collar responds giving the dog time to correct themselves before the shock hits resulting in confusion on the dogs part. Yes, the dog gets shocked when they're doing the right thing, responding to your calls to come! Also, the transponder (the hand held part) shuts off after 60 seconds so when the dogs not responding to your calls you have to repower it up and wait for it to connect to the collar before you can use it to correct the dog in which there is a lost opportunity for correction. This results in the dog getting a correction shock only part of the time when it's needed; again confusing the dog!

This is a HORRIBLE training collar and I highly advise you to avoid it.

I have a German Shepherd who is prone to ear infections. I use these wipes when she starts scratching her ears, and they really get a lot of gunk out! After I clean her ears she stops scratching and she has not gotten any infections. I have seen other wipes for much more money. There is really nothing wrong with these ear wipes and I am sure they work great on medium or large dogs (I wished I had bought them for our previous adult Lhasa who was prone to drainage due to allergies). I tried using them on my little pup and I think she is still too young to notice a benefit so I will keep them to use a few months from now. Right now it is easier for me to use the 8 x 10 Quick Wipes starting from the head/ear area on down her entire body for a refreshing clean-up.

Bought this because the shorter days means we often get out at night, plus at the cottage there is no lights on the yard and we couldn't see where our dog was.

Unfortunately, the light is VERY uneven, it's bright at the "source" and gets very dim afterwards; the last seciton is not even lit at all. There is a large area that has no light (clip + battery/button), if there were spaced apart it would've been better to have two small parts without light instead of one large area.

Also, the collar is very wide for the size. Our dog has a small collar but the width would be fine for a much large dog. I guess all sizes have the same width.

In the end, we'll try another option with multiple lEDs, at least the output will be consistent. We are very disappointed with the product.

This collar came well packed. The collar is bright and looks strong enough to last. I gave it Three stars because my dog wears a small collar from a pet store. I purchased a small size for both my dogs. when it came they were very big. I could wrap the collar around my shitzu almost twice. The neck size that came was a 15 inch. That's not a small size. My dog is a 10 inch. So if you have a small dog who is smaller than a 15 inch do not buy these collars as they are not true to their size.
