This collar did its purpose teaching our dogs not to yank and pull. The dogs figured out quickly how it works and hated it so much that putting it on became an ordeal. They rather went hiding instead of walking to avoid this collar. Eventually they stopped the leash yanking even with the normal collar.We only used these for about a week or so, shouldn't have bought two of them. It probably took more time for me to figure out how to adjust and use it than for the dogs...
