I got a new puppy for the first time a few months ago. He's small and we live in an apartment, was not yet potty-trained, so I needed to get him some puppy pads. I initially picked up a dozen for about ten to fifteen dollars at a local store in the midst of doing my original supply run in anticipation of my baby.

These pads are MORE ABSORBENT than the ones I got originally, which actually had the Arm n Hammer name on them. They are incredibly cheap relative to most other pads. No need to buy the expensive ones, even considering shipping costs. Great product.

I use this for my dog when we go out. This way she stays close. Shes not a bad chewer, just when very bored. She mostly pulls at it because its not long enough for her to lay down when I have it clipped somewhere like a shopping cart. The leash works well for what its designed to dohowever I think it needs to be noted that my dog has left tooth impressions on the leash.

I did contact the company about making a custom length as I felt a leash that was a few inches longer would be better. They said they would make it but would charge the price of a full length leash. As each leash is "hand made" I thought this was excessive since they would just cut it longer.

We have a big dog, I mean BIG. He chews through everything. He kept destroying leashes so I got one of these. He definitely cannot chew through this and if he eventually does it will be a long time from now and definitely worth the cost.

This lead is extremely strong and rather stiff. Will have to walk the dog for a while to loosen it up, but it should work for show purposes. Snap is very firm and feels secure. Ring at the handle end is convenient -I can use a toggle to connect the lead to just about anywhere.

I ordered this lead because it was the best deal I could find on Amazon. The lead is made of a decent leather that seems to hold together well. I have used it for one month now in dog obedience school, and it has help up. I would note the brass clip is rather cheap and hard to get onto the dogs collar. Overall, I would order this brand again.

Only one small issue but I got that figured out. To get the transmitter to charge you have to put the transmitter in the cradle and then push it back to make it 'click' into place to connect. It took me a little bit to get this figured out. The instructions only say to ensure you hear a "positive click." Once you get that squared away, it charges quickly and holds a charge for several days (depending on use, I'm sure).

It works great if you have multiple dogs (up to 6).

You can adjust the intensity of the stimulation, but it isn't as easy as some of the other Tri-Tronics models.

Some of them you can press one button for light stimulation and another button for more stimulation. Both buttons for max stimulation on the specific level selected.

This unit doesn't work like that. Three buttons and one switch. each button controls one of three collars. Flip the switch and control another three collars. Stimulation dial is on top (level 1 6). This is NOT a bad unit and I use it daily. Just not what I was expecting. But that was my fault for not reading up on it enough.

Battery life is fantastic and training video that comes with it is great.

This is great for behavior modification. I agree that this collar has a lot of power and should be used responsibly, so contact your dog trainer for instruction on its use. Tri Tronics does provide great inst on its use though. I do not like how big the receiver and transmitter are, but this collar does work for my dog whereas Dogtra was not enough for him.

I bought this harness after reading the awesome reviews from other dog owners who had 100+ lb dogs with the intention of using it for both walking and running. The first day after our first short jog I noticed a line of matted fur where the bottom strap goes across his belly. I figured maybe being a new strap it just irrated the area a little so we used his regular neck leash for walks the rest of the day. The next day after our jog when I took off the harness and hung it up I noticed him licking the bottom strap. After taking a closer look at it I realized it was blood. Obviously I immediately examined his belly and found that the strap had rubbed his skin so raw that his was bleeding all the way across his belly in the exact size and shape where the bottom strap was.

I've never had any problem like this with any other harness. My dog is completely normal with no sensitivity issues and the harness was definitely put on correctly and not too tight. I'm not a marathon runner or anything and these were both short 2-3 mile slow jogs so it's not like I ran so long that it was bound to happen.

This is going to be my first item ever returning with Amazon so I don't know how easy that process will be but I recommend saving yourself the time and pain your dog could possibly go through and maybe explore other harness options.

I bought this harness for my 2.5 year old Newfoundland who is about 165 lbs. We both absolutely love this harness. It is built very well: strong and sturdy. It also looks very sharp on him.

It is not a harness meant to reduce pulling while walking, but I use it for when he is on a long lead outside. Having a D ring on the top of the harness has seemed to help in keeping him from tangling the rope up in his legs. I will definitely be buying another if this one ever gives out.

It seems to be very comfortable for him and I have not noticed any rubbing or chaffing on him from wearing it. It also has more room for a larger dog of needed, which would be very few breeds.

The comfort for your pet is obvious when you use the harness. For the price (under $10), the quality is what you'd expect, though I see no reason why it shouldn't last a while. I use the harness with a 24 lbs. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, the larger of the small-breed dogs. The medium harness (for 19-22 inch chest) fits perfectly, but can also be adjusted easily for slightly smaller or larger dogs.

You can try to search the web for honest feedback about the Comfy Control Harness. but you'll find mostly negative comments and complaints regarding the company who advertises it on TV; not feedback about the harness itself. You would think people would know better than to fall for these too-good-to-be-true' offers "as seen on TV", but so many go for it ... and fall into the money pit of sleezey business practices these companies use when you buy direct. But Amazon is not that kind of operation, and not the place to complain about your misfortune when buying a product elsewhere. Amazon deals with reputable sources so this kind of thing won't happen.

I saw the TV commercial and went to the web site. There was no real information on the correct sizing, chest measurement and weight. I went all the way to shipping and credit card info and decided to go back to see if there was anymore info on sizing. I never clicked to order it and the shipping and price was very deceiving. BUYER BEWARE!! This product is NOT made for a medium to large dog. I ordered a large for my 45lb border collie and it does not fit at all. The sizing chart lists a very large dog, like a great dane, wearing the x-large. I'm afraid to re-order the x-large and I won't b/c the material does not seem like it would hold up for large dogs. It is mostly made of mesh which looks like it would tear easlily at the seams when pulled on. It is def geared for the smaller dog. Secondly, I made the mistake of buying this product from it's website. It would not be worth my time, gas money and return postage to send it back b/c the the overbloated shipping and handling fee is only $5 less than the product itself! (16.98 sh 11.98). I am using this as a fence between the kitchen and living room which is too wide for a regular gate. This is more economical as well. I have a small dog and he stays put. The pen is short enough that we can step over it. I can fold up portions to fit my needs. I have also folded it and used it as a gate for a door when I need to confine the dog to "HIS" room. (He has doggy door, ramp, 2 level dog house and air conditioning) To use this as a pen outside I would want to anchor it with tent stakes or something. First, let me preface this with the fact that we love our cats dearly and work hard to provide them with every comfort known to man including heated beds, an automatic laser pointer that provides hours of fun and catnip filled mice that find their way out from under the couch and other furniture from time to time. We don't, however, love pet hair and hairballs on our furniture. Recently we purchased a new sofa and resorted to draping a sheet over it while at work the first few days. Arriving home to find a couch draped in a bed sheet is not a way of life for us, so we looked at other options and found this device. I was skeptical based on the reviews here but purchased one to test.

You can set "sensitivity" to low or high. When set to high the device sometimes goes off with as little as heavy footsteps = perfect.

Had I had my video camera on when one of our cats attempted to find a soft spot to curl up in (other than the heated bed he loved so dearly until the couch came into his life), I'd have uploaded a video review of a cat in full backflip followed by a panicked exit from the room that entailed one wall collision and a flurry of pet fur.

I have had my tattle tale for over a couple of years now. I had a problem with my dog getting on my bed during the day while I was away at work. If I was home she would hang out with me, I don't allow my dog to sit on my furniture. This thing worked from day one and I have recommended it to friends who now have multiple. We just bought a new sofa and want to keep the dog off of it, so I bought another one. This thing could be more sensitive, but it is sensitive enough for my dog, 65 lbs. It will go off if I toss a shirt down on my bed nearby, that seems sensitive enough to me. The sound is merely annoying, it isn't an alarm just a loud piercing beeeeep. If you have a medium to large size dog I suggest trying it out. One more suggestion use it on a "cushiony" surface for best results, a hard surface won't move as the dog does. So if you are trying to keep a cat off of a table this won't do much unless the cat goes near it. I don't think it actually senses motion, it needs to be lightly jostled to go off. A good product though.

We bought two of these to keep our boxer off the counters & the furniture. We have a problem that when our birds chirp, it sets off the alarms. The alarms set off the birds, and over & over... The training alarm does work, but we found that our dog would carry them outside through the dog door and leave them outside. We caught him in the act of trying to bury it while the alarm kept resetting itself. It was pretty funny. It didn't work for us, but I think it would for a dog that doesn't like loud noises. Doesn't seem to affect ours though.

I've had these collars on two dogs for over five years now and agree wholeheartedly with those who think Innotek designed the batteries to fail as close to the warranty expiration as possible. With the exception of one battery which lasted about three years--every other one failed within eight to eighteen months.

My small dogs (16 and 20 pounds) have accepted their Innotek collars and the system enables them to freely roam our property. The device itself is small and streamlined but I had to retrofit smaller straps on the receivers because both dogs looked like they were caught in a trap. :)

(I just checked Innotek's website and now people are complaining about a new flimsy collar-strap design that unbuckles easily--go figure). I have several old straps lying around if anyone wants to pay shipping.

It's time to shop for another collar--the latest lasted one year and two weeks. Come on Innotek, with today's battery technology and your exorbitant pricing; these batteries should last at least five years!

I have this Innotek system for about a year. So far I have gone through 3 collars and now I need a forth. Fotunately, they are all under warranty but after a few months they simply quit working. Hopefully at sme point soon, the folks at innotek will solve the quality problems.

I purchased the 5200 system for a hound that would keep digging out. The 5200 is nice as it has the remote and also beeps before it shocks. It works but the battery life between charges is terrible. Less than a week. I needed a new collar and bought this one. Unfortunately this collar is very cheaply made and nowhere near the quality of the original. Also, what it doesn't tell you is that this collar does not have the beep function. So if you are used to using the remote to gently persuade your dogs this one doesn't. The same with linking collars to "A" and "B" on the remote. Overall I think the innotek 5200 has been a disappointment and will look for other manufacturers when it's time for a new one.

I purchased this to replace a 200 model. It works just as well but not any better than the previous model in that you can always follow the arrows to find your dog but the compass seems to have trouble staying oriented to the north. I am needing to recalibrate often the so called 3rd axis where you can read it with it vertical is no better than the old one. All in all if you need a dog location device the Garmin Astros are the best on the market but save some money and get the previous model. If you are like me and had an older model the upgrade is not worth it wait for another upgrade.

I purchased this product to put on my beagles. It is a little bulky and Garmin has had some issues with the antenna and signal strength.

The birdseye imagery (which is what makes this unit awesome) really sucks because of the download speed cap. It is so frustrating it makes me not like the actual product a little bit.

Signal loss is a huge issue!! For advertising 13 miles with the extended antenna only consitently delivering 1 to 2 miles is really a crappy thing to do. I did get one read in perfect conditions standing on a mountain at 4.14 miles but that was only for a second and then it quit.

Still its an ABOVE average GPS stand alone system with lots of capabilities and keeping track of dogs is really easy even if the bulky makes iit difficult for the dogs.

Worth every penny to keep the dogs safe and be able to use topo maps and birdseye with it makes it fun to use as well.

PS. FOR 600 BUCKS MAPS SHOULD BE FREE!!! when you first get the unit you have nothing at all unless you spend hundreds more on maps or buy birdseye..

This item is perfect without the map downloaded! Even better when you do download the topo map of your choice. This tracker is worth the money. Have seen other trackers that cost just as much or more that do not have the features the Garmin does. There is just no comparison. Could not see myself hunting without it now.

I finally bought this product on sale at REI after I (for not the first time) lost track of my husky, but this time he ended up following someone home and nearly ended up at Animal Control. I employed my tracking dog to find him, and didbut it was a bad situation. I thought I wouldn't need to pay so much $$ for a collar, and could train him to come when called or avoid losing sight of him, but things happen out in the woods, and I finally decided to spend the money I am so glad I did.

I currently only have one collar which I use on my widest ranging dogmy husky. I uploaded free maps from the orienteering club and state websites and have detailed maps of our normal running routes and mountain hikes. The GPS tracks great, I especially like the symbols of a running, sitting, and treeing dog. I can tell when my dog is running, which direction he is going, and what he is doingrunning, standing or "treeing quarry" (which happens when they find a moose). This means I am able to call the dogs off whatever they are bothering, without needing to see what they are doing in person. I can also call my dog back if he goes down the wrong trail or I want to turn around, and then know when he has turned around. My husky loves to lead the way, and this puts me at ease, letting him run a bit free-er in safe areas.

The range on the signal isn't so great in the mountains, but I will carry the extended antennae next time and see how that works. I know that the signal will be lost no matter what antenna I am using if my dog ends up on one side of a mountain ridge and me on another, but at least I'll know where to start looking, and can get high enough to get a signal if I need to. In the mountains, I tend to lose a signal if the dog gets over a mile away. In the woods, he can be about 2 miles off and I have still been able to track him.

Keep in mind, pet owners, that the collar does not control the dog, it just tracks him. There is nothing I can do, if he can't hear me, to get him back if he is heading toward a road. It is great for wide open spaces and allows me to give my happy runner freedom to explore, but it does not have an e-collar feature like the newest "Alpha". I may upgrade to the Alpha at some point if and when I decide I need an e-collar.

The collar is a bit bulky, especially with the antenna hanging off the side, but my dog doesn't seem to mind at all. He is 80 lbs, but the collar also didn't bother my 55 lb dog. It seems like the device on the collar could be a bit smaller, but it's held together great, in rain, snow, and sub-0 temperatures. My dog has probably covered 2,000 miles of running using the collar and no problems so far. So despite its bulk, the collar appears to be well constructed.

Battery life on the collar seems greatnever had a problem and I put it on the charger when I am not using it. The GPS has lost power after about 6 hours of use, but I can carry additional double-A batteries on longer trips to take care of this. If we go out on a really long trip, like an extended backpacking journey, it will be a shame to not have a way of charging or replacing batteries on the collar. I am not sure if this is possible, although remote solar may do the trick. Another option to save battery is to have a longer amount of delay between readings. I haven't tried this yet, but will weigh in if I try this.

The screen on the GPS is hard to read. Lower quality than say, and iphone or e-reader. It can be annoying to see in the dark (it's dark here all winter) but it works and I haven't had it effect my ability to track my dog. Also, the Astro would be absolutely less useful if I didn't have the detailed trail maps. Without the maps, I don't know if my dog is on or off trail, where he is running to, or how best to get to him. So, you will need to go online and search or pay for topo maps to get the best use out of this (already expensive) tool.

One of the funnest parts of this device is to look at the dog's track and my track after a run. My dog usually runs at least 1 mile more than me, sometimes a whole lot more. You also can see the dog's thought process as he runs the woods off trail. Dogs have an amazing sense of direction.

All in all, this purchase has paid for itself already in lost time and energy worrying about my dog and calling him. Often, when I would think he is "lost" he is actually quite close, running a different route. That is how I used to lose track of him sometimes, turning around to look for a dog that was actually in front of me already.

I don't want to promote irresponsible pet ownership with the product, but for those of us with huskies or similar dogs who like to wander a bit, it is very useful. I think you will find that your dog is actually keeping pretty good track of you, he just doesn't show himself real often. For me, it has been a purchase I would make again, and I may buy another collar for my youngest dog, just for peace of mind. Great product, and works as intended.

First of all, I coon hunt 5 nights a week. The astro 320 is not smaller than the 220, it gobbles up name brand batteries. It loses signal when dogs get out to about 900 hundred yards where I hunt and the 220 side by side picks back up better , the 320 stays stuck while dogs are getting hundreds of yards away. I have to keep recalibrating the compass, I recommend the 220 with the dc40 collars. The maps should be free, I have had trouble with the map card staying place and also the back cover on the 320. Take my advice, the astro 320 does not out perform the 220 besides the birdseye view.

I know most people don't have a problem most of the time with the snap style fasteners, but I just don't trust them--so I always look for metal buckles. I prefer to avoid D rings, especially if that is the only place for tag and leash connection.
