I am a dog trainer. And I use this clicker to work with my students and my own dogs. I love it! I am used to using box type clickers. And being a klutz I hate having to chase them around everywhere. I have turned many students on to these types. And this one also has lasted the longest. I have had it almost a year now! It is pretty amazing! For everyday use and for durability it gets 5 stars!

Upon receiving these clickers I immediately inspected them for quality. The build is stronger than most clickers I have used. Personally I feel it could have been left without the tab on the end and just left round with the strap in back, but I am not going to dock it a star over that. My second test was to click it. It was much quieter than all the other clickers I have used, but my puppy came running so it was loud enough for her to hear it in the next room.

The finger band on the back of the clicker is an absolutely amazing concept. I am constantly trying to manage treats and the clicker in one hand and often drop the clicker and chasing a clicker on the end of a wrist band while holding treats and clicking your pup at the right time is just too much of a hassle. Having the clicker strap to one of my fingers is very convenient and allows for me to reach for more treats while never having the clicker leave my hand. I sometimes have to click her from my pocket and this clicker gets the job done quickly with its ability to strap onto your finger.

ATC New 4in1 No Barking Harmless High Sensitivity Dog Training Collar Vibration Shock Device System

We bought this for our Chihuahua/Dachshund (Chi-weenie) mix puppy that loves to jump on people and barks non stop. We've had it a little over a week and now all we have to do is show her the transmitter and she is as good as gold. There is a whistle on it and if she is out of the room we push that button and she comes to us. We've only had to use the vibrator button on her. (One time I used the shock and she is a drama queen and she cried for 3 minutes solid after using the shock. I will NEVER use that on her again.) The vibrator is all she needs to behave. If she is outside and starts to bark, I push the vibrator and she stops. So the range distance is perfect. The batteries in the receiver run down pretty fast, but they are only AAA so it isn't too expensive to replace them. I love it and would recommend it for any size dog.

I purchased this item hoping that all the negative reviews were just people that didn't know what they were doing, or did something wrong with the item, that made it not work... I was wrong. This came in a bubble envelope with a sheet of instructions. There was no box, or protection OTHER than the bubble envelope. When I put all the batteries in, and tested the remote (the remote only, NOT with the collar) everything seemed to work fine. So i was surprised, and it seemed to be a little bit better quality than some of the reviews said about, the remote felt somewhat sturdy, and the collar seemed pretty good. Well, once I put the included LED up to the collar points, and tested the entire system, nothing happened. The LED did not light up, as it was suppoed to. I matched the remote to the collar, as it stated in the directions, and still nothing happened. I replaced the batteries in everything, and tried again. The included batteries are cheap off brand batteries, and probably were dead to begin with... well all of the LED's and lights work, but still no reaction from the collar. I even put my fingers up to the contact points to test the shock signal, and got nothing. The collar doesn't vibrate when I hit the button either. I chalk this up to donating my $20 to a not so good cause. I've already read the horrible reviews on customer service, so I'm not even going to bother. This was a bad purchase, and I won't make the mistake again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE, FOR ANY REASON. The remote "flashlight" works, but I guarantee it won't be of any use to anyone, it puts off VERY little light, and the "whistle" is a horrible sounding whistle that comes from the remote, not the collar, so I don't know what use that would be to anyone either. Just don't buy it.

We have a pom that is always barking, in our garden eating dirt and plants. We have only been using the vibration function which comparable to the vibration mode on your cell phone so it does not hurt the dog. The vibration just makes him stop what he was doing previously. I would follow with a firm NO as I press the buzzer hoping that he will associate the word with the uncomfortable vibration. We have been using this device for a week and we see improvements already. Over all, very easy to use, convinient with a remote. The collar is too large for any dog under 8lbs. Our pom is 6lbs. We are using one of the cat collars with a bell that we purchased from PetSmart. That collar holds the gadget well enough. The package comes with AAA batteries but you will need a 9 Volt battery for the remote.

Worked well the first day, by the second day it was broken, tried taking out the batteries and replacing them but it didn't change anything.

Good leash for the money. Have a dog who like to choose cloth and leather leashes so this one was the perfect answer. Only difficulty in ordering is even though it states different colors, it does not provide a way to choose the color you want. You have to send the seller a message. PetSafe Ultralight Sonic No Bark Dog Collar

It only worked for a week to week and a half for my dog, he wears it but barks constant still the same..he got used to the beeping. I even put it on high..he doesn't even notice it anymore :0/ I placed it on high no change..great I feel I had just wasted my money on something that doesn't work long. He's a very small dog to a Yorkie. Wish I could get credit and try something different before neighbors get mad even more, my last dog somebody poisoned him for barking..so worried for this one too now.

We have two Shitzus that bark all the time. We purchased two of these collars hoping it would make them stop barking. It did not work at all. In fact it made things worse. When the dogs hear the "beep", they begin barking even more at the sound. The more the collar goes off, the more the dogs bark. We tried it for two weeks with no luck. The only thing more annoying than two small barking dogs, is two small barking dogs with the high pitched squeal coming off this collar.

Bungee Pupee3-Feet X-Large Leash, Teal/Blue

The "bungee pupee dog leash" is a life saver. It works as advertised. I have a one year old Golden Retriever who often thinks that she is the one in charge while out on our morning and evening walks, and this product helps me keep my arm in socket during those unexpected jerks after the neighborhood cats. The bungee stretches during the initial pull and immediately retracts when she stops the tug. It actually is a wonderful dog walking training aide. My only concern is the clasp. I have noticed it sticking and not automatically closing, forcing me to check each and every time I put the leash on her, which is kind of a pain. But that is my only complaint, an otherwise terrific product. I am going to take her for a walk right now.

I was really surprised that the bells actually worked on my 3 1/2 month springer spaniel. We hung the bells on the door knob and rang them every time we took her out to do her duty. She got the hang of it after only 2 days and would gently nudge them to go out. Now at 4 1/2 months, she grabs them by her mouth and really shakes them until somebody lets her out.

I saw this online and thought, hey, why not try it. My four month old golden doodle learned it in one day! I thought maybe he'd ring it just to go play outside. He did that only once. It's really amazing! Tonight I took him out to pee before bed as usual. A half hour later, he rings the bell. I'm thinking "ugh, good grief". But you have to follow through or they learn it means nothing. I take him out and he pooped right away. I thought I knew his routine, but he knows what the bells mean. I'm glad I took him out! It was so easy to teach him to ring the bells. I'm no longer afraid that he'll have an accident in the house. Now he can communicate without barking at the door or sniffing in a corner(not a good sign). I recommend this!

These bells are very nice looking. Unfortunately, my dog just doesn't seem to get it. He will ring the bell when I ask, but he doesn't do it on his own. I do like the bells though and hope one day he will get them.

I'd say this is a good purchase, simply because I didn't want to have to make this myself.

I have a very smart yorkie. He is not typical: He is rambunctious, scrappy, and very much a "boy" dog. If he could roll around in garbage and bark at squirrels all day, he would be happy. I had Chunk trained to the point at which he knew that ringing the bells meant I would let him outside, but he didn't quite get the whole, "ring the bells when I have to go potty" part of it. That meant that when my husband went outside to do yard work and Chunk wanted to be with him, he would ring the bells, I would let him out, and he would not potty. I would let him inside, then he would crap on the floor. The product is great in theory, but I advise others to make sure to complete potty training before introducing the bells, because it may confuse the dog as it did Chunk. Perhaps he is just too smart for his own good.

If your cats aren't too bright, the mat always has to be in place. I was hoping my cats would learn to avoid certain areas so I can move the mat around, but have unfortunately had to buy an extra one along with an extension.

If you want to keep cats off certain furniture, this is a great product. If you want to train your cats to stay away from a place, it might not work, depending on how smart your cats are.

With my older mat I've noticed that the activity light goes on by itself and the mat shocks the air (I hear the noise) every once in a while when there is nothing on the mat. This wastes the battery (be aware that you have to buy a 9 volt battery separately, as it doesn't come with the product). Despite this, the battery seems to last a long time (almost 6 months).

After buying new leather furniture for our media room and trying mulitple things to keep our dog and cat off the new furniture, I purchased the 48" ScatMat. It worked so well, I purchased the shorter 30" mat for our love seat. Keeps both the dog and cat off the furniture. It has 3 different levels of intensity, which is nice for different size pets. Once the pets learn of the shock, you don't always have to turn them on. I highly recommend this product. Just remember to turn them off and remove them when you have company coming to visit. A couple of our guests have sat down on the mats before we could warn them. Not a big shock, but it got their attention.

I purchased this as a last ditch effort to save my husband's cat from being banished from the house due to urinating on my brand new sofa and chair. The product was actually recommended by the upholstery cleaning company who cleaned said furniture for us. I ordered 2--one 10x16 to go across the back of the sofa and a smaller one to go across the back of the recliner. They arrived fast! They're simple to put together---you just install the battery in the power pack, then snap the power pack onto the mat. Choose your setting from lo to high (I used high!) and the mat is activated. Now, I have not yet seen the cat get zapped, but she must have been because she has gone from lounging all over the furniture like she owns it to making a W I D E circle around the furniture and not even hopping up for a minute. I am finding no cat hair on the furniture, so this is a good indication that she was zapped and has chosen to avoid having that happen again. I call this a successful diversion and would definitely purchase again and would highly recommend this product. As an added bonus I have enjoyed many moments of amusement when my hubby sits down on the sofa and casually tosses his arm across the back. LOL He's been zapped four or five times now and each time the kids and I have laughed so hard we cried. FYI.....the people who declared this a "cruel" way to train an animal are likely to have no experience with this mat, in my opinion. Even on the highest setting it isn't a "painful" shock. It's like the well built up, foot shuffling static shock we all had fun with as kids. It uses a 9v battery, so obviously we aren't talking death chamber electrocution here. It's enough, tho and does work as the manufacturer suggests as a deterrent to keep pets (and some husbands) off of the furniture!

This little mat is fantastic. I don't even have to have it on anymore. My cats see it and know how it feels if they step on it. Anywhere you don't want your cats: sofa, dining room table, kitchen counter, etc., put down the mat and they will stay away. I would definitely recommend this product. Will not hurt or injure your cat. I love, love, love it!!!

Our young cats are awesome, but my boy has "the call of the wild" and wants to run out the door every time he hears it open, which is a nuisance when we are going in and out a lot. We set the scat mat in front of the door, and both stepped on it and got a zap which was enough for them to jump off quickly. After this happened a couple of times, they stay away from the door even if we leave it open. I took a piece of clear vinyl shelf liner and put it by the door instead, and they still stay away, so we were able to move the mat to the back door.

We returned the Dogtek system for another with smaller device on the collar.

works very well but the collar tends to die after a year and you have to have dogtek replace it. There are 2 things I do not care for about the collar

1st is that the internal beeper to warn the dog is so faint that the dogs do not hear it most of the time especially when they are excited about something on the other side.

The 2nd thing that i do not like about the collar is the battery and it's life. The battry is a CR2 and there is no way on earth the battery lasts 6 months like dogtek advertises, beprepaired to replace it every month and CR2 batteries are not cheap.

We added a dog and needed to add a collar for our Dogteck Electronic Fence. The first dog is medium sized and the color fits well. This new dog is small (though not as small as a toy) and the color is very big on her. Be careful with the batteries. They seem to work they way loose and no longer make contact. All in all, I'm satisfied that I made the right choice. Oh, and changing the batteries is a hassle. You have to loosen the collar from the back of the battery cover and then work four very small screws which will require a small Phillips style screwdriver.

Use this instead of string cheese as it is a high-value treat, but does not get your fingers or pocket goooey (like regular cheese). Like the fact that there are no "extra" (read fake) ingredients. The mat was great it kept our 40lb pointer mix off our bed when we left our home. She tried many times at first but later on the indicator showed she cut it by half. So far so good :)

This shock mat was expensive with very poor directions. While handling it, I myself kept getting shocked. To my shock, the electric shock was pretty intense and painful. However if I can figure out how to handle it, it may deter my cat. Unfortunately, she is much smarter than both me and the idiot who wrote the instructions.

Sporn Nylon Non Pulling Dog Harness, Large/X-Large, Black

I have a 9 month old Boxer who is so strong that I would not take her for walks for fear of one of us being injured. Luckily we have a great yard set up for her where she gets plenty of exercise, but I missed being able to go on walks with her as she grew bigger and stronger.

I saw this harness on a dog training show on tv and decided it was worth a try. On the show it was used on a boxer that was even crazier than my dog and it appeared to have an instant effect. I decided it was worth a try. The first walk I took her on made me a believer. When she starts to pull it lifts her front legs off the ground and she can't get anywhere. The impact on both me and the dog is minimal. I now feel that I have the control to be able to take her on walks with my two small children. I highly recommend this harness.

This harness is great! I have a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix that seems to think going for walks means pulling me around the neighborhood. I had tried everything but the dog was just so stubborn that she wouldn't learn. I had decided that I was either going to have to reluctantly purchase a choke collar for her or just stop walking her altogether. Thankfully, my neighbor introduced me to this collar that she uses for her Lab. It really works. It's very humane, so the dog isn't hurt at all, but it really does make them stop pulling. The harness goes around the neck and underneath the 2 front legs so when the dog starts pulling the harness basically pulls the front legs off the ground thereby stopping the dog from walking. This is a great product and I will never use anything else.

I bought this harness for our 6 month old Golden Retriever. On the smallest setting it actually fits! We are excited about that because it certainly will fit her through into adulthood. It is easy to put on and take off. Easy to adjust. Harness has pads around the legs, not the thickest, but should do the job of making her more comfortable. She is still getting used it. But we are happy that she is not being choked around the neck when we take her for walks. She is a big-time puller. I wondered what the big deal about the mesh was. But now I understand because it expands for comfort (there is elastic supporting the mesh from behind). We haven't had the harness for long, but so far are pleased.

I bought this to use during the "training process" with my 2yr old Doberman rescue. He came to me completely untrained. Hes 80lbs, I'm 125lbs not a good combination if he wants to get to something. He tends to only pull to get to another dog and occasionally pulled me across someone's yard to see a dog behind a fence. Not fun. While working on regular leash and obedience training I needed something to give me more control of him. I bought this based on other reviews and even if he's lunging to get to another dog, I have complete control over him. It makes walking him and working on heeling a breeze. I have complete control over him with exerting very little energy. I'd definitely recommend to anyone else who loves big dogs but may not be as strong as they are :/

I was a little skeptical about how this would work, but after I figured out how to put it on my dog (it's a little confusing at first), I love this harness! My dog was a heavy puller and I worried about damage the regular collar and leash were doing to her neck, and it made walks less than enjoyable. My efforts to train her to heel were inconsistent (my fault) and any training goes out the window when she sees a squirrel. With this harness the pulling stops instantly. As soon as she gets to the end of the leash she stops. It's amazing! It even deters her from lunging after squirrels. Walks are much more easy and fun. I've recommended this already to my mom who has a 100 pound lab that acts more like a bull.
