First of all this a dedicated TREAT BAG, not a purse or fanny pack so don't expect to carry more than the essentials in it. Cell phones, wallets and dog toys fit better in large pockets, that's what they're for. Or use a fanny pack--especially if you're a sport enthusiast--and need to have the extra storage space.

The zipper pouch in the hidden back of the treat bag is good for basic ID, an ATM/credit card or paper money.

The front velcro pocket is good for a small ball, but not much else. I buy the box of plastic one size fits all gloves for picking up dog poop in my backyard (the gloves make sure I pick it ALL up) and I stuff some of these in the velcro pocket to pick up any mess my dog makes. Turn inside out and you have a poop pick up or a slobbery ball holder you can tie off and place in your pocket without much worry of an inappropriate wet mark on your pants/shorts.

I use a short clip-on key ring for my basic key set (house door,car door/ignition and mail key) and they fit nicely on the key ring attached to the treat bag when I have no pockets or my pockets are full.

Now to the meat of the item, this is a good grade of material that you will expect to use for some time. Not thin plastic like you might find on other products (*cough*Outward Hound*cough*). The item says it's water resistant and I'd believe it. Resistant not proof. It has the velcro pouch and a thin open area where the main pouch is so the water will go inside that if it's pouring or submersed. Just like is says, the main pouch has a stay-open spring hinge top that snaps shut to keep treats securely stored. It's a little stiff, and I like it that way. It'll stay open enough to dole out several quick treats or shut with the flick of your hand--great for when you bend over and don't want all the treats to fall out. (WD-40 or some other all-use hinge oil should keep the hinges in good working order and help your bag last over time.)

This comes with a soft belt, but I use a leather man's belt and it fits just fine on that. The belt loops fit perfectly and the clip between them has a lip on it that helps it to hold onto my leather belt. I've never used it without my belt, so I don't know how well it does just clipped to the top of your pants.

I'm a professional dog trainer and am always looking for new and different treat bags. This is obviously a rip off of the Premier treat bag (which I love dearly), but I thought I would give it a try. It seems like it might be a tad larger than the Premier bag, which is fine with me. My major problem with it is that it's incredibly difficult to open. I literally need two hands to wrench it open, which is the last thing you want during a training session when you need to reinforce quickly. It might be a dud, but it's a dud that's got me going back to Premier. The front pocket is also smaller than the Premier pocket, though I do like the back clip better, as well as the type of belt they use, but since I can barely get the bag open, none of that really matters. The material inside also seems like it would degrade over time.

When I got this bag I suspected that the mechanism wouldn't last long. It felt a bit creaky and I feared it would either freeze up or get too loose to remain open once opened.

But I've had it at my waist now for 3+ months of twice daily dog walks and it's still opening (and remaining open) and closing (and remaining closed) just like new. Just remember, that slightly sticky feeling when you squeeze it open or shut isn't a bug, it's a feature!

I also like the size of the main pocket. It's big enough to pour a whole week's supply of treats in there. And there's two little pockets (one velcro, one zippered) for insubstantial extras like a thin plastic poop bag. And a nice keychain loop to stick a clicker on.

The only flaw is the belt; it's not fastened on and is a little small for the belt loops so it occasionally slips out when I'm carrying (not wearing) it, and plus the buckles are kind of primitive so it tends to get loose no matter how tightly I cinch it.

I shopped through a lot a treat bags before choosing this one. I wanted one that would stand open for quick, easy access to the treats. I also wanted one with its own belt, since I never wear one, and the belt had to be long enough for an overweight person like me (some others had belts, but they were too short). I couldn't imagine one that clipped onto my waistband being either comfortable or secure. I wish only that all the pockets were a little larger to carry more treats and more and larger accessories. My keys barely fit into one of the small pockets. Well constructed overall. I'll be using it for a long time.

Ok, it is a bit pricey but it's well worth it. Used for a German Shepherd that had already broken a nylon and a chain leash. Sturdy and nice looking too.

This leash is very nice but not quite as outstanding as I was expecting at this price point. There are a couple of places in the leather that seem wrinkled and weak. The rivets are not centered which I don't think affects funtion but does look look sloppy. What bothers me the most is the constant leather shedding and peeling of the unfinished underside. On the positive side, the leather is soft and supple.

If this leash were under $30, I'd consider it a good value. At $45, I'm underwhelmed.

Value Pad reasonably exceeded my expectation. I have three rescue dogs that I love more than most parents love their children. With three dogs (my dogs are small: 12-14 pounds each); I need a pad that is absorbent without spending a load of cash. For a short period of time, I was strapping a maxi-pad over each dog's dick. Name brand maxi-pads are expensive and my dogs ended up playing tug of war with the pads. In my entrance hall, I have a tiny area rug that seems to be the dog magnet. I have tried Four Paws Wee-Wee pads, Dynarex Under pads(worst),Simply Right Super Absorbent under pads(very good-still use) and Natures Miracle Advanced Wee Pads(still use)and find Natures Miracle Advanced Ultra is the best by far for doggie wee pads! I have (2) 4-lb puppies that share the same pads and I am impressed on how absorbent Natures Miracle Advanced turned out to be. They claim to hold 6 cups of liquid and I believe it, this is the only pad with Polymer in it, Polymer helps absorption and keeps the spread of the liquid to a minimum getting more use out of the pad, this pad is also fantastic at keeping odor absorbed. The funny thing is I bought this brand on accident, 50pads for $39 bucks at Petsmart which I find is the only place I can get these pads in-store in my area. The pad size is larger than the other pads 27x23, the others are 23x24 and Natures are truly the closest pad to the usable size stated on the package, the other pads can be up to 4inches smaller in usable area size(so your 23x24 pad is actually 19x21 inches)because the blue border is non-absorbent and not usable(Dynarex brand)!! I just bought Natures Miracle Advanced Ultra on sale at Petsmart, 100pads for $39 which is a great price but I only use these in my crate due to that high price. For daily use, I go with Simply Right Super Absorbent 23x36 under pads from Sam's club which is also very very good and not bad at keeping odor at bay with a very very cheap price tag, 120pads for $24 plus they are sold in-store, no need to order online. I put these 23x36 pads on top of crate replacement trays $14 bucks on sale at Petco free shipping at the time to help keep the urine for spilling when they use the edge of the pads. Even the Natures Miracle doesn't stop the half on half off the pad and you have to agree you can't catch them every time. I would def recommend these pads I am very happy with them, just wish the price would come down.

These large pads work great for our small dog so she doesn't have to go outside in this wintery weather. Love them and there is no oder with them either.

The Advanced Ultra Absorbent pads have worked the best of all the different pads we've tried. We currently have a 15yo blind min-pin and a 2yo pughuahua (pug/chihuahua). Smell is minimal, especially considering the dogs will pee 3-4 times on the pad. During the rainy season, the girls refuse to go outside. I've watched as they stick their heads out the doggie door and squat their little butts on the floor grrrr. The pads have been a lifesaver, especially when I'm not around to shoo them out.

The backing is slightly textured so the pads don't slip on the floor like some other brands (Dynarex comes to mind). If your dog has stiff or arthritic legs, this larger-sized pad will resist wrapping around their little feet. Can't speak to bigger than 10-15 lbs, though.

Have tried other Nature's Miracle's training pads, but this one works the best for our needs, by far.

Guardian Gear Choke Chain with Nylon Web - Rainbow

i bought this for my 25 lb cocker spaniel mix. i wanted a collar that was sturdy, looked good, and was practical. this fits the bill. the rainbow colors reflect her fun personality, the chain is strong, and the choke style helps me keep her in line while on a leash. the only thing i'm sort of bummed about is that the chain/o-rings are not made of stainless steel; the o-ring that i use to attach her leash has become worn and is now a dull coppery color.

This collar is so pretty on our black dog, the fabric woven through the links keeps the hair from getting caught in the collar and tangled. This is a nice collar for dogs with longer hair that gets matted and tangled with regular chain collars. I'm not sure how well the fabric will hold up to prolonged wear, but since it is the same price as a regular chain collar, however long it lasts is a bonus. It also looks really pretty on the dog, much nicer than plain chain.

The quality of the rainbow which is some sort of woven cotton, is impressive and the colors are beautiful. I've bought three of these as my German Shepherd puppy keeps growing out of them! But now at 8 months old and almost 85 pounds, I am about to once again make another purchase, hopefully the last one she'll grow out of.

When it gets dirty and needs washing, just gather a small bowl or wash it in the bathroom sink with some shampoo to remove the doggie grime and oils for it to look brand new again. Remarkable easy to hand wash, dries quickly and looks perfect each time. My dog does not stay outside for hours in the sun, so I cannot comment on whether it will fade if your dog is an outside dog.

Always remember when you slip it over your dogs had, the collar should resemble the letter "P". Then you'll have the slider in the right position for your dog to walk on your left. Enjoy!

We have a 90 lb, very large, very muscular dog who had no training in his previous home. We usually prefer using the Gentle Leader for good, fast control, but this dog still pulled so hard whenever a squirrel was near that we could not control him even with the GL. He started to get worn areas on his snout from pulling against it. Since there are squirrels everywhere right now, we tried this No-Pull Harness. Although we still need to keep an eye out for the squirrels ahead of time, it is harder for him to jump up a tree when we use it and he does pull less. The soft velvet lining on the underside is a nice quality and is tightly sewn to the harness. The whole thing seems very well made and has held up very well so far. It's not as easy to turn your dog away from a squirrel or another dog using this (compared to GL). There is a ring on the chest area so you can attach the leash at both the back and chest, but so far we have found it a bit difficult to master getting him to turn away using this method. I think that with further training (of both dog and humans!), it will get easier to walk him using this. Quite logically, if you are an adult who weighs considerably more than your dog, it works well. It won't work if you want your teenager to be able to walk your stubborn, strong dog. It's also important to follow the instructions and training method. It's time consuming, but it's the only way to cure this behavior.

The first one our pup chewed through, but have no fear after a small wait and a nominal shipping fee they sent us back the first harness better than new and now we have two!!

I'm training a sweet young pit bull to walk on a leash. She wouldn't tolerate the Gentle Leader, which for me, is the gold standard for eliminating pulling and controlling your dog when she sees a squirrel/dog/insert-your-dog's-craziness-trigger-here. So I tried the Easy Walk (didn't fit right and chafing was a big problem) and now the Freedom Harness.

Pros: The Freedom harness is well-made and attractive. The velvet straps are not a luxury but necessary to avoid serious chafing. Once you get the hang of it, it's not hard to put on. The advantage of any harness over a collar is reducing stress and injury to the neck this girl can pull so hard sometimes I thought she'd choke herself. And compared to a collar, the Freedom harness does increase my control when she lunges after a squirrel or other fascinating thing.

Cons: As far as I can tell, this harness simply does not significantly reduce pulling. When she's not trying to chase something, my dog can walk pretty well on a leash, so I just have to control her when she goes after an animal. Although I have more control with this harness than with a regular collar, it is still not easy to control her if she really goes after something. The level of control is NOTHING like the Gentle Leader, which can turn her head away from the trigger. And if she's in a pulling mood, this harness seems to do nothing to deter her.

Bottom line: If your dog has occasional pulling problems and can't tolerate the GL, I recommend the Freedom Harness over other "no-pull" harnesses. But for determined pullers, there's nothing like the GL If your dog can tolerate it.

I have two of these harnesses for my dogs. In both cases, the harness was inadvertently left on them alone. In both cases, the dog did bite out of them and the company (Wiggles, Wags, & Whiskers) replaced the harness without question. The harness itself works well. I prefer it for them as the dogs respond more quickly to a pull on their chest over the typical neck collar. I have to admit that I do not use both rings very often as the ring between the shoulder blades works very well alone but the harness did come with a leash that can attach to the front of their chest and between the shoulder blades. When I used the harness in that setup, the dogs did not leave my side at all.

Since neither of my 2 dogs can write about this new Lickety Stik, I will do my best.

A new idea for treats is always welcomed. We had 3 flavors of Stiks, Bacon, Chicken and Liver. We tried all three on both Sundae and Casey. Sundae licked all three and seemed to like them all. Casey, however, wouldn't try any of the three, just turning his head in apparent disgust (lol). Having had dogs my whole life, you never can tell what a dog will like or dislike. I didn't give this 5 stars, because of some functional reasons, not because Casey didn't even try it. First, the lick ball is exactly like a deodorant ball. As a matter of fact, the container reminds me of an Arrid Rollerball Deodorant bottle exactly. It doesn't move freely by just licking, you have to gently squeeze the bottle for the liquid to be available to the dog. If you squeeze too hard, it drips onto the floor. Other than that, it seems to be enjoyable. It is supposed to be healthy, but I had to use a magnifying glass to read the rather small label.

Update July/September 2012: Sad to say both my beautiful puppies in this video have passed on. They were both 12 years old.

I am a veterinarian with 7 years experience, and I have 3 Great Danes. I am always looking for safe, effective, fun, and innovative new pet products. I saw the video for this product, and definitely agree that carrying a pocketful of crumbling treats isn't much fun for training/rewards, so decided to give it a try. All 3 of my girls tried to bite the bottle at first (and I think most dogs will), but within a few seconds, all of them figured it out, and were licking away very happily, each taking their turn sitting down for me. I also recently used it to help keep them standing still while my 8 year old daughter gave them baths outside with the hose on a nice warm day....much less mess than doing it in the tub inside! It was also handy when we went for a short hike at a local park a while back, as I am training the 2 younger Danes to wear backpacks (that's a whole other story!). Even if the dogs jump in the river wearing their backpacks and get them soaked, their treats won't get soggy. The only thing I would like to see is using a liquid treat that's maybe a bit healthier for them...the ingredient list on the Lickety Stik looks like a lot of processed stuff. It does have a bit of an odor, too, but I didn't find it that strong or offensive like some of the other people here did. And I think it's the odor that really draws the dogs to come check it out...otherwise, why would they want to just lick a plastic roller ball?

Also, I think it would be nice to have a bottle that is just a little bit larger for the large/giant breeds like mine...but this does work well regardless. Finally, I think it would be great to have a refillable bottle, so there would be less waste...500 licks goes fast when you're training 3 big dogs!

Oh, and yes, I will re-order this, and do recommend it.

It's been several weeks of using it and there is still a ton of licking left, definitely getting my moneys worth out of this treat.

Another thing that has been nice is the ability to keep this in my pocket without making a mess. So going for a walk with it has been nice (and a great way to keep his attention when there are other not well behaved dogs around).

Well the puppy dog has spoken... he loves Lickety Stik!

When we first presented it to him he was a bit unsure and tried to bite the stick which was kind of cute but he quickly realized he had to lick it.

Now every time the Lickety Stik comes out as a reward or to teach him something, he just can't wait to lick the bejesus out of it.

Not only does the dog love it and responds really well to it, it's made in the USA!

Izzy, our mini schnauzer, is very food motivated. Schnauzers have a tendency to get chunky though, so rewarding her with food every time she does a trick is a balancing act between giving her something she likes but not having her snack with treats all day.

At 1 calorie per 10 licks, along with a fun interactive way to give her the treat, the lickety safe is fun and healthy. She had no trouble at all figuring out how to lick the deodorant like ball. Very well constructed and high quality, my only disappointment in this product is that I bought the wrong size for my dog and I'm located way in the caribbean. I well definitely buy another one in a smaller size, as soon as I get rid of the one I can't use.

I bought this muzzle for my Pit Bull. She doesn't mind putting it on at all! She hasn't quite figured out how to drink while having it on yet though. The problems I've had with this muzzle isn't really a manufacture problem, except I have a little annoyed problem with the middle bar that runs vertical, in the middle of where the nose would be. It seems like that part is too close to her nose and tends to rub against it. I sincerely think it bothers me more than it does my dog, cause she doesn't seem to mind it at all, but to me it seems bothersome. The only other thing is, she did manage to slip it off once, but that was only because my husband had it one notch too loose. So, be sure to always pay attention to what notch it's supposed to be on, or one notch too loose makes it easy to slip off. Other than that, I love this muzzle. My husband and I have been looking and researching good muzzles for Bully breeds for a long time. I was a little hesitant at first, because it does look rather intimidating, and Bully breeds already have such a bad rep, I didn't want my girl to look vicious. I've soon noticed her constant tail wagging diminishes that vicious look its tends to give her, so that was no longer an issue.

Himalayan Dog Chew, Medium 2.5 oz

Loquat and Leonard are brother and sister labs. I've been searching for the perfect edible chew toy since they were born (perfect= lasts an hour or so, dogs like the taste, inexpensive).

The Himalayan chews got 1 out of 3 in my rating system. While the dogs clearly enjoyed their yaky goodness, my more chewy dog ate hers in under 10 minutes. She's a monster, granted. My other dog took his leisurely time licking the treat and lightly chewed it until it, too, was gone in under an hour. To give you a better picture, my dogs are both around sixty pounds and are under a year old.

The chew toys that we've found work are hooves (cheap, but super stinky) and braided bullysticks. They last about as long as these crazy Himalayan cheese sticks, but they're like a dollar each (look for them online or at Costco).

Final verdict, if I were rich, my dogs would get Himalayan dog chews, imported Spanish silver dog dishes, Italian wool beds and personal massage therapists. But as it stands, I can barely afford Ikea for even myself so hooves it is!

This is the best chew ever. My dog won't put it down and they last a really long time. The first time I gave her one she immediately ran away with it and hid it, now that's the sign of a good bone! They are also all natural and good for your dog's teeth.

If you have a dog who has weak jaws and is a licker rather then a chewer this may work well. My (smaller) Doberman split this right in 1/2 with in 15 mins. Then it scared the crap outta me thinking that she could just swallow it down whole.. So I threw it away along with too much $$ on this product. I'll stick with BullySticks.

My Maltese loves these chews sticks. As she's a little dog, it's been hard for me to find long lasting chew sticks that are small enough for her little mouth. There are plenty of chew sticks and bones out there for study chewers with large mouths, but these are a long lasting option for little dogs too. Plus, my dog seems to love the flavor.

I bought a medium size which is a bit of a challenge for her to maneuver and chew, but the challenge just makes the stick last even longer.

My dog loved this treat, and it took days for her to get through it. However, once she was 2/3 of the way through the bone, she swallowed the remiander. She seemed fine until 4 days later, she vomited up the entire piece of the bone in tact. This sat in her stomach for 4 days and was not digested one bit. Fine for a chew toy but not for consumption.
