classy looking on my grey-brindle cain corso, doesn't pinch. My dog pulls very hard sometimes, weighing in at 115 pounds this can be very hard on a collar no problems with this one.

Be warned this is a huge think heavy chain. I ordered the 20" 4mm one which is really still too short for my German Shepherd (I had a 22' chain before) But the chain links are so big and heavy that you need a 150 lb Rottweiler to use this chain. Waste of money.

I initially ordered this one size smaller and the quality was great. Reordered 1 size larger and a total of 5 of this type in different sizes and colors. Paint quality was not great. On 3 of them the paint must not have dried before they put it in the plastic hangers, as those three had very sharp paint edges sticking up. The colors are all beautiful (I ordered electric blue, candy apple red, bubble gum pink, purple, and lime green.) What a shame there isn't better quality control on this product. Incidently, as the length goes up; the the links are larger and much heavier. The 20 inch collar I bought is actually quite heavy a little too heavy, I think, for the gentler breeds.

We own two Weimaraners emphasis on the "wine". My husband and I had not gotten a good night sleep in two years. They howl and yelp all night unless they are sleeping on our bed which wasn't an option. Our neighbors could hear it too and now they hate us. I was skeptical of barking collars because I spent $150 on one several years ago at Pestsmart for our lab that wasn't worth beans.

Since this one was under $10 I decided said why not and gave it a try. We are now sleeping like babies.

I haven't had problems with it going off for no reason. In fact if they wine softly enough the collar won't react, it has to be a significant bark/yelp. It beeps every time they receive a shock and I can hear the beep from the garage wile watching TV in my living room, so I know its working fine. However, I think I would only put this on medium to large dogs.

They have been less vocal during the day when they aren't wearing the collars and that's a real plus too.

Update***The batteries run out quick, but that's something I have heard about other barking collars too. So stock up on batteries!

I read a lot of reviews on a lot of products before buying this one. It seemed to have the best rating. I did agree with a lot of other comments though. i have a 14 pound miniature daschund and the box is quite bulky for him. I did like that it seemed to have worked after 2 episodes. what I didn't like were the episodes. The first one I got bit. the tone was set off several times by either his tags hitting the box or me talking. The shock setting are low and high, which doesn't say a lot. the first time he ignored the tones and got shocked he was very upset and I ended up getting bit trying to get the collar off. the shock didn't seem to stop until i took the collar off. The 2nd time he ignored the tone it shocked him, stopped, then continued to tone and shock based on his cries and my other dog being upset and barking at him. On the bright side, it seems to have worked, but I was not happy to see the effect. Also like other reports, the battery does not last long at all, 2 weeks and it is dead, but showing him the collar if he barks seems to stop him.

I read the reviews on this item. Most of the complaints were due to the battery going dead. The battery is very easy and cheap to replace. It is a bit over sensitive and I had to put it on low, it still beeped allot and I had to remove it due to the fact it was zapping my dog even when he wan't barking. The 2 short periods of time my dog did wear the collar worked so well that I may never have to use the collar again. He has been perfectly quite. Something scolding him never did. Im very glad I bought the collar. I would however not recommend leaving it on for long periods of time since it is sensitive and may over shock your dog.

we purchased this dog collar, for the obvious reason, put it on our dog at night, and there was no sound that came from her at all. the next morning being a saturday we thought it weird she didn't even try to bark to tell us to come feed her etc.. here it was 9 o clock the next day and we go out there she is just wimpering tears all over her face she is just cowering afraid to move and we hear the beeping and the shock sounds just shocking her constantly!! it turns out that if you blow on it ( the wind, which is always outside) the wind activates the shock as if she were barking. Our dog was tortured for a full 12 hours tortured for no reason of course she didn't try to bark she didn't understand what the hell was going on . I was so distraught and angry, and am actually writing my firt review, just to keep other poor doggies from the same misfortune. Yeah, I only paid 7$ so it's not even worth the hassle of returning. but this is a terrible product. spend more money to get something that actually works the way you want it to.

I give them to my dogs when I expect them to be under stress, such as vet's visits. The dogs like the the chews and while the chews keep the dogs calm, they don't knock them out...unless the dogs were going to nap anyway.

My dog started out eating them no problem, then he soon got tired of them. It was harder for me to get him to eat them. I am not sure they helped since I gave them to him just before I sent him to daycare. I bought another kind also and he liked them much better. If your dog is picky he may not like these. My dog is picky.

We have an adopted cockapoo who gets very anxious at simple situations-when we're leaving, if his routine is thrown off, anything. PETCO Dog Training Clicker

When I found this product I was ecstatic over its cheap price. However, when it arrived, I clicked it about five times and it broke! Now it clicks only sporadically, which, needless to say, is completely useless for clicker training. I ended up buying clickers from Karen Pryor's website. They cost a dollar each, but operate with a button mechanism, which I like a lot better. So far so good with the new clickers.

Missus Olde Hippie, (MOH), was 46 back in 1995 when multiple sclerosis put her in a wheel chair. 1n 2000, she got a Golden pup, as a pet, wondering about the possiblities. By the time he was 2, Rufus was beginning to anticipate her needs, sensing her body language, pressing his body against her hand, saying, "grab hold, I'll help you stand", and so much more. It was training time. I searched and found a simple figure of 8 halter, a padded strap that looped around his neck and his torso. And I picked up a cheap clicker at Petco. He caught on by the third click, and as her MS became Parkinson's Disease, her needs increased rapidly; and Rufus was always ahead of us, asking, how should I handle this new problem, and this new problem. Rufus died on her birthday, 2 years ago; he's in a Pet Semetary, a converted raised bed garden in the back yard. Pushing up the dozens of daisies I planted for him. By this time, the P.D. had confined MOH to a hospital bed in our living room, P.D. meds quit working after several years, so I needed another dog to help me help her. Long story short: The dog rescue network found 2 year old Mister Darcy, Great Pyrenees Mountain Dog, in a shelter in Georgia, and dozens of strangers chipped in to deliver him, 1000 miles away, to his 4th home. An unwanted shelter dog, he was at MOH's bedside 20 minutes after entering our home and he hasn't left MOH since. She is the herd that he was born to watch over, a million years of DNA told him just what to do. And the clicker? He figured that out by day's end. She wears it on a wrist band, and even when he's out back relieving himself, he hears that loud, simply constructed, Petco clicker and comes running. The design reminds me of a child's toy from another age. It's 10 years old now, but still sounds off loud and clear. We've tried the slick, submarine shaped versions, their sound varies from soft to medium, no two are alike, even from the same six pack. I'm thrilled to discover I can replace it, happy to pay the shipping, which is cheaper than the gas required to drive the 60 miles to Petco. Karen Pryor's contributions are beyond words, but she hasn't put her name on a clicker yet that matches the performance and durability of this old relic. MOH now has leukemia, she'll only need a clicker for another year or two, so whatever I order today oughta last her.

Do go to the store to buy this product though. There is a lot of variation in the positive feel of the click and the volume of the sound. I've used a bunch of button clickers and they all are quieter and the spring on the button wears faster than the clicking sheet. don't over complicate this choice, get on of these simple box clickers, they just work the best. love my petco brand one because I got to go into the store and pick the snappiest one. Really loud positive click!

I ordered this video about 18 years ago when I got a Rat Terrier. This video helped me train him in less than two weeks. He was off lead after the first two weeks of training and stayed off lead for his entire 18 years!!! I do think I had an amazing dog but I also think that David's video made my dog even more amazing!!! I started them early (put the pan in there as soon as they were walking) and the pups learned quickly to use the pan to do their business, making the whelping area a whole lot nicer to come home to. Personally I don't get it. I'm not a dog owner but have several friends who are. The price would keep me away if it weren't for the feedback from them. My dog has a system that can't handle the junk that's in a lot of products and is unfortunately stuck into most treats. These are great. I have a German Shepherd and he's pretty rough on bones, this one lasts him a while and he doesn't get sick or have any reactions to them. He takes them out in less than 10 minutes but that's pretty good considering his track record and he just loves them, so definitely a good buy. I haven't noticed the apple ones giving him funny colored poop but the berry ones definitely do, keep that in mind if you notice something off when he's doing his business.

This collar did its purpose teaching our dogs not to yank and pull. The dogs figured out quickly how it works and hated it so much that putting it on became an ordeal. They rather went hiding instead of walking to avoid this collar. Eventually they stopped the leash yanking even with the normal collar.

We only used these for about a week or so, shouldn't have bought two of them. It probably took more time for me to figure out how to adjust and use it than for the dogs...

I used this to teach my dog to tell me when he needed to go out so that he wouldn't learn to bark instead. I didn't want my dog to scratch on the door or bark to tell me he wanted to go out, so I started early with him to touch the bell with his nose to indicate he wanted to go out. I have one at the back door, one at the top of the stairs, and one on my desk at work (he is a service dog). I trained him to "touch" to indicate he needs to go. Since he already had a schedule to go out at 11, 2, 5, 8, and 10pm, I jsut made him touch it at those times that I was going to take him anyway. He got used to touching before the door would open. Now, if he needs to go and it isn't a regularly scheduled time, he will touch the bell. I hear the sound, and I will let him out (as will my family members). I did this with my prior dogs too, but the bell I had before was a heavy sleigh bell which was just too big for a papillon. This is light enough for any sized dog to use.

this product is well made. it actually looks good hanging on the door. i've had it for several months now and neither of my dogs ring the bell. one did it once but it was more out curiousity then anything else. now when i ring the bell, they come running. they know it means i'm letting them outside. i took care of a puppy for 5 months and tried training him as well. he never rang it either; but he too, knows when i ring the bell it's time to go outside. i will admit that once we used the bell for about a week, he would not go in the house and as soon as i rang the bell, to the door he ran.

This product actually works. I was worried that my new puppy, an Australian Cattle Dog, would have accidents because she doesn't make noises at the door like my Basset Hound does. However on the first try, she realized if she touched the bells, she could go outside and potty. The only reason I don't "love" it is because it jingles every time I open the door too. :)

We ordered this to help housebreak our 2 month old puppy, and he learned quickly and was accident-free in 2 weeks. I didn't know if it would work, but tried it out on my very rambunctious 7 month old Australian Shepherd and it works. I was worried that, if I could get her to ring the bells, that she would pull it all to pieces, but she hasn't done that. Not sure what would happen to it if she had claw, bite, or pull at the bells. Easy Walk Harness - Small/Medium, Red

I have a Border Collie pup that doesn't know her own strength. Before this harness, she would constantly pull on the leash, even when corrected. Nothing seemed to help, so I was skeptical when I read about the psychology with 'pulling' against pressure on the back vs. pressure on the front of the chest. As soon as we walked with this harness, it was like walking a completly different dog. She stays by my side now, and if she does go too far ahead, she's able to correct herself and fall back into pace. Now, instead of grappling with her, I'm able to walk both of my dogs without any issues. Best, most humane, teaching harness...hands down!

I have a 4 1/2 y.o. beagle mix and the beagle really shows as she packs a lot of energy and strength into her little 20# body. She has an agenda that's quite difficult to alter. I've tried the Gentle Lead that fits around the muzzle and neck but she wasn't having any of that. With her old harness she would lower her body to the ground and pull like a sled dog thus choking herself in the process. I was afraid that she would eventually injure her trachea. First time out with the Gentle Leader Harness was nothing short of amazing! She was hesitate at first but over the past month has become rather accustom to it. Sure wish I'd known about this product long ago. It came highly recommended by a coworker and I give it a gold star!

The easy walk harness is great. We have tried the Gentle Leader Harness on our beagles, but they just did not care for it. They would cry and scratch at it constantly and after a few weeks of not getting better we stopped using it. I was hesitant to try anything else and waste money, but this product is worth it. I purchased this item for my dog a few days ago. When upon first purchasing the harness, the seller said there was free shipping, however upon completing my order, they added a $4.99 shipping charge! When I received my package I was so excited to try it out with my dog! I had measured him correctly before ordering and used the sizing chart that was on the seller's profile to get an accurate fit. However, when I put it on my dog, it was way too large. I e-mailed the seller in regards to exchanging the harness for a smaller size.
