I have added a new English Goldendoodle puppy (13 weeks) into our family, so needless to say we are training, training, training. We have a variety of smaller sized treats from Zuke's for training and what not, but outside training and extra special treats are left for Lil Links. They have a much stronger aroma so when outside the smaller treats don't stand a chance to keep her attention. Lil' Links do keep her attention, and help keep the frustration on my end down a lot. Not to mention, the price online are over $1 cheaper then in store, and if you are prime member free shipping is amazing!

The only down side I can think of is the Lil' Links aren't that "Lil". When she is full grown they will be a perfect size, but for now I have to chop them in half, which isn't that big of a deal, just 5 minutes of my time...

All in all if you need a great treat Zuke's for sure, but for that lil' extra special treat Lil' Links is the right treat for our pup.

K9 Flyer Jr Dog Toy in Lime

My dog hasn't really taken to this yet. It's smaller than I expected and it's so heavy that she's afraid of it at the moment.

I think I would have been better off getting a lighter-weight frisbee.

Our frisbee dog loves these, either size. It takes some practice to get a good even, straight throw, but our 5 yr old can do it. They do take quite a beating/chewing, but if left alone our dog will chew the center out. Although, even with the center out it still flies. It's also easy on the teeth and gums for catching. Our dog gets bloddy teeth if catching the typical plastic frisbee.

Our Australian Cattle Dog loves the small size of this frisbee. It is soft enough to avoid hurting her mouth and she gets a great satisfaction out of shaking it as she brings it back. More pet store chains should be carrying this item.

You need to look around but this is the best Frisbee type disc on the market. I could not properly exercise my border collies without them. The small once re the perfect size. They are much easier on the gums and teeth then the hard vinyl and they will sail a long way. Don't use them as chew toys. Some sites are still offering them below $6. They have gone up in price with the rise in the cost of petroleum.

Absolutely solved my problem when the living room carpet was involved! She's just a puppy but a lot of damage can occur before they get the message! It was easy to assemble and if you have to have a fence this one looks good (as fenses in the living room go). Made well and tall enough. This dog can jump soooo high and not my first dog to compare jumps with. This keeps her on the right side of the carpet and I feel it will last longer then we will need it. Wishful thinking? Please I hope not! Definitly a good investment if your starting with an untrained puppy!

Guardian Cotton Web Training Pet Lead Leash - Red

I have 50lb pointer, he pulled hard on it and broke this leash. NOT the leash itself, but where the metal part is sewed onto the leash. Wish this was re-enforced stronger. The nylon leash part is actually good quality and is still in tact. This leash would be great for dogs that don't pull or that are lighter than 50lbs.

I've gone through a few cotton leads, as I walk my dog 4x daily through the woods on one, and they get muddy, and caught on brambles and brush, and then washed and dried regularly. This one has stood up to this rough kind of wear and still looks as good as new, unlike others that have frayed and fallen apart rather quickly. I'm very happy with it.

My pup eventually chewed through the original red lead (she still gets excited when there are deer nearby) but I think she would have chewed through anything. I am still very happy, and have purchased additional leads in other colors.

This is a great tool to teach your animals not to enter a place for their safety. A gentle shock, like when you rub your feet on the carpet and get a shock as you touch someone. My cat knew when I put it up across the tv (where he always jumped up). He jumped up and jumped off immediately and never did it again. He stretches to touch it with his paws to check it out, but he never jumps up! It is wonderful. Love this product.

Disappointed. Not impressed.

My blind dog had decided she was also selectively deaf. Many trainers had warned me Not to get a shock collar for a blind dog, but this big bully breed is fearless, headstrong and tenacious even without eyes, si I took a leap of faith. The tones and vibrations actually help me communicate with her without yelling, which I really prefer. Works great over distances. I have only had to use the shock feature once, now I refer to it as "the reverse button". Great collar setup fr the money.

Tri-Tronics Pro 500 G3 EXP Training Collar

After spending a lot of time researching products currently in the market as well as talking to a number of dog owners and trainers I settled on the Pro 500. From all accounts it was the best collar on the market for my application, one waterfowl and upland pointing dog.

This collar was bought to replace an ancient Innotek Command Series 1600. In comparison the Tri-Tronics controller is huge, clunky and the function/options are crude. They couldn't even include a way to connect a lanyard so you have to buy a holster making it even larger? On the other hand, setup is extremely easy, unlike the Innotek which was a real pain. Probably why it is no longer available.

If I had to buy another collar I'd buy the Pro 500 again because it appears to be the best out there right now. But I'll continue to use my Innotek until it dies and they no longer support it.

I found the dog version is a much better value, as it comes in packages up to one pound. The dog version contains large pieces, but just break them in smaller bits. My cats go berserk over this stuff!

My cat loves this snack but I found out that I had misread the ad. I thought I would be 3 packs of 6 oz each. Instead I got 0.6 oz per pack. When I added S & H it ended up costing me nearly double what I would have paid at Petco. Can't afford to do that again.

I would reccommend using the 0.6 rather than the .6 oz format in the future.

These are far and away my cats favorite treats. I don't get it. Supposedly, it's 100% freeze dried chicken and nothing more. Explain to me then.... why do my cats prefer to eat these rather than a can of wet cat food made up of pretty much just shredded chicken? These things smell pretty good (if you like the smell of chicken, that is), but that look about as fun to eat as cardboard. I don't get it.

Don't bother with any of the other flavors besides the chicken -my cats think the shrimp and the liver pieces are toys to bat around until they end up under the refrigerator. But they go absolutely bonkers for the chicken.

Oh, and buy a bigger size if you can. .60 ounces goes pretty fast.

Gave my 1 year old cat a small piece from the bag. She smelled it for about 2 seconds and proceeded to wolf it down and quickly ask for seconds. After obliging that request with a large piece, she went nuts. Aggressively licked my fingers of any and all residue, and is currently alternating between meowing, jumping all over me and sniffing the bag. Was almost startling how she instantly took to the stuff. Kitty crack for sure. Picked up the small bag from Petco, but will definitely order a decent amount from Amazon.

I actually bought the chicken bites for dogs but I'm pretty sure it's exactly the same thing: freeze-dried chicken. All four cats are all over this stuff and it's rare for them to all like the same thing.

I give it to them for "dessert" after they've had some other wet food because they would eat the whole bag if I let them. I have to store the bag in the oven so they can't open the door to get to it.

Pup-head Portable Indoor Dog Potty - Replacement Grass Regular 20"x 30"

I ordered this at the same time I ordered the Puphead Dog Potty so that I could have a replacement while washing/ drying the grass. This fits size-wise, but the grass is thicker and sharper than the original. My dog was starting to use the dog potty, but then refused to even walk on it when I put this one on. Put a real snag on the training.

The only grass replacement I've been able to find that appears to not be an imitation "Pup Head". So far I've wasted $95 on other mats including "potty patch" that claim to be the original grass potty mat. They lie. Nasty plastic grass is what I got from the others. This company's grass mat is the closest to real grass AND actually fits the tray the way it's suppose to. From ordering to arriving was pretty quick & we are happy to have new mats that don't stink. We got 5 years out of the 2 original mats by washing and alternating every 2 weeks (for a 5lb pup) and sprinkling baking soda on the tray & bottom of mat--so purchasing 2 mats at once really helps so that one can completely dry in between washings. Also---don't try any of those enzyme cleaners out there---in an attempt to use the old mats longer I finally broke down to use an enzyme cleaner & even after rewashing with dish detergent (our regular wash soap) & multiple rinses we couldn't get the enzyme out & it irritated our pups feet so bad she began to chew her nails off! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is that the construction doesn't seem to be quite as sturdy as the 1st mats---but I won't really be able to tell until we wash multiple times. This is the best.

The Perfect Leash Walker 35-Inch Polyurethane Dog Leash

This is a great leash. I have a 70lb and a 45lb dog and they are not good walkers. Since the leash is strecthy it automatically pulls the dogs back so you don't have to yank their leashes. I definately recommend this leash.

Although I was a bit worried when it first came out of the box, being that it was a bit heavier than my normal leash and shorter, one walk outside put all my fears to rest. Not only is it beyond comfortable but the length actually helped. My little guy walks right beside me and when he does randomly stop, which he did quite a bit more before this leash, there is a nice little spring to it which makes for a much gentler tug on my arm.

I got this for my pit who is a little bit of a brat when it comes for corrections. Her metal collar never seemed to stay where I needed it to. Especially when i was training other dogs along with her. I heard from another trainer that the nylon was the best as far a good correction collar. Now we are using it for all of the rescue dogs I train. I love this product. It doesnt hurt the dog but it def gets the point across. Plus it looks very stylish and less intimating that the metal. I also like that it's quiet!

Majestic Pet Martingale Dog Collar

Bought this collar for my moms dog, because the choke chain she had left a black coloring on her neck. Collar works great, when the dog puls e collar tightens and stops the dog from pulling again. Worth it to buy one.

I bought two of these in late fall and just put one on my golden retriever yesterday. Either I am doing something wrong or these fit weird. I always have them a little loose on the dog as he has a fat hairy neck. By doing so, the access collar hangs down in a straight line, thus making this look kind of "Y" shaped on his neck. Then to top it off, I have a puppy who loves to bother this older dog so he goes up and grabs that bottom part to try to choke the dog or pull him around. It is constructed well but either I don't know how to adjust this or they don't fit like a regular collar. If anyone has one of these and can help me, I would appreciate it. I bought two of these and seems like I won't be using either.

It came! Works great. Instructions are a little confusing, but within about half an hour we got the tester to light more than once and tried it on or dog. only thing I've noticed is sometimes it beeps at her (not a shock) when she is just laying down moving around, others it seems to miss a bark...for the most part though it works great and is already making a huge difference in our year old rottweiler who went nuts any time someone went by. Everything is on level three, the shock is on level 2. She definitely respects it and recognizes that beep warning in bark mode. I love that it has a warning beep in bark mode, and doesn't just shock her. She is able to adjust her behavior to avoid a shock. Great training tool if used properly. Like I said it does miss a bark here and there, so carrying the remote for now is a must. However, I have seen a huge difference in her just in the first 24 hours. This is a great value because it has both a shock training collar and a bark collar function. At the pet store there are no collars that even compare...they are not waterproof, and the ones that are lack any bark feature. I would recommend this collar to anyone!

This item was a great buy. The instruction are a little confusing at first and they are necessary. I spent a bit of time trying to figure it out without them and finally gave up and got the instruction. On the good things this thing is very humane. I hate it when people look at it and think it is so in humane to give dogs shock collars and they turn around and hit their dog. In addition you do not have to shock your dog either. After associating the beep and vibrations with the shock then that is all you need to do most of the time to correct their actions. This eliminates ever having to put a hand on your dog aside from praise. The shock feature is nothing like a stun gun which I have heard the question before. It is simply a shock and does not leave any marks or hurt the dog, just gets their attention with some displeasure. Within two days there was almost a complete turn around in our dogs attitude. We can now walk her without a leash and she never runs to far in front and doesn't bug other people without our OK. You do have to recharge the battery about every 3 days if you leave it on constantly but it last a week+ if you only use it when you know you are going to be training your dog.

I have had this for almost a year and break it out periodically to retrain on particularly challenging behaviors in my 1 year old australian shepherd. I haven't had a single one of the other problems that any of these other reviewers are talking about, and highly recommend this product, which I bought after EXTENSIVE research.
