Steel Coated Dog Collar in Red

classy looking on my grey-brindle cain corso, doesn't pinch. My dog pulls very hard sometimes, weighing in at 115 pounds this can be very hard on a collar no problems with this one.

Be warned this is a huge think heavy chain. I ordered the 20" 4mm one which is really still too short for my German Shepherd (I had a 22' chain before) But the chain links are so big and heavy that you need a 150 lb Rottweiler to use this chain. Waste of money.

I initially ordered this one size smaller and the quality was great. Reordered 1 size larger and a total of 5 of this type in different sizes and colors. Paint quality was not great. On 3 of them the paint must not have dried before they put it in the plastic hangers, as those three had very sharp paint edges sticking up. The colors are all beautiful (I ordered electric blue, candy apple red, bubble gum pink, purple, and lime green.) What a shame there isn't better quality control on this product. Incidently, as the length goes up; the the links are larger and much heavier. The 20 inch collar I bought is actually quite heavy a little too heavy, I think, for the gentler breeds.

KONG Premium Treats Sweet Potato Vegan Treats

This is advertised as being a vegan dog treat product, but it is definitely not vegan. Its Amazon title even has the word, "vegan" in it: "KONG Premium Treats Sweet Potato Vegan Treats". I ordered one of these, and gelatin is in the ingredient list. Gelatin is not vegan.

The product does not contain any animal "by-products" (rendered meat) and even says so on the package. I think that's what confused the person who labeled it "vegan".

Ingredients: Sweet Potatoes, Barley Flour, Brown Rice Flour, Maple Syrup, Vegetable Glycerine, GELATIN [my emphasis], Natural Flavor, Salt, Carrots, Peas, Phosphoric Acid, Sorbic Acid, Citric Acid, Natural Smoke Flavor, Mixed Tocopherols, Rosemary.

And if I were nitpicking, I'd say the Natural Flavor and Natural Smoke Flavor could also be non-vegan. I can't say for sure.

The use of acids in this is also a little weird. I don't usually see three used. And phosphoric acid isn't typically in dog treats, I don't think. It's just odd.

I also think it's odd that they used maple syrup, since it tends to cost a lot more than fructose syrup. I guess they suspect people avoid fructose syrup or HFCS. But maple syrup is just another sweetener, probably just as "bad" as HFCS.

Other info: "Crude protein: no less than 6.0%. Crude fat: no less than 1.0%. Crude fiber: no more than 4.0%. Moisture: no more than 28.0%."

Anyway, just wanted to chime in to mention that it's not vegan like the title says.

I e-mailed the company to clarify the source of the "gelatin" in this product. They responded that they use agar, or vegetable gelatin. In my opinion, they should make this clear on the packaging. I do think it is misleading to list gelatin, instead of agar, or vegetable gelatin.

Otherwise, my dogs like these treats and they are easy to cut into small pieces for training. Worked well for training my dog to walk on the leash without pulling!

These are a good size for smaller dogs and our dogs love them. They have a really strong meaty smell that the dogs are really attracted to. We usually break these in half and give a half to each dog and they are very happy with that. Our dogs weigh about 25 pounds and it is sometimes hard to find smaller treats that they really love. These are great.

Given the low cost this is more than acceptable. I've used it for a few weeks and dogs have run through it a lot. So far no problem and I don't anticipate any. I don't like the ties because so far I've tripped over them several times already. I will probably use sandbags instead. I've bent it to 45 and 90 degrees and it has worked fine. I would have liked to be able to have different lengths for training (this pops open to its full length). But for simple training and ease of use, this is just fine.

Since I couldn't afford a stronger tunnel this one works pretty well for practicing. The only problem is they should have included more stakes for the ground because it is hard to get it to stay in a curve.

I needed a gate that would block my 10lb yorkie and 4lb bichon frise from going to the carpeted areas of the house while we are away, just in case (moved to a new house with new carpet and didn't want to take any chances!). I needed a gate that would fit a 7ft opening. I was quite surprised when I came across this item after looking at several other gates. This is the only one I found that didn't need an extra 'extention' piece purchased. This gate was 1/3 the cost of all other gates as well. I figured I'd give it a try!

Pros certainly serves its purpose, GREAT value, easy to assemble, and not bad looking. It's a simple design, no thrills or frills; but isn't an eye-sore either! (I thought about painting or staining in the future!). Gate is easy to de-latch and put away when not needed.

Cons assembles with eye hooks that stick out from the wall about 1-2". I can see where this would be harmful if one were to brush up against if gate was down and put up. We haven't had any issues, but our doorway is large enough not to walk right next to the wall. This may be harmful for little ones that roam the house.

All in all, I wasn't expecting much for the price, and thought this would be a temporary thing until I could afford a better gate... however, I have concluded this is all I need and am very pleased... this exceeded all my expectations.

I wrote the help desk at amazon because this item was supposed to reach 96 inches. with the panel fully open it was maybe the 53 inches. Amazon wrote back they had no info to give me, contact the manufacturer. Ok, sure, I will contact the manufacturer BUT as I was searching to find a way to "contact seller", I looked closer at the picture and it is showing 2 of the panels. I only got one in the box. I like the product, just feel shorted by amazon not being there to help me out here.

We have a 2-year-old daughter and a 75lb. Basset Hound who likes to eat toys :-) We purchased this gate for the large opening from the dining room to her playroom to keep the baby in and the dog(s) out. It works wonderfully! I really wish that the seller would have posted the width between each slat. I was a little concerned about getting this gate because we are using it for our tiny 2 pound morkie puppy. After getting it all installed, she found out that she could squeeze through the slats, making the gate useless. We went to the store and bought some fabric to weave through the slats to prevent her from escaping but it's still not perfect. If I had to do it over, I would have purchased another gate.

So, fair warning if you have a tiny puppy. They can and will escape through the slats!

I am really focused on training my new dog and this treat bag makes it easy. I take it on all my dog walks and outings. I use the flap compartment in the front for bio-bags, the zippered pocket in the back for my driver's license, and the roomy treat compartment snaps open and shut with ease. There is a key ring on the side where I keep a clicker. The waist belt gives my hands freedom. This bag has been through a few rain storm hikes and the treats have stayed dry. The plastic clip broke this week, after 4 months of use. I guess I'm okay with that, as I've now found I like the belt feature better. The directions for this Premier treat pouch instruct the user to occasionally oil the hinges, which I need to do. The hinges to close the pouch worked smoothly until some rain got on the hinges.... now they're creaky and stiff. So, gotta oil those!

These wear out.

All treat bags wear out. If you use them day-in and day-out, you need to plan to replace your working bag every 4-6 months.

This is my experience, based on 10 years of serious training with Border Collies, at least two hours a day.

If you want the hinges to last longer, put vaseline, or a little vegetable oil, on them once a week--this keeps the bag opening and closing smoothly and helps the hinges last.

But you will still need to buy a new one every six months or so.

See the reviews under the green bag. After three months of use once a day, one of the hinge pins came out so the bag could not shut tight, its main design feature. I found the pin and replaced it and two weeks later the hinge, itself, broke making the closing feature inoperable. The other reviewer at the green bag site had two bags that had their hinges break.

I am training my own service dog so I use my bag daily. Unfortunately, the hinges break on every one! The first hinge broke within 3 weeks of purchasing, so it was replaced at no charge. Then I ended up going through more than 6 bags in as many months because the hinges continue to break. (Granted, I don't have to pay for the replacements, but now I'm fed up with it!) So I am online hunting for a new brand. Premier's bags have very cheap hinges and it is totally not worth your time & money to invest in them! These totally stink. Do you see the photo of the product? Does it look like a jumble of straps to you? It does me too and trying to figure out how it works makes me want to scream. We have an 80 lb. dog and it fits like a loose cheap suit. I made the mistake of buying a cheaper product, and it broke with normal wear and tear. I'm so glad it was never put to the real test of an accident. So, I was pleased that this product has no fasteners to break, just very high quality nylon(?). Also, I followed the measurements, but the first one I ordered ended up fitting too snugly (making getting it on/off impossible). Unless your dog is in the lower range for the chest area, size up. You will appreciate being able to slip it on and off and you can tighten the fit up with a couple of adjustment straps.

I have to give 5 stars for the QUALITY of the product. However, I think the manufacturer does a very poor job with guidance on sizing. My female Ridgeback (built a little masculine) measured perfectly into the middle of the Medium2 range. However, she would have had to be quite the contortionist to make it in and out of it regularly. I had to order a large to actually humanely use it. Can't comment on service for returns, as I was not willing to pay return shipping on an item that I ordered exactly to spec. I will sell it to one of my friends.

I think this would be a wonderful harness, but I have been unable to fit it to my dog. The range of measurements given does not correspond to what fits. My dog was on the lower range of chest measurement for the size I purchased, but I couldn't even get it on her because it was too small. I figured it was just a goof-up, but the replacement was just the same, and I conformed that I was getting the right size. Very frustrating, as I know the product design is terrific as far as its safety features are concerned.

I measured my dog exactly as the video indicated (on the actual ruffrider website). When it actually came in the mail, the Medium 1 harness barely fit my dog. There's no remote the picture is wrong. You turn it on/off and adjust the setting by touching a magnet to the side. There's one on the collar, but you have to take it off to do that. There's also one for your keychain. Red LED blinks to say it's on. Fast means time to recharge.

The adjustable setting is great. 0-9. 0 you can't even feel. 3 tingles a bit. 4 surprises you... that's where I stopped :) I'm using 4 and so far it helps. The sensor doesn't go off on little noises but it gets her when she starts to get loud. And it's a small dog (8lbs).

I haven't noticed this go off undeservedly yet. The collar is very adjustable. I can't think of a dog it wouldn't fit. I just cut the slack.

This seems to work good if it would stay put and keep a charge..I own 2 others 1 is the Spray Sensor and the other the Shock Collar. My only complaint is it won't stay put!! And the charge is not as long as I was hoping for. My dog isn't stupid and she is the type of barker that once she gets going she is addicted to barking which drives us crazy!! The Spray Collar I got she figured out that if she kept barking it would go empty and my other Shock Collar would shock no matter what so she learned to put up with it so of course I didn't want her to be shocked for no reason at all. This one here I had to set to 8 and yes it worked immediately but it will not stay on her where it is suppose too so am still trying to get it to stay put and I can't make it any tighter or she can't breath (she is a 58 pound dog)..for the price I am actually disappointed but I am not giving up yet..will put the longer prongs on once the charge is up again and that is the other complaint it takes 14 hours before another charge to be complete. Okay if she has to wear the dang thing to learn to not bark why doesn't the charge last. UGH!! so now I will have to start all over again. She doesn't wear it 24 hours a day she mainly has to have it on for several hours in the afternoon but at night from 7 to 6 in the morning is when she needs it and now the battery is dead. Will try again tonight I guess otherwise will return it and give up...lol..To be Continued!! To anyone who is wondering YES I have worked with her for 5 years with all kinds of training guess she likes her voice and she is actually a well behaved young lady except for her barking!! Bark bark BARK bark that is her pattern and then she starts pacing. She hates dog runs (she tore one completely up..:-/) only likes her chain (for her safety)but she isn't on it all the time only when I have to be inside. She isn't a house dog we live in the country.
