I really liked this harness but when I bought it, it was a little large and the dog did not like it and would run away whenever I brought it out. She's now older and it fits perfectly. She still doesn't like it but I do because it gives me total control over my muscle bound pit bull without choking her. The quality is 2nd to none.

I got this hardness for my dog to pull me on my skateboard and its the cheese.

My dog has no problem snarfing them down, but I couldn't find the ingredient list before ordering them. After reading the container I'm not ordering more as sugar (Corn Syrup) is the second ingredient...and if it is labelled like "people food" the ingredients are in weight order, i.e. highest weight ingredients first. For me, it's great being able to buy natural treats for my dog that also taste great. My dog loves these (and I like them, too). I've made dog biscuits before, but it's convenient to be able to pick some up at the store. I've tried a number of natural biscuits, some good, some horrible. These are great. I've never bought them in bulk from Amazon, but the biscuits are inside of a sealed plastic bag within the box, so I'd guess that they would stay fresh for a while.

I like to give my dog healthy treats. I tried a box of these low fat treets from Wal-Mart and my dog loved them. I kept going back to get more. Then all of a sudden they don't have anymore on the shelves. I thought I would try to find them on the internet and was happy that I found them but not as happy as my dog. He is a black lab and has a weight problem and weighs about 127 pounds.

My cocker spaniel 'leaks'. When people come to the door, when she's nervous, when she's happy: she leaks. Just a little leak. This wasn't a big issue until we moved to a new place with carpets. The Pooch Pants take care of little leaks and big leaks. As when we came back from the beach with a completely exhausted pooch, we discovered that she sleeps just like a baby: midnight potty leak included. She wears her Pooch Pants at night when we know she's too tired. It's also good for potty training since dogs don't like to pee on themselves. I bought 2 of these, size Medium for my Am. Cocker Spaniel when she was in heat. She weighs about 21 lbs with about a 17-inch waist. These may be better at being potty diapers than for what my girl needed, but this was her first heat; So I don't know if next time she will need more absorbency like this product provides. I have since found some great "panties" by Simple Solutions that are thinner and designed to fit much better. The Pooch Pad brand here was bulky and a little baggy, and my dog pulled them off several times. However, I can't imagine the medium still fitting a 35 lb dog or a 25-inch waist. Maybe I'm wrong, and I guess it does depend on the breed/shape of the dog some. The BIG problem with this Pooch brand is that the tail hole is huge, and well, her poor little "girl part" kept getting out of the hole. So, there's some leakage issues with that! When pulled up and straps tightened this takes care of the issue mostly but it's a pain. Two other brands I've found since have a great section of shirred elastic at the belly which (with the usual velcro-like straps) helps provide a much better fit. This would be a terrific upgrade for this product.

I own a dachshund who started experiencing incontinence after recovering from a back injury, and I bought PoochPants as an alternative to A. ruining my carpets and/or B. losing one of my babies. The diaper fits very well with an elastic waist and velcro flaps. My dog, Schnitzel, was a little dejected when I first put the diaper on her, but she got over it within 10 minutes.

PoochPants have a great capacity for absorption, as Schnitzel would completely release her bladder into them and nothing would leak out. I do recommend getting at least 2 diapers, though, if your dog does more than little dribbles here and there. One bladder's worth will tend to make the diaper sag, and that's where the spillovers can occur. PoochPants also keeps their promise in regards to odor control and durability. Even fully loaded, the diaper would absorb the scent of urine, and they surived many washing-machine cycles.

I'm grateful Schnitzel no longer needs her diapers, but if there's ever a time when she needs them, she'll definitely be getting PoochPants again.

David Dikeman's Command Performance Dog Training System (20th Anniversary Edition DVD)

I ordered this video about 18 years ago when I got a Rat Terrier. This video helped me train him in less than two weeks. He was off lead after the first two weeks of training and stayed off lead for his entire 18 years!!! I do think I had an amazing dog but I also think that David's video made my dog even more amazing!!! I recently had the chance to get a Cavalier King Charles and when I received word that she would be arriving soon I ordered this DVD. I do wish it was updated (the eighties clothing and hair can be distracting) But..and this is important!!! This DVD works!!! In the first 20 minutes working with the dog you get results!!! So if you think the Dog Whisperer is great or you've seen other dog handlers on TV then you need to check out Command Performance. David Dikeman was in this way before the others. He is the man for the job if your dog is more than a handful or just a little inattentive. David has the answers....I just wish he had a show offered to him...or a chance to cut a new DVD.

My husband, Alan, and I have used these techniques for our Vizslas through what is now, decades. I ordered these to help in the training of my two dogs. They are great because they are small and they dissolve shortly after the dogs get them in their mouths. No waiting for them to chew during training. They were exactly what I wanted, and ordered, and were shipped out right away. I had them within a few days of placing the order. Until recently I was purchasing these snacks at my local Pet Supermarket. They no longer carry them so I went to Amazon.com. The reason they are perfect for my two dogs ( a Lab and a Chow mix) is not the size obviously but because I have a dog toy that is one of those toys that you pull out the center and fill the different layers inside with treats. After putting the center piece back in you shake it around and the dog has to learn to push it with his nose or paws to get the treats to lay just right to fall out. Well my Lab learned in one day and just loves this toy. The ONLY treats that I have found that fit are this brand and he loves all the flavors but especially the cheese flavor and the yogurt brand. There are quite a lot in one bag and reasonably priced. Yes, I will buy more!

We use these for training and treating our dogs. There are really small so perfect for repeating training commands. Our dogs are Yorkie-poodle mixes so one is 4lbs and the other is 6.5lbs.

I was looking for the perfect crate for my pup and found this one. First off I loved that it was not just a boring wire crate. I wanted something with a little color to match the decor of my home. I travel a lot with my pup and need a crate that was not bulky and heavy to move. The crate is very easy to use and requires no tools...bonus for me! This one actually folds into it own frame to become a fraction of the actual size and has a handle with wheels which has made it very easy for me to move the crate even around my house. I also liked the feature that the actual frame of the crate comes out and becomes a barrier/gate. I use this feature quite often and the barrier encompasses a large area 75 inches wide. This crate has been a perfect fit for me and Oscar (my pup). I have had it for just a little over four months. I use it daily in my house. We have taken it on road trip and even crated Oscar on a flight with it as well. It is airline approved. This crate does not come with a crate pad which all the crates I researched also do not. I went to my local pet store and bought a nice plush brown crate pad to match. This crate has been nothing but reliable and puts those ugly wire bulk crates to shame. I don't know whether they just used one mold for all the different lengths but physically this flexi, for a 16ft length, is like a small space shuttle in your hand. If you want to be able to walk the dog and take out a mugger, this flexi is for you. Also, why have a black and orange case and then a bright blue leader? Odd color combos blue is much brighter in person than in picture. Poor overall concept design in building an unnecessarily bulky flexi.

RC Pet Products 1-1/2-Inch All Webbing Martingale Dog Collar, Medium, Nirvana

This collar is excellent quality and pretty. My dog's neck is sort of long and her head is smallish (Scottish Terrier). When walked on a leash, she can back out of a regular collar too easily, so I've always put a harness on her, which she seems to dislike for no apparent reason. Mostly it has been just a hassle to have to get out before walks. But I recently learned about martingale style collars that tighten when the dog pulls, which seems to work really well. No more need for the harness! I still worried about the pressure on her neck, so was wanting a wide collar to distribute the pressure more; this one is a great width! I wasn't sure what the printed part was made of from the photo, so am happy to find and report that it is a nice ribbon fabric with the pattern woven in. The ribbon will get dirty so the collar will need to be washed occasionally, which means I should buy another one. :) There are more great colors (though I don't think the others can beat this pretty purple.) Made in Canada, which is such a lovely relief from seeing the usual made in you-know-where.

this is a great collar especially for the money. i'd pay a lot more for a nice sturdy martingale like this one and the colors are super cute!

Our dog is a golden doodle and has longer hair. A regular clip on collar that we left on all the time was rubbing her hair on her neck shorter. This easy on easy off collar is perfect for taking her outside quickly and is not rubbing on her neck. (But we do not leave it on all the time.)

We also took her on a walk using it and she did really well!!

I like the collar itself however I'm not sure it helps to train her on walks. It is good quality, nicely made, soft and doesn't seem bothersome on our dog. It's not a collar you can leave on and is for training purposes, but I have yet to see the effectiveness.

Petmate Home-Training Wire Dog Kennel

I bought one of these a year ago and liked it very much. However when I started looking for another 1.5 years later they were nowhere to be found. Luckily I found one on Amazon.com and although it is not as much of a "deluxe" model as the one I have, it is a good crate. It is easy to fold up and store in a closet or take on trips and is well made. The only negative is the plastic pan which has cracked on my previous PetsMate Crate (only 1.5 years old) and I can't find a replacement pan to fit it. Other than that I would buy it again.

We had 2 retriever mix dogs who were tipping the scales at 70 pounds each. We had Midwest Metals Life Stages Double Door Dog Crate 42 X 28 X 31 for those dogs and were very satisfied with the quality.

When we rescued a third, we needed to get another crate but the Midwest wasn't available so we opted for this crate. At the time, our rescue, despite being "full-grown" was only about 45 pounds and yet, he was able to get the crate to collapse on him and "escape" on two separate occasions. Not only was this sub-optimal from a safety standpoint (at least he only "escaped" within the confines of the house and we didn't have him outside in this thing), if we wanted him to be able to go "free-range" throughout the house, we wouldn't have bothered with the crate in the first place.

We have since "reinforced" the crate with those plastic 4" Plastic Cable Zip Ties 100-Pack (Black) which at least keeps the crate together (though it no longer is "portable" since we can't collapse it) and it works ok -even though Scooter has since put on 25 pounds and is in the 70-pound range right there with his "brothers".

Overall, it is doing the job -however for the price, the quality just isn't as solid as the Midwest crate and we won't be buying another one.

Quick, easy assembly...and the grow feature is invaluable for crate training a puppy. However, having previously raised a large breed, I don't think this product would hold up to as it is not terribly beefy. Get out a tape measure to calculate what size you'll need. Don't depend on the size descriptions as they vary from brand to brand. This one is quite size appropriate for our dog who will top out around 50 pounds.

This is my second Petmate crate. I graduated my pup up a size as she is crated when we're not home and at night. She has plenty of room (she's 2 so no house training issues anymore) and I cut a foam mat for the bottom to make it cushy. HIGHLY recommend this brand very sturdy and folds flat for easy transporting when traveling.

I bought this from my local pet store with some doubts. . .but went with it because it had the best fit for my 40lb pit mix (medium size)

The harness fits her beautifully. The dog loves it so much that she sits and ducks her head into the loop when she sees me with it. I thought it would be hard to put on, but it isn't at all.

The leash is the perfect length for training and can be used in so many configurations. . .I like on hook on the top loop of the harness and the other hook onto the leash itself around my waist for hands free walking. . .but I also can hook it onto the front of the harness for no pull training.

Unfortunately our first one seemed to be defective and the plastic clip around the dog's belly broke on a particularly strong pull (she saw a squirrel) but the store took it back and exchanged it no problem. . .I hope this one holds up
