We got this with intentions to train our puppy, but we haven't been consistent owners (our fault!). The clicker is well made; not like the cheap Petsmart ones. It clicks solidly, and the puppy definitely recognizes it as a 'positive' noise = he's getting a treat. You can click it from a room away, and he'll come running!

The cards included are helpful for beginners to start training simple commands + behaviors. I'd recommend buying this card + clicker set if you're new to dog behavior stuff. Karen's website also has tons of information that you can read online, so check that out as well! Good luck :)

This is a great item for a beginner learning to train their puppy. My dog had a litter and while I was waiting to find them new homes, I used the clicker method to train the puppy's. I am pleased to say that every one that received one of my puppy's is thrilled at their level of training. The cost was nominal, but the rewards are great. Of course, you have to put the time in with the puppy's individually to train them. I can tell you that it works.

This is an excellent set for dog trainers or individuals who want to increase the range of activities they do with their dogs. It would help if the user had some understanding of clicker training. That said, the directions are easy to understand and provide a good introduction to using a clicker. The clicker has a nice ergonomic shape that fits well in the hand. The click is a pleasant sound, not too loud, and not as annoying as some metal clickers. If, like me, you have trouble holding treats, leash and clicker, I recommend the style of clickers that come with a finger loop--it is always there in the right position and you won't drop it.

This was a gift for girls trying to teach the dog tricks and it was a delight. Our 10 year old granddaughter had a grand time with the clicker and her dog.

The little cards didn't really help, but the clicker works! The dog's been running to me every time I click it. I taught him how to give hand, stand up, and turn with the clicker.

If you are taking your pet on an airline, this is the only pet crate we could find that was truly "Airline Approved".

Most airlines require a plastic kennel that's bolted together with plastic or metal treaded screws (knob, clamp and clamshell locks are strictly forbidden on almost every airline), not top loading, allow for at least 1.5" of clearance from the sides on all sides, and vented on four sides.

This crate met all but one. The back of the carrier is not vented, but we solved that problem with a power drill and a 1/2" bit. 27 holes later and you have a truly airline approved pet crate.

I got this kennel beacause on the product description says that this kennel has rear vents that it is require by the airline I'm using to transport my dog but when I got the kennel delivery to my home I got with the surprise that it didn't have any rear vents like it says on the product description, of course I'm not very happy because this is a product that you buy according to the airline regulations and expend a lot of time looking for the one to fit with all these airline regulations that this product claim to have like the rear vents but it didn't,and now I don't have time to send it back and wait for amazon to send me another one with the rear vents like it says on their product description because I have to travel in a few days only.

I have order other products with amazon and i have always been very satisfied with their productcs and their service but this was my most important purchase because of all these airlines regulations and the lock of time and I couldn't believe this dog kennel didn't have the rear vents like it says on the product descriptions.

I breed and raise Great Danes, and this kennel is a wonderful addition to the house. It is big enough for a teenager, and makes them feel secure and safe. Much easier to clean than the wire ones, and you can travel with your giant dog on some airplanes. Too large for any but the biggest planes. But if you work to find an aircraft large enough to accomodate the mammoth size, you can take your friend where ever you go in this crate.

My seven year old lab has escaped from metal dog boxes and pretty much anything we have put him in for any length of time. This crate is the only crate he has not been able to escape from because of the twist lock on the door. I have used this crate with him for 6 years. I also use it for my three other dogs. Although this crate may be seen as being more suitable for a medium sized dog, our small dog much prefers it to the smaller crate. She has enough room to be comfortable and turn around without difficulty but not enough to allow her to soil her sleeping area. She has no difficulty walking in there now when it's time for a nap or when we need some time to do chores where we can't watch her as much as we need to. It works well as a transport crate and makes her feel secure and comfortable when she's in the car. An all around good product.

this collar is a little expensive but well worth the price. i have a dog that does not like other dogs and loves to chase cats! i got so tired of people giving me dirty looks and telling me that the regular prong collar i WAS using was "cruel" to the dog. people who do not have a problem dog, do not understand! a trainer once told me to "distract him with treats". when should i do that,trainer? while he's yanking my arm off or while i'm face-planted on the asphalt/sidewalk? this collar is so wonderful! it comes in different sizes. my dog has a 19" neck but i ordered the 24" so i could fit it to my liking. didn't want it exactly at 19" cause i felt it was too tight. one problem: it is not easy to add or remove the links. the instructions make it look easy but it is not. i used a pair of pliers. u can also order extra links if needed. the best thing about this collar is that it looks like a regular collar :)Herm Sprenger Neck Tech Training Collar Black 24"

i have a dog that i trained to go potty in the house. these are the best i have ever tried. i'm just sorry that the stores i go to, target, petsmart, walmart don't carry these any more. just in case i have run low. so i'm glad i found them online and at such a greater savings. i wanted to order them in the larger count size, but they were out of them at the time. i hope they have them in stock now. you can even "rub hard" on the pad to wipe up dog dodo. i have rubbed really hard just to see how well they stand up they don't rip or anything. i even spray dog rug cleaner on it to make it cleaner where he goes potty. and the pkg states that it wicks away the pee quickly. and it sure does. and when you open them up you can shake it like a towel to open it up for the floor and not worry it's going to rip or the inner padding shift. the other type of pads if you hold them up to the light, you'll see how sparce the padding is. and any other brand does not hold a candle to this brand's deodorizing quality. try them.

I have a large dog, and these pads don't always contain moisture at the edges. They work fairly well when hit squarely in the center, but required frequent mopping to clean spillovers in the area. I won't buy these pads again.

One of my dogs will not walk on the wet grass outside, so has decided to use the garage. My only hope until solving this issue is putting down pads. The Hartz large size pads have worked better for me than any other I've tried. They are hard to find, so at least now I have a source. The typical "puppy" pads are useless with a medium sized adult dog. I should try for a sponsorship from Hartz!

I've purchased a lot of pads in an attempt to try to find the best. This is by far the worst pad for leaking! Although it says "Guaranteed floor protection and leak-proof disposal" in the description, don't believe it. My dog always goes in the corners of the pads. These pads are unable to contain liquid around the corners/edges. It just leaks right off. So the 12-hour claim might be accurate IF your dog can go right in the center. Also, I don't have a "large" dog. He's only 17 pounds!

I have a pitbull and they are knowing as being super chewers. I did not think I could ever find a toy that MoMo could not kill in a matter of minutes. Tinkle Belts, Size Small (14-17" waist)

We have never been able to keep our small, male dog from urinating in the house. He'll go in the house even with the back door wide open! Even when we put wee pads in his favorite indoor spots, he'd use those AND find new places to go. We couldn't set anything on the floor, had to take up all rugs and carpets, continuously wipe down or wash furniture. We then tried various types and brands of diapers and "male wraps." Most slipped or leaked (even when we inserted sanitary pads in them) so that they did not contain the urine, and none really fit him comfortably or well. Finally we tried the Tinkle Belt, and it worked! It fits him very well and he seems not to even notice it's on (in others he'd walk sideways, or refuse to walk at all). A sanitary pad fits perfectly in it, and it covers without slipping.

It also seems to be the only thing so far that has given him a clue about housetraining! We take it off when he goes outside, and put it on him at all times when he is inside. When we first put it on, he wet it frequently. After a couple of days, we noticed it was dry more than it was wet. It seems that he doesn't like to feel wet, and so is learning to wait to go outside. Yay!

We liked the first belt we ordered so much that we decided to order a couple of spare belts. I accidentally ordered the wrong size, and when I asked to exchange or return and reorder in the right size, the seller offered to send the right size and asked that I donate the too-small belts I'd mistakenly ordered to the humane society in hopes of helping dogs with elimination problems keep or find homes.

I have a 17 year old male dog who is amazingly hanging in there, except for his frequent urination. No matter how often we take him out he cannot hold his bladder. After two years of frustration with our adopted Manchester Terrier, Charlie, we were at the end of our rope. When we rescued him, we knew he had house training issues and had not been neutered, which let us to believe he may have been part of a puppy mill breeding operation. I got this for my pit who is a little bit of a brat when it comes for corrections. Her metal collar never seemed to stay where I needed it to. I live on a corner lot with a 26 foot wrought iron gate that goes across my driveway. I remarried on 1/2/12 and inherited 2 miniture Australian Sheperds (brothers who are 5 years old). They used to bark at at EVERYTHING. We live across the street from an elementary school and therefore have dozens of parents and children constantly walking past our driveway where my dogs stay. I tested the collar on my own neck at setting 2 and at setting 5 (it has 9 settings). I was not about to put something on my dogs without testing on myself first. Setting 2 woke me up pretty good...setting 5 truly got my attention! I set both of the collars at setting 2. One of my dogs (Tristan) barked quite a bit more than the other (Teddy). I let them outside and observed them from a window (I am manually initiating correction by pressing buttons). The first time Tristan barked while wearing it...I hit the vibrate button. He barked again so I hit the beep button. He barked again so I hit the shock button. He squealed and jumped and retreated from the gate. I bought the collars 2 weeks ago. In total...Tristan had to be shocked 4 times....and Teddy only 2. Today, neither one of my dogs bark at anything outside! I have removed the training collars and they are back to wearing their TAGG GPS collars. Barking problem solved! I am a very technical person and the manual/instructions are pretty cryptic...but once I completely figured out how the controller works...it is really simple to operate. I never tried another product...but this one worked perfectly for me.

I broke the first one ordered and received a replacement order. One of the receivers blew out after a week and would not work after that. These may work on smaller dogs but after the initial few attempts, my pit bull was not bothered by it. As a matter of fact, he would sit there and look at me after the beep, as if to say bring it on and hardly flinched when it was turned up full strength.

Let me tell you from the start the problems with this collar; When you press the shock button it actually takes three seconds before the collar responds giving the dog time to correct themselves before the shock hits resulting in confusion on the dogs part. Yes, the dog gets shocked when they're doing the right thing, responding to your calls to come! Also, the transponder (the hand held part) shuts off after 60 seconds so when the dogs not responding to your calls you have to repower it up and wait for it to connect to the collar before you can use it to correct the dog in which there is a lost opportunity for correction. This results in the dog getting a correction shock only part of the time when it's needed; again confusing the dog!

This is a HORRIBLE training collar and I highly advise you to avoid it.
