Vasquez Collars Leather Collar

I am a dog walker and use many different types of collars for client's dogs, however, this one really works great. I purchased the leather collar for my lab 5 years ago and still am using it, she is 12 now. It worked great when we first started using it and she became conditioned to the sound of the chain and now we still use it and she cannot slip out of it. I can't tell you how many people just use a regular collar that is very loose and dogs can easily slip out of them, not with this collar. We need to keep our pets safe and in our control at all ages and this one is great!

It is well made, heavy duty leather riveted to a nice flat chain. The size was correctly measured and fit well. The links do not get tangled in my dogs long fur. Best of all, it provides a limited tightening for control without actually choking my dog. I highly recommend it!

We really like the design of this collar. Some words of warning... the color is oxblood not black as it appears in the photo. Also, the sizing is a little strange. If you go to the manufacturer's website they provide a size chart; but the sizes listed are for the collar FULLY cinched up (i.e. the rings connecting the leather touching). Basically when we followed their sizing guidelines the collar did not go tight when pulled all the way, and was far too loose when the leash was off. We returned it for a smaller size and all was good. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is because the size guidelines were not clear.

I have two very strong dogs that weigh sixty pounds each. A few months ago I bought two of these leashes for my furbabies. Now I can handle both my dogs without having my arms practicully ripped off when they see a squirrel. The leashes absorb the shock and my dogs are not able to pull me down the street.

Nature's Miracle Advanced Ultra Absorbent Pads - 100 Count

I have tried Four Paws Wee-Wee pads, Dynarex Under pads(worst),Simply Right Super Absorbent under pads(very good-still use) and Natures Miracle Advanced Wee Pads(still use)and find Natures Miracle Advanced Ultra is the best by far for doggie wee pads! I have (2) 4-lb puppies that share the same pads and I am impressed on how absorbent Natures Miracle Advanced turned out to be. They claim to hold 6 cups of liquid and I believe it, this is the only pad with Polymer in it, Polymer helps absorption and keeps the spread of the liquid to a minimum getting more use out of the pad, this pad is also fantastic at keeping odor absorbed. The funny thing is I bought this brand on accident, 50pads for $39 bucks at Petsmart which I find is the only place I can get these pads in-store in my area. The pad size is larger than the other pads 27x23, the others are 23x24 and Natures are truly the closest pad to the usable size stated on the package, the other pads can be up to 4inches smaller in usable area size(so your 23x24 pad is actually 19x21 inches)because the blue border is non-absorbent and not usable(Dynarex brand)!! I just bought Natures Miracle Advanced Ultra on sale at Petsmart, 100pads for $39 which is a great price but I only use these in my crate due to that high price. For daily use, I go with Simply Right Super Absorbent 23x36 under pads from Sam's club which is also very very good and not bad at keeping odor at bay with a very very cheap price tag, 120pads for $24 plus they are sold in-store, no need to order online. I put these 23x36 pads on top of crate replacement trays $14 bucks on sale at Petco free shipping at the time to help keep the urine for spilling when they use the edge of the pads. Even the Natures Miracle doesn't stop the half on half off the pad and you have to agree you can't catch them every time. I would def recommend these pads I am very happy with them, just wish the price would come down.

These large pads work great for our small dog so she doesn't have to go outside in this wintery weather. Love them and there is no oder with them either.

These pads are really expensive and don't work any better to keep the dog from tracking pee all over the place. I will stick with the value pads I had previously purchased.

The Advanced Ultra Absorbent pads have worked the best of all the different pads we've tried. We currently have a 15yo blind min-pin and a 2yo pughuahua (pug/chihuahua). Smell is minimal, especially considering the dogs will pee 3-4 times on the pad. During the rainy season, the girls refuse to go outside. I've watched as they stick their heads out the doggie door and squat their little butts on the floor grrrr. The pads have been a lifesaver, especially when I'm not around to shoo them out.

The backing is slightly textured so the pads don't slip on the floor like some other brands (Dynarex comes to mind). If your dog has stiff or arthritic legs, this larger-sized pad will resist wrapping around their little feet. Can't speak to bigger than 10-15 lbs, though.

Have tried other Nature's Miracle's training pads, but this one works the best for our needs, by far.

I tape a pad to the floor. I keep an eye on my puppy so she cant tear it up. I have learned since I purchased their slightly lower prices at Costco.

I purchased this item in December 2010 and have found it to be effective initially, the features are practical and usable however the battery for the remote is not a common find and will last about 3 months maybe less depending on how often the unit is used. Of late one of the receiver collars is not responding to any signals from the remote even with fresh batteries and additionally the static correction needed to be turned up to the highest setting for my pitbull (100) and he would just turn his head and start stratching his neck as though he had an itch, my boxer on the other hand is set to 23 and that seems to be enough to get his attention. Bottom line, good idea but at this point I feel as though I got what I paid for in that this was one of the cheapest remote electric collars I have seen and I suspect a whole lot less went into manufacturing it.

I bought this crate for shipping my 70lb Malamute/Shepherd from Seattle to Hawaii. It worked perfectly, got him to me safe and sound, and turns out to be a great on-the-go carrier as well.

In researching carriers I decided to go with a bigger than necessary carrier as my dog is fluffy and tall. This way he would pass muster at the airport. The carrier was delivered timely and without a problem. It was even easily assembled by my not quite mechanically inclined father. The carrier is solidly molded plastic with metal screws and plastic nuts that hold the two halves together. There are two screws at the door (one on each side), three along each side, and two in the back. The screws also have a square neck at their base allowing them to 'lock' into the bottom half of the carrier and not unscrew themselves in transit. There are full panels of large vents on all three sides (*back included*) on the top half of the carrier. I went with this style mainly because my dog is a bit of an escape artist and I read reviews of the other 'set-in' wire vents being popped out. It is also one of the few large carriers that has venting in the back to be IATA compliant. The door is a simple squeeze type lock, that rotates on a single stationary rod. The metal rods protrude into small molded cavities for each contact point (not just a hole) making it nice and secure. There are also pre-drilled zip-tie holes to even more securely lock the door. They even got these right putting one hole on each side at the top corners of the door, one on each side on the bottom corners of the door, and one on each side in the middle of the door sides and staggered it so one side zips to the top half of the carrier, and the other zips to the bottom half. They also have pre-drilled airplane tie down holes in the corners of the lip where two halves meet. The bottom of the carrier has a raised center area creating an approximately 2 inch border "moat" around the outer edge of the crate bottom that helps pool any fluids away from the dog should they be unable to control themselves on the scary flight. It does not come with a carry handle on the top of the carrier (it's too heavy to carry like that) but does have built in carry grips on the sides of the carrier. The camouflage color is actually subtle and not obnoxious at all. The bottom half is solid dark green. I am very pleased with the carrier and definitely recommend it for your pet transport needs.

Oh, the only down side. For travel purposes it does not come with food/water bowls, or required 'live animal' stickers. But those are easily found here on Amazon, or at your local pet store.

Couldn't be more pleased with this crate. Solid plastic. Good construction. Door works fine. Doesn't look bad.

My newly adopted pit bull went right in and made it her second home.

The Tinkle Bell - Bell Training for House Breaking Dogs - Black/Nickel

I love this set of bells. My Cavachon is slightly scared of them-with time he will know what to do. They are sturdy and look wonderful next to my back dook. Training a puppy takes time and I know that the bells will be used. He is actually trying to bite the lowest one (what he can reach) and I am confident that the bell will not come off and that he is trying to tell us something.

The quality of this bed is great and my cat would have loved it if only it was only 5 inches wider. She's average size (10 pounds) and could not fit in this bed comfortably. I tried to get her in and she fit in but she couldn't move at all and within a minute or two, she'd leave. I tried catnip as well but again, she'd leave within a minute. I returned the bed reluctantly because for the price paid, the bed should be in use. I so wish they made a bed just like this one but larger.

I purchased a number of different shapes and sizes of the Dog Gone Smart beds for our 7 cats and 2 dogs. All of them use and enjoy the rectangular and round beds (with and without sherpa tops although the sherpa tops are much preferred), however, only 1 out of our 7 cats liked this particular cat bed. In fact, she loves it! However, if you only have one cat for whom you are buying this cat bed, be aware that it might be hit or miss as to whether he/she uses it or not.

Neither of my cats will get in this bed. A lot smaller than it looks. Perhaps other cats like to curl up in the little space, but both of my cats prefer the 27" dog bed from this same manufacturer.

I bought this for my cat and he will use it from time to time but I think its a bit deep for him, kind of swallows him up. My westie uses it most of the time but I also have a 35 lb mutt that can twirl herself down into it., to see her do this is a hoot. One of the sides has gotton smooshed, no wonder Ive had it 2 years and both my dogs use it. Its got alot more life left in it and Im ordering another because both my dogs like it. The inner pillow removes for washing and the body has a zipper to unleash the tube full of stuffing, once removed the cover can also be washed. In time if the tube of stuffing becomes soiled or smelly you can always replace the stuffing from the tube. Please dont buy this for your 35 lb dog based on my review, I find it odd that mine uses it. Every critter is different, some may like it some wont but the quality of this bed is very good.

Exactly as advertised. This harness allows my dog to stand, sit, lie down or move on the backseat and still kept her from falling or slipping when a fast stop was necessary. Other harnesses we have tried were much too restrictive. It is easy to use, easy to adjust the size and very secure and well made.

Have had this a few weeks and used it multiple times with great success! This is super easy to fit and adjusted fine to our slim, 60 lb lab. It took some getting used to for her (she tried to chew it off), but we took her on a few walks in the harness and now she doesn't even notice it. The adjustable tether is nice because we can pick the length and give her the ability to sit or stand but not enough length to get into the front seat. I feel it restricts her but isn't so bulky or padded that she gets overheated. It is easy to wipe down and brush fur off of and very compact. I do recommend taking some time to get your dog used to wearing the harness so that you are not trying to discipline them or prevent them from chewing while driving. I had to pull over a few times the first day to get her to stop chewing on it and trying to get out of the harness, though she didn't do any damage to it which speaks to its durability. Straps DO need to be adjusted occasionally for proper fit. Was able to estimate the proper size harness with no trouble. Great product and would highly recommend it!

I had been looking at these harnesses for awhile now since they are the only one I have seen both recommended by the ASPCA as well as Safety Rated. The problem I was having is that my boy is an Old English sheepdog who runs about 115-120 pounds and I could not find any stores that carried the XL. When I found it on here I quickly ordered it. It came quickly and was just as described. The setup was easy and my dog does not mind the harness at all. He now wears it every time he is in the car and can comfortably sit as well as lay down but is more secured and now safe! I would definitely recommend it to others!

I have a tall, skinny standard poodle with long legs, and a skinny build that most harnesses do not fit. Medium is too small and large is too large. This is the one harness that actually adjusts to fit correctly, isn't a piece of plastic junk, and doesn't make my dog feel overheated with too much padding.

I have spent at least a couple of hundred dollars in harnesses that don't fit, while this one cost a lot less and fits very nicely.

I was excited to by this product because I have a very energetic and spoiled German short hair pointer that will keep trying to get on my lap in the car (I'm usually the passenger) .She is very powerful and knows that eventually I'll give up (she's also over 40lbs). I received this harness and I was happy to see that it fits pretty well and doesn't seem to bother her either. She was OK in the car until we stop somewhere were she really wanted to get out. It seem to be really easy for her to slip out of the harness, and she managed to do it two more times..I checked the harness afterwards, it didn't seem to get loosen so I'm wondering why it doesn't work..Is it the fact that she has a large chest compared with her head (still doesn't make sense since the harness goes over her legs also). I love this leash! I like that it is adjustable and I think the padded strap is super. I bought two ;)

This leash is a good width for handling a larger dog, and the handle is very comfortable. It has held up well against my dog pulling me down the street after squirrels :) My only complaint is that the clip is very heavy. It tends to weigh down the martingale collar I use and would probably hurt if it was banging into your dog as he walks. But the clip is definitely solid construction.

Very pleased with this leash/lead. Ordered two for hiking with my Huskies and I found the leashes to be very well made and extremely comfortable. The padded handle does not chafe and is very comfortable. The clip opens wide to accept large harness attachment loops, unlike others that I've ordered here on Amazon and subsequently returned. The length is ideal, keeps the pups close (larger dogs, mind you... 50+lbs), but out of the range of your feet at a hiking gait.
