I read the two comments about the PetSafe radio-controlled wireless fence system which uses RE-67 6v batteries and was completely puzzled by their reviews. So much so, I was compelled to give my review.

Firstly, I have been using the PetSafe RFA-67 batteries in my dog's collar for 5 1/2 years, and they never give out in just 2 weeks. Perhaps the person actually bought some other brand and wrote a review here? Over the years I have used them, they have consistently lasted 3-4 months each. I never remove them from my dog's collar and my transmitter is always left turned on. I do, however, only put the collar on my dog as I let him outside, and remove the collar when I let him back in the house.

Secondly, the collar has never just randomly shocked my dog. The only time time this could happen is if you were to load your dog inside your car while he is wearing the collar. The metal car blocks the signal so in essence it is as if your dog has moved outside his containment zone.

I think the PetSafe system is fabulous for situations like mine, when you have a large property that you want your dog to have partial access to and you don't want to dig out a trench to lay the wire.

We planned to train our dog to the system when he was 4 months old. In preparation for it, we never allowed him to go outside what would be the containment zone (so he was always on leash in our yard prior to training him to the PetSafe system).

We've been using this system for about 5 years for our lab and love it. We were able to fine-tune the settings so that we can keep him JUST where we want him he can't go past certain spots inside the house or outside. And we can change that area if needed. It's also extremely convenient that we can bring this along with us when we travel or he stays with my parents he knows by now exactly what the beeping means and figures out his new boundaries extremely quickly and is never shocked, even when in a new place with a new "safe zone". In fact, I don't think he's been shocked more than twice with this.

We now have another dog and will be buying a 2nd collar for him.

The one downside to this that we have noticed it seems that cars can affect the wireless radius. When we park our cars in different spots in the driveway sometimes it "pushes" the radius in. Again, the dog hears the beep and figures out his radius has changed though.

I don't normally do reviews but I felt as though I needed to speak up here. This unit has given our beagle harrier his freedom to run around in our yard. We live in a deed restricted community that only allows 3 ft high fences--which our dog could easily jump. Now with this fence, he knows his boundaries and stays in the yard. And when we had the old style in the ground fence, if he ran though the barrier, he would not want to come back for fear of being shocked again. With this unit, it actually encourages our dog to come back into the safe zone. He has only tested this once....chasing a bunny. As he left the safe area, I called him back. He turned back around, ran to me and learned that he could safely come home with no fear of being shocked. I have not had any problems with the batteries either. Ours usually last about 3 months before I have to change it. I buy them here on Amazon because they have the best prices around! It sounds like (in another review) that their actual collar may be malfunctioning. We did have to get a new collar for our dog because the clip broke. However, we did not have to get a new receiver (found on the collar). We just bought another regular collar and my husband attached the receiver to the new collar. Another bonus, my brother-in-law also has this wireless fence for his dog and when we go visit (3 hrs away), we only bring our collar and both dogs are free to run around his yard. (Our dog just follows the lead of their dog and somehow "knows" where the boundaries are.) Same goes for when they come visit us! This is the best wireless fence ever!

My dog is a stubborn puppy that is now contained to 180 ft area where he can run and play and just be a puppy. I had trouble with him running away to chase a squirrel or rabbit and getting distracted and not coming back. Or he would run away and jump on people walking by to greet them. With the fence we no longer have these problems. The training was very informative and we followed it as directed. However, level 3 didn't do a thing for our dog. He just shook his ears and kept on running. We had to keep retrieving him on leash and bringing him back into the containment area. He realized that after he ran thru the fence it would stop shocking him after a while and he would just keep on going but was scared of the noise because the collar keeps beeping. So we set it on level 5. He ran thru the fence again to chase a car then got shocked, he yelped pretty good this time, we took him back into the containment area and he NEVER tried it again! Now the sound is enough to detour him from running thru it. Even for a rabbit or squirrel he won't go past the fence. He is a happy puppy that can run, chase animals, dig and play in the creek but most importantly he is now SAFE! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Simply, this system is easy.......easy to put in place and easy to train the dogs. I have a 1 year old JR and a 10 year old Shepherd. Both had the basics down in two days and were trustworthy on it by the end of the week. We've been using it almost two months and I'm considering putting both their collars on tone only. The area the dogs have to roam in is actually quite large, I didn't visualize so much freedom for them. The older dog is having some problem relaxing in his new area and stays pretty close to the house but is slowly venturing further out. I also want to add that I had to call customer service once about the prongs for long haired dogs. She was helpful, courteous and had me set up quickly. So win win with this company/system.

Premier Sheepskin Squeeker Dog Toy

I have a 30 lb sheltie who loves to play tug-o-war. She's always running to her toy box to pick up this "fleece" tug toy to let me know she wants to play with me (this and her Coleman "bear rug" toy, her favorite tugs). She hops and tugs and shakes her end of the tug toy to her heart's content. She loves this tug so much that she'll simply hold onto one end while I hold the other end in one hand, and do chores with my free hand. It's like walking her around in the house with a leash, only it's a fleece tug in her mouth.

My dog is not a determined toy destroyer, thankfully. Also, she doesn't play with this toy on her own if I don't play with her.

This toy is long enough that it's actually better for my back, as I can hold onto my end while my knee-high sheltie grabs hold of the other end, and I don't have to bend over (I'm 5'9"). Each end has a squeaker, which still function after two months of play.

I'm glad I bought it! It gets daily play at my house, it's clearly one of my dog's Top Two favorites. I have other Premier toys and am very happy with their longevity and their design.

**UPDATE** I've now had this toy for 3 months, and neither of the squeakers work anymore. They can't be replaced, but I'm still glad I purchased this toy, my dog still loves it even though it doesn't squeak.

**UPDATE #2** I bought a second tug toy, and this one had its long seam come undone within the first day. Manufacturing defect, pleh. My girl and boy shelties still play with the first, older tug toy, it has holes in it that I put kibble in to add renewed interest to the toy.

Good quality alternative to the very similar ones sold in pet stores for a lot more money. On sale, they are a great bargain.

I have owned several remote training dog collars, so I have some grasp of what's out there.

First, this thing uses COMMON ALKALINE BATTERIES!! YAY! No having to scour the planet or order weird specialty button batteries, no rechargeable system that doesn't last. The controller uses a 9v battery and the receiver uses 2 AAA batteries. Simple.

The transmitter/controller is fine, but it has a telescoping metal antenna that I know I will eventually bend or break. Works fine for now, though. Another interesting feature of the controller is it has an LED flashlight in the end of it. You aren't going to signal in a 747 for landing, but the light is handy for me as I walk my dogs late at night sometimes. The controller also has a button for a sort of "whistle" sound, which I think is a little silly.

The BEST feature of this unit is that you can use electric shock correction, but you can also use vibration! This works great and I use it almost exclusively.

The one real downside of this unit is the level of electronic shock is NOT adjustable, and it is pretty strong. Thank goodness the vibration function works well or I probably wouldn't use this unit because the shock correction is just too powerful.

All in all, you can't beat this thing for $20.

I have used several training aides, with very little success, on a very stubborn Blue Healer with selective hearing. After reading the reviews on this products, I felt it was worth a try, especially for the price. This trainer produced more results in 15 minutes than all of the others put together. Now that I have her attention, all I need to use is the whistle or vibrate function on the remote, and she is 100% attentive. There is no more wandering off and ignoring commands to come to me. She is a different dog. I really like the fact that I did not have to shave her neck, as other products require. The collar is still very effective without being overly snug.I would, and have recommended this item to friends. Great product!

SO......I got this collar as a means of breaking my dogs barking problem. I liked that it had the vibration or shock option. The noise option is a joke but I hadn't planned on really utilizing that one. My only complaint is that the shock seems to be a little strong. I felt it before putting it on my dog so I would know how strong it was. The first time I shocked her, she jumped 3 feet in the air and screamed and cried. The second time, it wasn't as dramatic. The good news: She doesn't bark anymore if she's got her collar on. Overall, it gets the job done. For the price, you really can't beat it.

I purchased this for a cat that I love so much, but just cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry....on and on...sometimes for hours!!!!

Plenty of food. Litter box clean. Pet him but CONSTANT attention needed.

I use the vibrate only. I do not want him zapped. PERIOD.

I only zapped him once, and that was enough to get his attention. Outside of that, when I say STOP, and he doesn't, I just vibrate him and he stops his crying.

It has been a life saver for me. And he is not experiencing any type of depression or isolation that I read on other websites that could occur if I used something like this on him.

He knows when he can meow, when he is playing or horsing around with the other cat. When he is just sitting there and nothing is going on, I say STOP, and if he doesn't, I vibrate him and he gets quite.

Again, this device is not intended to be used as punishment. Don't use it just to use it. And do not use it to play games. Be firm about your intentions of what you are trying to accomplish, speak and say "NO" first. If you don't, I will believe you will have a very depressed cat.

I had purchased the Rascal Dog smaller box design for my little Yorkie and I love how easy the box is to clean. I purchased the bigger size (Big Squirt) for my mom. She has three dogs, a toy poodle, a Maltese, and a Yorkie so I bought her the bigger size litter box since three dogs would be using it. My mom was spending a fortune in wee wee pads for her dogs so I surprised my mom and bought the big box for her. I purchased the large size box because I have two doxies. They began using it within two days all on their own. It was great! However, I have found that this litter box is truly high-maintenance. I clean it just about every other day. It is very awkward to clean and for this past week, the dogs stopped using it. I think it's because they don't like the smell. I have been using antibacterial dish soap and that was OK until this week. I tried the scent spray that came with it to put a familiar odor back for them, but still they do their jobs on the carpet. My carpet is a mess because of the pee and poo outside of it. And my room stinks, something it never did with the potty pads (puppy training pads). I have tried leaving the grass carpet out of it but, they refuse to stand on the grid. We're going to keep trying to turn them around. It's a good product and an alternative to going out on cold snowy days, but it's not working too well for us right now. Cleaning it is still the big issue.

I had looked all over for a canine litter box for my Chinese crested and found this to be the perfect match. It is expensive, but it is well made and versatile. I ordered this product straight from the manufacturer over a year ago (when it was TWICE the price), and although it is a well-made product, it just didn't work for us at all. As others have mentioned, although my pup started using it right away, he subsequently stopped (after about a week) because the thing began to STINK. The grass was almost impossible to clean. When I would wash it (which was DAILY), the grass kept falling out all over the tub, and then it would take FOREVER to dry, so it would still be somewhat damp (and still stinky) when I put it pack in the holder. I eventually took the grass out and tried putting just the pad in there, but my dog had been so turned off at that point, he just refused to go back in. Believe it or not, just using the wee wee pad, flat on the floor, has been most effective for us. He is 100% good about only peeing on the pad, but he does sometimes have overspill. Which is why I had bought this thing in the first place, but Oh, well.

I recently purchased the "large" cat sack, with rear zipper access, directly from Four Flags Over Aspen. The service rep I spoke with stated the large size accommodates cats from 10-15 lbs. Their web site states size large is for cats 8-13 lbs. -Our cat's normal weight is between 10-11 lbs; he has a medium to large frame. It was quite a struggle getting him into the sack the first time, and the process stressed him out. Once he was securely inside, we were able to administer his medication. I suggest putting a bit of catnip into the sack, and perhaps "sizing up", based on your cat's weight and frame.

We Bought this because our German Shepard / husky puppy was out of control, no matter what we did to train her, this was a last resort. This has been the best purchase ever, since starting her on a shock collar in May 2012, she has only been shocked 3x, the vibrate button scares her enough. We used to NOT be able to open the front door without her knocking over who ever was there to bolt and after being shocked 1x she doesnt do it anymore. The product was easy enough to understand, i wish the remote was a little smaller but all in all, very wise investment.

I've had this product for over a year. It works about half the time. Pretty difficult when you're trying to train your dog. I've changed the battery in the remote and made sure that the device is charged. I also make sure that it's fit snug on my dog to make sure there is contact. I've tried to look up troubleshooting for this product, but all you get is Amazon's website to sale it. You can't even call a "Plexon" company to ask for troubleshooting assistance. Not very consumer friendly, if you ask me.

My dog responds right away to the lowest shock setting (1) so I have never felt the need to use a higher voltage. Our dog also knows that the vibration setting is a warning and will stop doing whatever she is doing as soon as we use that setting. We have only had to shock our dog about 8 times in almost a year.

I bought this hoping to use the vibrate button followed by the low shock button for training purposes (eventually just the vibration would be enough to stop the behavior). Unfortunately the vibration button had no effect what so ever on my Am Staff terrier, she didn't even seem to feel it, while the lowest shock setting terrorized her and sent her screaming. If you truly want to train your dog using a shock collar opt for a more expensive one, as the other reviews I've read seem to indicate that you will get what you pay for (I did.)

We love, love, love our collar. I "wrestled" with the idea of purchasing this item because we did not want to harm our five month old GSD's spirit. It Works Amazing. No strain on us when walking our very strong Pitty Bull. Why is the product being discontinued?!!!

I love this leash. Now when my dog pulls, its almost as if she bounces back into place when I pull back. I find that the leash amplifies my "corrections" when trying to get my dog to heal.

My dog is an epic leash biter, and at 2 years old I am still working on getting that under control. She does not like to bite the rubber part of the leash (yes!).

The leash has been durable, and easy to clean (washing machine :). The latching mechanism that attaches the leash to the collar has stood up to lots of mud and sand and still works great, I find it easier that the usually leash clips.

For walks, I find that my dog is not able to jerk my arm and pull me as easily as before, and after a long walk I do not have the same neck and back pain that I used to have. It has made walks more enjoyable.

I would buy this leash again and I think it is worth every dollar that I have spent on it.

Simple Solution Potty Training Aid 16oz

After seeing some of the earlier reviews I was a bit skeptical about this product. I got it anyway because it was only $6 and if it works cool and if not then whatever, I'll just go back to what I was doing before. Yorkies are notorious for being difficult to housebreak. With this, and earlier reviews, in mind I really didn't have high expectations. The first time we took her out and sprayed she went right away! I've had it for a week now and everyday she goes when I spray it and has started to go without me spraying. This worked for me. While she doesn't go in the exact spot that I sprayed she will sniff the area and then about 30-45 seconds to 1 minute later relieve herself.

Simple Solutions is a good brand, but this product is a huge FAIL! i would spray the area where i wanted my dog to use the bathroom & instead of going to the spot, it seemed like he would avoid it. When he did go over to the spot, he would lick the sprayed area. As far as training my dog, it didn't work for me.

I can't say that this works on training pads because I don't use them to potty train my dogs, but I have been using it on my PupPad (the artificial grass potty training pad), and the spray seems to work in conjunction with the pad. I've washed the PupPad numerous times, so the original "dog pee scent" has been washed away, and after spraying the pad again with this spray, my 5 month old puppy knows to go potty on it. I haven't tested it on any other training pads, so I can't say that it works 100%. It does seem to work on the artificial grass though.

I love this collar, I also have a bigger size for one of my other dogs. It's a great color, and the martingale is perfect. I like having the added control when walking that the maringale provides, but also know the amount of tightening is restricted so it won't cause any damage to my pet's windpipe like traditional slip leads/choke collars. The ONLY thing that would make this collar better would be a clip for easy on/off and emergencies. Overall: great product, great value, highly recommended!

I followed the instructions exactly for measuring my dog as stated on the site. I ordered this collar to match a Premier tracking harness. The collar I received was entirely too large and could not be adjusted enough to fit. Since the shipping charges were more than the merchandise, I will not return it since I would have to pay a 15% re-stocking fee and an additional charge to return it. I will give it to someone with a much, much larger dog. Just wasted $9.72 and still don't have a collar.

This is a great product. It securely holds the standard size piddle pad, and keeps them from moving around on the floor. I can put severaly pads on the holder at once, and simply remove the top pad once my Pomeranian pees. Worth the price!

My 1 year old Schnoodle is pottypad trained. I won't go into the boring details, but due to circumstances, this was and is the only option for his pottying needs. I started with the standard pottypad holder, first the small size when we brought him home, graduating to the large size as he grew. Over time he started getting lazy and I would catch him just putting his front paws on the pad, which meant that he was missing the pad entirely. Then I found the Rascal Dog Litter Box and I knew that was the answer. I have had it for 2 months and it does everything it claims to do. Not only does my puppy step right up on to the tray every time, but on the rare occasion that he lifts a leg, the sides keep the urine contained and from getting on the floor or wall. I never write reviews but this product was so horrible compared to what I had expected. The description states "White skid resistant barrier"

This pad slips all over the place and when our dog steps in and out of the whelping box it slides all the way up the sides and bunches up. So I never really even tried to see if it would absorb anything since it poses a danger to our dog and pups. The first danger is our dog sliding on the mat, on the way in or out and possibly falling on the pups or crushing them as she slides, the other danger would be the pups getting raveled in the mat since it bunches up so easily.

These pads are nice quality for the price. They do become saturated much quicker than disposable pads. These would be good for travel like when I take my dogs with me to the in-laws. The brown hides the stains better. If you want to use these full time, I would buy one for each day of the week especially with bigger dogs.

I immediately noticed that the stains spread much quicker across the pad. With disposable pads, the stain pretty much stays where she leaves it. With this, the stain spreads across the pad in a larger space than the original stain. Keep in mind I have Chihuahuas so I think with bigger dogs they would need to be changed daily.

So overall this is a decent product but not as absorbent as disposable pads. I would use it either for travel or to put under regular pads in case the dog misses the pad when she goes. These are not a disposable pad replacement.

I use this brand and also the Poochpad brand. They both seem excellent and have made things so much easier for me. EZWhelp pads are less expensive than Poochpads. So far, both brands work equally well. Have had them both only a few weeks, so will have to report back later regarding longterm durability. EZwhelp pads are softer than Poochpads.

I LOVE these whelping box liners!! I bought these to replace the Drymate whelping box liner I bought a few years ago). I breed Bernese Mountain Dogs, and so I have big litters, with very big puppies. I bought three of these pads at the same time, so that I could have two clean ones while one was in the whelping box. I would wash these pads at least once a day, and they held up to the washer like a charm! Not only do they handle multiple washes in the washer extremely well, they hold up very well to a big litter of puppies that pee alot. It is extremely waterproof, durable, and sturdy. I love love love this product! Any breeder would greatly benefit from these pads.

I now have six of these whelping pads. I breed Standard Poodles and these pads are wonderful. They wash easily, clean up great. I used to use old sheets and they would bunch up the puppies would crawl under them and they were not absorbant. These pads rarely move and are very absorbant. Highly recommend them for use in whelping beds, crates, etc.

The collar will fit a very large dog. The remote is small & has a nicely lit display that is helpful in low light. The collar has a small led light on it that blinks when its on and stays lit when you are activating the stumulus. I have a boxer & had to trim the collar to fit her. I had bought an invisible fence but the dog blew threw that in a hurry. The dogtra training collar had an immediate effect. It is not cruel and you can set the intensity to fit the dogs response. It does not burn or "shock" the dog as you would think. This model will go to 127 but the most I've used is 50. Most of the time the vibrate warning is all i need to get her attention. It is waterproof but i wouldn't recommend the dog swimming with it on due to the cost. My dog took a swim in a muddy pond & the collar was fine. I would recommend this to anyone. If you take the time to teach your dog basic commands then the collar is a wonderful tool to supplement. My dog is not scared of it and comes to have it put on her to go outside. It took 2 days and she came immediately when called. I will purchase again for future dogs.

I purchased this to replace a 200 model. It works just as well but not any better than the previous model in that you can always follow the arrows to find your dog but the compass seems to have trouble staying oriented to the north. I am needing to recalibrate often the so called 3rd axis where you can read it with it vertical is no better than the old one. All in all if you need a dog location device the Garmin Astros are the best on the market but save some money and get the previous model. If you are like me and had an older model the upgrade is not worth it wait for another upgrade.

I purchased this product to put on my beagles. It is a little bulky and Garmin has had some issues with the antenna and signal strength.

The birdseye imagery (which is what makes this unit awesome) really sucks because of the download speed cap. It is so frustrating it makes me not like the actual product a little bit.

Signal loss is a huge issue!! For advertising 13 miles with the extended antenna only consitently delivering 1 to 2 miles is really a crappy thing to do. I did get one read in perfect conditions standing on a mountain at 4.14 miles but that was only for a second and then it quit.

Still its an ABOVE average GPS stand alone system with lots of capabilities and keeping track of dogs is really easy even if the bulky makes iit difficult for the dogs.

Worth every penny to keep the dogs safe and be able to use topo maps and birdseye with it makes it fun to use as well.

PS. FOR 600 BUCKS MAPS SHOULD BE FREE!!! when you first get the unit you have nothing at all unless you spend hundreds more on maps or buy birdseye..

This item is perfect without the map downloaded! Even better when you do download the topo map of your choice. This tracker is worth the money. Have seen other trackers that cost just as much or more that do not have the features the Garmin does. There is just no comparison. Could not see myself hunting without it now.

I finally bought this product on sale at REI after I (for not the first time) lost track of my husky, but this time he ended up following someone home and nearly ended up at Animal Control. I employed my tracking dog to find him, and didbut it was a bad situation. I thought I wouldn't need to pay so much $$ for a collar, and could train him to come when called or avoid losing sight of him, but things happen out in the woods, and I finally decided to spend the money I am so glad I did.

I currently only have one collar which I use on my widest ranging dogmy husky. I uploaded free maps from the orienteering club and state websites and have detailed maps of our normal running routes and mountain hikes. The GPS tracks great, I especially like the symbols of a running, sitting, and treeing dog. I can tell when my dog is running, which direction he is going, and what he is doingrunning, standing or "treeing quarry" (which happens when they find a moose). This means I am able to call the dogs off whatever they are bothering, without needing to see what they are doing in person. I can also call my dog back if he goes down the wrong trail or I want to turn around, and then know when he has turned around. My husky loves to lead the way, and this puts me at ease, letting him run a bit free-er in safe areas.

The range on the signal isn't so great in the mountains, but I will carry the extended antennae next time and see how that works. I know that the signal will be lost no matter what antenna I am using if my dog ends up on one side of a mountain ridge and me on another, but at least I'll know where to start looking, and can get high enough to get a signal if I need to. In the mountains, I tend to lose a signal if the dog gets over a mile away. In the woods, he can be about 2 miles off and I have still been able to track him.

Keep in mind, pet owners, that the collar does not control the dog, it just tracks him. There is nothing I can do, if he can't hear me, to get him back if he is heading toward a road. It is great for wide open spaces and allows me to give my happy runner freedom to explore, but it does not have an e-collar feature like the newest "Alpha". I may upgrade to the Alpha at some point if and when I decide I need an e-collar.

The collar is a bit bulky, especially with the antenna hanging off the side, but my dog doesn't seem to mind at all. He is 80 lbs, but the collar also didn't bother my 55 lb dog. It seems like the device on the collar could be a bit smaller, but it's held together great, in rain, snow, and sub-0 temperatures. My dog has probably covered 2,000 miles of running using the collar and no problems so far. So despite its bulk, the collar appears to be well constructed.

Battery life on the collar seems greatnever had a problem and I put it on the charger when I am not using it. The GPS has lost power after about 6 hours of use, but I can carry additional double-A batteries on longer trips to take care of this. If we go out on a really long trip, like an extended backpacking journey, it will be a shame to not have a way of charging or replacing batteries on the collar. I am not sure if this is possible, although remote solar may do the trick. Another option to save battery is to have a longer amount of delay between readings. I haven't tried this yet, but will weigh in if I try this.

The screen on the GPS is hard to read. Lower quality than say, and iphone or e-reader. It can be annoying to see in the dark (it's dark here all winter) but it works and I haven't had it effect my ability to track my dog. Also, the Astro would be absolutely less useful if I didn't have the detailed trail maps. Without the maps, I don't know if my dog is on or off trail, where he is running to, or how best to get to him. So, you will need to go online and search or pay for topo maps to get the best use out of this (already expensive) tool.

One of the funnest parts of this device is to look at the dog's track and my track after a run. My dog usually runs at least 1 mile more than me, sometimes a whole lot more. You also can see the dog's thought process as he runs the woods off trail. Dogs have an amazing sense of direction.

All in all, this purchase has paid for itself already in lost time and energy worrying about my dog and calling him. Often, when I would think he is "lost" he is actually quite close, running a different route. That is how I used to lose track of him sometimes, turning around to look for a dog that was actually in front of me already.

I don't want to promote irresponsible pet ownership with the product, but for those of us with huskies or similar dogs who like to wander a bit, it is very useful. I think you will find that your dog is actually keeping pretty good track of you, he just doesn't show himself real often. For me, it has been a purchase I would make again, and I may buy another collar for my youngest dog, just for peace of mind. Great product, and works as intended.

First of all, I coon hunt 5 nights a week. The astro 320 is not smaller than the 220, it gobbles up name brand batteries. It loses signal when dogs get out to about 900 hundred yards where I hunt and the 220 side by side picks back up better , the 320 stays stuck while dogs are getting hundreds of yards away. I have to keep recalibrating the compass, I recommend the 220 with the dc40 collars. The maps should be free, I have had trouble with the map card staying place and also the back cover on the 320. Take my advice, the astro 320 does not out perform the 220 besides the birdseye view.

ANTI BARK STOP BARKING ELECTRIC SHOCK DOG TRAINING COLLAR

We have a dog who was barking non stop from sunup to sunset and now it is quiet and we love it

I purchased two of these collars and was very surprised to find the metal stems to be about an inch long. There's no way you can tighten the collar against a dog's neck without impaling his/her neck! Fortunately, I had purchased a different collar with shorter metal stems and switched them over.

The good part about the collars-they work on my stubborn territorial terriers. The warning sound is all it takes now for either of them to stop barking and just watch anyone who walks past the house. We are still working on staying quit when the "wicked neighbor lady" is out in her yard. ;)

My advice--if you have smaller dogs like mine (18-25 lbs), you should find a source for for shorter metal shock stems.

I was pretty skeptical about it being as cheap as it was. However it works and does what it is suppose to do. I don't really think it is the best Training collar on the market, it detecting barking is probably the only feature worth mentioning. How the collar works: Dog Barks.. Collar beeps loud.. Dog Barks when in 30 seconds of the first bark.. Collar beeps loud this time longer.. Dog barks again with in 30 seconds of the second bark.. Collar Gives a slight shock for about 5 seconds. It will continue to shock if the dog continues to bark within 30 seconds of the second bark. I don't recommend this if your god gets smart and figures out that its okay to bark a little... It will not eliminate barking, just make him/her bark less. If that is what you are looking for then this collar is for you! The sensitivity of the barking detecting is actually pretty good only went off a couple times while my dog was scratching. That is adjustable though, and for those wondering: The Collar does not give a very powerful shock, nothing I wouldn't do to myself in my opinion its harmless.

This collar may be okay, if only the battery had fit the battery compartment. Poorly engineered. On the positive side, the snap collar is awesome...i took the shocker off an old collar and fixed it to this collar and it is super easy to take on and off.
